Especially the ones that got created a day or few days after an event occur, e.g will Smith inu, it is very clear this is a scam project, even of you get it for free don't waste your time with it.
A project that was created a day or 2 days after a certain thing(s) happened was not planned for, it is temporary and don't have a future. The only goal with such projects is to scam or rug pull.

May i ask which of the 2 you are referring to?
There is BWS - Biswap and BISWAP - Biswap token. Both of them have different website according to the information i got from coingecko. In my opinion, i would rather go with the first one, it seem more legit, less supply, already in several exchange and has a better chance to be more successful than the other one. At current price you can get like 18 bsw for your $20 budget. But the second Biswap is a risk investment, i dont think it is a good pick. Just my 2 cent.

I have heard about ZIL, but I haven't invested in yet so I was surprised you call it a scam. ~
~ You misunderstood what he said, he didn't refer to zil as scam rather what he said is zil is far from being a scam project i.e no where near anything relating to scam Zillqa is an old project that was created back in 2016/17 if am not mistaken, at one time i was an investor but i have sold my bags to invest in other projects. zillqa is a high throughput network created to enhance scalability performance with a trans speed of around one thousand. You can read alot about zillqa from the website through coingecko or cmc. @op i believe zil is a good choice considering their track record, and as for the second coin, i have no idea but i would have suggested you replace that with cardano. The choice is yours. |

Selling is not an option for me right now, i intend to hold and try to accumulate more. i can not predict the future but my desire is to continue holding as long as i don't have any reason to want to sell.
Earning passive income from stable coins is not a bad idea but selling btc for just that purpose is imo, the probability of btc going higher in years to come is high so why sell to stablecoins just to earn passive income. You can always do this with a sperate funds (if you can afford it).

Traders and alot rich traders investors are in 2 things.
Btc and usdt as USDT is safe place to hold funds but how the exchangers protect this ?
Imagine if something happens with usdt many people will lose so much that they never cant deal with crypto anymore so what is the exvhangers security plan to fully protect customers ?
As myself fully depend on usdt thats how much i trust usdt and usdc also.
People want to be in crypto if they can funds in stable coins to give them safety but if usdt not safe as there is rumours about usdt then all the crypto game will be over.
I can never sleep well if i know my money will be in volatile coins so USDT is now very important and gives confidence for investors and crypto lovers such us myself
Why leave your money under the care of an exchange if you are not trading with it? If you just want to hold you money in stablecoins and not trade there is no need to keep them in exchange, hold them in private wallet, whether it is btc or usdt. If you are a trader on the other hand, you just have to trust that the security of the exchange is strong enough to protect customers funds, a reason why you should only trade in reputable exchange that have better insurance policy to protect users should such situation occurred. |

After I lost my money on different investments, I was devasted but was introduced to crypto. I had no money but somehow I learnt a little on how to trade on Bitcoin. How can you say we are going in circles when we are clearly advancing from stage to stage, don't you understand the meaning of going in circles. Here is a brief meaning "To waste one's time and energy engaging in trivial, aimless, or futile activities and failing to make any progress as a result".
Now You can see we are progressing, ICO came and brought great project like eth, bnb, waves, eos, enj and several others that are among top 100 coins, people only see the project that where scam but they fail to recognize the good projects that also came through ico.
IEO came with different approach, good project came through it and like ico many were also scam. And now we have the IDO and Launchpad with different approach as well, so i don't see it as goin in circle rather advancing.

There are way too many people talking about shiba these days. Do you guys all think about shiba all this much, or is there like a secret shiba place on bitcointalk where people talk about it like crazy? I mean the reality is that we should not be feeling all that badly about this situation, just focus on the fact that we are doing alright, and shiba is a memecoin that you could avoid and rest of the crypto, there are some shitcoins and scamcoins as well.
But, if you find the real good ones, like btc, eth, bnb, ltc, avax and so forth then you know what you are getting into and they do not like about what they are. Just focus on those if you are unsure about some memecoin.
It seems some people just love to talk much about shitcoins rather than actual good projects. I guess different stroke for different folks. They seem to derive great joy in the shiba inu talk, can't blame them  I sincerely don't know what people expect from shib, the whales are the ones controlling the price by buying huge amount of it to artificially pump the price and also dump it back in the market when it is convenient for them. |

To all newcomers on here pls be careful with projects that start with the name "META" because they are mostly scam projects, since metaverse have become another hot cake in crypto world today this scammers are fully ready to use this on the unknowns, open your eye and do good research before taking that risk... Meta this and mate that are the most dangerous projects today, stay safe.
It is no longer "inu" now it is "meta" although I can't say I have come across any project with that initial. However, it is not surprising though that scammers will utilize the popularity of the real 'Meta' to create fake project with similar name to scam investors. I will advise everyone to be cautious and be more observant because some scam projects can appear very solid and standard but that is only in disguise. |

Are you a fan because of the financial aspect or the technical aspect? Because I still don't understand what exactly it is that makes shiba inu valuable! If you are a fan because of the profit you made, I guess you can say the same for every other project you made profit from, except there is something outstanding this shiba inu is doing which really blown your mind. RBTC imo is not a major issue assuming the network is popular, you can get rbtc from kucoin for your transaction fees. All the rsk network need is exposure through aggressive marketing, creating awareness in all available means so that the crypto community will be aware of this blockchain, understand how it works and build on it. Once this happens, all projects on the rsk network will have some form of recognition With time more projects will launch in the rsk network who understand and want a fully transparent and decentralized network, and who wants to build smart contract using the bitcoin network ...RBTC is equal to WBTC, but if the decentralization is what you look, maybe you are right about RSK. Personally i get RBTC to have always "gas" to move my assets in case of emergency but prefer have it making some passive income, 'cos if we hold BTC have RBTC its the same.

My own believe is the next crypto hype in near future will be on BTC network like this rsk right now I'm hoping that projects like SOVRYN will become cheaper so I can finally buy few coins, most defi projects on other chains are scams but RSK Network might prove difference.
Sovryn is already cheap considering it's ath, how cheap do you want it to be? Presale price perhaps.  Among the reason why sov is this cheap is because of the low popularity and hype, very few people know about sov and very few people know about the risk network. Sovryn is the only one am familiar with among the project @op mentioned. Tropykus is a project am hearing for the first time, but I will rather go with what am familiar with, although sovryn is struggling now but who knows what the future holds, as long as the team are dedicated, continue with project development am sure Sovryn will be okay in the long run. |

The government will only take certain action when they feel it is the right time to do so. I actually admire his courage and strong will to challenge the Pakistan government to adopt btc. May be if there are more like him it will make things go faster.
Nonetheless, this is a good way of spreading the word across, he has over a million followers in his YouTube channel and that is a huge number of people to reach out, then imagine those people spread the word to other relatives, the news will spread. I believe some day his effort will be rewarded.

No i won't choose one over another since i won't be paying any of them, but what i would do is acquire a piece of land in decentraland for future, if you own a land in decentraland it can earn you good money instead of the game imo. (some big companies already bought lands from decentraland, food for thought
2. What do you think about metaverse future? Wil this work out on the long run because no project have shown a full working metaverse project so far.
I feel it is still too early to tell what the future of metaverse will be, the whole crypto space is still considered young let alone metaverse, i think it will be best to give it some time before giving any verdict, but if we consider the way big companies are joining the metaverse i would say it will not only work but will be successful. However, not all the project claiming to be metaverse will be around to witness it. |

It's getting annoying to see people talking about a project is the next Ethereum killer, for how long are we going to keep this up? So far there are so many ETH killers that haven't taken a single shot at Ethereum, this has proven that Ethereum isn't a project that any new coin or token can just take over like that, it has never been easy.

Maybe you should stop paying attention to such post, to me I think these are old talks you are bringing up, I feel people already understand there is no such thing as 'eth killer' we can all agree that different projects were created to serve different purpose in blockchain (irrespective of if they succeed or not), if there is any project that was created for the sole purpose of becoming an 'eth killer' then that project has no objective or goal and shouldn't be considered. That term "eth killer" is made up by the community of the project and not the dev team and I don't see why people should capitalize on it and expect something to actually happen base on that. |

Crypto scams are increasing and people are losing money as a result, too many new projects popping up pretending to provide certain service in blockchain only to end up rug pull on the investors. This is the reason why you need to avoid shitcoins and pick only Bitcoin if you want to start to invest on crypto space. After 13 years created, Bitcoin never ever scam anyone until now. If there's an article discuss about Bitcoin scams, pretty sure it's either exchange, investment company, recoverable funds etc are the scammer, not Bitcoin.
Very true, except for exchange hacks, social media accounts hacks demanding btc from people, wallet hacks and other similar cases, it is not possible to get scam just by investing on btc through the right source. This is the reason it is the most trusted and reliable cryptocurrency in the world. |

Remember most of this launchpad are on tier basis, depending on the tier you belong will determine your allocation, if you are in lower teir, it is often base on lottery to get allocation. In other to get good allocation you must be in higher tier which means you have to invest a sizable amount. From cryptorank link shared above, it is easy to see the roi of various launchpad and make your choice, among the list, I most familiar with seedify, I sometimes participate in their IGO. |
