1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alts Blood Bath for Feb? on: February 21, 2023, 04:26:21 AM
I'm not sure if this will be correct but for me? I think February is another stagnant month for bitcoin as we will stay from 20-25k or at least will break 30k usd.
(....)
(....)
actually what I mean is that the price had reached 24k this month but staying as is now as we are near closing the month , there is no argument that we had a great movement this month of February but what i wanna see is the price to reached 25 or at least 26k to be assured of the position.

but now we are just couple of bucks away to reach and may stay at 25k

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

congrats in advance to all of us.
Seems everything is focused on right now and Bitcoin is their leader.
I believe that most of the altcoins now are just following Bitcoin, so for me, Bitcoin will lead and altcoins will follow, just like normal pumps even before.
As long as Bitcoin will stay above $20,000 this month, it's a good sign for the market especially the altcoins.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB & BUSD Under Attack on: February 21, 2023, 04:23:42 AM
(....)
Recently there was news about USDC and before that a while ago there was an attack on USDT, I think it is a secret war led by the US in secret to eliminate Crypto.
Stablecoins FUD is already aged now. Before the USD Tether (USDT) is also like this, the attacks are unstoppable, with FUD everywhere. But look it now, USD Tether (USDT) is still here.
For me, the recent attack on Binance is their stablecoin's BUSD between Paxos. For me, all of these are just FUD, both parties already released their statements regarding with these.
1463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance's 98% Dominance: Should We Be Worried? on: February 21, 2023, 04:19:27 AM
Just incase the numbers are true, I can say it is somehow risky, that's why it is always much better to store your Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies to your personal wallets.
I believe that if incase Binance will fall or likely these amount of volume in the exchange will be compromised, I believe that there  will a huge negative effect for the entire cryptocurrency market.
1464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: February 21, 2023, 04:16:09 AM
(....)
My question is can someone that doesn't have any knowledge about trading and how the system work can he or she trade.

After been told it just for them to choice on the candles sticks if it's up the they want to choice or the one going up just with this idea can they trade with such an idea.
so I wan to know if it's right for sure person to begin trading?

Every trader out there started as a beginner. So. for me, it's either good or bad. Good if you trust the process if you learn and are dedicated to learning how to trade, and bad if you don't want to learn or you become greedy.
Trading is a difficult job for me, it involved money, and you may become bankrupt while trading which is the normal case, a lot of people already experienced this.
And take note, most of the beginners or new in trading are intended to stop trading because of various reason after there few trades.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If There Is A Ban on: February 21, 2023, 04:08:25 AM
(....)
Will I be negatively affected? Sure, but I'll be totally fine in the grand scheme of things. This is why no one should go 100% invested in bitcoin or in any asset at all, because of potential unforeseen circumstances.
I am also sure that the price of Bitcoin here will get a negative effect. But nevermind the price. I am imagining how they can track people using Bitcoin if they start imposing a law that using Bitcoin is illegal, lol.

About other countries will follow, I agree with this. United States of America is a country which became roles model for some countries, US is became a big player for the Bitcoin market.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best practices to prevent hackers from stealing our crypto assets on: February 20, 2023, 04:04:22 AM
For me, really matters here is how you will make your private keys or wallet seed phrases safe. Because let's say even if you use a hardware wallet but you store your wallet seed phrases not secure, it is still not safe at all. The downside of software wallets sometimes is just your device where your software wallets are stored is compromised or even your seed phrases are very prone.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: February 20, 2023, 04:00:38 AM
(.....)
Do you know the safest way to stake stablecoins without breaking the bank? Also, do you think it's worth it? Or should I consider other options? Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
There are a lot of platforms with this right now, you can use some platforms that are reputable, with high total value locked (TVL). Just like AAVE lending (https://defillama.com/protocol/aave)
I am glad that you are interested in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) because there are a lot of people that want to use the centralized exchange to stake their stablecoins compared to using decentralized finance (deFi).
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: February 20, 2023, 03:55:33 AM
For me, I trust stablecoins somehow. Because they will not get a huge market cap, or billions of markets if they are not trusted at all. But we must also be careful because there could be also a threat just like what happened on Terra stablecoin before which lost its value. So for me, it is also possible to happen to some stablecoins right now.

For me, if I will just convert my bitcoins or other altcoins to stablecoin, I rather hold some US dollars or in my local fiat currency than to hold stablecoins.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Convert USDC to USD and Withdraw Monies on: February 20, 2023, 03:46:45 AM
Have you tried P2P transactions? Some exchanges already got that now just as Binance, ByBit, or Kucoin.
I already tried before to do transactions on Binance P2P and Wise. Tip could be use Binance or ByBit with your USDC, since Binance don't cater USDC now, convert it to USDT if you want to use Binance else you can use ByBit.
1470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can golden cross on S & P chart trigger buying in Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2023, 03:22:44 AM

It seems that the price of S&P 500 index is correlated with Bitcoin just with a twist. Because as you can see, the volatility of Bitcoin is extremely high.
As you can see on the chart, both of these assets went down and up together but by the same percentage at.
So for me, they have correlated somehow. So for me, this golden cross on S & P chart is a good sign also for Bitcoin.
1471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If it was you on: February 20, 2023, 03:03:26 AM
(.....)
Spot can be a nice start for newbies from what i have seen from the market so far. Since it only entails buying and holding until the asset appreciates just that it will only require patience since little or no technical skill is needed although with technical skill the trader can have more advantage over the market.
If your position is a long position, then you can start with spot trading if you are new to trading or just doing some lessons or practicing. But you can also do it on futures trading with leverage but set the leverage to very small leverage.
Setting it to low leverage will help you to minimize the risk and losses. For me, it will not really matter at all if you just know how to do risk management and not be greedy.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My List of Altcoins - Discussion and Predictions on: February 20, 2023, 02:39:39 AM
If you want to gamble and want HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD. Go for meme coins like Shiba Inu and Dogelon Mars (ELON).
Avoid Stellar (XLM), Stellar is already aged and I don't think it will be good to compare or combine it with these new meme coins.
My tip is to be careful because they have high volatility and they are considered as "meme" coins.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Altcoins in the AI & Big data category become more popular in 2023? on: February 20, 2023, 02:34:41 AM
(....)
As expected, AI tokens will see its boom, but will eventually fall after the hype is gone.
I agree, this is just like what happened on NFT  before. But if AI is really useful to be using cryptocurrency, then for me after the hype, these projects will stay and continue.
For example, the use case is Decentralized Finance (DeFi) which we already saw the hype before and later on cooled down, and still here, still lot of platforms that in Decentralized Platform (DeFi) and total value locked (TVL) are growing because they have real-life use.
1474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantage and disadvantage of cryptocurrency on: February 20, 2023, 02:30:18 AM
Wow, I considered this topic interested because we should have clarity in the mist of sugar. You know sugar taste sweet but abuse of it can leads to diabetes. Cryptosystem is wide spread Disadvantages;
* it can be time consuming
(.....)
Why it is time-consuming?
Paying cryptocurrency is like paying from your digital wallet for some platform, you will always need an internet connection.
If both parties are ready and capable the seller can easily provide an invoice or a way to pay your payments, it's easy. Speaking of transactions getting approved, there are a lot of cryptocurrencies right now that can do this, even in Bitcoin using the lightning network.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future of bitcoin without powerful nations? on: February 20, 2023, 02:26:21 AM
What do you is the future of bitcoin at this point?
Do nations or people have power over bitcoin price regulations?
(...)
For me, this kind of issue will not matter at all since Bitcoin was created to be decentralized like everyone can use Bitcoin. So for me, this is not the point at all because even how powerful a nation is it can't control Bitcoin, they can't take down Bitcoin or what.
1476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Common Mistakes Made by New Crypto Investors on: February 20, 2023, 02:19:15 AM
-Lack of Basic Crypto Knowledge: Some people are drawn to cryptocurrency because of the excitement and profits associated with it. As a result, people become obsessed with making money and fail to understand how it works. Without the proper understanding, you run the risk of losing your assets quickly.
For me, this is a common mistake for new people entering the cryptocurrency world.
While this is a MUST-HAVE thing to have when you are in cryptocurrency. Basics will help you to be safe, smart, and profitable whenever which path you will pursue in the world of cryptocurrencies especially in investing.
1477  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which BTC/mining related stock seems most promising going forward? on: February 20, 2023, 01:45:16 AM
I am curious if a company is related to Bitcoin like Bitcoin mining, why buy Bitcoin instead? Because as far as I know, these kinds of the company seem also correlated with the price of Bitcoin. Just seems like a cryptocurrency exchange, best example is Coinbase stock, which seems also correlated with the price of Bitcoin.
1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bolt driver experience: promoting bitcoin in my business on: February 20, 2023, 01:41:05 AM
I want to know how the transaction went, like where the rider or customer paid. Like his/her Bitcoin from a personal wallet or from an exchange, and for OP, are you using some payment processor to process the Bitcoin payments? Or just using a personal wallet or exchange account to receive the Bitcoin payments?
Overall, congratulations, OP! Keep it up.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: reasons why someone wants to pay in tether and not bitcoin? on: February 19, 2023, 10:35:04 PM
tether is traceable just like btc right?  So there isn't anything involving that?
Traceable, what do you mean by that I am sure it is easier to trace tether since it is centralized and under the control of the team, which makes it possible for it to be locked even while it is in your private wallet.
-But Bitcoin on the other hand have the freedom from external influences which makes it easier for both holders and merchants to have total control and freedom over their Bitcoin holding.
I think this is not the issue for OP. The goal of OP is to pay someone with cryptocurrency which is either Bitcoin or USD Tether(USDT). So for me, there are a lot of payment processors now that accept both cryptocurrencies or even other alternative cryptocurrencies.
Using USDT Tether for me is like using fiat currencies in a digital way, you can avoid the volatility of cryptocurrencies.
1480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity vs. KYC: The Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: February 19, 2023, 10:29:35 PM
(....)
So, what are your thoughts on exchanges with and without KYC? Do you prefer exchanges with strict KYC requirements, or do you value anonymity and privacy more and prefer to use exchanges with little to no verification process? What are the disadvantages and advantages of each approach? And what measures do you take to ensure your anonymity when exchanging cryptocurrencies?
With the birth of decentralized exchanges (DEX) now, it's now very easy to trade without even signing up for some exchanges.
But there are some people who prefer using centralized exchanges and are not comfortable using decentralized exchanges.
About KYC, seems this is becoming normalized for some people, but to be honest, I really find it annoying and am afraid to trust my personal identities for some people, it's invading my private data.
