For Dota 2 , can someone stop BetBoom ? Even if they are playing today in LB , I don't think OG will even win a map against them.
You're right and if you bet on their match, you're just exactly what it is. BetBoom won against OG with a 2-0 ending. There are three more teams left on this Dream League, Shopify lost and they've been sent in the lower bracket that shall be up against BetBoom.
While again, Team Spirit is waiting in the finals. Why Team Spirit is always good like they are? I just hope that they'll do the same with the TI as the prize pool will be higher as they're always good when the prize for the champ is always high.
1442  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 23, 2023, 01:11:16 PM
Should we actually depends on the global economy for our survival, we have to work on our own and make things happen for us the way we expect, if we are considering the inflation rate and the way the economy isn't stable in many ways, there are other things we could do that will make us self sustainable, we also have to develope our interest in learning self dependent skills, anything that could renders us independent is what we should be fighting for and we can also go into agriculture which is a natural means as long as we can work it.
Like farming, gardening and other life skills that we can use for our survival. These skills are being forgotten but if we're going to go with the reality, these skills are very needed and effective if we're going to the point that all we need to do is to survive. We can plant our foods, fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products that we can benefit from these life skills. But if you're not in an area where you can't do this, then adopt and improve yourself to learn other necessary skills that will earn you more money.

Some of players that changes team offseason: John Collins Hawks to Jazz, Dennis Schroder Lakers to Raptors, Kristaps Porziņģis Wizards to Celtics, Obi Toppin Knicks to Pacers, Max Strus Heat to Celtics, Bruce Brown Nuggets to Pacers, Joe Harris Nets to Piston, Lonnie Walker 4 Lakers to Nets, Joe Ingles to Magic and Michael Beasley to Bucks.

Got that summary here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CxdQ3wZrBKd/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Thanks, I think that Raptors just taken a gem on them. Coming from the high offer of Lakers before but then Schroder declined that offer and then comes back with the little offer made by Lakers again. After the good run of Lakers last season but didn't have a good start but a good ending and as well as his spectacular performance he's got during the FIBA world cup that has made Germany their world cup title that he's lead. Well, Raptors did really acquired someone that's in their favor and he'll for sure gonna be showing us more of his better plays.
1444  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: September 23, 2023, 08:42:50 AM
I have witnessed to poor in every state in the usa i visited. say 25 states.

I have seen poor people in every asian country I have been in.
They are everywhere and even in the rich countries, there will always be those people that are living in poverty. Even if there's a help from the government if they don't wanna help themselves. That's why those people that have been doing nothing and are all depending to the help of their government, coming from cash incentives monthly, food stamps and every help that's coming from the government. They don't wanna work and they're all good with their situation, we can't blame them for being like that but we're not like them, we've got a lot of things to do and dreams and goals trying to reach with all hard work that we do.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A advise to my friend about his decision on: September 22, 2023, 10:22:51 PM
Actually most people are afraid of BTC, since there are two main problems:

1. Lack of adoption: nothing can be bought directly with btc, so people can't use BTC as money. This leads to underestimating of real value of BTC
I don't think so that those are really problems why most people don't want themselves to get attached to bitcoin. Adoption is there and even if there's not that much of it, they can easily sell it to exchanges as it's highly liquid. One major reason is that they're afraid of those scammers that uses Bitcoin for their tricks or it's being used by criminals in the dark marketplaces and I guess that belief won't change.

2. Legal uncertainty: if adoption is needed for small everyday purchases, legal problems are a bad thing for expensive transactions. In any country the official status of cryptassets is vague, even if crypto is legal. That's why people avoid buying expensive things directly with btc, since such purchase is at a risk of being unaccepted by officials, which is really important in case of real estate deals.
Honestly, there are only few countries that have banned Bitcoin. The rest, either neutral and positive. Thus, you are not required to spend Bitcoin for goods as many are treating it as an investment and just holds it easily.
1446  Economy / Economics / Re: The Kids buying Mcdonald order via BTC on: September 22, 2023, 05:36:05 PM
Wherever this is, this seems an interesting adoption that's happening somewhere in the world. Maybe it's just these kids are pressing the buttons but the actual wallet is owned by their parent or guardian. But what's more interesting is that this McDonalds is accepting Bitcoin.

I can't see the tweet either. I imagine that must be in Lugano, Switzerland, or El Salvador, as far as I know there are no other places accepting Bitcoin at McDonald's.
I've just found an old article that a branch of McDonalds accepts Bitcoin in Lugano, Switzerland so maybe this is the place since the article also mentioned about the kiosk.
Article: McDonald’s starts to accept Bitcoin and Tether in Swiss town

Instead , in Dota 2 , GG are about to be eliminated and long have I waited for this moment because they dominated for too long this year and I think it's about time for another team to win DreamLeague ...maybe BetBoom ? They are playing against winner of GG and Entity.  Smiley
GG is now out of the Dream League. It's a 2-1 standing from Entity. And in that case, BetBoom is going to face against Entity later on. With the current match that's happening now, it is with OG and 9Pandas. After that match then the BB and Entity match will happen.
Speaking of 9Pandas, there's this rumor that we might see Puppey going with TI together with this team as their coach. How true is that? I don't know, I've just seen some posts about that and if it tends true, I think that it's still better to have Silent as it was him all over this time that has coached them all year round.
1448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 22, 2023, 03:57:25 AM
There's a leak photo that Dwight Howard is already with Dray, Cp3 and DeRozan training together in LA.

Dwight Howard is defensive with his strength which is unmatchable, always ready to take on his opponents with zero chances of losing the ball. Perhaps he's on the rader of Warriors, the coach, Kerr picks interest in him and would be excited to blend him into the team were he will explore more options. Dwight Howard is often consistent but with severe injuries, he's an outstanding player who needs enough time to gain form and fall back to the team. There are expectations from his supporters, because he's am important player and his presence will definitely benefits his new team.
We all knew that but he is past his prime but we're all happy to see him that there's this interest of getting him back on the league and with a good team, the Golden State Warriors. He's still one of the best defensive guy that a team can ever have, he may be older this time but his height and body are still the same. I'm thinking if he's heard with his tweet before and that was like the FIBA world cup when he's calling out that he can still play for the NBA. And well, we see that GSW obliged and answered him with this action.
1449  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Meet AssetX - The future of asset markets 💸 on: September 20, 2023, 10:39:31 PM
Hi founder,
Nothing against your optimism to what you're doing on this project and keep it up. But IMHO, if you have missed the early days of ICO/IEO, there have been projects like this so to claim that you're the first tokenized asset exchange, there have been others. I just can't name them because I have forgotten them since they were years ago. And with those projects, most of them have failed and I remember that there's one that have focused into real estate and tokenizing the shares that one can get. Since you have said about its potential to real estate and tokenizing fractions of it. I just don't get it because if I am an investor, aside from taking and owning a real land, I might just buy a REIT. And for the others you've mentioned like collectibles and arts, there have been the same platforms that are more popular than of yours. Of course it's understandable because you're just starting out so the real challenge is there.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Maybe we should rethink calling ourselves the "first tokenized asset exchange." I did a lot of research, but I couldn't find any similar platforms, so I thought we were the first ones to do this.

People tried tokenization before during the initial ICO boom, but it didn't work out. Just because some folks were more focused on getting money than actually building the product doesn't mean the idea itself isn't good.

Nowadays, tokenization is becoming popular again. The platforms you see today are all about turning different types of things into digital assets. Our platform is an exchange, so with all these others popping up, the world will need a reliable place to trade them. I want to bring all these different platforms together in one central place. This will make more assets available and trading easier.
NP.
If you can't find those similar platforms it's probably because they were gone already as it was during the time when the boom of ICO, tons of them have been made but found no success. Maybe this time it will work and it will depend on how encouraged you are to do it and will tirelessly going to work for it.

I agree that there are a lot of challenges, and this is a big job. But we're dedicated to working on it steadily and making progress. I think a project like this should happen. If we don't do it, someone else will. It's something that will happen eventually.
For now, it's truly hard and you guys are believing on what you do and that's the challenge to let the world show what you're working on and why your project is needed. Good luck.

Trying to keep Harden means that they are going to try to go for the title again this year. Could they do it? There is a possibility, the team is good enough to give it a try and normally I would say that their roster is strong enough to be able to do it.
Well, after all of the exposure of Harden of how he's treated by the management. Still at the end of the day, everything has been made well through talks and agreement. Good for him and also for the Phila but I don't know how long he's going to be there or there will be another series of stint exposure from him. But talking with the roster together with Embid and other key players, they're still one of the good teams to count on.

However, the lack of defense by Harden is a big deal and I feel like it is going to end up costing them a lot of trouble, this is why I feel like it is going to take a while for them to get a ring, they need one more player that would be good at defense and can guard the little guys as well, basically cover the difference Harden creates. Warriors has done it, Curry is not known for his defense, but Klay defended the best players and that allowed Curry to be not abused on defense too much.
They'll just have to do it and let Harden focus on his own strength and be the scoring machine. Speaking of 76ers, are they going to sign McClung or is there a news about him or did they signed him already? because I don't find such.

Hi founder,

I'm thrilled to introduce you to AssetX, the world's first tokenized asset exchange that's set to revolutionize the way we interact with assets. As the founder, I'm excited to share this exclusive peek into what we believe is the future of asset markets.

1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin can go to $5 million? on: September 18, 2023, 10:23:07 PM
The reality is that no price prediction has gone right so far about Bitcoin.
It is because Bitcoin has exceeded those predictions. Like people in the past have been speculating that $20k will be reached again and then it did happened but what's next? It has surpassed that price to another ATH which resulted as x3 from the past ATH.

The next major event coming up is halving next year and it will tell alot about future bitcoin price.
Yeah, that is for real.
The next halving will be lit and aside from that awaited event every 4 years, we're also gonna catch the impact of those Bitcoin ETF that has filed by several financial institutions.

Simanic was the unluckiest player during this FIBA. His kidney got removed because of one of their games when he got hit by an elbow. He's in a delicate situation and I just wish him a speedy recovery. This surgery will change his life forever especially to his basketball career.

Serbian men's basketball player Boriša Simanić underwent an emergency surgery Sunday − his second in less than a week − to remove a kidney after he sustained an elbow to the midsection at the FIBA World Cup in Manila.

Congratulations to all three of them. I have watch majority of the games from these qualified teams and it seems too easy for them when it has come to their last qualifying matches.
I agree they had a shaky start in the first few days and kept improving as they progressed further in the qualifiers. Also, it was interesting to see a few unexpected teams (Luna Galaxy, Blacklist, and Team Zero) get pushed to their full potential.
Blacklist really got more than my expectation. I guess that the addition of 343 and Xepher as their coach and assistant coach helped them a lot.
Because with their other tournament games, they have been too weak IMHO that the expectation of many got them far. That's it, the qualifiers are done and the 20 teams are now complete for the grand The International 12. The prize pool haven't been announced yet and it's like a surprise prize pool. Talking about the prize, it was still Team Spirit that has taken the most of it when they've won on TI2021 raking them $18M being the champ.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: August 31, 2023, 11:37:46 PM
Congrats to SMG, Entity and Quest for making it to TI surviving the brutal qualifiers!  Grin
Congratulations to all three of them. I have watch majority of the games from these qualified teams and it seems too easy for them when it has come to their last qualifying matches. I'll just wanna talk about the offlaner of Entity who was replaced now by Gabbi which is Tobi. When Entity has kicked them, it's obvious that he's the weakest link of the team. And when he's transferred to Quest Esports, both Entity and Quest Esports became stronger. So, his transfer did the better for both teams and they're going to meet Entity's former offlaner in the TI.

I have no problem with the current roster of OG. It is just that WEU competition is really high.
Super agree to this, even the division 2 team is now very hard ro defeat and sometimes can beat div 1 team on close match just like what happens to Nigma.
It's the best region, no Team Secret this time, no OG, no Nigma again. I think that the easiest region for this qualifier is the South America region. NA is quite easy as well, Dendi and his B8 team transferred there but a controversy has been brought by Quinn that they were not really playing in the NA but somewhere in Europe or in Ukraine but still, they didn't win the qualifier.
1460  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 28, 2023, 08:49:43 PM
Real estate is a good investment idea. If someone  has money, he must invest in real estate. Real estate gives passive income through which we can spend our lives without doing work. Money work for us, we don't work for money. Through real estate income, we can invest money in crypto or Bitcoin that can grow our wealth.
Everything you have said about real estate are true.

Bitcoin is good crypto current to invest, it gives 400_600 percent profit. We can become a millionaire by investing in Bitcoin and by doing business we can invest in Bitcoin and we can achieve a huge success in life.
However, don't say this guarantee upon investing in Bitcoin. This is why many newbies are misinformed about the market's volatility and this affects their patience. To simplify the gain and percent you've mentioned, it is 4 to 6 times in profit although it's very possible.
Don't make it look easy for one to extract it because you and I might be patient but the person that you might tell that isn't. And that's where it's being said that it is not guaranteed in profit upon investing. Because it requires long patience and long suffering until we able to hit that gain.
