641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help with stuck transaction in mempool with high priority rate fee on: December 22, 2023, 05:13:53 PM
If hosseinimr93 is right you can try to submit the parent transaction to Viabtc accelerator it has 100 free submissions every hour.

Here's the link https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

Or you can do CPFP to pay enough fees to help parent's transactions be confirmed.
You can use the tool below to calculate enough fees for child transactions.

642  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a list of public keys on: December 22, 2023, 04:31:01 PM
What exactly do you plan to achieve?

Add more info on what exactly you need or a sample of public keys you mean? You might be pointing to the extended public key or xPub and you are looking for a list of them.
I never heard of any sites or explorers that have a list of xPub and only the wallet owner should know about xPub and you can only find this key under your wallet details like in Electrum.

Or are you talking about the xPub tool to scan all addresses with balances?
There is a tool called xPub Analyzer that can do that check the link below

643  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Anyone using NerdMiner? on: December 22, 2023, 03:44:28 PM
I never heard of NerdMiner I searched a bit and found their open-source code link below

You can build it and it supports multiple hardware units but it seems it's not using ASIC chips that's why the hash rate is very low compared to a USB ASIC miner(Compac F).

And it seems you can't mine on a known solo pool like Ckpool due to its low-difficulty share but they listed pools that support this miner.

This is awesome as a project but you won't make any profit. However, it seems they are planning to use ASIC in the future.
644  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why is my miner mining less date every day? on: December 22, 2023, 12:04:09 AM
is profitable to start mining these days?

Not profitable for those who mine using GPU but for ASIC if you already have an ASIC unit and have a cheap Electricity rate it should be profitable plus they get incentives these days due to high transaction fees.

Here's the list of ASIC units and daily profit below.

645  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA added on: December 21, 2023, 11:52:51 PM
I thought I couldn't log in because I noticed OTP below the password but it works just fine without entering any code.

I think the OTP should only show up after you log in so that only those who do not enable 2FA don't see this OTP Box.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: The transaction depends on Electrum on: December 21, 2023, 01:49:43 PM
now it worked. But I had to pay over 17 euros for a 100€ transaction. Very high fees.

Would you mind to try maybe all 3 transactions might be confirmed today if you submit them to the Viabtc accelerator?

Here's the link https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

Just wait every hour for available free submission. Just keep refreshing the page every x:59 or this time(forum time) at 1:59 PM.
Instead of paying for another bumping fee try the ViaBTC accelerator first just suggestion.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana just reached $80!!! on: December 20, 2023, 06:03:36 PM
Like the above said it's due to new events and projects. Not just that, the upcoming Bitcoin event called block halving is also contributing to why Solana has increased its price for almost 2/3 months now.

But that's not the final price this year just my guess it would reach around $112 before the end of this month and it would drop slowly before the end of January.
648  Other / Meta / Re: Thanks button and more on: December 20, 2023, 12:35:02 PM
You're suggestion is great to avoid spam but what you doing is not allowed read this below

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

You should next time learn how to use insert quotes and edit your post because it's considered spam.

And I don't think it's a good idea to add a thanks button I'm sure there are many scammer who will abuse this to make their thread/post look legit.
649  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What faucet do you use daily? on: December 20, 2023, 11:05:16 AM
There's no problem claiming free coins on faucets I'm doing the same thing before and I sold them when the price suddenly skyrocketed.
Since crypto is so volatile the free coins or tokens you claim from faucet might give you a good fortune not now but in the future only if you can hold them for a long term.

@OP we have a separate section for faucets(Micro Earnings) and I think you should be able to find what you need under this section below.

650  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin core,Developers and maintainers. on: December 19, 2023, 06:35:11 PM
Is there any group that checks and balance the activities of the Bitcoin core developers?

Anyone can contribute not only the core developers, currently we have 929 contributors including core developers.

I don't know what you mean by balance the activities but you can monitor all their activities on Bitcoin core GitHub page under this link below.

651  Other / Meta / Re: Is really referral or affiliate are not allowed in Forum ? on: December 19, 2023, 06:17:28 PM
According to the forum rules, ref links is not allowed but I saw some ref link with(only if you want to support me) a long time ago if I remember correctly it was posted on the mining section before but they included non-ref link. So I guess it's only allowed on selected sections and if the referral link is related to the topic/section and also if the post includes non-ref?
I hope mods should give us insight because other forums posting referral links are allowed if you include a non-referral link and virustotal scan link.
652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is there an app/tool out there which gives u fee threshold notification/alert on: December 17, 2023, 11:56:55 PM
Optional for tryninja tool above, try this one below if you are looking for email notifier or transaction fee alert then this tool below is what you need.

654  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Issues Important Warning as It Plans to Perform Wallet Maintenance on: December 17, 2023, 10:50:24 PM
In the past I will be somehow worried if I get an information like this, but due to the knowledge and more insight I have gotten from this forum, it's like an offense too me now, to keep my assets in a centralized exchange like binance.

I only have a few usdt there which I use in trading, besides it's an amount I can afford to lose. I feel confident now because the majority of my asset is in my custody, thanks to this forum, cheers🍻🥂

There's nothing wrong with the update if you have the Binance app on your phone you will always see this announcement about maintenance they usually do this to keep their wallet safe from hackers.
Only selected coins are temporarily disabled/suspended for withdrawal and deposit and the maintenance should not be long.

If you want to check all wallet status you can check this link below

655  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction is pending because fee was too low, now what on: December 17, 2023, 04:04:24 PM
Unfortunate, in my app I don't have the possibility to bump the fee

What exactly wallet app do you use?
If the app does not have a feature to bump the fee you have 3 options to make the transaction confirm faster.

- The first one is to submit your TXID to https://www.viabtc.com/tools/accelerator

- The 2nd one is to do a CPFP with high fee if you have full control of the receiving address you can do this.

- The 3rd one import your backup phrase to Electrum and bump the fee.

Any of this should be able to make your transaction to be confirmed faster.
656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Open Base58 (P2PKH) Wallets for Bitcoin Cash on: December 17, 2023, 02:41:05 PM
First of all wallet file of Electrum does not have the .dot extension if you can normally open the wallet file on Electrum and not on Bitcoin Cash Electrum it means the wallet file from Electrum is not compatible with BCH Electrum.

Since the wallet file works on Electrum I suggest export the private keys on Electrum and then import them to BCH Electrum.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to sign a message with php code on: December 17, 2023, 02:11:43 PM
to read the whole project is a big task.

Is there any open-source, simple project which just for implement the signing function. It must be open source, no one will trust this kind of software, even Electrum .if I want to sign a message with more than 100 bitcoins, I really can not trust any software even with big companies.  Do you think so?

I couldn't find any simple PHP code that can sign/verify the message.
The open-sourced that I provided above is owned by fbueller who develop bit-wasp. He is no longer active since 2017.

If you can't trust that source why not run this offline?
Or do you want to run this on your website? If yes then you need to study his code to make sure the codes are safe.
658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: having issue accessing bpip site on: December 16, 2023, 12:12:34 AM
Same here having an issue accessing the site it only shows enter when I click enter it's slow before you access the main page but I can't scroll down and the text is black I can't barely see them.

It seems it's under a DDOS attack check all replies from this page below.

659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to sign a message with php code on: December 16, 2023, 12:00:27 AM
As following tips
1.when I want to sign a message, do I must have the private key?
Without a private key you can't able to sign a message it is required when signing a message.

2.any one can using just public key to sign a message?and pass verification?
No, you can't sign a message with the public key, the private key is required because it proves that you own that wallet or that public key.

3.is there any trusted site or tool for signing?
I do not recommend any web tools to sign a message it's risky I recommend use Electrum Wallet instead.

4.how to implement it by PHP?(code better)

I don't have much knowledge in PHP but check this open source code below in PHP.

Edit:

Verify signed message in PHP
- https://github.com/Bit-Wasp/bitcoin-php/blob/master/examples/signedmessage.verify.php

Create sign message in PHP
- https://github.com/Bit-Wasp/bitcoin-php/blob/master/examples/signedmessage.create.php

You need to install the whole respiratory to make the PHP code above work.
660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why does the halving increase the price? on: December 15, 2023, 11:29:36 PM
A few random beginner questions:

-  Am I the only one who thinks that it is premature to speak of a pattern when something only happened 3 times before, and in completely different price ranges?
If you know the historical price of Bitcoin you should notice the price ranges are different every block halving because like others said the block reward for miners drops into half every 4 years.

- Why would people invest loads of money in BTC after the halving and not before?
Actually, for me that's not a good idea to invest in Bitcoin after block halving you should buy Bitcoins before block halving because if not you might be late if the price increases much before and after block halving.

- What is a good price range for an air gapped wallet, for someone who only manages 0.3 BTC?

I don't think you still need to buy an Airgap or hardware wallet if you already have an old PC and phone it should be enough. You can make your old PC as offline cold storage and only use it to store your private keys and sign a transaction and never connect it to the internet and install your watch-only wallet into your phone where you can monitor your wallet and make unsign transactions.
