No, Sia and Storj are not in competition. We at Storj do not believe in competition and would love integrating with Sia along with sharing ideas. Can you explain from a technical standpoint how you are not in competition? I understand you don't believe in competition, but if Sia considers you competition, then you are competitors. Well even looking at the past replies in this thread between super3 (Storj founder and lead developer) and Taek shows there is no sense of hostility or competition. As super3 mentioned, we could later on integrate Sia into Storj by allowing people to store on Sia via our application Metadisk, and any drive farming software could be used with our DriveShare GUI. Not to mention how interesting the quorum aspect of Sia is; Storj would be happy to help with applications and frontend and so on. Yes, I was just wondering from a technical perspective if you are trying to accomplish the same thing, but sounds like you are not really. Storj seems like a good group of devs. |

Thank you for the update and for providing them candidly. You guys have convinced me in the ginormous potential sia has. I am hypnotizing you right now. You are special. You will dominate cloud storage by solving problems others can not. You will make me millions thereby making yourself hundreds of millions. You will make sure Disney does not ruin Star Wars. The last one being the hardest to accomplish.

I'm not involved in Qora whatsoever nor have I followed the progress, but I know many people who are and I have no idea why the creator hasn't made it open source at this point. Who cares if anyone clones Qora, it has a $500k market cap. It could be dead in a week if the source isn't available.

I just don't think it's sensible to list on NFD. Nxt has thousands of users who would be potential buyers of Exo and it a proven system for pre-ipo coin market. Otherwise we sit and wait. I don't really expect an answer from Exo devs, so it's probably a wasted conversation.

This is pure myth by Nemsters. Nxt prices went up as AE was launched, got boost in other ways, like attendances in bitcoin conference, payexpo. There is no proof Nxt prices went up due to Nem LOL u are so biased, there is a decent Proof. LOL, you are an so idiot. There is none. Prices were on rise for a while before Nemstake (down from low of 2 cents low) and had nothing to do with Nem. In fact Nem hurt Nxt prices as sock puppets sold stakes on AE to long term Nxt holders and then those Nxt went to Bter to be dumped for BTC U are so stupid that i dont even mind to answer anything  There is no need to use NXT AE at this point of development, if you cant wait just ask refund from Anon. Uh, the whole point is that you can sell you stake for more than your investment, also allowing others to acquire Exo. Otherwise we are waiting for months with our BTC locked, or get a refund and miss launch. Not sure why that is difficult to understand. |

It seems to me that pre-Maidsafe Ethereum was all about Decentralized Autonomous Organisations and contracts, and now its all about Decentralized Apps and making a new internet. Don't get me wrong - I like the expansion to cover more different things, but I suspect it was partly inspired by Maidsafe. Yes, I was more referring to the willingness to work with Maidafe in general, which I think not a chance. |

That's how much money has been sucked into a void. How is that good news for anyone BUT the devs?? I am heavily invested in NXT since several months.
Result:
I am heavily disappointed about price development (and others) and I deeply regret my decision for NXT. Can see a lot of "good News" but no real progress.
Nxt will not be successful because we have speculative investors buying with the intent of selling at some point. Sorry to burst your bubble. We are setting a framework for massive adoption in real world commerce, once it comes to fruition, you will not regret your decision. |
