But overall i do agree with your post. PIG-3 players, especially Indian players gets only a slap on the wrist for any disciplinary breach.

Clearly ICC is in hands of big 3 and there players enjoy powers of these boards. Australia already have supreme powers in cricket along with England but now India has surpassed them. There is no regulating body in cricket right now as anyone who is financially rich can do whatever he wants. Irony.

India and Pakistan are neighboring countries so they have a similar sort of environment. Even though the cases of omicron are very high in both countries but Pakistan is hosting PSL and it will be starting in less than a week. I hope the situation remains under control and we see non-stop interesting PSL matches.
Remember, last year both PSL and IPL were stopped in between and later resumed after a few months. Let's hope the same does not happen this time again.

News for PSL are not good as PCB confirmed that for PSL 2022, "Three players, five support staff test positive for Covid-19. Source espncricinfo.com". Foreign players are reluctant to travel to Pakistan for PSL, can you tell who is coming from England, NZ, Aus ?

I agree with this. Statistics can be deceiving. If we go solely by stats, then Shardul and Ashwin may look far better options when compared to Jadeja. But from what I can recall from all these years, Jadeja has performed under pressure, during crucial situations. Matches India won as a result of Jadeja may be far more than the number of the matches India won as a result of Shardul and Ashwin. And in the end it should matter. What is the point in having personal milestones, when you can't guide your team to a win?

Shardul is very new to Indian side, so he can't be compared with Jadeja. Any player that plays for himself rather then team must be limited to leagues only, as there is no place for players in national team who don't care for the team. Overall its downtime for Indian team and they will have it for year or two.

most projects can't get out of beta stage owed to insufficient or lack of funds. is there an assurance that your platform will be fully launched without the need of public sale? the objectives of the platform seem great but the implementation stage is the common burden of most devs.
we will see how far you can go from here and truly deploy your mega app.

Your point is valid and the main reason for this is that projects mostly rely only on crowdfunding to raise money for there projects they dont reach out private investors who can be a good source of funding. These days crowdfunding is getting tougher and tougher as investors are cautious because of scam,

Everyone knows that the market is in a state of rest right now, so I think it's good to focus on high-cap coins because they have a good chance of going higher in the future, this BOOM is a low-cap coin so I really doubt if this coin can grow when the market will improve again in the future. for a while I personally am reluctant to make purchases of coins that have very low ratings on CMC.

There is no doubt that crypto market is taking break right now and we have no idea how low this market will go and also for how long. This also gives us opportunity to buy our favorite coins at discounted price. The best season to buy any coin is when its very much down in value and thats what BOOM is right now.

Agree here now next generation can read and check videos about these Legendary players, and we are going into new era where just money is priority instead of quality and new formats like Twenty/20, Ten/10 and 100 Leagues producing just robots not quality players so this all is going to be very useless in next few years.

Leagues will take place of them, and we will watch just few events like we have in Soccer for team events after every 2 or 4 years. Things going to be changed but sadly right now covid19 is having his own impact on this world which is hurting very badly even now we have vaccine and many other things for better safety but still lock-downs and social distance things are very sticking in many countries which is not going to end in near future.

If waqar and Wasim can do that then new players like shaheen and hassan can do that also. But since there is very little test and odi left so such techniques are not much seen. T20 is the future whether we like it or not.
Covid19 is not going anywhere. Its better we start living with this virus and accept it as part of our lives. Even vaccine is no defense against this virus.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 22, 2022, 10:39:00 AM

When we look at India as a big cricket-playing nation which has a really big effect on almost every sphere of cricket, I believe that they are not quiet and 'example setting' teams. With all the resources and talent they have, they have to be doing better to manage the team and also look at players' mental health.

And also there is a point when people should understand that something is too early for a player and he needs to be given more time or he needs to get more experienced for certain responsibilities.

We can clearly see that the responsibility which was given to Rahul was not even worth an experiment. And the amount of toxicity in the team is not helping the cause at all and that is the main reason why the mental health of every player should be monitored with great caution. But as of now, Rohit Sharma must be the best man to get the captaincy of India.

Indians are only good in IPL where boundaries are short and pitches are suitable for hitting. See there performance in T20 WC after IPL, it was a complete failure. Rohit Sharma is ideal for captaincy,  just give him a chance for a year and see how things work. You can't expect results straight away from a change.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 22, 2022, 10:34:04 AM

The Indian team is going through a very bad phase same result in a different format. I never expected them to lose so easily if they bat well then they will bowl bad and vice versa. 287 was not at all a bad score but the Indian bowlers were not able to take wickets. Malan and De Kock were at their best once again. They both are the reason why South Africa are now leading this series by 2-0.

This thread is about test series so I will focus more on test then ODI. Indian start of test series was great they won the first match without there star batsman kohli but after that SA never allowed them to come back in series. The main issue is in Indian batting line up specially in the the top order. India is always best at home but they can't beat teams like SA at there home.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥶 Winter Beijin 2022 🥶 Discussion and bet thread 🥶 Winter Game 🥶 on: January 21, 2022, 10:39:02 AM
That's a good approach. If we want to move things with covid19 then we have to place such restrictions. Even with such restricted approach you cant guarantee there will be zero covid19 case in winter Olympics but good thing is winter Olympics are going to start on scheduled date. I am excited to see ice hockey in action.
I don't want to go into politics too much, but I don't think that measures that China or Australia is taking against covid19 isn't normal. As you said, it's not possible to reach 0 covid19 cases and all these very strict measures affect peoples life in negative way too much.
As for Olympics, it's somewhat understandable that athletes will live in the bubble with daily testing and other stuff that we saw in Summer Olympics. IMagine, atheletes prepare for Olympics for 4 years and they miss chance to participate in most important competition because of Covid. It would be so pity.

And the administration must have some plan to continue the games even if there are some Covid-19 cases comes up, I am sure they have some plan for that. I have the feeling that with time the fear of this virus is getting down and in few years it will be like a normal virus. China can cope this virus better then anyother country.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 21, 2022, 10:31:18 AM

Even he doesn't contribute (either with the bat, or with the ball) for another 3 years, he will be in the team. When Kohli was fired, I thought that things would change. But the toxic nepotism and bias remain with the team. KL Rahul is also part of the system, so there is no real change. The way he refused to allow Venkatesh Iyer to bowl during the match once again shows the dirty tactics employed by the senior player cabal, to keep out promising youngsters. And that is the reason why I always wanted someone from outside the cabal as the captain (Shreyas Iyer for example).

Ahmedabad franchise is all set to appoint Pandya as captain, did this mean they also have nepotism that's why they are appointing him as captain? The point is he has proved himself as a hard hitter batsman just like shahid afridi. Shahid afridi was one of the greatest loser cricket has ever seen but still he managed to play 400 ODI's from Pakistan.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 21, 2022, 10:24:44 AM

Nowadays people don't have enough time to spend an entire day to watch ODI or test matches. The traditionalists will be aghast at this, but the only way for U-19 world cup to attract the fans is to change the format to a shorter one (ideally T20). You can compare the views they received on their live streaming page, to the viewership figures they had in the previous tournaments. It shows a continuous decline. Changing the format to T20 will lessen the workload for the younger players as well.

Main reason why football is so hit is because its played in short duration. You just need 90 min to complete a game of football. Cricket is slow to progress just because it take complete day to play in case of odi. You are right if we want to see cricket in more countries then introduce shorter format of the game.
I am a cricket lover so I am against it. T20 cricket is fun but the real meaning of cricket is in test matches and then ODI's. The real class of a player shows there. In T20 matches we dont see much classical shots , batsman fighting it out, bowler swinging the new ball and then spinners spinning the ball. All these things are missing from t20 cricket.

You got it right, real cricket is Test and somewhat ODI. But today's commercial era is fully controlled by advertising media who interest lies in T20 only. Real bowler is one who can find a wicket in Test but in T20 you can get wicket easily even on bad balls. Test series like Ashes are only given some importance rest are just formalities.

Sri Lanka are now playing the last ODI match of the series against Zimbabwe. Although Sri Lanka won the first match, they lost the second match. Batting first in both the matches, Zimbabwe set a target of 296 and 303 runs respectively.Today, Sri Lanka won the toss and was elected to the bat first. Zimbabwe's batsmen have played well in the last two matches. So in today's match if Sri Lanka gives less than 300 target then maybe they will lose.

Afghanistan is now playing against the Netherlands. The first match of the three-match ODI series is being held today. Afghanistan collected 110/2 in 28 overs. Afghanistan's bowling is good enough. They shouldn't have a problem winning against the Netherlands.

Lots of ODI cricket going on, SL/Zim - Afghan/NED and India/SA. Zim SL series is tied at the moment as both have won one match. Today probability of win for SL is more 85% then Zim 15%. Bet at your own risk, these odds may deceive you badly. Its good to see ODI cricket going on as most of times we have leagues in progress.

In the wake of the Covid-19 Omicron scare, will IPL 2022 be held overseas? After the amid Covid-19 Omicron scare, many star players are likely to miss games.

Last time the IPL was shifted because the situation in India was worse when compared to the other countries. Also, at that point the vaccination rate in India was far below the that in neighboring nations. The situation has changed now. More than 90% of the adult population is vaccinated and now the COVID situation is better when compared to the SENA nations. From what I could understand, the only concern is regarding the tax liability. Staging the IPL in India would mean the BCCI paying around 43% of the revenues as tax. Last time they didn't had to pay any, as matches were hosted in the UAE.

I don't know what you are talking about. UAE is the most expensive place to host any sort of tournament. PCB gave up having bilateral series there since it costed them way more. Also there are many industries associated with ipl that flourish if you host it in India. If hosting in India is the bad then why bcci hosting it in India for over 10.year?
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 20, 2022, 01:46:39 AM

Yes, too much cricket and the leagues gaining importance is the major reason why there is loss of interest over Test cricket and ODI in particular. In this year everyday we've got cricket, and people who are attached to it keep watching unlike the teams. However a large viewership have decreased. Few years back people used to watch ODI from the toss to the end of the match. Later after IPL emergence I used to see people watching it over the smartphones while on travel through public transports.

We have to agree that good old days of odi and test cricket are numbered. The future of cricket is in shorter formet aka T20. T20 leagues are giving too much money to players that's why they are more interested in leagues then in test and odi. ICC also seem to be more interested in T20 then odi and tests.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 20, 2022, 01:38:38 AM
Only because of him useless players such as Hardick Pandya could find a place in the playing XI.
Hardik Pandya : Useless player? I disagree. His form went down the drain recently, but he is easily one of the best all-rounders that India has ever produced in the ODI and T-20 formats.

I do agree that Pandya was once a best all rounder in Indian cricket team. He is still a strong pick in IPL despite his bad form. There are rumours that he is selected in Indian team only because of his friendship with kohli. He must take some break and try to regain his form.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 20, 2022, 01:37:02 AM

Yeah, a bad start for team India in the ODI series after a bad end in the test series. Inexperienced South African players has batted well than the experienced Indian batters. Seems like Indian players are struggling in every format in this away series. Anyway, I'm expecting a strong come back from them in the next match. Still they have the opportunity to win the ODI series by showing better performance in the upcoming matches.

India will definitely try there best to win this series but its SA that is showing exceptional performance in this series. Indians were favorite for this series but the Kohli/BCCI tussle is badly hurting Indian cricket team performance. India don't have good bilateral series record at SA, it was expected India will change that record this time.

Ireland won the last match of the series against West Indies and thereby won the series 2-1. I guess this is their first ODI series victory against a full member. It was a very close match and at one point West Indies were struggling at 119/7. But then the Ireland bowlers gave away too many runs towards the end, allowing West Indies to put up a total in excess of 200. And while chasing this moderate target, there was a wobble from Ireland towards the end, before Craig Young managed to hit the winning runs.

Now Ireland has 68 points from 18 matches in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. They have two more series remaining.

West Indies bad days are yet to be over rather they are getting worsen day by day. Ireland is a team that can do upset against test playing team but cant beat it in a bilateral series. This win clearly indicates the level of West Indies team these days. Very soon they have to give up there test playing status.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history. on: January 17, 2022, 08:26:27 AM

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency business is a worldwide business that cannot be controlled by some country or authority. This business is free from all the limits of borders or countries. This business has great potential & momentum in it. Due to blockchain technology, people have great trust in bitcoin. people of all ages from the whole world are joining ignoring, it is legal or illegal.

Yes if you talk about decentralized bitcoin then its impossible to ban it. Governments and other centralized agencies can only ban or control centralized crypto like xrp, usdt, exchanges like binance etc. We see such posts again and again because people are not paying attention to the fact that there is no way a decentralized entity like btc can be controlled.

Its not about how many features you offering rather its about providing few features with quality, quality vs quantity. Its better to provide few features but with good quality rather then providing so many features which you cant handle.

Cant agree more. Now a days everyone is in rush of launching product without taking care of necessary QA to the product. That's why investors are very much reluctant in investing money to new products. It must be kept in mind that QA factor in blockchain is as important as in other sectors, new ICOs must not ignore this factor.
