541  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Interesting thing/idea, what are your thoughts? on: March 02, 2015, 07:50:45 PM
Interesting idea to be sure but to be honest I have a sneaking suspicion this would be quite a bit of work for nothing more than what amounts to an additional, central point of failure for users funds.  Now, if you can can implement this technique (which, btw would undoubtedly require constant upkeep given how often exchange API's and payment gateways change) in some kind of trustless decentralized manner then you might be onto something. 542  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 24, 2015, 07:42:03 PM
Forgot to mention that my BTC withdrawal from sealswithclubs went off without a hitch within 24 hours of request.

Sorry to see seals go.  Thanks for the great site while it lasted Micon, I literally taught myself how to play poker on your site and it will hold a fond place in my heart from here on out...particularly since you didn't run off with my satoshis :p

Best of luck Micon in future endeavors.

546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MANDATORY UPDATE ██ ZEITCOIN MOVEMENT [FULLY POS] ██ on: February 22, 2015, 08:24:28 AM
Curious.  Haven't had a Minting payout since the 5th of this month.  Anybody else having these kind of irregular payouts?

*also curious as to whether or not there is an equivalent [getstakinginfo] command in Zeitcoin so I can ensure it's minting properly?

Earliest Minting can happen is 20 days after block was created.
If the amount of zeit in the block is 50,000 or over will usually mint within 3 days after the 20th day.
If the amount of zeit in the block is under 1000 minting will take longer.

If you encrypted the wallet , you need to unlock it for it to mint.
If you did not update to the version 2.0.1.5 , you will have minting problems.
If you only sync up occasionally, then minting will take longer.
(The more you leave the Zeit Wallet connected the more chances it has to mint, since we are all competing for stake when in sync and online.)

Go under Coin Control and check the dates the blocks were created, if the blocks are younger than 40 days, just wait , if they still have not minted after 60 days , then you want to use coin control and merge them if your amount are below 100 per block , but 1000 per block should mint in less than 45 days at our current network difficulty level.
Coin Control Tips
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=487814.msg10296134#msg10296134

FYI:
The more blocks that are staking the more secure our network.
If your block takes over 40 days to mint , then the block is not split in 2 , but the amount is just added to the new block created. It is the Automatic Coin / Block control feature in zeit , to help secure and balance out the network.

 Cool

2nd FYI:
Once a block does mint say on Feb 5th, it starts the 20 day cycle over since it created a new block,
and the earliest that new block can mint will be Feb 25.
Appreciate the detailed response kiklo.  I am currently running version 2.0.1.5 with an existing balance of > 1mil zeit presently.

Also appreciate the link showing how to access the Coin Control Tips.  Wasn't even aware that feature existed within the zeit wallet.  Although honestly it would be great to have some sort of RPC command built directly into into the qt client for displaying coin minting related information.  TBH, I'm not entirely sure what all of this stuff means under coin control window as of yet but will take a closer look at it when I can.

I suspect I'm just going to have to wait another a few more days to complete 20-day cycle from last minting and just take it from there.  More than likely I'm just getting to anxious Smiley

Hey there busoni.  Haven't been able to access my poloniex account all evening.  e-mail and password accepted ok, but for some reason no longer accepting my Google 2FA.  Is this an issue that is also affecting other people's accounts or is it just unique to mine?  If unique to mine, how do I go about rectifying the situation since I can't login to the system to create a trouble ticket?

Just put in my request to withdraw my remaining funds from seals.  Form responded with my correct chip values now waiting to see if the satoshi's actually hit my address.  Sorry to see this site go :/

Just created an account on your site.  E-mail verification process went nice and smooth however when I tried to turn on Google 2FA it wouldn't accept my authentication code to enable.  I decided to go ahead and give the site a try despite 2FA problem so I sent 10 Zeit to my yobit's wallet for testing.  So far nothing has shown up :/

Any ideas as to why this isn't being credited yet?

*EDIT: looks like my ZEIT deposit just hit.  Time to give it a go! Smiley

553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the recent BTER hack affected the bitcoin price? on: February 18, 2015, 07:06:50 PM
It already affect bitcoin price Sad
But it's only temporary, bitcoin price can back to normal in 2 to 4 days

But i wonder if they really hacked Roll Eyes
Of course their 'cold wallet' wasn't hacked.  If it where it would mean the underlying cryptography fundamentals of bitcoin can be compromised.  This whole BTER gafaw is nothing more than another 'inside job' theft.
554  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 18, 2015, 07:04:04 PM
What do you think? I think I might be close. I'm guessing $10,000 per bitcoin by then.

Possibly, but what will $10,000 buy you then? A loaf of bread?

The US dollar isn't inflating THAT much, cmon.
Gotta agree with nor9865 on this one.  Worst case scenario you'll still be able to pick up 2 pepperoni pizza's @ $10,000 USD by then :p
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I believe bitcoin will never reach 1 million per coin on: February 18, 2015, 06:51:25 PM
winklevoss own 100,000..

Bitcoin jesus Roger ver owns 400,000

Which means these guys will have wealth like 100 billion and 400 billion

this is not at all practical..seems extremely unlikely

But how can somebody become that rich?
Let's not forget about ole fatty fat head Karpeles: 840,000 BTC  :-/
556  Economy / Speculation / Re: ETA for the ETF? (and Gemini Exchange speculation) on: February 18, 2015, 06:49:01 PM
My guess as to ETF going live?

Last quarter of 2016 or 1st quarter of 2017 if ever.  Bitlicense baby...oh yeah!
557  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining is still profitable? on: February 18, 2015, 06:38:04 PM
If so what websites would you recommend
No it isn't.  Majority of cloud mining sites are ponzi's.  Those that aren't ponzi's are shutting down due to non profitability.  Better to just throw your money straight into purchasing BTC if your really wanting to gamble.
558  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How fast would this gaming computer I am about to buy mine? on: February 18, 2015, 06:26:12 PM
x11 coins might be worth it, check them out.
x11 coins pretty much his only real option.  Obviously if your having to pay for your electricity et all you'll end up paying far more than you ultimately generate unfortunately.  PC mining is basically dead imho.

Have a question regarding my LTC Balance.  Currently my balance is 1.337 LTC, yet when I attempt to withdraw it tells me the maximum LTC withdrawal amount is 1.33034825, then I have an additional 0.5% commission withdrawn (0.00665174) as a fee?  Where pray tell did my other 0.007 latoshi's end up going?

Dear nwfella,

To withdraw 1.33034825 LTC You have to pay 0.5% of that amount as a commission (0.00665174 LTC).
This commission is NOT subtracted from the withdrawal amount. It is taken from Your remaining balance instead.

1.33034825 + 0.00665174 = 1,33699999 ~1.337

And that is exactly Your LTC balance.

Best Regards,
Bit-X Staff
Appreciate the timely response and clarification.  Smiley
