461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 19, 2023, 12:49:44 AM
Anything is an investment, honestly when I first learn about crypto or study crypto the first thing that goes in my mind was forex trading.
And even when I am explaining crypto or Bitcoin to other I still used forex to make it easier for them, I compare crypto into forex and they would also agree.
The only difference is Bitcoin and other crypto are decentralized while forex are all centralized.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: July 18, 2023, 01:38:11 AM
I am putting every drop of my excess money into Bitcoin and trying to keep it till the next halving,
Hoping that this could be another one to create a new ATH or even just be close to the current ATH price.
I want to accumulate as early as possible before it starts to fly high again, and I know that we would see so many insane speculation about the price again when it starts to go high in an insane speed.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 17, 2023, 01:45:18 AM
It would depend on what move I want to make,
If I am about to liquidate then of course I would like to have a bull market to maximize my profit.
But if I want to invest then I would like it to be on the Bear market to have a huge discount on my investment.
They are both great in their own terms we just need to accept them and use the opportunity that the market is making or giving us.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: July 16, 2023, 02:06:52 AM
Separate your funds into two wallets.

Cold storage for holding BTC's that you don't want to spend anytime soon, this wallet should either be a hardware wallet or an Electrum wallet on an air-gapped device.

Hot wallet for holding BTC's for spending, funds in this wallet should be at least < or = $100, funds in this wallet would be for spending or for daily expenses. Dca is a great way to accumulate BTC's in your cold storage and whenever funds in your hot wallet goes down, you can 'refill' it for spending. This will help you to get the optimal balance between spending and holding.
Yes this is the most effective way for me to hold my crypto,
I would use my online wallet (Trading platforms, exchange or any type of online wallet) for those crypto that I would be using for transactions such as trading to earn more and crypto that I could easily liquidate.
I would then send of some portion of my earnings to my hardware wallet (Crypto or non-crypto earnings) to secure it and hold it for as long as I want or until the price or date that I've set has been met.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: July 10, 2023, 12:07:12 AM
When someone has a particular wallet which he spends Bitcoins from can he be considered a Bitcoin investor?
Or does the term investor refer only to those who hodl Bitcoin?
He is investing in Bitcoin when he bought it and use the wallet so for me he could or should be considered as an investor.
As long as you invested on something no matter how big or small it is, it is still an investment so you are already considered as an investor.
And for time frame I don't think that it is really important as I've mention before as long as you invested on it no matter how big or small your investment it or how long it has been it is already an investment so you are already an investor.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Knowledgeable before Bitcoin investment is very Good on: July 05, 2023, 03:47:12 AM
Knowledge is power, and I believe that it is true if you are knowledgeable you know how to handle most things or events, and that also includes in crypto or investment.
In order to be successful we have to learn how to manage our investment and when to trade our asset, so it is important to know more before investing and to avoid being scammed.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 28, 2023, 01:16:39 AM
Let's just make it simple, there are people who are professional or gifted in this kind of things.
They understand it more than the average gamblers does it is not just in gambling you could say in every profession there are some who excel in their choice of field.
We couldn't really expect us to be as good as them just because we also do the same thing just think about it there are huge difference between a regular player and a pro player, I mean not just in gambling but also in other games as well, you could easily see the difference in skills and controls and that is why they are different from us.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: June 26, 2023, 11:34:20 PM
This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
Have a break from time to time, it is important to let your brain stop and consider.
Avoid drugs / drink as much as possible, they will make you loose some control innevitably.
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue
Have other hobbies be more active to lessen your gambling activities.
Set up a limit on how much or how long you could play, learn to quit when needed or when you reach your limit don't think about extending it just because you are winning or want to win back what you loss.
As much as possible hang out with friends who wouldn't consider or drive you into gambling.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 25, 2023, 10:54:53 PM
People are saying that gambling is not good so nobody should involved themselves in it. Fathers/Mothers (parents) are shouting to their sons and sometimes beating them all because of gambling. If you are a gambler, the society sees you as a bad boy or person or a waste person in the family. Parents would be saying "look at your age mates, they are going to school and become a successful persons in the society, you are here playing gambling". They would even say, gamblers steal and thieves.
And really when you look at some of those boys they play Draft game morning till evening. Upon all these allegations against gambling. People are still Gambling. WHY? Is There Any Mystery Behind?
Gambling have an age restriction just like other vices, if you're underage you should really give up on it and focus on studying.
There is a reason why vices have an age restriction and it is because adults could control their self on it, I am not saying all adults and that is why we have those who we called addicted to it.
Just thinking about it even if those mature people could gets addicted and destroyed their future due to those vices what more would it do to those young ones who still couldn't stand on their own?
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: June 21, 2023, 12:15:55 PM
Back when I was an active gambler I would choose the crypto with lowest fee that the site support or use.
I want to maximize the profit by paying with less fee when withdrawing or play more because of low fee transaction coins.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 20, 2023, 12:14:06 PM
For me they are both to blame on this circumstances,
The gambler wouldn't be in debt if he just walked away when he lost his own money.
And the agent should also be aware of the situation and evaluate it base on how much the gambler is earning and how long it would take for them to pay.
As an agent you should know if your gambler could really pay ot off before letting them borrow.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 19, 2023, 10:06:56 PM
If it is against their ToS I don't see any reason why I would put my money or account in danger to use it.
If you don't like their ToS there are so many other casino out there so why not try other site that could provide you with what you are looking for.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy father's day to Satoshi Nakomoto on: June 19, 2023, 12:16:55 PM
Wellwe don't even know the real gender behind the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto".
Who knows maybe it is a large group or even a woman just like to hide behind that name.
But we are all happy for the successful creation that Satoshi left behind for us.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: June 18, 2023, 11:14:56 PM
Well honestly yes there are times that I would blame others for my loss specially if the game really needs my focus and alertness, for those kind of gambling I would surely blame the one's who would distract me of course not in a harsh way sometimes I would joke about it to make them aware that I need to focus on the game.
But in reality we all know that it is just a game of luck and we played it so we don't really have the right to blame others for it.

476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: June 16, 2023, 10:52:14 PM
Bitcoin or Crypto would surely be hurt whenever a big player or company goes down,
Just imagine how many traders are using it and we could assume some of them only got into crypto because of trading and it is their only trusted trading site, for sure some of those would quit while others would look for alternative.
The impact would surely be felt but I think it could only be for a short time.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 16, 2023, 12:12:22 PM
Although I still studied, I invested a small amount in Bitcoin. I will get married if I get a good job. Many people give many things to their wives as wedding gifts, I have a different plan. I am planning to gift bitcoin to my wife on her wedding day. Bitcoin is still illegal in my country so I invested with caution. On my wedding day I want to gift half of my investment to my wife.
Should I gift bitcoin to my wife? I want your advice
As you've mention Bitcoin is still illegal in your country so why would you give her something that could put her in danger?
I know that you just want to make it unique but we should also consider the receiver does they want the gift that we would give them? would they appreciate it just like how they would appreciate normal gifts or how would they feel about it?
If your wife doesn't know about crypto or Bitcoin I think she wouldn't really appreciate it much.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: June 15, 2023, 09:50:57 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?
If I could earn more on trading while the market is having a bull run then I would gladly do it.
The problem with market movement is that it is hard to predict if it would continue to move up or down, that is why most of the traders who couldn't read or analyze the market tends to hold their coins.
I am not saying that those who are holding their coins doesn't know how to analyze or read but some of them do it because they couldn't make a choice since they don't know what would happen next.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: June 15, 2023, 12:24:42 PM
If it would surely bloom them what's the rush?
If it could steadily grow and secure it's place in the future then I don't really care if it would take years as long as the project would survive and grow.
Bitcoin took years to grow so don't expect that alt coin could do it in just a short spam of time.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 15, 2023, 11:08:52 AM
Only those who invest without proper knowledge could consider this as a gambling but those who study and analyze it call it as trading.
There is a huge difference between gambler and trader when it comes to crypto investment, trader's have skills and invest thorough chart reading while gamblers are the one's who invest through news or FOMO.
