481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: November 19, 2023, 08:32:25 AM
^^^^so to make up for decreasing buys, promoters raise the price for viewers which further limits their audience.

That might not be a good strategy in my opinion. Perhaps their target audience is very limited, considering they're raising the price of PPV subscriptions. Wouldn't it be better if they had more subscribers at a lower price? I mean, volume or pricing can make a fight more profitable. This way, others who can't afford the PPV price won't resort to looking for illegal streams. If that becomes rampant, it could affect the future of PPV subscriptions.

It's bad, and with what the current world economy is doing, everyone is really trying to save their money and this could be one reasons why there are a lot of fights that are not really making money in terms of PPV.

And if they increase the price then most likely boxing fans will have to retort to other methods of watching the fight, it could be some streams somewhere or even in some platform like Facebook wherein there are individuals too streaming high profile fights. But I do agree that this could be one reason that after many years, Sho suddenly shuts down their business because they are not making money anymore. So I doubt that the PPV that Manny and Floyd did before can be broken.

I'm not sure if it's because of the cost or if people just aren't as keen on shelling out for PPV these days. There's this other avenue where folks can catch the fight online for free....you know, those illegal streams that are all the rage now. If someone can get a link, they get to enjoy the fight without dropping a dime. Bumping up the PPV price might be the promoters' solution. Even with the increase, the folks who are really eager to watch would still be willing to spend over the cash. I mean, these are the folks who aren't really feeling the grasp of the economic struggle.

There are fans who even went to watch the fight live, and buying tickets in the thousands, and willing to spend that kind of money. So maybe there are still fans that can buy PPV, but obviously the numbers are going down since we went back to norm. We can't take into account that it's expensive for the majority of boxing fans, $70-$80 and up? that is exorbitant for a fight in my opinion. Unless it's really a great fight and there are hype around it.

But in this fight, there's none, both as we have observed, are respecting each other, so it didn't add up to the hype that most boxing fans are looking. At least a good storyline to begin with. So it's really hard to see how much this fight is going to made in terms of PPV numbers and it could be way below expectations. Plus as you have said, there are a lot of illegal streamers right now that are taking a cut on the profits.
482  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account Frozen Due to Suspicion of Money Laundering on: November 19, 2023, 08:01:28 AM
My account with  Bitmart amounting USDT 74k was frozen due to suspicion of money laundering.
I was trying to withdraw $4k and the withdrawal was rejected. Then I received
an email from customer support that my account was suspected for money
laundering.

I was given 72 hrs. to deposit a 100% equivalent of my assets ($74K) to verify my account
which is obviously a scam. Instead of asking me to provide proof of source of income, they
want me to add more money.

Damn, that's the classic scam trick, in any case this is very similar to, [SCAM REPORT] Bitmart.com SCAM, stolen over $100k.

In any case, not bursting the bubble to the OP, but I doubt that you can get back your money from this scam site or if you fall for a phishing sites. And as per trustpilot, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.bitmart.com, they don't have a good review.

Just interesting though if you can show us the screenshot of the website so that we can warm others as well.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's Raking in This Fee on: November 19, 2023, 07:16:39 AM
Hey there, could you help me out with this question? So, when we send Bitcoin from one wallet, like an Electrum wallet, to another Bitcoin address, there's this transaction fee, right? Currently, it's pretty high, and the miners are the ones benefiting from it, got that part.

Yes, it's the miners who are going to profit from it directly.

Now, in another scenario, let's say I purchased some bitcoins from a centralized exchange like Binance, and I need to send them to a cold wallet address. Again, there's a transaction fee. But who's raking in this fee: the miners or the CEX platform?

CEX platform will still pay the miners to find the block for your withdrawal, and then it will be pass to you, not sure how much the CEX is making money, but there could be percentage. And that's why you don't have total control of the fees because they are the one setting it so that they can make a profit. And obviously, that's why in this kind of situation that the fees are very high, CEX could be putting like +10% or more on fees on you.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 18, 2023, 02:18:34 PM
^^ The Los Angeles Clippers won, all because of Westbrook giving up the starting role. But if James Harden were absent, this would have been a more dominating win just like before. Ty Lue's offensive game plan was to play Paul George for a lot of minutes, let him force a lot of shots—dribble, dribble, and shoot. 40 mins for PG 13 vs Rockets. That's messing up the gameplays.

Respect and salute to Westbrook 🫡, who requested to be on the bench.
Finally.
I am not really focused on the game but it was playing live on my streaming service while I was doing something else. I had a glimpse of Steve Ballmer standing up and there I knew that the Clippers were winning. I checked the scorebox and it was 104-100 with seconds remaining I said to myself, finally the drought is over. Harden also had a good standing ovation. Man, I've seen the signature move of him again, I've been waiting to witness that one more time.

Yes, Steve Ballmer was focused during that intense game, and we all know as owner I would say he is one of the most animated as he likes to watch the game live and standing up and cheering for his team. Drought is over courtesy of that signature move of Harden, a three plus a foul.

But so many things must be fixed. They must watch the tape again because their first half is really bad. Turnovers were pouring like crazy.
This is a good win for them though that might increase their confidence. Houston Rockets is a team that has been winning games, defeating them is something that ain't easy to do. WB might have also agreed that it should be Harden who would be taking over in the 4th quarter.
The final minutes were damn crazy.

And I think maybe we will all agree that it's was just a lucky break for them, Rockets has 2 error in the last minutes and then Sengun missing one free throw. But a win is a win and we should give credit to James Harden for now, as he deliver the first win to the Clippers when he join the club.
485  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack game with side bets. on: November 18, 2023, 11:43:33 AM
Op if you want to promote your product then you need to make an detailed ANN thread like these
just posting a link here and telling people to download a app will not going to work, No one will trust you and your product.
I think someone has built an app and paid OP to promote it anywhere because it is new and want some downloads to grow.
This blackjack is not a new casino platform in this forum, because I know quite well that this forum have once welcomed blackjack and even when they launched their campaign, their is one particular place I read this and I confirmed their signature campaign, so think they already have a reputation except that the person posting this is not from the right source of blackjack, but in norms I think that in way of trust people who knows the platform before now will tell you that this platform is a good one, I have not used the platform before and what I wanted to know is that op should direct us on what to do.

If you are talking about the platform yeah, we have https://blackjack.fun/.

But I think the OP is talking about the game in general, that's why he had to make this app for us to try specially if we are not aware that there are sidebets in this game. But as what others have been saying, it's the reputation of the OP that give us some problem.

We are not familiar with him and so we wont' simply download anything that has not gotten any reputation yet from this community. It's better for us to be safe in the beginning and not fall for a trick that we might regret later.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there so much interest in popular cryptocurrencies? on: November 17, 2023, 09:23:37 PM
Why does the cryptocurrency world focus so much on highly capitalized projects, to the detriment of more promising and lesser-known ones?

I guess they are already established in the first place and so people doesn't want to break anything, not that it's been broken. So altcoins in the top 10 could be a good investment for them.

Perhaps one reason is inertia - to stay with recognized, established projects instead of taking risks with young ideas. However, even with a low profile, projects like Cogitex, for example, can provide openness and transparency in their every action, which is often not enough in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Cogitex represents an innovative approach to artificial intelligence and space exploration, promising to break new ground. The question is how much the community is willing to pay attention to such projects, despite their current status.

Don't get me wrong here, it's obvious that you are shilling for this project, it might affect them negatively and backfire as investors might see this kind of shilling very negative to be honest. If the project is what you say it is, then investors are going to flock and invest their money. But if this is just a way to shill and then they found out that this project has nothing to offer, no innovative approach, then they won't even put a sat on it, just saying.

What is more important to you in the world of cryptocurrencies - their prominence or their potential to make a real impact on the industry?

Doesn't matter though, again if you think that your project can make an impact because it is unique then it will be known to crypto industry. But if it is just like a copy cat of previous project, definitely we will go with the original one, just saying.

It has to be unique like Bitcoin or Ethereum or any other projects in the altcoin crypto sphere.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 09:06:04 PM
When I checked the statistics of women who are into Bitcoin and found out that they are less than 10%, it surprised me seriously. It is understandable when we see fewer women than men in sectors that require physical energy to carry out work activity like the military or in the engineering sector but when you still see this same work force difference in the tech and Bitcoin space that they can comfortably do at the comfort of there home, it gets me curious to know the reason that might have been responsible for this huge gap.

I would appreciate if we can talk about this here. What could be responsible for this?

It's because women are risk averse, which means that they decline to take risk unlike men. Maybe because they just wanted their men to do everything for them just like what you said, stay at home moms. Or it could be how they are build as compare to men, with all of our testosterone in our body, we think that we can go and take that huge risk and win the end, just like in gambling.

And if you say 10% or at least that numbers, it huge already and who knows, as the world is changing an going into a lot of phase about gender and everything what's inside of it, maybe we can see more women trying to removed that stigma, join bitcoin or at least involved themselves in crypto market and they might find enjoyment here. I think though there are women already like a CEO of companies related to crypto if I'm not mistaken.

Good news for Shakur fans out there, we have a new champion!

Shakur Stevenson becomes earns WBC lightweight title in decision win over Edwin De Los Santos

Quote
Shakur Stevenson is now a three-division champion. Stevenson, the former Olympic silver medalist, grinded out a tough win over Edwin De Los Santos on Thursday night to claim the WBC lightweight crown in Las Vegas.

How do you rate the fight? Are you entertain or got bored? How about the betting side, anyone here won their bet?

I did not watch the fight but there are social media posts regarding to how his opponent's deal with his loss, something that mentioned about his there to fight but Shakur's way is to track him to get the point and just make sure to win it, I mean, my interpretation with what De los Santos wanted to implied is Shakur just secure the by win points and not the way a warrior fought.

Though there's nothing that De Los Santos can do now, if ever they will meet again he needed to adjust with the strategy Shakur used against him if he wanted to win.

Yeah, it was a slow paced as described my some boxing media. As if it was like that Shakur Stevenson didn't wanted to get engage in the fight and just simply wanted to win in the scorecard and it's bad for his image with this kind of performance.

He has been talking about fighting the likes of Haney or Loma, but with this showing, Haney is now on the firing end as he said that he should offer Shakur 10% based on his performance (if was reported that the Haney's offered 25% for the purse split and Stevenson turn it down).

So let's see who's next for Stevenson as he got the belt. He will have to defend it next year.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How close have you ever been to winning a big amount/jackpot? on: November 17, 2023, 08:33:45 PM
For the Lotto, nah, wasn't even close to getting at least 5 out of 6 numbers. The best that I can do when I'm playing lotto back then was like only 3 or 4 numbers. But that's it. But I haven't try online lotto though, might be different outcome but who knows.

And that's why the odds of hitting that jackpot is really huge, everything should be align, including your lucky star that night to be able to get it.

Best of luck in advance for those who are going to play. Maybe one of this day, I will also try to play on that platform and see how it goes.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: This bullish momentum - Breaking through the $35,000 mark on: November 16, 2023, 11:35:53 PM
Right now, $35,000 is acting as short-term support because, within the past week, we've seen Bitcoin going sideways at the range of $35,000 - $38,000.

It's that we have dump in the last 24 hours, and as I checked it the reason is that the SEC says that they are going to delay a review on spot Bitcoin ETF.

I will stick to my previous prediction that Bitcoin might reach as high as $40,000 by the end of the year. One bullish news can do the job, and I really hate to say this, but I think it will be an ETF-related news again. I don't know what, but it might be related to ETFs again. As for the ETF, the SEC can have its final decision until next year, so I also expect to see a major price movement in the first months of the year. In which direction? Depending on the decision of the SEC.

I think majority here will stick with that kind of prediction, so same here I seeing that the price will go on $40k at least at the end of the month, with or without the SEC news about the ETF approval. I think investors are wise enough to know that the approval might come in mid next year.

And so we need not to anticipated it but what we should do is to prepare for the imminent bull run and so we need to accumulate as much as we can before the block halving. And so if ever the news come up and then the prices goes up, we will be in the profits already. But wait, the biggest is yet to come, so do not sell and just continue to hold and see how far this bull run will be.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: November 16, 2023, 07:28:55 PM
I know I'm not a disciplined gambler and if I had too much money deposited in my casino account I'd overextend my games, which is why I never hold money on casino accounts. This is one of the rules I never break. When I want to play, I deposit a certain (small) amount of money and bet that until I either win enough to quit (double?), or bet on sports which makes all the bankroll disappear instantly, or I lose everything. If I lose it all I never add to the balance, just quit for some time.

I think you are not the only one with that problem mate, if I also have some money in a online platform, I can't really resist not playing with that crypto, and sometimes I made the right decision to play and then withdraw, but majority, when I don't have any luck, I will lose everything.

So it's not very easy to be discipline in managing our bankroll. It will take a lot of mental toughness to think that you shouldn't be depositing anymore to chase loses, or not playing the money all together as you can used it to other things that is more important and not just lay waste on it with playing.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 16, 2023, 06:52:23 PM
Also Celtics kinda showed us that 76ers are not what they look like and as soon as they block Embiid , there is nowhere left to actually carry the game for them and now I do think that maybe they made a mistake letting Harden go ? could be.

Nah, they are good without Harden, Maxey is taking Harden's place now, it's that the Boston Celtics has the best duo in the NBA right now, Tatum and Brown, and they are very consistent this season.

For the Lakers, it's a up and down game against the Kings. The biggest issue with the team right now is that they simply allow their opponents to take a big lead and they have a hard time trying to catch up. Another team that is also inconsistent and I doubt that they are a championship caliber in the West right now. Kings kryptonite is the Warriors, but if the Warriors can't get their act together maybe if they play the Kings in the playoff, it will be a different story.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: November 16, 2023, 09:29:16 AM
It is possible that if there are no factors that force a gambler to stop gambling, the gambler will continue to gamble with their favorite game.
that's what old gamblers do, they only play one or two games. and consistently play it and have no interest in other games.
Maybe it will be a little different for young gamblers. exploring several games and even several casinos becomes natural. Indeed, there will be no age limit for this. Even for me personally, it is difficult to say that the target wants to stop gambling.
Even they want to stop gambling, they just can't because we're like feeling nostalgic and want to back in the old days where we were happy or enjoy for doing what we likes. You will still gamble for few times when you're really miss when you were young.

Just like me, sometime I watch someone play console game on youtube or I do play it by myself.
Nostalgia! Oh yeah, that's a good reason behind continuing gambling too for old people.
I am a nostalgic person. Why? I still prefer playing PSP, and PS1 games despite the fact that there are more better games in consoles in this era. Why? It brings back a lot of memories.
I do think it will have the same effect on old gamblers or those who are getting old. Let's say they have a favorite slot game today and even though they will be creating new ones in maybe the next 5-10 years, he will still keep on going back at that same game and just play around running it with small bets just to have some fun.
That may be why I answered here I will keep on playing or betting even in my old age. But I might prefer 1 or 2 bets only on sports and just cheer for my preferred team while watching the game with my bet on the line.

Or they could learn new games, as far as I know, some of the games that I started to play like 10-15 years ago is no longer in circulate and it's already outdated. And you can only find them is some obscure casinos. Unlike before where it was in the top casinos in our country.

So I guess for those who have age like fine wine, they still want to play new slots because they are not going to find those nostalgic slots that they used to play and could have memories that give them a huge pay back in the days.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2023, 09:13:28 PM
When we are talking about "fighting" in NBA, not that many players throw punches, this is as hardcore as it gets. Draymond Green didn't do himself justice by keeping Gobert in headlock for that long, I understand wanting to protect your teammate, but you should just push or hold somewhere else, like grab Gobert by the waist and pull him away, that could make sense, there were many other players there that separated the fight, none of them did a headlock, look at all the players on the court, they are all trying to separate Klay but nobody gave another player headlock, that's not how it works.

Draymond "may" had the good intentions, like protect your friend, but headlock, and for that long, wasn't the way to do it. It's famously known that Draymond is a dirty player, he was the reason why Warriors lost a whole title, because he kept on kicking others, dude is a dirty player through and through, and this was one of those moments when he did what he does, and I hope he gets at least a few games suspension.

The way I look at it, Gobert is just standing there, no aggressive move on his part, maybe he was there to separate his team mates as well, but Draymond just rush in and choosing to choke hold Gobert. Good thing that Gobert stay cools after that one, if he chooses to go to Green it could be another Malice in the Palace. He should be fine and suspended for that and so the Warriors season are a messed right now.

For Lavine case, maybe it's time for him to find a new team. The management built a good players around him as he was obviously their main man. Unfortunately, it still didn't materialized, they barely make it to the first round of the playoffs. But the question is why Lakers?
495  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Client Executives Kidnapped, Forced to Empty Crypto Wallets on: November 15, 2023, 08:39:39 PM
This can’t happen unless they’ve been following them up for a while. This is why it is discouraged to flaunt what you have in this cryptocurrency space. I’m not saying this was their case but this is something that will most likely happen to people who like to talk about how much they have because there’s no way someone can randomly rob you and ask you to send all your crypto money if they didn’t know it somehow.

That's what criminals do, if they see a target, they are going to follow their victims, no matter what. And it will just take time before they strike. But yeah, this is kinda scary, usually what he heard is that criminals targeting individuals and then asking them to empty wallets that they have total control, and we think that it is safe to have that kind of wallet.

The best they can do right now is to ask tether to freeze the funds (usdt), that is if the criminals hasn't move it to another wallet.

So let's see how the news developed, it's a huge money to begin with and hopefully they can catch the criminals.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 13, 2023, 12:16:50 PM
@Jating. However, there is a skeptical way of thinking about this. What if Tyson Fury only made it appear that he was weak vs. Francis Ngannou? It might also be that Tyson Fury did not want to overtrain and have a higher risk of injury because he wants to prepare for the heavyweight championship unification vs. Usyk. The Ukrainian should not make the mistake of reducing his training schedule.

If you look at Fury's history, his past fights, you will not see that he wanted to appear weak, he is already assure of a win in the first fight against Wilder, until that last round wherein he got knock down and it was just a miracle that he was able to get up and finished the fight and then it ends in a controversial draw. In the second fight, he didn't look weak, and on the contrary he is the more aggressive between the two.

So we should throw that out of the window because I don't think that any fighter wanted to appear weak as his opponent will go and try to get your head off and we was almost upset by Francis. Definitely, Usyk said that he won't made that mistake and underestimate Fury because he look very different against Ngannou.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategies on: November 13, 2023, 10:55:29 AM
So i wanted to ask from experienced gamblers here, who make live bets; how do you choose your bets and what kind of bets are you preferring (other then betting for winners).

Also are there some good tips on how to make most of from those? Because to someone less informed like myself, most of the other kind of bets seem like shots in the dark. I am assuming that there are more profitable strategies. Like what kind of other bets are worth looking into?

Not sure if there is a strategy in live betting, you just have to let's say watch the first half of the game and see who is the better team. Maybe in the pre-game betting team A is the favorite, but when they are playing, it seems that they are struggling and they have a hard time against the underdog team. If that is the case, then betting on the underdog is the best choice.

But if the game is very close that the favorite will not have an easy win, I might go and bet on the underdog, not on the ML but as least in the handicap, + side, at least you are shooting two birds with one stone, for example, the underdog didn't win by the favorite wasn't able to cover the handicap, or the underdog pull a upset, so it's a win-win situation for you.
498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin Hit $1 Million by 2026? Arthur Hayes Makes Exciting Forecast on: November 12, 2023, 09:16:51 PM
As much as we are an optimist I think that we still need to be grounded in reality so, bitcoin hasn't even crossed the 100k mark yet so it's unlikely that a million is a possibility during that time period, from what I can take from this is that we should continue buying and accumulating bitcoin because with that kind of forecast, who knows who's forecast is going to right and on the off chance that this becomes a reality, you don't want to be missing out on the potential profits that you could've taken so just take it with a grain of salt.
It is also important to set goals for ourselves and avoid being consumed by greed, obviously when I see predictions of bitcoin reaching a price of one million my mouth salivates as that will mean I will obtain huge profits thanks to it, but when it will happen and will I still be holding my coins? That is what I do not know, so I would think it is a better idea to set more down to earth goals, since I am sure even a price of 100k will greatly help those which have held their coins for a few years already and change their lives for the better.

One thing I see is that predictions of $100k or $120k are rarely discussed and instead, predictions of bitcoin reaching $1m or $10m are always discussed. Meanwhile, the goal that most of us aim for is 100k$. That shows how high people's expectations and greed are. But honestly, I have never thought about those goals, I like to live realistically and I agree with some of those opinions: we haven't even reached $100k yet, how can we reach $1 million? I think the people who made that prediction are obsessed with bitcoin or they have their own purpose in deliberately creating that attention.

Perhaps the $100k-$120k is rarely discussed because we are already close to achieving it, remember that the last time we had our all time high, it's around $69k, so it's less that twice that price. And now that we will see the catalyst of another bull run which is the halving next year, everyone is seeing around that price already. So we or at least Hayes is looking beyond that, and predicting what could happen in the next decade or so after the next bull run. And that is why the prediction is very absurd for now, and just by looking at the math and how the growth is, it's impossible to hit that number by 2026. At least we should give more time to bitcoin, maybe 12 years or more after the next bull run, or 3-4 block halvings and we will see if this can be achieved or not.

Francis Ngannou though will have to wait on who he is going to face next.

Time will come but probably not happening this year, he made a good impression, sure the fans will watch his fight and promoters would not have a problem promoting the fight.

Many including myself want another boxing match for Francis Ngannou for sure after that incredible showcase that he had against Tyson Fury that is, that is why I would like Francis Ngannou to fight Tyson Fury again or maybe even other heavyweight boxers like Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, or maybe Oleksandr Usyk will do

For me, I think Francis Ngannou will still fight whoever boxer that wants to fight him and he knows that it is a big money to fight in the boxing ring so for sure he will keep on fighting boxers for sure, while PFL will be readying him to fight

That might be the case as it is already reported that it will be a double header fight,

- Fury vs Usyk
- Joshua vs Wilder

Bust since Fury is not going to be physically available on December it changes the picture of the undercard as well. There were reports that Wilder wanted to go to England to chase Joshua, not sure if he did continue with this plan. Seems he didn't go though as this reports resurfaces that they are going to fight a different opponent this December as tune up fight. Hopefully they will be ready in February and should come out unscathed against Otto Wallin and Joseph Parker.

Well, the fight between Tyson Fury VS Oleksandr Usyk was called off for the time being because Tyson Fury was in bad shape because of his fight against Francis Ngannou sure Tyson Fury didn't expect that he would have a hard time against Francis Ngannou sure accepting the December fight against Oleksandr Usyk because he was underestimating Ngannou which is his bad take because he got an unexpected result,  well Tyson Fury's fight was move to an unannounced date in February 2024 for the Unification of WBA belt,

Yeah, he really did underestimate Ngannou, regardless of what Fury says after the fight, we all know that it is not true. He said that the did train hard, but it was obvious that he was out of shape and there's no strategy in his corner. They just want to survived in this fight and this is exactly why the score is very close and very controversial. So this could be a blessing for Usyk as he can continue to train but not overextend to the point that he will overtrain.

So February 2024 might be just right for Usyk and all the pressure now is on the shoulder of Fury as this is the first time that we have seen him vulnerable in a fight and seemingly doesn't want to engage. And it might carry this kind of mental state when he fought Usyk this February.

I am more inclined to believe that gambling is aimed at luck. And the hope of luck motivates most players to start playing more often. Are there many players who regularly win thanks to their methodology? I think that people play for fun, for that adrenaline that some people sometimes need, and their passion can hardly add up to a successful practice that shows frequent wins.

if you are into luck-based games, then definitely you don't need skills to win. though there are known strategies like martingale or d'alembert. still they are not guarantee that you will hit big in those casino games.

Martingale though is not a good strategy in my opinion, you need bigger capital to run this off. And if you are really unlucky, your money can be swept in just a matter of minutes as you can go without and not win.

but if you are into sportsbetting or poker, skill or knowledge is an advantage to have an edge on these games. luck also plays a role, but skill/knowledge is very important to have better chance of winning.

But the luck in poker comes into the picture when by draw you got a good hand. And even that, you have to wait for all the cards as we have seen that even with a slim chance, you can still win if luck is on your side and in the river, the card drawn goes into your favor, tipping it 100% for you to win. It could be rare though, but there are poker tournaments that you can see in youtube that has this kind of scenario.
