It is this Constitution that maintains much of the freedom in America today... all based on Christianity

Do you have any evidence to support this claim?

The only mention of religion in the Constitution is "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"
682  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ancient transformer? on: April 11, 2017, 06:48:27 PM
Archaeologists and scientists are finding that primitive man was advance far beyond what they have though in the past. Part of the reason that this info is coming out into the open is due to the honesty and bravery of some archaeologists and scientists who are putting their careers on the line by standing up against the standard archaeological consensus among scientists.

Cool
Interesting theory, but if that is true then why supreme ancient civilization vastly better that anything we can even think died/gone extinct?
Climate changes, wars, other natural disaster wiped them out, without a trace?
If they were so powerful then why we only found so little of that ancient tools?
They certainly had more than one transformer and other advanced tech, where is it?
It is hard to imagine that if humanity would perish today and after 20k year there would be no trace of it.

Actually, 20k years wipes out nearly any record... not much lasts 20k years... no wood, no paper, no metal (except perhaps gold which doesn't oxidize)... nothing alive that wasn't fossilized

Not to mention, humans didn't start working with copper until 6k years ago... before that is found only stone tools, no metal... much less something that would use electricity... that's just silly

Short Answer: No

Quote
...it was found that this stone is not less than 20,000 years old...

1) Dating a stone isn't really possible, carbon dating only works with organic materials (things that used to be alive)
2) Dating a stone would not tell you when the device was made

Looking at the pictures, it does not appear to be 20,000 year old copper

Copper turns a white-ish green after ~100 years... so I'd say this is less than 50 years old

For reference, this is what 1,000+ year old copper looks like:

And what sickens me about the whole is the airline CEO justifying the actions of the officers an then lying to everyone, I think the man should sue, He is sure to get a lot of money for assault and humiliation. He should bring the company to its knees.

The airline CEO can't apologize, or take any sort of blame, or he'll instantly lose any lawsuit

That's the unfortunate reality... unless he's willing to hand the guy millions right now, he can't admit his guys fucked up, even if he believes it

Her association with Bernie Sanders, her opposition to the foreign military interference, and her popularity with the youth all make Tulsi Gabbard on top of the Hitlist. It is just a matter of time, before she is reduced to another digit in the Clinton body count.

The Clintons?  Lol... Clintons are soooo last year...

Hillary is so unpopular, she couldn't even beat Donald Trump!... They are done... it's over for them... Clinton who?  Chelsey?

In case anyone missed it, this post in in reference to the PR nightmare caused by UA the other day

Backstory:
The airline overbooked the flight, and then wanted to move 4 employees to another airport on the plane... so they decided to kick off 4 paying passengers...

Nobody volunteered, so they picked 4 people to kick off the plane...

One of those men was a doctor who said, "I have obligations to my patients in the morning, I have to be at the hospital to do surgery... my Hippocratic Oath will not allow me to take another flight"

United Airlines did not care, and called the police to forcefully remove the paying passenger/doctor

Video of doctor being dragged out of seat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAeQXPt-n8g

A few minutes later... he runs back on the plane saying, "Just kill me, Just kill me, Just kill me..."

Being a policeman is a really stressful job, no matter what, you see brutal and fucked up thing on everyday basis

How many "brutal and fucked up things" happen on a daily basis in your city?

There are nearly a million police in USA... you think there are a million "brutal and fucked up things" that happen daily?

You want a dangerous and stressful job?  Try crab fishing in the Bearing sea...

Cops have it easy... they carry a gun... claim ultimate authority... literally get away with murder... harass people, and steal their money/drugs
688  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should rep Gabbard avoid flying? on: April 10, 2017, 07:51:03 PM
If they want to kill you, they don't need to take down a whole plane...

Someone killed the DNC email leaker while taking a walk in broad daylight

691  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: April 09, 2017, 02:46:51 AM
Perhaps here the situation is different. Atheists do not hate religion. They just do not believe in it. They also think that it does not exist. Therefore, how can they hate what does not exist.

Right. Atheists can not hate what they do not believe. They just do not believe in religion and all kinds of supernatural beings. Although there are some people who hate religion, it's more like some other sect.

The only way that an atheist cannot believe in God is to intentionally block the natural knowledge of God out of his heart and mind. Hate does not always have to be a passionate thing.

Cool

As an atheist, I grew up and learnt the truth.

BADecker you should try it.

You can't be an atheist. Why not? Because you know that you don't have any proof that God DOESN'T exist. At best, if you wanted to be truthful, you would say that you don't know. Not knowing is not atheism.

Cool

There is no proof.

Your links do not show proof.

Try again buttercup.

As you requested. I'll ask again. What are you since you admit that you are not an atheist?

Cool

I'll repeat again..... just for you my furry little friend.

I am an atheist!

I understand that your indoctrinated stance is to twist words to make them fit your agenda, but in this situation, you fail!

Does he seriously think you'll say, "Oh wow, you're so smart... I'm gonna become a christian now"?

I don't understand the point of all this trolling... it just makes christians look... well...

I'm surprised there are so many catholics still...

With all the pedophile priests and all...

I certainly wouldn't let my kid go to a catholic church
694  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Heroin? Cocaine? Weed? on: April 06, 2017, 04:43:36 PM
The only way to fix this problem is to legalize all drugs, regulate and tax them.

I'm not sure "all" drugs should be legalized

There are already too many people hooked on opiates like vicodin, oxycontin, morphine... which leads to heroin once their prescription runs out... also bad

Some are too addictive and expensive, which leads to theft, armed robbery, embezzlement, etc

Many drugs do serious harm or kill the user (and anyone who inhales second hand smoke/chemicals, like children)

Cannabis is a different subject... cannabis is less toxic than cigarettes or alcohol... cannabis kills fewer people than cigarettes or alcohol... cannabis cures/treats at least a dozen serious medical ailments (and counting)...

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

696  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christianity is Poison on: April 06, 2017, 03:12:51 PM
I've seen a lot of priests in my lifetime from bad to "creature you can't classify" but this doesn't mean their religion is "poison".

There is an abnormally high percentage of catholic priests who are pedophiles...

AND... THE VATICAN COVERED IT UP!!!1!1!!!!!

The Vatican knew children were being raped... and instead of firing the priests... they moved them to a new church... to molest a whole new congregation

That's being complicit in child rape!

They should be in prison for being an accomplice to a felony

That is poison!

What is your definition of poison?
697  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christianity is Poison on: April 06, 2017, 04:34:14 AM
Most decisions are not dictated by religion, It doesn't take religion to tell someone that murder and stealing is wrong. If you have a conscience and you are in the right frame of mind no one needs to tell you that.

For the ultra-religious, most of their decisions are dictated by their religion. This is applicable to a small part of the 2 billion Christians living in this world, and to the vast majority of the 1.5 billion Muslims who are spread out across the globe.

The thing is that even though you are from the same religion, there are different understandings for different people about the teachings in their religion. If you consider christianity as poison, then it would be right to believe that religion itself is poison as most wars were fought in the name of religion

Sure, all religions are poison... they all teach you to believe in fairy tales and doubt reality

When you preach the way to eternal life, you deserve the best of this life.

If you add good living to your preaching, you deserve even more.

If you have been preaching for the wrong reasons, and don't believe in Jesus salvation, you will lose it all... just like the non-preacher, non-believer types who will lose it all.

Cool

What did Jesus say?

Quote from: Mark 10:15
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

So... you want to listen to a preacher that Jesus says is not going to heaven? (the alternative being hell... these rich preachers are destined to hell by Jesus' own words)

That seems like a bad move
