621  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Feature idea: give DT1 the ability to remove specific feedbacks from DT on: October 24, 2023, 12:48:27 PM
How will it help? Of course many DT members can in such case vote against tags from both sides, but these tags are left on a base of emotions and those emotions are still strong, so we'll just get a new level of drama. There are several DT members in that topic who recommended to remove those tags, but there's no positive result. If we'll remove those tags basing on voting, what will prevent the drama participants of leaving new ones? If it was on rational base, it could be solved by arguments, but what is based on emotions... I don't think removing those tags through voting can solve the problem you mentioned. Unfortunately.
You nailed it. With the current DT system step up. It won't help that much, in fact it will lead to more chaos. In the new drama that Plaguedeath refers to, the case can easily be solved by both members agreeing to remove the feedback from each other's profile and ignore each other afterward. Simple as that. Both members are trustworthy or are not likely to scam, but the problem is maybe with the egos surrounding the feedback they left each other.

On giving the DT1 the ability to remove specific feedbacks from DT, maybe there would be an additional clause like if a DT member gets his feedback revoked after a specified number of times, all his future trust ratings would no longer show up under trusted feedback but rather under Untrusted feedback. This would preserve the past accurate feedback
But with all this, it would mean the DT system would need an overhaul, and I don't think we are all ready for the drama that ensures afterward.
622  Other / Archival / Re: 🦇 [banned mixer] - Maximum Anonymity 📌 Fees 1 - 5‰ on: October 24, 2023, 12:23:39 PM
Friends, I want to inform you that the rebranding of the site is already at the final stage. But nevertheless we are faced with a dilemma! We like both versions of one of the main blocks and would like to hear your opinion (which option do you like better). Any opinion is greatly appreciated!  Smiley
Both are refreshed designs compared to the current one but the problem is that the images you posted are blurred especially when I try to zoom in for a clear view so it's hard to choose between the two.
Maybe you could try uploading the images of the two versions individually. But i like the general outlook of the new design.
623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buttons and tools on: October 23, 2023, 11:56:44 PM
Is it just me that doesn’t see the checkboxes on the right hand side of the screen as shown in one of the  OP's images under "Thread Marking", or is it a general thing. I’ve looked over the forum settings to see if there’s an entry to configure viewing the column, but haven’t managed to find it. I’ve tried it with different browsers but still I can’t get to see the said column. Not that I’d probably use it, but I’m wondering why I can’t see the darn column.
OP probably set up his account that way

You can also set it by heading over to Profile ---> Look and Layout Preferences ---> Show quick-moderation on message index as "checkboxes" right at the bottom. The default is "don't show"

624  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: TrustWallet on: October 23, 2023, 11:21:56 PM
Hello
Does anyone else have an issue with the new version (8+) of Trust wallet when using dApps ?
When I connect to some dApps the first screen to approve the connexion pops up as usual but then when I am using the dApps I don't receive any prompts to confirm any transaction anymore. When I check in the WaletConnect section I see the dApps are connected to my wallet, but I don't receive anything from them whatever I do expect the connection confirmation when I try to connect them. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? I specify that right before the upgrade of the wallet everything was working fine.
I just checked out the trustwallet's ratings page on Google Play store and it seems the new update is buggy and unstable with lots of people complaining after the update ranging from not being able to login, vanished transaction histories to not displaying tokens though they were initially visible in the old version. So, I think you are not the only one affected by some bugs after the update.
625  Other / Meta / Re: Wallet Software Board Need General Wallet Thread - Complicated Task For Admin on: October 23, 2023, 10:56:23 PM
Anyone that is active on wallet software have no need of any new thread about bitcoin wallets. In my opinion, it is perfect as it is.
Might seem perfect and easy for you but not to a newbie or guest user who is not yet accustomed to the forum. A pinned post like this one found in the Electrum sub-board is an icing on the cake and it does no harm
626  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: swaplab.io simple-swap.net swapslab.cc and other phishing swaplab websites on: October 23, 2023, 10:38:40 PM
Feel free to check the twitter account, but there is not so much to see.
The profile's tweets are set to private. It could do better if people were able to see, reply and quote the tweets minus first having to get approved.

627  Other / Meta / Re: Wallet Software Board Need General Wallet Thread - Complicated Task For Admin on: October 23, 2023, 10:28:57 PM
There are many various wallets already and also various problems with them. For example, with Electrum, Atomic and Coinomi wallets.
So would be wise to have the general thread about various wallets in Wallet software board, like this one -
[General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?
.
But the problem is that this thread is already in Beginners & Help board for newbies, and to have it in another board too can be complicated task for admin.
May be forum members can help, how to solve the problem ? For example, just make the second duplicate thread, and then make changes in both threads.
The referenced thread is has lots of undated information. A lot of things have changed. Jaxx Liberty wallet has been retired, Wasabi isn't the same privacy focused wallet we used to know, Xapo, Worst of the worst. I don't think it's even a wallet Etc

OP this is a community thing. You can also create a very good thread like Lauda did and try to maintain it as much as possible and request for Admin to Pin it. They can pin it if it's very good and informative.
628  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Change e-mail in MERCATOX long wait no results on: October 23, 2023, 10:02:59 PM
I saw this message on their Telegram New channel

The problem with sending emails is completely resolved.

Good luck in the forthcoming trades.
Mercatox team

sang880 please check and see if your issue has been resolved. I think their mailing system has been having technical issues and took them a long time to work on it or rather update us about the new developments.

629  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] AUSTRIA AND CROATIA SIM CARDS on: October 22, 2023, 11:49:13 PM
I would be also interested. Prefer anonymous cards.
How about creating your own ANN thread? perhaps you would attract more audience than just commenting on someone else announcement thread about the same servcie

Also OP is sort  of a shady character based on his trust feedback so not so many folks would trust me that much.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling 500,000 of bitcoin bnb (BITCOINBNB) on: October 22, 2023, 11:40:42 PM
What payment methods do you accept?
What the fuck is BitcoinBNB?

You really want to buy scam shitcoins?  Grin Grin Grin
But don't come back here complaining after you have been scammed offer your BTC or ETH.
631  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Usdt To Perfect Money Exchange on: October 22, 2023, 11:36:49 PM
How do you classify a Bitcointalk verified member, are you in anyway talking of reputable DT member?
English is probably not his native language

But even with the conditions OP set. No one in their right mind is going to think of trading with him unless he makes a good offer because he is the one in need of the funds on top of him having a newbie rank.
632  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: October 21, 2023, 12:08:16 PM
I am lobbying for support of this type 2 flag created by a newbie so that It becomes active. The thread was later on moved to investigations board and right after the scam accusation was created so I had to try and help me

User: PayWithAnon
Flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3234
Flat type: 2
Reason: Refused to pay up for the services rendered to him

633  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: October 21, 2023, 11:57:16 AM
The trust list used to show weekly data. Is it not available anymore?
If you want to check the previous weekly data you can use last week's link http://loyce.club/trust/2023-10-14_Sat_05.07h/

I think LoyceV hasn't yet merged the current week's data.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling 1488 Pi coins on: October 20, 2023, 11:55:47 PM
Pm your tg.

You haven't allowed newbie accounts to send you DMs. You can PM me yours

You are probably going to get scammed by that hopeless guy (Support@web3devs) if you are not keen enough. He already has some red tags and scammed someone off their pi coins. Not that I care about pi coins but they might be of value to you.

User Support@web3devs Scammed 100 Pi coin
635  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] heliuminers.com is a Scam site. The real site is helium.com on: October 20, 2023, 11:44:12 PM
You all probably have but I think that we should be telling people about these scam websites because scamming people is not okay. We should not be doing that, so tell people on other social media. Tell them "Hey these websites are scamming people". I think that we should do that.  We should spread the word as much as we can.  Facebook. Instagram. All of the things.  I don't even think I will use bitcointalk.org, but I just wanted to say my peace and defend the people here because I know satcounter is a liar.
We do try to warn people whenever we can, unfortunately some people don't do any simple research before sending money to the scammers. They only remember to look for such threads when they have already been scammed

Anyone who tried to google heliumers.com won't miss out seeing this scam accusation

There is this one also that turned out to be a serious scam - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/heliuminers.net
636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 31 days later.. Testing own strategy on: October 20, 2023, 11:17:14 PM
Do you have a specified amount of profit or stop loss you are willing to take per trade or is that all random for you?
Secondly, for the returns you made after one month, I was quite surprised that the trading fees did don't affect your profit that much.

I like this idea of trading challenges or journals. Keep up. I have been thinking of creating my own though I am still inconsistent because of lack of enough screen time lately.
637  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: October 17, 2023, 11:56:26 PM
For example, I saw a user who made a mistake and sent the minimum amount for mixing of 0.001, but in two transactions, from two different addresses.
Some users are also to blame. The telegram group has all the information in the pinned post, which has been there since October last year, but they don't even bother to read. Even when mixing, there is a massage stating that minimum is 0.001 BTC and that the deposit address should only be used once. I guess that person did even bother reading the information.

Entered my address and clicked on mix coins, and then I see a blurred screen and these 3 boxes that seem to be spinning around forever. Is this normal behavior with Sinbad mixer?

638  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] The Anon virtual VISA card, No personal information needed. on: October 17, 2023, 10:58:36 PM
OP, why are you opening up multiple Announcement threads of the same service?
Are you aware this is not allowed

I noticed in the other thread, there is a dispute that hasn't been resolved, and it seems to me that you are trying to wipe the slate clean by creating a new thread

We paid our dues.
Can you provide us proof that you indeed made payment because your accuser says you didn't pay anything?
639  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: October 17, 2023, 10:08:32 PM
What are your thoughts about this campaign in the long run? For sure, local boards will become active again.
Their money, their rules  Smiley

But from what I can see they will most likely get applications from users who haven't been accepted in other campaigns such as
1. Accounts that have just woken up after long gaps without posting.
2. Low post quality users.
3. Users that are not so good with the English boards

Bitvest and 777coin signature campaign is one of the oldest campaigns. I have been a part of this campaign back in my early forum days. They used to pay this little amount at that time too. Well, $40 max pay for Legendary seems low though. If I'm correct, I used to get around $35 for 60 posts per week back in 2019/20.
In 2019, $50-$30 was normal pay for legendary ranks for most signature campaigns except for chipmixer and the likes, and there were very few live signature campaign during that bear market.
Today things are different, $70-$100 seems to be a common figure.
640  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign Vs review campaign on: October 17, 2023, 09:41:58 PM
Both serve different purposes

Review campaigns are usually put in place for the users to test on the functionality of the service, look out for the strong points and weak points about the service, and provide feedback on how the service can be improved. Reviews can be both positive and negative, so this in no way promotes a service. It's more like a way to improve the service.

A signature Campaign on the other hand is advertisement for service and the exposure to potential customers goes way beyond the users in the forum (the target could also be guest users)

So I don't know why you are making comparisons. The two are completely different, and a service can do both.
