From my testing of the wallet, I have concluded that everything is working fine
except for the staking. I believe it is staking at .15% instead of 15% / year.
This is not a big problem, as everyone is getting the same small stakes, I
have spoken to the dev and he will look into the code soon. It is probably
just a decimal point error, which is easy to happen. Once this is fixed,
your stakes should be about 100X what you are seeing now. In either case
with all the crappy coins out there now, Piggy is a great buy and set to
go much higher in the future, a coin making a difference.

A few months ago when the last dev disappeared I saved my wallet dat and then deleted my Nyan wallet and didn't visit the thread or reddit any more.
Could I ask, will my wallet dat be valid in the new wallet you are building? I understand you are building POS model NYAN. Could you give a timeline for this?
Can you also confirm other details about the POS? Number of coins, inflation, etc.?

For those who believe in the magic of TA, I don't know if you have noticed but after the last few days shenanigans the 3 day candle documenting the crash turned into a giant green doji - a doji is generally considered to be a sign of trend reversal.
The last few days also did no more than to extend the bullish pennant.
Taking into consideration where we are, if the developers manage to make overall successful gains as they implement masternode payments, and then RC4, I would say that the downwards trend since 25 May - the first major drk bubble pop - is over and the trend is now up for at least 2 months (using the longer-term charts).
In my books a doji is indecision in the market. The market needs more information and developer action for it to react in price levels. We are not out of the woods yet. Can mean either depending on the perspective. In my opinion given the fact that the implementation of RC3 had another problem a much bigger drop could have been expected, but the price held up relatively well and the doji formed. In this case I think it means the selling pressure following the crash in May is becoming really exhausted. |

I started buying as soon as it got to 0.015-ish after the low, in the crash on Friday. The problem was in no way fundamental, and people looking to invest in drk are interested in fundamentals. So it was an easy choice.

Wasn't nearly as bad as last time. Essentially all was working but to get the expected mini-forks pruned more promptly a link between votes and block hashes is needed. They're on the case right now - Evan's ETA 2 to 3 weeks, although it wouldn't surprise me if we see this put in place in a week's time. ETA 2 - 3 weeks? That's way too long IMO. time of arrival He has to leave enough time incase anything else happens. Not saying it will be before then but maybe. When there is a ETA, the actually release usually takes longer than that. Not in this latest case it didn't. It was moved forward by one week already. |

Now that the migration has failed because of the same fucking mistakes, I cannot explain 0.0156. We'll see... It looks like dev might have been being a little over-cautious, in which case we are in a flash crash that will quickly resume the trend. |

For those who panicked, bad luck.
If the problem gets confirmed as minor and it turns out that dev was being cautious as expected, then the price will not go back down.

I suspect the 0.015 BTC is almost as low as it will go for now... I actually have bought a couple at various stages but mostly been around 0.0165 ish... I just bought 20 DRK on 0.015.... Planning to hold it for a while so I guess I am not too bothered about the price going down furthur. I guess you just need to find the right entry point when people are panic selling... Plenty of opportunities to buy.

Getting the Piggy coins into the hands of kids...
I think we need a "physical" way we can pass out piggy coin at kids events and functions. For example we could go to Chuck E Cheese and offer to sponsor birthday parties. If we had a nice handout with access to an online wallet with 100 piggy in them it would go bonkers. The handout would have a temp password that they could change. The handout would have recommended uses... like trading toys with their friends... ask your parents for piggy for chores.
The online shop could have very cheap toys like the ones at chucky e cheese so that they could buy the dinosaurs that cost almost nothing and postage is cheap. I would help with some of this.
