441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: confidence or loss on: January 10, 2018, 07:54:29 AM
how to establish confidence in buying and selling altcoin because when looking at the price down and immediately want to sell even loss

Then you are not ready to engage in Alt trading especially if its the coins that are rarely know because those kind of coins you are not sure of what will happen next. But trading is not for the soft minded but intelligent ones. Its a risk sometimes you benefit from it, at other times you fail from such. But the way out is to establish a stop point where if price should fall below, take a decision without second guessing yourself whether you made the right decision or not. Sometimes you win, at other times, you lose.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the deeponion haters now?? on: January 10, 2018, 07:01:21 AM
So with deeponion in the verge of breaking $20 i remember when i first joined the airdrop (just after i really got into crypto) i didnt even know what the term airdrop or fud meant. But i remember seeing a bunch of people on this forum saying deeponion was a scam this that and the other. But im curious now where are those same people and what do they think? What is everyones opinion on deeponion??

I also saw quite an amount of discussion concerning whether DeepOnion is scam or not and the discussion went so long even into several pages of the thread with arguments and counter arguments both for and against DeepOnion. But come to think of it, when I read some, both have valid points as to why they stick to their different sides of the argument. I admit that DeepOnion coin has come a long way though but the increase in price is not enough to measure success of a coin and I hope it can still sustain the improvement that it has witnessed so far.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 10, 2018, 06:42:13 AM
I personally still believes in ICOs and even a lot of people castigating the ICOs also still believes just that the standard that the ICO must meet to gain my believe is high and even expensive as it is. The ICO market has been one where a lot of money movement has happened and a lot individual saw as an avenue to make free money at the expense of those who have a workable project to finance which then mean they must be ready to go the extra mile to convince people of their legitimacy and makes fraud more difficult to commit and not necessarily stopping it.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium to reach bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 05:58:28 AM
I think ETHEREUM could reach a price over $ 10,000
because it is still much in comparison with the current BITCOIN price, and also the second competitor ETHEREUM is BTCcash
my prediction ETHEREUM could reach $ 30,000
and hopefully

The is one high level speculation which I believe its possible because even with the amount of increase ETH has witnessed, there is still the chance to do more but my concern is why its just being compared to bitcoin as a competitor why can't the two coexist and both achieve the potentials of reaching new heights rather than one fall is the rise of another.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: January 10, 2018, 05:10:37 AM
Who are the subjects here ? Is it us or the government that is afraid to bitcoin ?
If it is us, I think it is normal because people do hold doubts
and if the government fears bitcoin and think they can't handle it if bitcoin population increases there will be issue and they will try to stop every transactions.

You are very much on point because avkot of posters did not even specify who those afraid are. But more of those who are afraid , I will apportion to government because this is a central authority that regulate every aspect of our life. The people we can associate with, the gathering youbcan go, the kind of job you can do, even if you earn money, the way you can spend it and how much at a time and they are the one afraid and because of their influence, they distribute it to citizens and make them also afraid.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cappuccino for bitcoins - how much should I charge? on: January 09, 2018, 09:18:39 PM
Please don't compare to dollars or any other currency. How do I come to a bitcoin price? Should it be based off of the cost to mine bitcoins?

The best way is the cost to make the cappuccino in the first place and every other incidental cost you want to attach. And since you don't want to use USD as a basis, or any other fiat for that matter, all you just ask yourself a sincere question and that is, how much would you pay in btc for that particular product if you can answer that genuinely, then you will no the right amount to charge but if not, it means you are not ready for business as it is.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Which is the best way to earn Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2018, 08:23:35 PM
What I would say is that, there is no best way to earn as every way whatsoever, comes with its own cost, advantages and disadvantages. It then depends on which one as an individual you feel is aligned with your personality. For me, I won't move close to an HYIP sites while to other people, they believed that if they invest early, they get their refund and that us their own best way but for now, I would choose trading above any other option
448  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: how to get taxed on bitcion for LT gain on: January 09, 2018, 07:54:32 PM
What's your tax residency? Some countries (eg. Germany) tax mining as regular income -- based on the exchange rate at the time of mining payout -- regardless of holding time.
I would really want to know about this, does that mean that if at the point of payout bitcoin is $15000 and Op have to hold till next year and price has increased to say $20000 when he is converting to fiat. Will he be subjected to tax at $15000 or $20000 or its the margin that would be paid as tax and if the price falls to say $10000, would he be entitled to a refund?
449  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: US/Euro accountants to minimize bitcoin tax? on: January 09, 2018, 05:58:29 PM
Does anyone know of anyone who specializes in this as the Swiss bank industry used to? And assuming multiple citizenships, does that make any difference? Someone I know has an EU passport and a US passport available, but the US passport is going to the garbage bin in a few years (to avoid taxes, and for other reasons).

Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.
Even undocumented immigrants citizens pay taxes because its deducted from their income before payment how much more a citizen who is well documented. Another thing you need to know is that taxes arises on where the individual is resident and not its country of origin which means denouncing your citizenship does not exclude you from tax. Just find the accountant that would help you in tax planning rather than looking for ways to evade it.
450  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SetEscrow - Secure escrow for the cryptocurrency world on: January 09, 2018, 05:19:37 PM
yesterday i use this service.  It's been 15 hours already and I still have not received my coins from this site.
support does not answer. I know for sure that this service is connected with www.coinpayments.net

Scam?

How can you not find out the latest info about a service before using it despite the fact its attached to a reputable service out there considering that its been long its being inactive. Even human being if I want to deal with you with one week interval, I want to still be sure that you are the same person I dealt with because people change in matter of hours not to talk of days. This announcement thread was done since 2016 with little activities up to this time. Just try the options given by the poster above.
451  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Getting A Loan Using Cryptocurrencies As Collateral on: January 09, 2018, 03:33:39 PM
Hi Everyone! I'm a wholesale loan broker and one of my lenders is now doing loans against most cryptocurrencies. This means you can use your cryptocurrency as collateral for a loan. You can reply or send me a private email to dylan@jdconsultingco.com for me details. Minimum loan size is usually $5mm and I can get up to $500mm in funds. Interest rate is typically 3-5% with the availability to loan up to 65% of your cryptocurrency value.

PS: I know new accounts that usually post stuff like this are usually scammers. I promise I'm not a scammer, and I do whatever to show that I am a legitimate business.

Thanks!

-Dylan

You promise? And that is what we are going to rely upon then trust you with my crypto currency? Now come to think of it, how do you intend to transfer $5M in fiat to another person without raising issues. I guess this is just pure waste of time because I don't see myself taking this. Minimum of $5M? that is way too high and even if I have crypto worth that value, I would rather sell than to use it as collateral. Do you even bother to study how funds are borrowed here? I am sure if you study it, you will understand this wont work.
452  Economy / Securities / Re: ☘ ☘ ☘ Cannabis Stocks 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 on: January 09, 2018, 01:19:58 PM
Cannabis may be thriving for some reasons in the world, but for me personally, I wont want to engage in it and its because of the social menace this has done to the society. Over here, its really hard to see someone behaving in an abnormal way without having anything to do with cannabis despite the amount of regulation that surrounds it and even the security agencies that have been set up to tackle such menace. Maybe in the future when its well controlled and regulated, I might change my mind on it.
453  Economy / Securities / Re: What legal options do US citizens have for investing in lending ICO's? on: January 09, 2018, 12:13:22 PM
The issue about the legality of ICO participation at this time is still dicey because from what I have read so far, aside Chinese government that have come loud and clear to ban it, other countries including the US has just sit on the fence and even the ICOs that are expressly refusing US citizens are doing so not because they are against the law but are inferring that they might be against the law because most of the regulations that have been talked about, are mostly generic and not specific to crypto currency. So, until there is a land mark law passed, or big judgement delivered, we all have to wait.
454  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will Bitcoin transations be taxed in all countries in the future? on: January 08, 2018, 10:32:15 PM
Eventually this is what will happen if we all want to use our bitcoin without the fear of getting arrested or prosecuted because as times goes on, the intensity of regulations will be high and the with government forces at her disposal, it might make it difficult to stay without violating the regulation which comes with a stiff penalty but the way out of this is for government to be able to ensure that taxes are being paid and with that, the individual paying the tax is known which covers the KYCs and more money in the pocket of government and its functionaries which is a better scenario that the other option.

456  Economy / Services / Re: Need to retrieve bitcoin WILL PAY on: January 08, 2018, 04:33:28 PM
When you are accessing Blockchain.info, make sure that you are entering your transaction hash correctly in the search box. If your transaction ID appears in URL like this: https://blockchain.info/tx/9593513fc20fe356c7eca3e152f8722de3a0128c805466af05caa05237564f5a then you only need to copy your hashing number which is 9593513fc20fe356c7eca3e152f8722de3a0128c805466af05caa05237564f5a and paste it on the search box.

Sometimes there are also different factors such as a problem in Blockchain.info’s server or the transaction has not reached the Blockchain.info node. If this occurs, please use another block explorer site such as:

Blockcypher.com
Blockexplorer.com
Blockr.io
Blocktrail.com
Bitcoinchain.com
Copy your transaction hash (only the hashing number, not the entire URL) on the search box provided by those block explorers. You may also search your transaction by pasting down your Bitcoin address.

Did you even bother to read what Op posted before you made this post? Because this is not in anyway related to what he is facing currently.

so i sent bitcoin i had in my blockchain wallet to my coinbase wallet. Problem is i copied my bitcoin cash address by accident so i sent bitcoin into a bitcoin cash wallet. Its since been sent and confirmed and its currently just sitting in that wallets address unspent... can anyone help me retrieve it or retrieve it for me, im willing to pay generously.

I have read cases like this before and I think if you search further, you might see something on it but the case I read was in the case of wallet providers who have access to their own private but in this case of Coinbase, I doubt the ability to make that happen because the keys to the account, they are the only ones to provide it. Kindly get to their website and see their explanation concerning situations like this and how to go about it.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather have 100 ETH or have 1M token worth also $100k on: January 08, 2018, 03:11:14 PM

I'm just thinking of whether which token to keep if you are in my shoe right now. Lets say you have 1M token which is worth  $100K but is gradual in the development so yoU have a chance to move your tokens to ETH and to just retain as is. Which would you choose?

It would have done much better if you would have stated the options of the tokens under consideration because that would make one decide effectively but based on the options you have there, I see no reason why someone would pick a nameless coin ahead of ETH and more so a token which might be extracted from ETH itself. ETH is bound to increase so far more development are done on its platform compare to the token that came out of it which might worth that 100k today, but by tomorrow or next month, might not worth that much any longer.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to buy coin on: January 08, 2018, 02:23:06 PM
What is the procedure for Coin purchasing  Huh

Depending on which one you want to buy but first you must have bitcoin and to get it, you have to get it from people willing to sell either from exchange site like coinbase, and others that support fiat to bitcoin or you can try peer to peer site such as localbitcoin.com or paxful.com which you can then buy with your local currency depending on the options suitable to your need. After that, you can then visit any exchange sites to buy any coin of your choice or any ICO site if that is what you intend to invest in.

15 more days ico opened, I can not wait to see the growth of the graft in the foreseeable able to break the crypto market with a very advanced payment system.
maybe this will be the best path for us to use it
Yes, the ICO is around the counting and it remain Weeks2 Day1 Hour43 before the ICO keep off but most people don't know that Graft Network ICO will give them the chance of earning 100x profit because 1 NEM Mosaic grf tokens will be converted into 100 GRF coins once the GRF coins are listed on exchange this Mid January.

Invest before it too late. However by doing that we can both make crypto currency mainstream of payment.
Smiley

The market cap stays the same whether it be 18 million tokens at $11 or 1.8 billion coins at $0.11
The market cap increases or stays the same is not my priority because my priority is the good returns that people who invest into the Graft Project will make at the end of the day.

NOTE: I'm so proud to be part of this promoising Project Smiley

Well you are under the impression of a 100x (10,000%) gain  when tokens are converted to coins which is not true because you get 100x more coins but the price is duluted by 100x

You are actually correct and I think what he was doing was expressing his joy without understanding the mathematical computations behind it but that does not mean the project does not have the potential to reach such height just its not within the time frame he was looking at things to turn out.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash has a future against the Bitcoin ? on: January 08, 2018, 10:27:01 AM
With the Bitcoin being 8 times superior to the Bitcoin cash, what's the future of BCC ? It was supposed to be the new bitcoin, and now it's just one of those bitcoin forks.

Will this disappear and be forgotten ?

The only reasonable answer to curiosities and questions raised by this competition between BCH and BTC caused by the loyalties of both parties that only time will tell which one is superior to which and personally, I don't see BCH winning this battle against bitcoin because the popularity that BCH is enjoying that makes it seems popular is as a result of the milestones that bitcoin has been able to achieve in the face of several difficulties.
