461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Visa Takes on Crypto with Solana and USDC on: September 07, 2023, 12:26:25 PM
That’s somehow interesting news to the ears. I never thought VISA would partner with existing chains to run their projects. I find it somehow ambiguous as to why they can’t have their own on chain projects to speed up the transactions. As far as data is considered VISA and MasterCard are the foremost players when it comes to instant payment settlement. Both of them are competing so it could be prime reason for VISA to make such bold move. If they get backed up with Solana then definitely that crypto coin is going to see its golden days really soon. This news does need more digging and valid docs to study further. Great share mate.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: Good and Bad at the same time - Mega entities hold $ 14 billions in Bitcoin on: September 07, 2023, 11:55:35 AM
This was a bad thing in past because we were worried big companies/holders could crash Bitcoin singlehandedly. But I think this is not issue anymore because Bitcoin is lot more based. It became part of global economy with millions of users. In such worrying dump, many people that uses Bitcoin would be part of buying list. So honestly it's just nothing to worry anymore. Bitcoin has proven value that will make people keep buying and using.

Yes the course has changed a lot over the period of time and it’s various applications industry wide are suggestive that it’s not going to be easy to be manipulated by single entity. Just realised someone made a good point about how it is not the money of single entity but belongs to various users. Though I disagree with the fact that it could be in the possession of the entity were they keeping the money. However it’s again the melodrama about who has got the more power and it seems even the most powerful entities won’t be able to move the market as it’s even more rigorous volume out there.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jakarta is in a pollution emergency, Is it caused by crypto mining? on: September 07, 2023, 10:56:47 AM
What a great timing from pollution activist who are blaming the crypto mining as the factor to cause pollution in Indonesia.

So what they were using a decade ago? Solar energy and wind power to power up their cities? That’s funny allegation because pollution doesn’t happen overnight. I highly doubt there are enough mining industries in Jakarta that can actually cause concerning pollution in the area. So many things just does not add up in the given statement. They better triple check how did that happen. May be someone turned on the oven and left the door open.  Roll Eyes
464  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 06, 2023, 04:34:34 PM
If you look at the current number of users, there are more than 50 million registered FreeBitcoin users, a number that large might have very little opportunity to get the main prize from the free spins, at least don't let me get old before I get 10,000 from the free spins or maybe of course my son who continues my account there is luckier to get it, but does freebitcoin still last that long, lol

The total number of registered users on the site doesn't impact your opportunity to win the top prize from free rolls. Nevertheless, I agree that the coveted 10k on the screen is a great rarity, and I would even say that it is an unattainable goal for those who don't press the roll button hourly. As for how long freebitcoin will exist, it is worth noting that freebitcoin has already existed for ten years, and it seems to me that this site will exist and develop as long as bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are relevant.
Yes, I believe that of the 50 million users, they are not actively turning the round every hour, sometimes there are those who only register but do not continue their free BTC claims every hour, I have a new referral but they are not really actively playing rotating the free round, As usual everyone always wants to make money that is fast and easy especially big, people like that are usually lazy to work.

Btw I know as long as Bitcoin is still there, of course Freebitcoin will still be there and provide free BTC for all new and old communities to stay active on this site, so why there is always hope for me to get 10000 from the free round, although not today there isn't Those who know can be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, always optimistic and believe that luck will definitely come on time. Cheesy

Ah the referrals. I ran a campaign on few micro tasking sites so that users can register under my referral link and I will start earning ton of shares with them. However as anyone would guess these users are just there to get money that we pay for signing up. As much as I have invested and got the returns from that referral was let us say around 30-40% success rate. I think it is still good considering what I am investing into it as compared to the future Timeline.

However, it is impressive how freebitco is keeping their site highly stable even though there are millions of users on the site. Anyways my stakes are on premium membership and earning WOF.
465  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: September 06, 2023, 01:01:03 PM
Good to see a casino with their own currency. What I understand from the discussion, the JET is your own currency with valuation at one USD? Wow you must keeping it as stablecoin and distribute the same to players. Is it like just internal currency or are there any chances of it getting listed on an exchanger for public trading?

What I see from the utility is it can be good for holding. Just like FUN that is affiliated with bunch of promotional activities on freebitcoin, I am seeing JET as potential player here.

Rest of the things, well everything seems perfectly carved. I wouldn’t say many things as there are no trials yet but it does look impressive and promising. Good luck and hope you sow the best of it.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: Is market manipulation a common occurrence everywhere? on: September 06, 2023, 12:03:44 PM
I think it’s fairly possible. However in case of Bitcoin it seems fairly impossible. The market is really big and whatever money is in the hands of individuals isn’t enough to move the market price. The money flows in billions of dollars everyday. The decentralised nature definitely prohibits individuals from making any moves that can cause market to fall or move upwards with the intentions of manipulating it.

On the other hand it can be opposite when the market is centralised. The shares are always limited by the holding company. There could be chances of insider trading. Sometimes it could be the entity itself or sometimes it could be individual with high stakes in an entity. Different nature of market different ways to manipulate.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Blockchain on: September 06, 2023, 11:31:42 AM
I am pretty sure we are still way away from real world application of the blockchain. Consider this, we are surrounded by information technology field that means there is huge space for blockchain to inject itself into our world. The given stats are amazing for sure and can make things even better run in the future. Though I am not sure if we will have the technological advancement or not because as far as the current situation is considered we are only seeing blockchain used for data storage and integrity purpose. It could limit the usage in the future if we want to grow the applications of blockchain then they definitely need to revisit the codes!!
468  Economy / Economics / Re: What has really been behind china's economy on: September 04, 2023, 05:48:42 PM
China is a mechanistic nation which reduces its citizens to human labor. It's totally different from the occident where emotions and feelings are valued and people are sensitive and butthurted for minor reasons. It's much simpler to manage an economy composed by robotized humans instead of unstable and demanding humans.

Though it is true that human labor is the key for China, there is the other side where automation also runs at full capacity within China. Another important aspect is outsourcing. This is not done by China but the entire global network depends on China's power of acting as a contract-based entity meaning everyone manufactures from China and they assemble within China. Imagine the amount of money they get from other nations. They produce cheap and other nations need to pay the tax toll all the time. No wonder why they also turned into deflation this time.

Things are getting worse for ever nation out there. China is one mysterious country with the truth hidden all the time.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Half of the People in Turkey Now Own Crypto on: September 04, 2023, 04:51:14 PM
Yo what? That’s definitely another messed up survey answers from small group as mentioned in the article.  It means literally nothing as long as there is door to door survey and asking every personnel whether they own the crypto or not. That’s the real figure that I will believe if they ever do physical survey like that.

These digital media’s and micro site based surveys are not truthful. I am working part time on micro tasking site and see all the type of survey providers. The users would do anything to get qualified for the survey. Sometimes a male 21 years old might just be feeling profile of 40 years old. It’s completely messed up data and can’t be trusted.
470  Economy / Gambling / Re: Richy.casino - iGaming & Sports Betting. 💰up to $20k deposit bonus, free spins on: September 04, 2023, 04:15:25 PM
Welcome to the forum guys. It’s good to see you guys already have developed various instruments for your casino. You have tailored Website, mobile site, android and iOS mobile app too!! That itself shows lot of work up in the background.

It seems your jurisdiction is curacao and I am wondering most of the casinos are actually from that region itself. Not sure why is that so but it seems they are very crypto friendly and gambling friendly. Good for us as we get to see new casino all the time.

The last casino that I welcomed had ABC bonus but after looking at your bonus of 150% plus free spins I am getting attracted to yours more now. Good strategy. However, trust building is the one process that is priority always.

Hope so you make one of the best in the list on this forum soon. :-)
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to use Cup and Handle Pattern on: September 03, 2023, 12:21:04 PM
That’s good to know and learn however I never understood how this can help us in the future predictions. Or this is not for the price prediction at all? I always wonder how the charts are that much relevant when analysis the future prices. For example, how would I know what scale to look at when I am plotting the so called cup and handle type of pattern or basically any type of patterns?

If someone want to convince this then has anyone tried plotting the said pattern on the old data and that resulted in predicting the correct future pattern?

For example, for demonstrations purpose or learning purpose has anyone ever tried this on old data? Does it work?
472  Economy / Economics / Re: Blackrock invest in ukraine on: September 03, 2023, 11:48:25 AM
The only country that is going to benefit from this war is the country that is providing ammunitions. As discussed above US is the big player in the whole scenario. None of the European nor the Asian countries matter here. Everyone is having their own businesses underway. BlackRock is being courageous about this type of investment because they have that much financial backing and with the war getting over they will have settled based for sure.

However, I am surprised how they do know that war will be over soon? It’s a war and there is no fixed timeline for the war ever. It could go on forever also.

This is definitely smelling bad in terms of good intention behind this investment. BlackRock is right now in the stage of “Never let them know your next move” sort of situation.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency restrictions in some countries is a blessing in disguise. on: September 03, 2023, 11:13:39 AM
It is definitely going to have effect since we are very curious species and we always want something different or better than what we have. Even on personal level I am choosing bitcoin over gold investments. Initially I had this craze about buying the digital gold through wallet apps. You could buy as low as 10-20 cents and accumulate it over the time. Now someone who isn’t into bitcoin would never understand the importance of same. However, when I entered bitcoin space it made me think both of them can be bought in chunks but Bitcoin is way better in many senses. It’s volatility actually gives me more space to breath and earn more profits as I move further clearly.

On a national level it’s obviously that everyone has their own opinions and choices. But it is evident that they are choosing Bitcoin. It could be slow process but it’s seeding everywhere. :-)
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: September 03, 2023, 10:04:55 AM
managing total risk per platform is definitely a smart strategy
if you care about privacy too them opting for casinos without kyc is a good ideia though you probably won't find many or will find more with lower volume than the big ones.
what are other strategies you usually use?
and yes there are only few of Non KYC casinos now because of government as this leaves them no choice but to brace the regulations ,so if that is the only option then what should they act?
but my strategy is mostly limiting my funds to spend because for me that is the safest way at least to prevent everything that is not necessary .
Well, if the law states that you have to have KYC to operate as a casino then you have to get that information, that's just how it is. There are a few, even at the very top, that do not ask for it straight up and only ask for it when something happens but I have to say that's going to be a troublesome thing on the long run.

I think it's quite important to remember that we are talking about a situation where it's out of casinos hands to ask for it or not, if they do ask for it then they can exist, but if they do not ask for it then they will be basically considered as a illegally managed casino and the governments will be after them. I think gambling being illegal is a tough decision, I still think it should be legal.
It is necessary for these casinos to abide the law to be able to get a license, that includes asking for KYC. We don't want to play on a casino without license, right? Because that means they're not operating legally. Thus, it's quite common now for a centralized casinos to ask their players to verify their identity. Though some of them (as you've said) don't ask beforehand and will just do it after something happened or you win huge and exceeds the withdrawal limit to be ask for kyc.

Nevertheless, it's understandable if many gamblers still don't like this idea but that's how it is, if you want to continue playing then expect this procedure will be ask sooner or later.

Looking at the deep discussion about KYC and also the non-ending one, those who have issues with the KYC should either quit gambling or maybe they should go and play at l-a-s v-a-g-u-s.  Grin No one will identify you but only few thousands peeps will be watching you play at the casino, or may be you getting nicely recorded on the CCTV footage of the casino. If you end up winning huge amounts of money then either someone is going to notice you now and then and end up with new friends!

What is better? Sitting at home in your comfort chair and doing KYC that will also be recorded with legal process and will never ever be looked at again ever unless something mysterious happens at your end or may be at the gambling site end. May be I will prefer the second one and keep up with KYC. Oh wait its already done and looks like everything is fine for me.  Wink
475  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: September 02, 2023, 04:42:07 PM

Snip~
But the big question is, is the winning ratio equal to the loses ratio?

This is what every gambler should look at each time before taking any decision to make any further attempt to make an extra bet because most of the time what makes a bet a waste is the amount of money we lose in the process.

Some of the few games we won were done out of scepticism and at that we failed to stake an amount that could help us to recover,  or even make extra gains that could cover up for all the losses so ultimately some bets are total waste.

I have simple formula to understand this. The bets that are getting to waste are nothing but the house edge of the casino. I mean you only keep losing until House edge is not in effect and until you do not end up profiting yourself. If you are continually losing the bets and never reach even initial amount of investment then definitely this is going to be complete waste of bet. The only way to keep it up is through playing smaller amounts, gaining profits and stopping the bets right there. Once done a new session shall be started on different time of the day or possibly on another day itself. This is important because these break cycles can help a lot to keep oneself active and winning all the time. More Break Less Waste of Bet. Smiley
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 02, 2023, 03:51:30 PM

- Do you honestly think running a prediction game (run with my own funds) would attract genuine interest in this and not just shitposting quota?
- Would let's say 1-2 mbtc (per event, about one or two per month) be enough for people here to at least open a few links and take a look at what hoses are running and what their timeform is?
- Is anyone here actually gambling on horse racing?

I went for higher studies in England back in 2012. Ahh, what a country. I was in New Castle and used to travel to University of Sunderland. It was the Chester road that caught my eye with William Hill and Coral. Both of them were popular amongst us and we used to spend plenty of time on weekends to bet on cricket, play roulette.

However, I would like to point out my experience that is related to this post. There were many many old peeps that used to sit and bet on the horse racing and greyhound racing. As you would guess I did ask one of them how do you play it. They said you gotta know the horse and the player who rides it. Then only it is possible for you to understand who’s gonna win the game. At least predict that more accurately with that info. They even had news papers with them, I’m sure they must have studied it. I had more fun betting on other games rather than horse racing because simply I did not understood the game.

So I am not really sure if this game is going to be very popular amongst the other game loving peeps or perhaps the youngsters.
477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 02, 2023, 11:25:06 AM
I remember when this is just started as how simple the entries was, but now? looking at those skills are truly amazing that looks professional works.
I have been following their contests from the beginning too and I observed a mix of simple and complex entries in all contests which most probably won't change at any point in the future.

Some of those simple entries are magnificent while some professional entries are boring. It's all very subjective at the end of the day.

Yeah the past experience suggest something similar. I have myself seen and observed that some of the arts have all the efforts put into them. Some of them are just vague entries with no intentions of winning or just trying it anyways with the thought that if they win then they win otherwise they do just enjoy the participation. Some of them are very hardcore and always getting into it with full passion and only one goal:- to win it anyhow. Smiley

In any case let’s just take a moment to enjoy it and surf the artist gallery whenever it is fully released. I think Roobets office must be full of these artworks and they already have a museum of it somewhere. Lolz. :-)
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After all these years on: September 02, 2023, 08:42:59 AM
I think Bitcoin was supposed to be limited to your ownership and it is doing that just perfectly. If you look at it on micro level those who are holding bitcoin for financial gains are way happy and also anonymous.

The concept of making it global payment currency is but overstretched. Bitcoin doesn’t need to be global powder for its operation. Even with single miner and 2-3 peers; Bitcoin can sustain its transactional nature. The basic purpose is to have integrity of your transaction and peer to peer system that’s already being followed.

All these concepts of exchangers, having bank collaboration and everything has came in way later.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe Will be first to use Stablecoins and btc crypto on: September 02, 2023, 08:06:25 AM
Even if we consider your theory is right then can you please explain why would they use stable coins as back bone for the euro? What made you to come to that conclusion because it is itself has no basis at all. Just because we have crypto currency around doesn’t mean any government would just jump out of nowhere and start considering stablecoins as the back ups. I mean there are traditional precious things such as gold, oil, or may be treasure like gold bonds and what not. Stablecoins are more dangerous and risky to Back national currency. That’s lot to process like that. Financial ecosystem does not work like that mate.
480  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: September 01, 2023, 09:54:15 AM
If I ever get a ban on any casino, I will simply just stop playing there, no matter how used I've gotten to the casino, there are several other casinos around, I will just pick another, and I am very sure that I will also get used to that new casino after playing there for one week or less.

There are thousands of casinos in the crypto space, and perhaps hundreds of them are reputable. Sure, it's easy for you to find a casino. However, what if you get banned? What if the casino freezes your funds? I think you should also limit your exposure to a certain casino. Just put an amount that you are willing to let go in case things go bad.

It's still important to be aware of the possible consequences once we break the rules so we can easily move on, and go with our 2nd option.

managing total risk per platform is definitely a smart strategy
if you care about privacy too them opting for casinos without kyc is a good ideia though you probably won't find many or will find more with lower volume than the big ones.

but my strategy is mostly limiting my funds to spend because for me that is the safest way at least to prevent everything that is not necessary .

i'm not that sure if non-kyc casinos are rare because of regulations
I think it's probably more because of bankroll and difficulty to do it on-chain, probably it's easier to make it centralized, idk

we're seeing looksrare pivoting from being a nft marketplace to be a gambling platform.
and rollbit grew a lot these past months

Somehow centralised can also make your funds secure if something goes wrong. Like account getting hacked, casino’s getting shut down or maybe if someone scammed each other then KYCed account can actually form the evidences since you will have the history against your financials. If shown time to time in our accounts then it can be tracked.

However, those players who are scared or uncomfortable about sharing their KYC should not chose such casinos at all. Let us say they have privacy concerns or they fear that their KYC can get leaked etc etc. There could be hundreds of reasons.

Centralised or decentralised, a trusted casino can make things easier for us. So just chose and play.
