481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: April 10, 2022, 09:19:41 AM
Unfortunately you can't stop news peddlers from doing what they do best, as long as btc continues to strive and gain popularity, there will always be good and fake news, it is up to the investor to identify and distinguish between the positive and negative news.

I think this days, fud has less effect on people like it use to, people are more wiser and smarter. It doesn't matter what fud are being spread what is important is how you and I react, if we ignore the fud new,  it won't have much effect.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Madeira and Prospera "adopting bitcoin" on: April 09, 2022, 05:08:34 AM
From the video you can clearly hear the presenter saying Madeira will be adopting btc before welcoming the president to the stage to make a statement base on that and the president acknowledge it and said no income tax. They will adopt btc for now perhaps legalize it as legal tender later.
One step at a time, the president looks very happy about btc so I think in the near future there will be more achievement.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are getting stronger, how are you contributing? on: April 09, 2022, 04:42:25 AM
I'm very happy to say here to everyone that our dreams of bitcoin gaining widespread popularity is almost becoming a reality. We all just need to continue playing our part.

I don't know what you mean by 'Almost' because I see a reality of btc mainstream adoption already, it is no longer a dream.
If a country can already legalized btc, some government officials accepting btc, big companies accepting btc and the list goes on, I don't see why the dream is almost when it is already happening.
It is good to see your support through your artwork but btc already pass this stage long ago.  Keep up the good work.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: April 09, 2022, 04:29:08 AM
If most of us use Bitcoin for investment purposes, Bitcoin value will be always volatile, not stable. Except, all of us agree to use Bitcoin for payment tools only, this may lead to a stable price then. Logically, no investors have the intention to see their assets have stable prices, how they can gain profits? Moreover, there are too many whales or big investors in Bitcoin, that's another sign that Bitcoin will exist as a digital investment for a long time. They mostly prefer to hold for years. Another reason, Bitcoin isn't centralized, so it is difficult to control its value around the world.

Absolutely true, without market volatility there will be no entry and exit for investors and no profit making. When the price of btc is down new investors have the opportunity to come in or sell when the price is at the peak.
Right now, people are more interested in making money with btc than paying bills with it.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposals for global shutdown of crypto on: April 08, 2022, 02:42:46 PM
I dont blame bitcoin or any digital asset. I am not anti bitcoin. Bitcoin did not devastate my life.I understand this site is the heart of hardcore dedicated followers. I am here to kill evil. If bitcoins crashing spreads suffering I have an obligation to my fellow humans to adress that problem

Now i can see you need serious help more than i thought.
How do you kill something like btc, something out of your reach! in your mind you think btc is evil and want to kill it, but what if we the supporters of btc won't let you do that?  Tongue
lol, you really are funny, why not wait for a market recovery instead of this fruitless drama, this is what you get buying from ath, but don't despair because good times are coming.  Grin
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposals for global shutdown of crypto on: April 08, 2022, 10:14:41 AM
tell me when your brother is murdered or child abducted that losses are only  in your mind

How is that btc fault?
Did you lose a loved one as a result of btc? Did anyone demand for btc as ransome to free your child?
Maybe when you open up to the community a little more then you can find some peace  Wink  and they will understand the reason for your ranting. Just saying.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: April 07, 2022, 07:19:06 PM
"The more the merrier" hope op is familiar with this, you can't expect to get more from giving less. I hope by now you have understood how the staking process works especially for stablecoins. There are more than enough responses from forum members to give you better understanding of the staking.
If you are not satisfied with what binance is giving, you can check other exchanges, perhaps their's will be better.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful around massive APY projects on: April 07, 2022, 04:57:59 PM
Stay away from projects with insanely high APY, 100,000% to 500,000% APY, you knew what I'm talking about, Titano, Safuu and others, invest but learn to back your initial investment first, all these defi projects are practising ponzinomic scheme. The latest is Safutinano, just know what you are doing.

Don't say 'all these' rather say some of these, because by saying all these it means you are generalising all the defi projects we have in blockchain which is wrong. In fact, it is only greed that will lead anyone to invest in such pointless projects that have nothing to offer than just high apy.
How does those who are jumping into this ridiculousness think the team can sustain the project by giving such huge apy? It is very obvious these are money grabbing projects.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: April 07, 2022, 02:46:18 AM
No bank will even give you that amount of roi per year for $1000. You may see it very small but still better than what local banks will give.
I think around 0.8% for your $1000 monthly is what they offer which is not bad.
There are other platforms which gives higher but you have to be careful. Waves usdn was offering a very high Apr but look at what happened.
The only way to increase you earnings is by increasing your investment, don't expect more than what you are staking.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX, wants to give away 99% of his money on: April 05, 2022, 07:17:59 PM
An admirable and noble act on his part for not wanting to accumulate enough wealth and enjoy all the fine things in life which his money can obviously buy.
Is he going to donate to a charity organisation? That's the most logical way to spread the money across to reach the less privilege.
Am a bit surprised to read this, most people nowadays (especially the rich are always looking for ways to maximize their wealth) it is a generous act I must say.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagine a world without Bitcoin on: April 05, 2022, 07:03:51 PM
As I was reading this title ... I thought of Gal Gadot, singing  Tongue

It is interesting to think that because technology has accelerated so fast in the past couple of decades, something like bitcoin would have seemed futuristic or impossible in the 1970's and 1980's. That said, it is fairly easy to imagine a world of no Bitcoin if you can remember back 20+ years or more .

You don't need to travel that far back to imagine a world without btc because it is pretty easy to imagine now. All you need to do is travel to places where btc is unknown or the mention of it sound foreign then you will get the picture.
Btc awareness is very limited despite all the recognition and popularity it has gained more than a decade. Someday this will happen, btc will be widely used and accepted to the point people will begin to imagine a world with it, what it would be like.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagine a world without Bitcoin on: April 04, 2022, 03:01:33 PM
The world will function normal except the extra benefit people are getting from being a bitcoiner and being part of this forum or any other crypto related forum will not exist. Bitcoin usage hasn't really spread world wild compare to fiat, but am so use to being part of crypto space that i don't think i want a world without it. i think for us who are familiar with this world, it will be extremely boring to not have it.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about Wilder World on: April 04, 2022, 02:20:02 PM
I have invested in this project last year but i have taken my profit and im going out from this project as the development is so slow compared with its competitor called vulcan forged. The hype was big last year but this time this project lose all of its hype due to the slow development progress.

I have heard so many things about this project and in my opinion if this project have a chance to recover back again. I doubt that if the project can grow up again. This is not good for long term.

The development is slow perhaps because of the nature of the game, the concept and scope of wilder world may be more elaborate than vf. Building a game project is not as easy as most of us think, or probably the vf team are faster in handling things than the ww team. i think a year is a short period to judge a project development performance especially gaming project.
As long as the team continue to build the game even if it takes a bit of time, the price will recover back, because of the market condition, most alts are down, wild is not the only affected alts with low price.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please share your opinions about the Bitgert. on: April 04, 2022, 01:50:05 PM
If that is the case shouldn't the price of shib dump hard as a result of whale pulling out to join another project! if the article specifies "WHALES" means more than one and such action from more than one whale can render shib price useless, Except they are not selling their shib bags, just leaving the project to support another.
There is also a possibility the article was over exaggerated, some of this news websites want to capture the attention of readers so they will create an attractive news that you can't ignore.

495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of launchpad projects certain? on: April 03, 2022, 10:03:16 AM
What do you think about launchpad projects? A friend said they fade away with time as some are based on IEO and some use IDO but as time goes by they faded away, is this true?

The launchpad projects are dedicated to incubating new projects and as long as new projects keep coming up and looking to raise funds to develop their projects, I think launchpad  will be around for now. It is possible something new or different will come up in future that will replace them who knows.

Nowadays, many investors use the launchpad platforms to invest rather than direct investment like the ico days. Similarly, most new projects uses launchpad to make fast sales too.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have 5, 12 or even more coins? on: April 03, 2022, 09:39:40 AM
In this case I will go with my selections, probably not included in your list but I think they have the capability to grow more.
Between btc should be among your options.
A combination of alts and btc can be healthy for your portfolio.
And my selection will be -
*70% btc, 30% eth for option 1
*50% Near, 30% luna, 20% sol option 2
It is better to have few good projects with solid foundation.
I choose the above because I like what they offer. NFA.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance coins that can increase in price anytime soon! on: April 03, 2022, 09:18:51 AM
Imo, I would suggest you join platforms launchpad who can identify gems. They know what to look out for and they have the resources to find them. Since you are new in crypto with little or no experience, it is better you stick to using launchpad until you can do it yourself. Binance launchpad, Coinlist are good place to start, but you must note there are certain requirements that need to be fulfilled before you are qualified to participate in their sales. You can search those information from their website.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you see gaming tokens in 5 years from now? on: April 02, 2022, 03:19:57 PM
Like you said, the blockchain gaming space is very new, most of the games are basically trash with the exception of a few. The gaming blockchain has so many opportunities that have not been utilize. There are some big gaming companies already showing interest to build their blockchain games. It is a work in progress, hopefully soon there will be more news on it.

There is no doubt it can be successful when the right projects comes along, I think the major challenges people are facing with p2e is the fact that one must invest good amount to be able to earn, and most of the games are not user friendly. But all these will change once there are good quality p2e games from  real game development companies.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 02, 2022, 11:49:46 AM
~What you need to teach your child is, "don't be greedy". The era of bitcoin is when criminal cases are getting easier to do. Say your child learns bitcoin from an early age, then do you guarantee that they'll use that knowledge for something positive in the future?

Many people learn about btc from adulthood and that didn't stop those who would exploit it to their selfish interest not to do so. Whether learning from early age or as grown-up it all depends on individual mindset to do certain things. If your intention is to use btc for positive outcome, that's what it will be regardless of what age you learn about it.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best staking platform on: April 02, 2022, 11:32:17 AM
Binance as suggested by many seem to be the best option with regards to trust and security but the apy offered is very low and there are limits to what @op can stake, from what I saw on the staking option.

For example - 10 days (10.12%) 200 shib limit.
90 days (1.52%) 1000000 shib limit.
I think it is not worth the trouble staking this coin in binance, having your coins locked for 3 months for this low apy! there are other high apy staking like bsw giving 143.25% for 90 days imo.
