641  Other / Off-topic / Re: money before Romance on: September 21, 2023, 08:36:14 AM
If the emotional relationship between you and your wife is based on money, then the family you are trying to create will disintegrate quickly.
That's for sure because if you can't provide all that she's asking and then she finds a new guy that's promising her that he can give it all to her then that's certainly not going anywhere.

Social relationships are greater than that and are supposed to be built on better foundations. It is true that being poor will limit your social activities, including obtaining a partner, but you do not need to be rich to have one.
Yes, you don't need to be rich for you to have a lifetime partner but being financially able and stable will make it easier for you. Women, many of them are wise and many are don't but they all have the same thought in mind that if they're going to find a partner. It's either they truly love it for better or for worst and at the same time, they won't have hard time in dealing with life and has financial capacities to provide for them.

  • Coins.ph
  • PDAX
  • Moneybees
  • Gcash - powered by PDAX
  • Maya
  • Unionbank - soon

Cheesy

644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: September 20, 2023, 11:48:06 PM
Cock fighting used to be a recreational sport long ago but nowadays cock fighting is not very common especially in rural areas where only one or two such competitions are held.
This depends on where you live, in my country it's not just a recreational sport but it has become a tradition so it's never going to be gone. It's even more often in rural areas since there's not that much entertainment and things to do in those places.

But I can't say for sure if there is any gambling around it.
There is and what's sad is that there's a need to spill blood for every fight these cocks do and one will die but there were instances that both dies.

However, cockfighting is still organized as a primitive practice in many countries.
And it is being passed on to the new generation.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2023, 11:30:34 PM
Dame is getting lit up on social media today after claiming he wouldn’t do what KD did while he’s literally trying to do the exact same thing KD did. I’m surprised we haven’t heard a response from Kevin Durant yet, but maybe he’s just sitting back and enjoying NBA Twitter (x) roasting a different player for dumb comments for a change.
Well, waiting for KD's response on this would be savage for sure. Dame's gonna be cooked on social media when KD replied on him already.

Lol, it's not only Dame, least we forget Giannis as well told when he won a ring with the Bucks that he won't do a KD, but look at what he is hinting, he says that he is a champion and wanted to go out in winning and most likely if he doesn't win in Bucks uniform he might join another team.
Doing what KD did is totally fine on these days. It's all about the limited time that they're going to stay as NBA professionals and whoever doesn't have the goal as many rings as they can are just heating the seats on the bench. At least with Giannis and KD are truth to themselves and there's no need to hide it while for Dame, he's literally doing the same thing but won't admit it.
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you expect better, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? on: September 20, 2023, 11:12:53 PM
It's more about you not us. So what I do when I think that this is the time to buy, I do it as long as I've got money ready. And talking about patience, it's learned through the process. When you've been in this market for years, you get to understand what I am saying about being patient because you have gone through several bear markets and unexpected dumps. With those, your patience has been leveling up and no one can stop you from having that thought of yours that if the market is so bad then it will eventually get up and become better later. FOMO is underrated, sometimes we tend to think that people do that because they're new but even the experienced folks, we're also doing FOMO. Control yourself and have a set of plans that you're going to follow, really going to be followed by you. You may not permanently change at all or you're just going to do that temporarily but you'll notice those changes.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first sell with cypto after some months of introducing crypto as a payment on: September 20, 2023, 10:49:26 PM
That's right, when you truly believe to what you're doing and what you have invested then don't stop believing in it. I've been through and done that despite many people have been backlashing and bashing me with what I believe especially in holding and buying bitcoin.
They made fun of me and I thought that I am with them but behind me, they're attacking me and I was the topic of their talks as if I am a crazy person that don't know what I am doing just because I am an investor of Bitcoin. But it's okay, most of them are still on their kind of living that keeps on gossiping people's lives and then nothing changed at all, I just pity them.
Ignore the noise and just focus on your personal goal, in time you’ll realize how worth it is this.
The market is full of hype and fake news, and if you don’t know how to spot a real project to a fake one then you might believe on that especially about the offer being too good to be true. There are cases where you need to analyze, and this is for your own sake before you invest. This market offers a lot of opportunity, take it slowly but surely.
Not just the market but also the people that are surrounding you, you may even can't take what they're telling to you and most of them will say to just give it up as there's no chance for you to prosper on this market so they do. Don't listen to the people that are not even on this market, we do get this a lot of discouragement plus all of those noises that we're hearing and seeing the bad news almost everyday. They're all discouragement that wanting small investors to sell so that they'll take those cheap coins in the market and they'll be the one who will have the final laugh because they've taken it on a huge discount. This market doesn't choose any people but we should be meticulous with our moves as the market removes those weak hearted ones. It is a market that's cruel whether you're new, old or just a speculator, we're the ones to experience its cruelty.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB ? on: September 20, 2023, 10:25:58 PM
Very good predictions from you, and I really agree with what you said about BNB. If we look back at BNB, we can see a very sharp increase in 2021 when its renewable ATH was formed.BNB has a very supportive network with very low costs to date, and it must also be remembered that BNB has a very good community, which provides much-needed support for it.
No doubt about its community as it's also formed due to the fact that its exchange is one of the biggest in the world and keeps on expanding. Despite with some issues against SEC and they're having problems in some particular regions, mainly the US portion. They are continuing in growing their users and there will be more of it for sure when the bull run is in.

I think it is worth recommending, and it will be a loss if you don't want to invest in BNB because BNB will always provide profits at all times.
Just don't say any promises on it when you're going to recommend it to someone or else you'll be the one to be blamed for by those people you had recommended it when they don't like the status of the market currently and they're in loss.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 20, 2023, 10:07:18 PM
There was so much excitement about their return to Gilas Pilipinas, and now it seems there are significant problems that have arisen. I must admit, I've lost interest in watching their games. It's challenging to find players who can bring the same level of energy to the floor as Abueva and Romeo.
Well, they've just shown the pool and many of them are interesting players as well. But it's just a different vibe and aura if it's with Terrence Romeo and Calvin Abueva. We have to admit that and that's not the same energy from the recent Gilas that we've seen. Just another sad day that we thought that we'll see them play and represent our country again.

Especially Terrence Romeo, I believed he should have been the next Jason Castro of the team, but due to injuries and possibly not being favored by Coach Chot in the past, he missed some opportunities. Their absence has dampened our excitement, and it was already extinguished when it was announced that they were ineligible.
Yeah, if it wasn't for his injuries for sure that he has participated a lot of these games and he'll always be included on it. But that really sucks for him and he's just coming back to play. They were ineligible because they're not on the list in the first place for the list of roster that's sent to the officiating bodies of China. And that's why after sending a proposal for their addition, they're denied.

We can only hope that the final squad selected will bring back some excitement to the games, so we won't be bored while watching.
I'm sure they do and we're counting on them. It's just sad that TR7 and the beast weren't included but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't cheer up the current roster.
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A matter of family conflict regarding Bitcoin. on: September 20, 2023, 05:33:23 PM
Because of incidents like that, there will be those people who will blame bitcoin for it since it's the possible root cause of the quarrel of the couple. This isn't the first time that we've seen quarrels like this and it's not just with couples but also with people that know each other in real life.
And stories like this are not different from the usual stories that we see from those couples that are fighting over money or have financial problems or even last will testament. As long as there's money relation to an incident like this, people will think of something bad about bitcoin because it's the one that's associated but if there's no bitcoin on it and it's just the typical cash that's being fighted for, you won't hear them say that it's because of money and blame that for it.
651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 20, 2023, 04:40:52 PM
The issue is that people keep thinking trading like a machine would work but the market is an emotional thing that a machine will never be able to learn.

Trading bots are not a source of free money.
That's what many are still thinking up to now. When they hear someone who trades crypto, the first thing that will enter into their minds as a first impression is that person is good at making money. Little did they know that many of the traders are having troubles with their own trades and not earning as much as they were thinking. And in terms of bots, they think that these are money making machine but it is just making the trades easier but it's still gonna be dependent to the decision of the trader.

People still need to conduct market research to make the proper settings and control if they are still valid.
Yes, DYOR and gain more experience if they want to pursue trading. Don't get into unknown bots if you're for it so that you won't be a victim of malware that's injected to unknown sources.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 20, 2023, 04:23:23 PM
Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great.
I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.
Better give the kids some other typical games that kids should play with. Gambling in front of them will really give them some thoughts on their mind as they're always curious and why you're playing that and they're not. It will stay on their minds until someday they'll also do it on their own without us knowing it. As a father, we need to take care of their welfare and teach them the right path to take. Yes, we may be gamblers and we're also losing money because of what we're doing but if it's about child care and for the betterment of our kids, we have to control and limit what we're showing and the actions that we do in front of them. Because once they see it, they'll keep asking that over and over again.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could SocialFi be the new trend in crypto? on: September 20, 2023, 03:56:52 PM
Do you think SocialFi can be the new trend in crypto?
I don't think so. There have been a bunch of them in the past but never got the spotlight.

What are the centralized or decentralized projects that will succeed?
We don't know, there are a lot of them but when we ask which of them are going to succeed. It's hard to tell. Because that will still depend on the response of the market and the community that's out there and that's us.

My opinion is that the technology is still in its infancy and is not sufficiently tested to be reliable and scalable.
No doubt about that and there will be more trends but it's just that we don't know what's next.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is The Father After All on: September 20, 2023, 03:14:57 PM
Why no bitcoin holders interested? It is because when money talks, many are there wanting to listen. Just as they've seen the past performances of Bitcoin, they're always there during the peak of it but whenever the price drops, that's when they are not listening anymore.
It is as simple as that because they think that it's the best that they can do to look at the market when there's something big that's happening, but when there's not that much movement and it's just all bears and dumps they don't want to listen and not interested at all.
We have to admit that fact and even us, there have been point of our lives that we're too stagnant and don't have appetite at all because of how the market has moved negatively.
655  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Basketball]Gilas Pilipinas Asian Games 2023 Update on: September 20, 2023, 11:44:00 AM

657  Other / Off-topic / Re: Working over 20 years still poor on: September 19, 2023, 11:43:18 PM
It depends on the persons involved, if you are comparing someone who has a high saving habit to another who squanders all he earns before his next pay day, it's almost certain that the number of years the latter works won't really matter.
An average worker will have to spend his money and does need to allot money for the needs and expenses for the bills. I think that we're all spenders and even if you're a saver, that won't matter in the long run because of the inflation. What matters is that you're saving to invest and not just plainly saving it in the bank because of how the cost of everything is going up. We may be different in so many ways and that's why if someone is up working for so long and doesn't save anything, it's his loss and problem that's hard to fix because it's almost too late. 20 years in the service and got nothing, sad but true and there were people that I have seen that are into that situation. But it is not that they're not a good saver but it is because they didn't care for themselves and just kept on giving to the need of their families and didn't left anything for themselves.
658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Crypto Volatility..??? on: September 19, 2023, 11:20:19 PM
Its not
something that would make out assurance that it would happen in the present or in the future. This is why it would be always ideal on making yourself that fully aware on things
so that you wont really be that disappointed if ever things go south.
As the volatility of the market will never change, I agree that just be aware of everything that happens in the market so that you're not putting something on your head that might even hurt you. Just think of these things as casually happening and if there are changes that will happen, they're all about the market's reaction to every situation that we're having. Things in the past few years might not be the same anymore but this is still the market that we used to live on and changes do come once in a while and we just have to like and live with it.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⚡Make money quickly online!⚡⚡ ✨Guide to making money as a CONTENT CREATOR 🔥🔥 on: September 19, 2023, 10:56:28 PM
While this service looks like a shortcut for the promising content creators out there. You'll get the numbers that they are promising for your subscribers.
But the real deal here is the organic followers and subscribers that you'll be getting and that's the best deal that a content creator will get through his/her own hard work.
Having that number of subscribers as you start could give you more encouragement because you'll see the numbers. But doing it with organic ones as you start and you're doing it slowly but surely will give you better motivation.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 19, 2023, 10:44:16 PM
I have been thinking and trying to analyze what is really causing the high cost of food in Nigeria, I came to realize that monopoly is the major factors, Nigeria government are the enablers. How can one person be the sole major distributor, government should welcome competition in the business sector, every business person should be allowed to produce.
The law of supply and demand is what makes things cheap and expensive. If there's no competition in your area now and there are only a few sellers or producers of those goods. That makes sense as to why they're expensive. But if there are a lot of supplies of those goods then the market is free and will make it cheaper for the cost of it. And that's why when there's a bunch of supply in the market. Hoarding is one reason why there will be less supply of a certain good and that's what the government should watch out. But when these hoarders will just do under the tables and the problem is also on the officials, the problem can't be gone and consumers like you and me will have to deal with the effect of it.
