Could be the most nerve wrecking match of the tournament, Nepal U19 beats Afghanistan U19 by 1 wicket. A good fight from Afghanistan on a low scoring match. Nepali captain Dev Khanal did a impressive job with his bat but the final moments of the game were too difficult to watch for everyone. Afghanistani bowlers and fielder did their best to the last balls and were exceptional under such pressure. Both of the Afghanistan team and Nepal were probably better than the 2 lower sides on each group.
The first elimination from the worldcup and it's Afghanistan, though they'll still play for positions. Hope Nepal keeps improving their game in the supersix.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 26, 2024, 03:06:19 AM
For me I hardly play gamble but when ever I play, I spend about $10 in a month while some times I don't even play up to $5 in a month. I am not a too much fans of gambling.  my income is about $150 per month and am always sceptical of playing gamble in other not to be addicted to an extent of becoming a chronic gambler. Because to make yourself one is easy, but to pull out will require struggles.
Using $10 is enough for you to gamble because I see you don't gamble too often, so that amount can already be allocated $10. You have to be able to stay like that because the temptation of gambling is very strong and can make someone who rarely gambles gamble more often. This is what we must avoid when playing gambling because it can cause gambling addiction, which is a serious problem for every gambler who gambles too often. They must be able to restrain themselves from gambling too often so they don't get addicted to gambling.
My monthly income is completely my personal matter. Which I don't want to share with anyone. I think asking someone's monthly salary is rude.
You arent that forced on telling your monthly income or not on which it been stated on OP that it would really be just on estimates. No one would really be able to know your identity
at the first place on just knowing your forum account name. This is why sometimes being that too private could really be something that make you a bit paranoid.  Cheesy

Maybe the OP just want to know how large the individual bets people places in ratio to their monthly salary. That gives a sense of how much risk the person is willing to do.
Calculating my own betting habits, I seem to be using from 0.3% to 1.5% of my monthly dayjob salary on each sports betting. That enables me betting for about 300 consecutive loss if I don't go raging. For other casino games like dice, crash and poker, there's no minimum I start with but 1.5% would be my largest betting ceiling even for other gambling games. Max betting would allow me just 75 bets before my monthly salary is gone. But the my monthly betting budget is limited to 25% of my dayjob salary.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: January 26, 2024, 12:57:07 AM
Some known popular altcoins are eth bnb ada xrp matic etc and so many are available in crypto market where eth bnb is common investment. But i saw some people, buy matic but don't want to go for ada! Some buy xrp but not Interested with solana!

What is the name of that Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore?? Example: i Won't buy TRON(trx) anymore cause it makes me disappointed several time with its stable price since 2017

I have no grudges towards any coin and I might change my mind and buy some if I feel it's worth it. But I now don't have and plan to buy many of top altcoins.
I used to have Ethereum but currently have no plan to holding it. I'm not bullish for this coin considering its state of blockchain.
I hold BNB just to fulfill my gas needs. BNB could be a good coin easily doubling the price but I want the controversies around binance be settled.
I had sold solana in profit a few months ago and I bought some yesterday around 86.
Ripple is the coin I had never held, might have used it for trading on some exchange but never had it bought as an investment or held in non-custodian wallet.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: January 25, 2024, 06:29:52 PM
Solana is said to have one of the largest transaction per second (TPS) among the available L1 and L2 network. That makes it fast which enables quick execution in dapps.
That's why it has an increasing number of dapps on the ecosystem. I just at the moment deposited some SOL on my Solflare wallet to try some dapps. The fees are not low according to the current standard but are still around 1 cents. I'm actually attracted by the offers currently available on new dapps in the ecosystem. How long will the hype remain is just guesses. Solana would be a coin I'll be invested on but it still won't be on my high priority.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 25, 2024, 05:39:37 PM
A few days ago, my house was being cleaned. Three people are cleaning the front and back yards of the house. One of them was playing slots and I saw him. Actually, I wanted to suggest he try sports betting because I often see the guy watching football matches and he does have knowledge about many teams. So I was wondering if I could introduce him to sports betting so he could use his ability to predict every game he knows about.

Besides that, I just feel that if he deposited $10 = IDR 150,000 into a gambling site just to play slots, he would probably suffer a complete loss. But if he can place bets on sports betting, there is a possibility of him winning some money on small bets. Wouldn't that be an advantage for him?

If you were in this situation, what would you do? Introduce him to sports betting or let him stick to playing slots. Yesterday, I just let it go but we still often meet at other activities.

People may have their priorities. And just because you saw him play slots on his phone doesn't me he don't do sports betting. He might be much deeper into sports betting but we can't confirm it by seeing him for few minutes. Slots and Poker gambling are different than sports betting. Games based bet are engaging and are a good way to entertain in your spare time.
Unlike other form of gambling like slots, people don't spend a large time on sports betting and would be rather busy on watching matches live. Sports betting is something you can do easily within a minute on the site if you are following the teams and trends.

India U19 vs Ireland U19 team 15th match India U19 now come out to bat. They scored 41 runs in 11 overs with the loss of 1 wicket.India U19 team batsman Adarsh Singh got out for 17 runs off 33 balls.Adarsh Singh did not perform well in batting today.Arshin Kulkarni scored 16 runs from 30 balls.Musheer Khan scored 6 runs from 10 balls.John McNally of Ireland U19 team took 1 wicket with 18 runs from 3 overs.Oliver Riley gave 6 runs from 4 overs.
India U19 team put up a very good batting performance, with two batsmen being the most patient and reliable to collect 301 runs. Uday Saharan and Musheer khan these two batsmen performed best for India U19 team. Contrasting team Ireland U19 team performed poorly in bowling and batting they are not patient. Three of IrelandU19 players were dismissed for no runs, so they were the batting mainstays and all-rounders were out for short runs. IrelandU19 lost by a wide margin due to the weakness of the team.
As expected we have all big teams at the top with their superior quality and performance with no associate country having enough quality to stop them today we have two matches with both win by big margins India and Australia dominate their games and now allowed their opponents to have anything positive from these games which are clearly showing how things are going for the future as well because after senior teams now we have big difference of quality in associates as well which needs to be cut for the better future of the otherwise things will be not gone in right direction.

We have 300 from India and 296 from Australia and their opponents completely fail to deliver as Ireland bundled out at 100 and Zimbabwe at 71 which are surely worst from them, hopefully we will have something positive about this all in future from ICC and relative boards.

Of the two U19 world cup matches held today, results of both the matches were as expected. Both of the better teams made a comfortable win against the weaker one.
Indian U19 team playing against Ireland U19, made a good score of 301 which when followed by Irish team were all out in 100 runs. A huge 201 runs victory for India.
Similarly Australian U19 team made 296 against Zimbabwe which was all out in mere 71 runs. Yielding a even larger win from Australia.
With this, the top 2 teams for Group C and D are already decided and the game between Namibia and Zimbabwe in group C and Nepal and Afghanistan in group D would be virtual knockouts for those teams.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What memecoins are you holding atm? on: January 25, 2024, 01:16:25 PM
I have had bought and sold many memecoins and even today there are a dozen of coins that has lost it's value and are worth less than the transaction fee.
The memecoin I hold at the moment in large amount in expectation of growth is Popcat. It is a popular meme coin on Solana ecosystem and has a good volume. It has a lower price at the moment. Not sure about the future but considering the uniqueness of the token and growing popularity of solana chain, I have high hopes for it.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ChatGPT Arbitrage MEV - Youtube Scam on: January 25, 2024, 03:22:56 AM
Sad that you got scammed in such a situation. People should be really careful and conservative on how and where they move the coins.
These scammers go to any and every extent to get money out of you. If you are seeing something that shouts easy money, just be more cautious and verify it from different sources before taking an action. Scammers use legit looking youtube channels and URLs to scam gullible people.
Even trading on dex and tokens you should be extra careful. Even if you buy a token on legit exchange, the smart contract of the token can have malicious loopholes to scam you your money.
489  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about the freedom of speech in the USA? on: January 24, 2024, 06:43:01 PM
It applies for all the countries and not only limited to America or Russia. You have freedom of speech until you don't go against the regime, once you start raising your voice against the injustice don't by regime you will be silenced and its happening throughout the world. Nowadays freedom of speech is being misused as well to abuse a particular religion or sect in the name of freedom of speech. I think people need to understand the importance of freedom of speech use it for right reasons instead of harassing, insulting and calling it freedom of speech.

There are multiple factors that affects the tolerance of free speech in every country. Democratic country with less powerful governments are likely to have more freedom of speech and the countries with ruthless autocratic government would have less freedom of speech.
Neither US nor Russia are example of a free society. US used to have a much free society but with the creation of information barrier to the public, punishing any rhetoric that's against the regime and crushing the opposition, it's moving towards the path shown by Russia and China.
I believe in total freedom of speech. When there's healthy discussion there would be a path towards conciliation. Banning the nazi salute might have made it more popular than it could have if not given any special treatment.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to avoid compulsive thoughts related to anxiety on: January 24, 2024, 05:46:20 PM
I've in past been in through a depressive phase due to my act of gambling and I was lucky to have someone who helped me with it, otherwise I'm not sure I'd have been here.
It started as a normal day and with every loss, I increased my betting. The rage betting went on emptying my gambling accounts, online wallets, exchanges and my bank savings. After losing all of it, I was in a shock and denial, slept and woke up in hope of it being all a dream but alas my savings were emptied. I went into a nervous breakdown, anxiety engulfed me. Felt like I was about to die, my heart is pounding hard and I'm having a heart attack. Tried showering but as the water hit my head, I felt like all my nerves on my brain are going to burst. I didn't told anyone about it and I told no-one. But this one particular friend of mind sensed something was wrong with me and came to me and forced out the reality. Sometimes you just need someone who understands you and talks to you out of the anxiety attack.

The 12th, 13th and 14th match of the U19 worldcup is over today. Even though all of the results were as predicted. All of the test playing nations winning over non test playing nations, yet there were some interesting and nerve wrecking moments where even the good teams were at a risk of loosing.
In a low scoring match Sri Lanka U19 gave a low target of 134 for the U19 Namibian team but they failed to chase the target being all out at 56. Supun Waduge alone from Sri Lankan team made 56.
Nepal gave a medium target of 198 to Pakistan and put pressure on the Pakistani team at times but Pakistan won it comfortably with 5 wickets.
Scotland too provided a medium target of 206 which West Indies chased comfortably with 5 wickets remaining.
Tomorrow, there would be two games, first India U19 with Ireland U19 and second Australia U19 with zimbabwe U19 and it's not difficult to guess the favorite ones.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 24, 2024, 01:02:07 PM
Yes Real Madrid have 1 game to play, if the scenario is that they win then they will be above Girona. Apart from all that Girona are amazing because until week 21 they can still maintain their position at the top of the table, it is a great achievement for them.
Real Madrid also almost had a bad result last week, as they were almost held to a draw by Almeria. Luckily they scored in stoppage time to secure the 3 points. I hope Girona can focus on themselves and not be intimidated by the big name of Real Madrid.
Real Madrid have that advantage and they can turn it to a winning and flip over Girona on the ranking table. I believe Real Madrid are able to do this by using their experience to win over Girona in the title competition.

In a long season, Girona have many disadvantage compares to Real Madrid. It will be their big challenge to control themselves and have good strategy to use their resources well through a long season. To win La Liga title, they need to have a general good performance during a season, winning some matches or have some good weeks won't be enough.

Well said. People often compare current lead of Giona to that of Leverkusen in bundesliga but I'm personally quite sure that Real Madrid would have a comfortable lead by the end of the season. Though the team performance of Giona and Leverkusen can be compared but Leverkusen Gameplay is much more advanced and they could be a real challenger for the league. On the other hand I feel like Giona though is surely a good team, lags behind quality performance from real Madrid. The rise of Giona at la liga is also due to the poor performance of other top teams this year, like Barcelona and Atletico.

•14th match Pakistan U19 vs Nepal U19
Pakistan U19 team and Nepal U19 team are  group "D" of 2024 World Cup where Pakistan is at number two and Nepal at number three in the points table. Originally Nepal U19 team was bottom in this group before Afghanistan team was ahead of them but Afghanistan team played their two matches and they lost both as a result, Afghanistan U19 team is now at the bottom of the group.
In Men ICC Under 19 World Cup, one match Nepal U19 sqaud against squad Pakistan U19 is ongoing on crease and in this match Pakistan U19 squad seem strong sqaud then Napal U10 squad. First batting inning was finished and Nepal U19 squad was completed this inning and thei performance was not good just normal defeating target. After playing 50 overs, Nepal U19 squad successfully collected 197 scores with lost of all batters. Nepal U19 batting inning, Bipin Rawal batter was played very good inning and collected good scores but Pakistani U19 squad bowler Arafat Minhas wiped out him form crease after he had collected 39 scores off 68 deliveries. Arafat Minhas bowler performance in this match was incredible because he picked three good batters of Nepal U19 sqaud. Same situation occured with another batters of Nepal U19 sqaud who was scoring well and but got out. Let's see who Pakistani squad batters displayed their batting inning on crease and also secured their victory in this match.

The most remember-able thing on the game between Nepal U19 and Pakistan U19 was that 5 runs run. The pakistani fielder did their best to save a 4 but in the meanwhile Nepali batsmen were able to run five times. Nepal had always been agile on crease and the field and 198 is a defendable target. Nepal's wicket kept coming and they were not able to build up a good partnership.
Pakistan have started their batting slow but they haven't conceived any wickets. Nepal would need quick wickets coming if they want to keep themselves in the game. Once the Pakistani batsmen are set, the target is easy for them to achieve. Even they lose, they would be happy to drag the game till the last of overs as both the underdog teams in the group, Nepal and Afghanistan would hope for wining the game between themselves as their prime motive.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The need to control your emotions as a football fan. on: January 24, 2024, 01:30:38 AM
Football sure is a fast paced and entertaining game. As every games there are win and loss, there's no reason for the fans to fight for the result of the game.
I know it would be emotional and probably financial reasons for them to get angry but destroying public property and attacking other people and the police is not justified.
As we look closer, fan violence is common worldwide, even in Europe where high level football is being played every day. Such violence has killed and injured multiple of people every year. The escalation has lead to large disasters. It's a bad thing to consider fan violence as football culture, football advocates of fraternity not violence.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can AI Games Break Through in Crypto? on: January 23, 2024, 04:46:51 PM
AI would certainly have an impact on both crypto and gaming. And with the use of AI, we may finally strike a balance between gameplay and use of crypto or onchain contracts when it comes to gaming. The reason why most of the crypto games failed is due to its user based gathered in expectation of in game profits than entertainment that it offers.
The traditional game makers have still not embraced crypto at least within gaming. With the rise in automation and automatic generation of content using AI, blockchain tech could work as a human interference less way of managing AI generated content on popular games. The potential of AI on crypto is still to be seen and I believe it would have a positive impact.

ICC Under-19 World Cup 10th Match Group B South Africa Under-19 vs England Under-19. In today's 10th match, South Africa under 19 team batted first after losing the toss. South Africa Under 19 team players did not perform well in batting. All wickets of the South Africa Under-19 team fell before the 50 overs of the first innings were played, and at 230, the first innings stood. I think with a score of 230 runs, it will be very difficult for South Africa U19 to win the match against England U19. Because in the second innings game, the bowling line of the bowlers of the South Africa under 19 team does not look good. South Africa Under-19 bowlers have bowled 28.3 overs so far. Apart from only 2 wickets by England U19 in 28.3 overs, South Africa U19 bowlers failed to take any wickets. In the second innings, the opposition England U19 batting line-up very good. However, the batsmen of England under 19 team are batting very slowly. England U19's score so far, 137-2 (28.3 runs). But unfortunately after England U19 batted in 28.3 overs, the match was stopped by rain. This match has now been stopped due to rain interruption.  Now if the rain clears soon we can enjoy the match again

If the game starts again with DL method, it would significantly boost the chances of England winning but otherwise it's a level game between South Africa and England U19 to this period.
The more interesting match was between Afghanistan U19 and New Zealand U19. Afghanistan were packed up in a low score and it was predicted to be an easy chase for the kiwis. But they kept losing wickets and just were able to reach the target of 92 at the loss of 9 wickets. One consecutive wicket and New Zealand would have lost. The competition for the 3rd place on each group are going to be a tough one as the top 2 are easily predictable.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: The world's logic favours income makers, not the savers on: January 23, 2024, 04:46:41 AM
People usually have the illusion that by saving money they are making a great deal, while in fact, the truth is that to save is nearly to useless when thinking on achieving financial progress in life. An independent middle class citizen, without the burden of a family on his back, can save enough money to buy the car of his dreams or the property he always desired living on, since he is commited to these goals, making a lot of effort and cuts on his expenses in order to accumulate enough money for that.

It's not easy, but not impossible, anyway. However, even though the system allows him to achieve those purchases, it doesn't allow him to maintain the patrimony and vehicle, because to possess such goods, someone has to pay yearly taxes to the government. The more expensive your car is, the higher the tax you are going to pay. The more expensive your house is and the best localized it is, the higher will be the tax to be paid.

To have to pay an annual tax for something you own and paid with your own money to possess is ridiculous...

This evil rigged system never allows a middle class hard working person to reach too further on improving his life standards. If he doesn't have a large income, he won't reach anywhere. To be a disciplined saver along decades of his life isn't enough.

Moral of the story: don't save money for more than one month. As soon as you accumulated some amount of fiat, put it into an investment and make it generate passive income for you, although you should avoid banking investments, since they usually pay below the inflation. Go for Bitcoin and assets when there isn't enough money to invest in something bigger. There is no assurance you will defeat the evil rigged system which smash common citizens, but at least you will be trying to overcome it...

Truly said. Keeping money on banks are actually a loss as it doesn't beat the inflation most of the time.
Investment are the way to go and in case of emergency, there are liquid investments that could give you instant cash. Though you would not achieve your investment goals, emergency is something unpredictable and rare.
Investment should be diversified and most of it should be on low risk sectors. You should only try new and risky things with money you can afford to lose.
The goal should be getting a good passive income stream you can depend on. Work hard while you can and retire from your day job as early as possible. Investment management is a life long work and when you have money, you can employ people to do most  of it.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zcash, pirate chain, monero, prcy, which is the best coin for future of privacy? on: January 23, 2024, 03:58:13 AM
Monero (old struggling to keep up and stay private these days)

Not really. Can you point to an instance where a regular Monero transaction has been de-anonymized? And I'm not talking about via using data kept by centralized exchanges.

Monero is the synonym for privacy. It's the most used coin in darkweb. Other alternatives are not actually in use and some like zcash has documented vulnerabilities. I have no idea about what new techs are cooking on the privacy sector but monero has been a leader for quite some years and would continue to be in foreseeable future.
Privacy based coins might not be the ideal thing for normal investors or traders to deal with. As it would get more difficult to redeem then in and out in the future.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best ETH L2 network? on: January 23, 2024, 03:15:59 AM
Talking about the best L2 network above Ethereum Chain, it's no doubt BSC is the leader. They have the most users, most dapps and most volume locked.
But they are old and has their own disadvantages and there's a fierce competition from new generation L2 networks and it's just a matter of time for BNB chain to be absolute.
Among the new comers, the most promising which already has deployed dapps is zksync, they have theoretically the best technology to lead the future of on chain transaction. And they blow away all of other L2 options currently on use. It don't mean they'll be the ultimate winner as the competition would keep on increasing as new technology are applied.

Another La Liga game tonight between Atletico Madrid and Granada was a competitive one. Even though Atletico Madrid won by 1-0, there were plenty of good shots on goal by both the team. Impressive performance by both the goal keepers specially from Batalla from Granada in the home ground of Los Carmenes. A couple of offside goals, a couple of pole shots and at a time, Atletico defender heading away a Granada shot by goal line. Overall the result made no large difference and Granada is still in line for relegations.
