541  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 30, 2023, 02:17:18 AM
Not a good idea for me because you are just removing your privacy for having Bitcoin holdings and you might be target by scammer since they already have an idea that you are a holder.
(....)
This is just a downside for me, it is more likely you are exposing your own self that you are a Bitcoin hodler, and some criminals can target you.
But the good side here is you are advertising Bitcoin for free, and when someone sees your t-shirt some could become curious and they will start to research it or best way to hold some also.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layer 2 Blast and airdrop! on: November 30, 2023, 02:04:42 AM
$500 million TVL for me is not a joke, and if something is really fishy in this L2 chain with airdrop, then a lot of big personalities will start announcing.
Personally, I tried to deposit a few Ethereum, extra Ethereum that I am willing to lose just incase it will be turned out bad.
543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: November 30, 2023, 01:55:40 AM
(...)
I would like to know that what you guys think about stop-losses, and how often you guys use stop-losses to avoid getting huge losses in your trades?
It seems for me optional, I see some traders especially master traders as copy traders, and some of them are just letting their trades liquidate instead of setting stop losses, it's just very strange for me, they are just letting their trades to liquidate maybe also because of the win rate, and they can close the trade when it will be breakeven.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts eyeing $3,000 as the next milestone for Ethereum (ETH) on: November 29, 2023, 02:56:20 AM
Just make it come back to an all-time high and it's already good. Hahaha. That's what we are hoping for, an all-time high even on other cryptocurrencies.

Based on the chart, what I can see is these by-thousands price level is acting as supports and resistances, and these are psychological supports/resistances. So I am also expecting $3,000 as the next stop.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How high will your altcoin go? check it out with this tool on: November 29, 2023, 02:51:45 AM
This platform is good to fuel your hopium from your altcoins  Cheesy
It's good to see we have this platform now because I can see some Twitter personalities who just posting some random like this for some altcoins and comparing it to some altcoins.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos or PolkaDot? on: November 27, 2023, 10:51:42 PM
I don't trust Polkadot anymore, after Gavid Wood, one of the founders of Ethereum and creators of Polkadot left Parity Technologies, I am not looking forward to anymore to Polkadot. It seems Polkadot is dying and it was only a pure hyped before because of Gavid Wood, a lot of people hoping it will be the same success of Ethereum.
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: November 27, 2023, 10:42:29 PM
Should trading be exclusive to financially comfortable and rich because of how risky it is?
Maybe we can say, "Trading is not for everyone".
I know the feeling of difficult when you want to start trading but you don't have any extra funds or have financial difficult.
But for me, it will not be an excuse if you are really willing to trade and start, the demo account is correct, next you can find some money by working some gigs in internet, so you can use the fund you earned to start trading.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Mining to Gambling: A Rollercoaster Ride in the Crypto World on: November 26, 2023, 11:50:35 PM
I remember myself with you but mine is different, I lose my Bitcoins not because of gambling but because of random altcoins I bought using my earned Bitcoin on my different internet gigs before. I was new before in cryptocurrency market and these random altcoins lured me and also trading without proper knowledge made me lost also lot of Bitcoin instead of just holding it.
549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Consolidation on: November 26, 2023, 11:37:45 PM

The market can not kill you and your account. You only lose your money if you gamble with your money in this volatile market. Gambling with trading (spot trading), higher gambling level with Margin trading and Futures trading.
~snip~

Basically what you say is the truth of Bitcoin investment. Investing is the best way to make a profit and not be affected by potentially detrimental price movements as long as you don't sell your Bitcoin.

Leverage or futures trading has very large risks that can bankrupt all the assets we own. Because every movement that occurs in the market if it is not in the direction of our position can lead to a margin call. This is very possible because we ourselves know that Bitcoin movements are very capable of going wild.
We are talking trading here so for me, so for me, all the risks you guys mentioned are normal when you are trading. That's why there's stop loss just incase your speculation or analysis went to the opposite side.
Just like in consolidation, which we all know if you say consolidation price is sideways or neutral, no pumps no dumps which for me, it's good to analyze here the next move.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favourite Alt-Coin, and why? on: November 24, 2023, 09:50:12 AM
I didn't have time to add my vote, but I would definitely choose ETH. This altcoin amazingly stays afloat, as if nothing can sink it. Any other competitors are not capable of reaching the heights that ETH has reached. First mover is a core advantage that competitors find difficult to match.
This is very obvious. Ethereum is the largest market cap altcoin, the top 1 altcoin for me. So this is the crowd favorite. Well, I can see other people have their favorite; we must respect it, that's their opinion. We must not judge them because they have their own basis and use cases for sure that's why they choose it.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Hacks in November on: November 23, 2023, 02:49:46 PM

Seems hacking incidents this month are really huge! Do you think this is one of the many signs that we are already in the bull run?
Hackers are everywhere and trying to take advantage of a lot of users and volume, especially in Decentralized Finance (DeFi).
I am also curious even we have a lot of hacks this month, market still holding strong.

As you can see, the recent hacks were major in the DeFi market, different platforms or networks.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: November 23, 2023, 02:43:10 PM
(....)
Do you take these Psychic predictions seriously?
For me, I do believe here, especially if you are gambling on a game that will only make you a winner is "luck" so why not give it a try?
I know a lot of people like this, they do believe in psychic betting especially people from my province who are used to gambling in the lottery.
553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your portfolio building strategy for crypto? on: November 23, 2023, 02:33:36 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are always the largest allocations in my bag.
Then after that select some top altcoins after Ethereum. Then I do have an allocation on current hype or trending, like meme coins or NFT or just like what OP said, AI coins. I do have small allocation because I know it's kinda huge risk but high reward.
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weak or wise? on: November 23, 2023, 02:06:26 PM
(....)
Do you accept to be a weak trader or a wise trader when you exit a trade taking some profit, but not the entirety of what you want on your TP?
This really depends, like based on your plan. Let's say you already entered a trade and you already set your take profit price and stop loss price but suddenly the price action went in a different direction, different from your expectation, so this time you can close the trade in profit even if your target price is still not reached. If that is your reason, then wise. If you don't have any basis, then weak.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should start looking into Altcoins on: November 23, 2023, 02:03:16 PM
The challenge now is which altcoin. This time it seems very different, compared to before when most altcoins would just pump after the Bitcoin rally.
Now, it's really difficult, even if you say top altcoin, we have now a lot of top altcoins.
Plus Bitcoin dominance right now is extremely high and local top, we still don't know if Bitcoin will continue to rally or go sideways so altcoins will do their run also.
556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If i have 1k how to trade future on: November 23, 2023, 01:52:46 PM
For me, the safest is to decide how much from your capital/balance you are willing to risk. Like for example 5% per trade. Then stick to that. Make sure on every trade, the total size is 5% of your balance, with leverage or without. And consider also the cross/isolated if you are trading future, make sure you understand them.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Retrospective airdrop experiences on: November 23, 2023, 03:11:43 AM
Recently  found the PYTH network Airdrop and that was on the Solana Chain which gives users a huge amount of free Airdrop which were qualify for it and the prices now has been 0.41$ per Token. Although I was not selected in that Airdrop but I have seen users have won $23k from just this Airdrop which works consistently. I have noticed one thing in all these Airdrops when the market is good then the Airdrop would be better and can give a huge amount of money to the users but when the market is not good that all then it would not give that much of the amount we expect from them.
Yea, this is why I suggest to take your part from airdrops you get, money is not yours until you actually sell. Many of current projects won't survive in harsh bear market conditions.
This airdrop for me is the real retrospective airdrop experience! Just like Arbitrum. No need for a lot of things to do, as long as you are using the product at all in general.
Just like what happened in Arbitrum before, like there are already lot platforms especially DeFi platforms in Arbitrum before the airdrop and you just casually using the chain without knowing or expecting any airdrop.
558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase Commerce: still working? on: November 23, 2023, 02:57:05 AM
Coinbase Commerce is one of the many platforms that we will use to accept payments in cryptocurrency. I checked Coinbase Commerce and their developer documentation, the technical. Like API documentation. It is very clean and easy to understand, very straightforward.
The auto conversion is already answered. I just share my experience about the technical side.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you need to know about trading on: November 23, 2023, 02:48:03 AM
Most traders and investors are inpatient they only think of the positive side of it ( making profit) not knowing there will always be a loss someday
What a trader does not have for their trading career is they have to think of loss, risk of getting loss before thinking of getting profit.
(....)
This is the most common experience for all the traders especially when they are just starting, like newbies.
They didn't know how stressful trading was and how unpredictable/volatile. That's why when you do trade, you need to continuously learn and have proper risk management.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They accumulate bitcoin but how about you? on: November 23, 2023, 01:07:54 AM
There are smart people, groups, entities that are smart. They saw potential of Bitcoin and decided to accumulate Bitcoin a long time ago. They have accumulated a lot of bitcoins and owned a lot of bitcoins.
(....)
This is always what I am saying to myself every time I am planning to buy Bitcoin or just afraid to buy Bitcoins. Like if these companies/people can buy millions of worth of Bitcoin why me just only a few less than a hundred - hundred worth of dollars just to buy Bitcoin?
These companies and people are inspirations for every one of us to own Bitcoin even only a few.
