CSGO turned into CS:2
What are you thoughts about this folks? Do you think that with this change some players and teams will capitalize and might be able to become better and the others could be the downfall for this update? I haven't played yet but it seems that this newer version of Counter Strike needs more graphics so those that have potato PCs might have problem playing the game. I haven't tried it yet on my potato PC but hopefully it works but I don't think so since it's under the minimum requirements.
There are many opinions about CS2. Those who like it love it very much and those who don't like it don't like it at all. I'm stuck in the middle because some features have been completely canceled and many players complain about it. You can't bunny hop comfortably, like in CS:GO, or you can't do FerrariPeek anymore. The game mechanics are completely different, but the more realistic graphics and everything is perfect. Potato may cause some problems for PCs, so I lowered it to the lowest settings, the image gets a little pixelated, but it becomes playable.
Yeah, potato PC can just put it on lower settings but that's not the best graphical experience that a player may have. But well, do we have a choice? The choice is to upgrade but until that happens, we need to lower the settings so that we can still enjoy the game. Well, those moves that you've mentioned that can no longer happen could also be a game changer to everybody, mostly to the pro players. Anyway, all are adjusting and learning from it and we just have to enjoy it as there's no reverting to the CSGO. Who knows if Valve will make that happen but that will just divide players into CS2 and CS:GO.
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is possible to clone Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2023, 05:27:28 PM
There have been a lot of forks that were made and based from Bitcoin but they're not clones. As pointed by everybody here, it's out of Bitcoin's code but it's not an actual clone of it because there can only be one in existence and that's the real and actual Bitcoin.
While the copied ones cannot be called as bitcoin so they add something like gold or any term and that's distinguishing them from the real Bitcoin. Anyway, why have you brought this topic? Did someone asked you to or it just came to your mind out of nowhere?

I love it. Been playing CS2 only for the past month, the improved graphic with Source2 engine makes the environment and especially weapon skins look so much better.
I've watched some live streams that played CS2 and all I can say that it's truly and way better than the older version.

Regarding new players rising with game change, most top players will stay on top but I expect to see some new names in the coming months. Even though the core mechanic of the game hasn't changed that much, the change in smoke, subtick, and MR12 could shake some things up.
There could be a little adjustment for the pros but they're adaptable and it's their professional so basically, this is an easy adjustment for them. And for some new names coming, that's for sure as this could also be the meta for them.
1424  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: September 28, 2023, 09:18:45 AM
I agree that the impact after Covid-19 is the worst where the economy in many countries is affected and the unemployment rate is getting higher. Luckily enough for me I still have a job now and coupled with the income from this forum I am quite optimistic that I can get through this difficult time.
That was like the dark ages for this era and when we're just about to get out of it. War came and there are still rumors of war from the other countries. Lucky you are and those that still have got a job, lucky we are.  Smiley

Even though it is quite stressful for me to finance my various needs and pay off debts from last Covid, I still believe in my strength and God will help me through this difficult time. The point is to keep believing that we can get through this difficult time because that is the most important thing to stay positive.
Well said. There might be unbelievers that will read what you've said but that's fine. We've got a God that will help us and will always do that whether in times of need or not.

1426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bad Experience in Bitcoin Peer-to-Peer in CEX. on: September 27, 2023, 10:12:45 PM
That's a normal scenario in the P2P markets and that's why you've got the option to just go with any local exchange that you have if there's any if the matter is urgent like you are really in need of cash. They've got the automatic market trade but of course the price is not the same and could be lower than the P2P market where you're trading. I guess that option is good when you're in a hurry but if not, P2P is still your best place to go when you like more some quite higher pricing.
1427  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: September 27, 2023, 08:07:15 PM
Hello nitrobetting, I've just stumbled upon and got to check you guys. I think that you're complete package because I've seen that you've got my favorite esports and other esports as well. Also, I have read several discussions about horse racing and you've got a racebook too for which IMO, the first time to see a bookie that have this. There could have been bookies before that have horse racing but they didn't last. You've got variety of games that anyone could enjoy. Hope you'll stay for long.

You advertise them and yet "stumbled upon" them, sounds legit.

Many sites have horse racing. Sportsbet.io is MUCH bigger site and long time in business and has horse racing.

And if you want to see how "legit" nitrobetting is just check their previous site nitrogen sports here, great feedback:

Great post, just great! Complete package....  Roll Eyes
That's why I check them out not just because I am in their campaign but because I want to check them out and probably just used the wrong word stumbled upon, pardon me with that. Thanks, I didn't know all of that what you've said. I know that it sounds sarcastic about that complete package but that's what I see with the design that they have by just looking at it. Anyway, thanks bud for all what you've said.

1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: September 26, 2023, 11:12:25 PM
No gambling ads I've seen but because that most of the people are into the internet, this isn't going to be regulated.
Going back to television, the sponsor banners from most matches aren't regulated as well and from those games, they're visible. So if I am watching some basketball games or any sports as long as there are these sponsors, they're very visible in the eyes of the child. But if it's just the gambling ads, thank goodness that I haven't seen one because for sure a lot of parents will be triggered by that. Because with what's happening in social media, there are plenty of them and parents can't stop ignoring the proliferation of these.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 26, 2023, 09:07:01 PM
If we can't stop ourselves while we're we gambling. It's best to realize it later that we need to take some break and check ourselves if we're still doing it correctly.
For the better, maybe we need to take a break by stopping the gambling habit for a few days or weeks so that we don't think about gambling. By resting, we can do other things that are more useful.
Use that time for something else when you are eager to quit. The fun is still there and you might find your new happiness in doing other things.

The thing when we want to stop but can't control ourselves is we become the other person like what we don't know who we are. This happens when we're losing and even if we want to stop, it just can't happen. Big realization should come to those gamblers that can't do it.
When we lose, we can stop the game to rest and not gamble again. Instead of losing more money, we should secure the money and continue gambling another day so that we will not be frustrated that day.
The opposite happens for most gamblers, we tend to gamble more and we think that it's way better to chase the losses until we're out of money already. We can't wait until the other day comes so instead of having that particular alloaction for that day, we use it within the day that we're chasing losses.
1431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why China Recognize Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2023, 12:49:08 PM
What a roller coaster ride of Bitcoin on that country. They've announced a lot of bans from Bitcoin to ICO, mining, etc. Last time, there was a news that they're pilot testing CBDC. This time, they're recognizing and its court declared that it's a digital currency.

[Open question]
China is a socialist country. I don't quite understand the recognition of Bitcoin.
Indeed, we should engage in an extended thought process to understand why China has chosen to recognize it.
Don't get confused by them. Anything that there's gonna be money on it, they're going to recognize it. Just like the other known economists telling that they dislike Bitcoin or it's a shit, they're the same as theirs. As long as there's a cash cow on this space, they'll not tell things that they're planning to do.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 25, 2023, 10:31:01 PM
We must not be like those gamblers because we must really be able to control ourselves and before our money runs out at the gambling table, we must be able to stop so as not to lose a lot.
If we can't stop ourselves while we're we gambling. It's best to realize it later that we need to take some break and check ourselves if we're still doing it correctly.

We don't need to experience incidents like other gamblers because we still control our gambling so we can also stop before things get worse.
The thing when we want to stop but can't control ourselves is we become the other person like what we don't know who we are. This happens when we're losing and even if we want to stop, it just can't happen. Big realization should come to those gamblers that can't do it.
1433  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: September 25, 2023, 05:43:53 PM
I don’t think anybody truly retires young, they just stop having to work for people for money. Most of the “retired” people I know have replaced their jobs with other things. Sometimes relationships with people, sometimes hobbies, sometimes with a new business they run themselves for fun.
Right, retired from corporate job but still continues to work with something else where they're their own boss. And it's much easier on this era because we've got Uber, food deliveries, car pools, etc. With those opportunities, it doesn't limit the age of the people that can work for those jobs.

I think retirement isn’t exactly a black or white thing.
It's becoming a word that literally means to resign or retire from the corporate world.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING] Crypto casino scam on teh move again. on: September 25, 2023, 03:47:21 PM
I've read something like that and IIRC that was also here. Just don't entertain random people that offer you almost guaranteed money and too good to be true offers.
They are strangers that are just roaming around trying to look for their victims and just don't make yourself as a victim of theirs.
Thank you OP for giving that pointers as there could be newbie gamblers here that might not be aware of this sketchy scheme.
1435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the feature of Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2023, 12:25:41 PM
What do you think about what is the feature of Bitcoin, can Bitcoin touch $50,000 in 2025?
Feature then you ask for the price. You should ask about people predictions about it and not feature.

I think that Bitcoin will go to $50,000 but not in 2025, maybe in 2026.
It's okay, although it has been met on 2021 and more than that. We don't know actually when it will be back at that range again. But the majority is thinking of 2024 and 2025 as the time that will be seeing price above $50k. If not, we always have the next years for it.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 24, 2023, 11:11:33 PM
Team Spirit may not be as consistent as they were on their TI champs run back in 2021, but they are still pretty decent, even with the departure of TORONTOTOKYO.
This is true, Larl is a good replacement and managed to adjust with the team and won with huge prize pool tournaments. Torontotokyo's team, BetBoom is also good but they did just ended up 3rd, well shouldn't use 'just' on it because it's still a good ending.
Why is Team Spirit is just soooo good? Not concerning about the achievement of GG as it's still an incomparable achievement compared to Team Spirit but it's all about the money as glory comes after it.

Part of it is from Miposhka and Collapse's dynamic. They are great as support-offlane and are actively putting pressure on the enemy team, giving a much needed space for Yatoro and Larl to just do their thing and farm up experience and gold. They are really good in making space if they set the tempo early on, but are sometimes falling off when the pressure is applied to them early on. There are much better teams than TS right now, although I must say that their team dynamics is still holding up against the likes of GG, especially if they get that single early advantage against enemies.
Yeah, no contest that tandem of them is amazing and impressive. They're consistent ever since they've become TI champ. Also, yatoro as a position 1 is really dependable.
You do some space and yatoro will comply to his role and he's not going to disappoint you. Even he's having hard time farming, he's just a beast honestly, everyone of them and mira too. A very well coordinated tea.

1438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I learned something new from Bitcoin today on: September 24, 2023, 07:54:11 PM
You can make money from trading and gambling. But choose what you think where you're good at. A trader can lose entirely his funds on his trading account on an instant depending on his trade like in margin. And the same goes with a gambler which is more common than trading.
While there are other options in trading where you can just simply do it on the spot without having the worry that it will go down to zero. The risk is there depending on the choice of the coins that you're going to trade. If a coin or token you chose has zero liquidity and volume, consider it as an entire net loss.
1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 24, 2023, 05:56:51 PM
Everytime i'm playing at home, I prefer to do it inside my room (alone or sometimes with my partner).
Me either. I don't want someone to see what I am doing as I feel uncomfortable with that. And it's like whoever in my family, I don't want to see them do it.

If your kids by chance saw you playing, just to talk to them that it's not appropriate for kids and let them understand. Next time, make sure they can't see you, at their young age it's a bit hard for them to comprehend everything especially kids tend to ask a lot of questions.
Kids these days are curious and will keep asking you what you're doing and they'll never stop unless you tell them what really is going on. It's going to be depending on how you will handle the talks on them and they're still kids, despite you need to teach them to tell a thing honestly. As a parent, you need to reciprocate that even if you don't want to.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: September 23, 2023, 10:51:05 PM
For Dota 2 , can someone stop BetBoom ? Even if they are playing today in LB , I don't think OG will even win a map against them.
You're right and if you bet on their match, you're just exactly what it is. BetBoom won against OG with a 2-0 ending. There are three more teams left on this Dream League, Shopify lost and they've been sent in the lower bracket that shall be up against BetBoom.
While again, Team Spirit is waiting in the finals. Why Team Spirit is always good like they are? I just hope that they'll do the same with the TI as the prize pool will be higher as they're always good when the prize for the champ is always high.
