Now it's asking me to send some btc from an address I control, what a hassle! I expected to avoid that by having my own Byteball address Having your own byteball address isn't enough to receive blackbytes, you need it to be linked to a bitcoin address. For that you are not obliged to send a micropayment, you can sign your byteball address with your bitcoin address, and give the signature to the bot to link both addresses.

hey guys, i have byteballs in my wallet. when i ask the transition bot it tells me i need to link my bitcoin wallet. but i just want to have my byteball wallet linked. how do i do that
The only way is to link a bitcoin address to a byteball address (you need both). That is if you want to get blackbytes. It doesn't matter if your bitcoin address is empty.

Le projet est en pause actuellement (pour ne pas dire abandonné). Je n'ai pas plus d'infos pour l'instant sur les raisons de cette pause. Si j'arrive à les avoir, j'ajouterai un post dans ce sens.

Is there an explaination how to use the trading bot in slack channel #trading_blackbyte? Do I need to post a special command to add my offer to bid or ask orders?
The trading bot only serves as a book to record potential offers, and might not be a good indicator of the market. Anyone can set any order and vanish, orders do not get filled automatically ... You can go to the channel and enter OTC, it will list the commands. You'll also surely see commands entered by users in the previous messages.

how many byteball will be free giveaways this time?
Currently, there are: - ~117 610 GB in circulation, for those, 11 761 GB will be distrubted (10%). - ~111 257 BTC on linked addresses, for those, 6 953 GB will be distributed (0.0625 GB per BTC). The total is 18 714 GB, that is 1.87% of the total supply for the time being.

Can someone tell me how to swap BTCD into komodo coin? And Is there iguana for windows 10? Someone else has said if it gets crash.
To swap BTCD to Komodo first get an account in http://ico.komodoplatform.com and PLEASE save the wallet seed in safe place. A new komodo wallet address will be generated . Under the menu swap you can see there is an address where you can send your BTCD. Wait till confirmation then request for a payout . Dear jwiz168, I'm also interested in knowing how to swap BTCD into KMD but your answer did not point it out correctly and I will be happy if you can explain in details because your explanation seems to be like a dead end to me. After waiting for the confirmation then request for a payout will the BTCD automatically swap into KMD just like that? BTCD does not automatically swap. Dev are the one who will do it then by batches they will convert your btcd into equivalent kmd and send it to your generated wallet. So if still your kmd has not yet arrived, notify jl777 to take a look at your swapping information . Technically, the swap is done automatically but the payout is done manually. hulla, jwiz168's instructions seem pretty clear. Assuming you have BTCD you want to swap, as jwiz168 said, create an account on http://ico.komodoplatform.com, click on the tab named SWAP to get your BTCD address for the swap and send your BTCD to it. Once you've done that, there is no going back, and you'll have the corresponding KMD depending on the displayed rate. That's it for the swap. To get your Komodos, click on the tab named PAYOUT and follow the instructions, as jwiz168 said payouts are done manually in batches, the last one was yesterday (Friday), the next one will be on next Friday if there are enough payout requests, otherwise, it will wait an additional week.

I sent my funds out of my ico account into the wallet address provided within my ico account. status says sent but i dont know where they are. You mean you requested a payout? If you did after the last batch has been processed then you are good to wait for the next batch (Friday if there are enough payout requests). Otherwise, if you were in the last batch, then what does the explorer ( https://kpx.io) say about your address?

Hello, I received my first Byteballs and the corresponding private coins of Byteball (I think they are called BlackBytes). I read about that Byteballs can be traded on two exchanges. I want to sell or convert BlackBytes in Bytballs or Bitcoin. Is this somehow possible? I would appreciate your help!
You received bytes and blackbytes. Generally they are traded using giga units: 1 gigabyte = 1 gbyte = 1 gb = 10 9 byte and 1 gigablackbyte = 1 gbb = 10 9 blackbyte. You can trade bytes on https://cryptox.pl or over the counter either on https://byteball.slack.com (#trading), on https://ydx.slack.com (#gb_btc) or by posting in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1728405. You can also use the in-wallet exchange bot as suggested by some, however you should mind the fact that you cannot cancel an order. You can trade blackbytes only over the counter at #trading_blackbyte on https://byteball.slack.com, #gbb_btc on https://ydx.slack.com or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1728405. For your information, an in-wallet exchange for blackbytes is in development.

The trading bot doesn't permit to cancel an order, so please if anyone advises on using it, it would probably be useful to mention this for any new comer who doesn't know it. Yes, you can work around it by filling your own orders, but this means you should have the corresponding funds, otherwise your order (and funds) is just stuck ...

Buy buy but buy
Why why wht why? Either you have good reasons or you are just encouraging people to buy a scam coin, cuz this is really what this seems to be (from a very objective point of vue).

Can you link more than one bitcoin address to ONE byteball address. If so, how? I guess I should just talk to the transitionbot and post my btc public key, is this right?
Yes you can. If your current Byteball address isn't the one you want to link to, then you should first enter your Byteball address, then your Bitcoin address, the bot will then wait for a signed message, give it to it and it will link the addresses.

Ok now i got it! I restored my accounts. Now i have 5 Back up the private keys of your addresses, just in case (you damage your wallet database). Right click on an address, then View Private Key and save what's in the WIF field. Cool , you are welcome.

Thanks for your help i really appreciate. actually i don't check this system. I bought ANTS on my ICO and some ANTS on yunbi. Everything i send to my wallet. Now my Bittrex Wallet is ok. My Ants Wallet 9,776 ANTS are missing.
But this change adress did not appear in my wallet. How can i refresh it? That's odd because it should be your second address (at least). When you created the wallet, an address was automatically created with it, you then imported your private key to add your ICO address so you should at least have two addresses. Once synced and with the wallet open, try clicking on Wallet > Rebuild Index.

I understand there are 2 kinds of assets. bytes and blackbytes, the latter being for anonymous transactions.
blackbytes are rather private, when you activate TOR they become anonymous. Does that make blackbytes generally more valuable than bytes?
Currently, given the fact that all is given for free, that holding bytes is somehow incentivized by the rules of distribution, and that bytes can be exchanged against BTC (mainly on Cryptox), the market doesn't give blackbytes much value ... But yes for users to whom privacy matters, blackbytes should be more valuable. How come the exchange currently available only lists bytes? Is it because it's impossible to list blackbytes, due to their nature or simply they haven't done it yet?
It is a bit troublesome, as deposits and witthdrawls won't be automatic, either they would be processed manually or we can imagine chatting with a bot to deposit/withdraw. That's because to send/receive them, both devices should be paired, and payment requests done through a chat interface. Is it possible to convert or automatically trade between the two assets?
Not for the time being. Because if not, essentially we are talking about two entirely unrelated assets here, right?
For now the only relation is that you need bytes to pay for blackbytes' transaction fees.

Now i see my balance on my wallet. But i still got a serious problem. i did a transaction on the 12/27/2016 of 11067 ANTS to my Bittrex account but now i see there was second transaction at the same time of 9776 ANTS. The second one i haven't done!!!! Very strange and i really don't know how this could happen! Is it possible to find out to which wallet this 9776 ANTS went? Sorry for this question but i am a noob! https://i.imgur.com/9uJ7Uj3.pngWhat you have there is the change sent to your change address (which is also yours). You had 20843 on ATa..., you then sent 11067 to AYm..., when you did that, the rest of your balance (the change) was sent to AbE.... In your wallet, this address should also appear. More on change addresses: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Change.

I have a question. If you look at the bitcointalk account pricer, my last activity update was on Feb 14th. https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=mj3infoiSo would it not be a good estimate that on March 1st, my activity should have increased by 14? That would be the 15th day, which would have put me at a Junior Member. Its March 2nd, and still a newbie. Am I missing something with the activity? Maybe a 28 day month has something to do with it? I have to edit it now, but it just changed. So it may have had something to do with the 28 day month, that I'm quite unsure, but I has updated today which is 16th day. Your activity updates once you post a message when the new activity period starts. Your before last message was on Feb the 27 th (the new activity period hadn't started yet at that time). You triggered your activity update with the message you last posted today. As you noticed, your activity updated once you posted that message.

What do you mean prepared, whether, the launch of which will be provided by the developer ?? It simply just means that they will not be holding it starting from today as was planned but that they are making preparations (whatever that includes) to hold it on a later date. You can not just launch an ICO out of the blue, they prepared for phase 1, launched it, closed it and now they are preparing for phase 2. We'll probably have more info once they decide on a date (if they ever do ...). Let them come out for another ICO, I can quarantee them noone will invest into it, the developer disappear after the first one, another thing that I've learnt from Synereo and Antshare second ICO is that one will surely get burnt I agree that second ICOers will probably be dumped on by first ICOers when EGS hits exchanges, unless second ICO price is more attractive ... Anyway, the strategy here doesn't seem clear. For starters, they made it sound like EGS might get listed on exchanges before the second ICO, which doesn't make sense. Then, there are many ICO phases planned, and it still doesn't make sense to list EGS on an exchange as long as ICO phases are planned. Moreover, if the price in the subsequent phases is higher than in the first, then new investors will be dumped on as soon as this is exchangeable. I really don't see the motives behind this, and it's too bad that no one steps forward to explain what is really the goal here ...

my wallet doesn't show my balance
Did you try opening your database in rebuild mode and/or rebuild the index when your wallet is opened? if i go to antch.in and check my balance i see a wrong one. Any suggestions?
Do you have many addresses? For instance, if you participated in the ICO you had one address. When you created your wallet, you had a second; and if you did transactions, it probably got used as a change address. So did you check all the addresses from your wallet on the explorer?

Hi, I have the seed + user folder from ver. 1.3 and I would like to reinstall the wallet on a new computer. How do I do that with 1.4? when do I insert the old seed? do I just overwrite theh user folder? thank you.
If you have blackbytes and want to keep them then seed words are not enough, you need to copy/backup the user folder to the new computer, then just run the newer version and it should all work fine. Did you try using a folder backed up on one computer, on another one? I remember reading about users who tried it and it didn't work (even though it was the same operating system on both computers).

How many rounds are there in total?
The number of rounds is not known in advance, it will depend on the rules (if they stay the same or change) and on the linked BTC amount.
