701  Economy / Services / Re: Purchase a theme from the Envato Market on my behalf. on: September 02, 2023, 07:43:37 PM
Also, I just want to let you know that I will remove my paypal account on the payment option the moment I successfully purchased you the premium account to avoid being automatically deducted of the monthly subscription. Shoot me a PM so that we can arrange everything.

I hope you will be careful and that you know all the repercussions of such an action. In my opinion, it is better to use your envato account to buy the item than to put your PayPal information into someone else's account and having them manage the transaction on your behalf.

I just want to add to this, Lordhermes, an account linked to the farm, also posts in the same style:

Lordhermes, Sakanwa, and Obari also share the same style of reserving posts in signature campaigns:

Interestingly, Mistafreeze and blackened515 do not share this style. And for the accounts named above, only sometimes do they post in this style. Either the account farm is being operated by two people or they write posts from both a computer and phone.

I am not sure what to make of this, it appears there are just too many accounts for one person to manage. You might be onto something with the idea that the farm is run by two or more people, but it seems like everyone uses all the accounts as required.

Going down the rabbit hole, Mistafreeze account is connected to DomainMagnate and KryptoKings here. He is also linked with dbc23, coco23, Zilon, and Alisha-k accounts in this thread.
703  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 01, 2023, 11:16:42 PM
That is an interesting question you have brought up! I don't have a ton of cash to throw around, but I am trying to mix up my investments a bit. Aside from cryptocurrencies, I have tossed some money into precious metals, like gold coins. That is pretty much the extent of my investment game for now. I have got my eye on real estate because of that sweet potential for passive income through renting, but I haven't quite made it there yet. Hopefully, down the road!
704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vave.com - is a rasists on: August 31, 2023, 08:55:40 PM
OP, I just checked out your complaint on casino.guru.

They are waiting for you to come back with some evidence and screenshots. Have you shared that info with them already? It would be a smart move to do it before the deadline, rather than letting them close the complaint.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: August 31, 2023, 08:10:53 PM
@NAPK1NS_RA3, what happened to your prediction of this "guaranteed bet"?

the time is now 12:49pm ET, the match starts in about 11 minutes

these are guaranteed bets but I can’t say how I know, expect plenty of goals and little defence

You locked the thread too soon, so we couldn't comment on the match result.  Wink

707  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am a new comer on: August 30, 2023, 06:03:14 PM
Hello!!!

Am new here and I have seen that this forum is a very interesting place and I would love for other members here to guide me through the vast knowledge that is compiled here in this community. Every opinion and suggestions will be welcomed.

Hello and welcome!

This is an online forum just like any other, used by thousands of users. Why do you feel like you need special guidance and that you can't explore things on your own?

Sorry if I sounded harsh, but since you have obviously already found the Beginners & Help board, what is stopping you from browsing through the existing threads and reading some questions and comments from other users? That would be much more useful for you than opening a new topic with such a generic request.
708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is Stunna dead ??? Primedice n Stake spoke person. on: August 29, 2023, 09:37:29 PM
still people living in denial. fucking idiots.

either you are emloyed by stake.com or any way related to stake.com

Or maybe, a more logical explanation could be that your evidence wasn't convincing enough for anyone to buy into? You don't seriously believe we are all Stake employees, do you? And keep in mind, some of us are even promoting their direct competitors, without any need for bias.

the odds in bet archived has changed, their support themselves accepted that , but still people will lick their asses, as they earn their bread and butter through them .

Once again, you have provided NO evidence to support that claim.
709  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newbie Currency exchange on: August 29, 2023, 09:09:47 PM
A couple of other newbies, all using the same Telegram handle, @adambryce, tried to flood the Altcoins Marketplace board with fake ads offering high-budget cars at prices below market value. It was undoubtedly another scam attempt:

710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am a newcomer here please help and guide. on: August 27, 2023, 07:21:11 PM
Hello everyone,

It's been a week now since I eventually create my account on this forum but yet to understand anything at all and believe I have tried my best to read some of things or article but the whole site is a little confusing so I thought many seniors here could guide me and direct on what and how to go about everything.

Hello Ebiokpobo!
I can totally see how Bitcointalk might be a head-scratcher if you are new to online forums. Have you ever used Reddit, for example? It is kinda like that. You pick a board on the main page that interests you (the names are usually self-explanatory), then you check out the latest topics and dive into whatever catches your eye. If you are not interested in a topic, just go back and pick another.  If you are looking for something specific, you can use the built-in search tool or, as already suggested, give Google a shot. When you find a topic you wanna chime in on or ask about, hit up Reply or Quote. That is pretty much it - you will pick up the rest as you go. Don't hesitate to ask if there is anything you are still unsure about.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life? on: August 27, 2023, 04:14:38 PM
I am also late getting started, no big changes yet, but I plan on remaining optimistic during the rough times. People tend to oversell BTC when they should be buying, so the current distress is an opportunity for many others.

I think you did the right thing, even though it's late to invest in btc, of course it doesn't matter, the important thing is that you stay optimistic and now of course you have a good chance because soon there will be a btc halving,
and in my opinion it is better to invest in btc than nothing, so your decision very good friend.

Getting into Bitcoin investments is never too late, imho, as long as you are aware of the risks that come with it.

But you have got a point there. Starting a bit later might not bring big changes immediately, but keeping that optimistic outlook during the tough patches is the way to go.  This bumpy ride could actually be a sweet opportunity for plenty of others to dive in.  I actually started during the 2020/2021 bull run, and I am pretty happy with where we are right now.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Young people should take more advantage of the crypto space. on: August 27, 2023, 03:52:17 PM
I believe it's the younger generation that will really carry crypto adoption to new heights. The younger generation is more tech-savvy. They're more open-minded. They can also easily adopt to the new and disruptive developments brought about by new technologies.

I think the strongest resistance against crypto adoption is coming from the older generation, from the people who have been very comfortable with the traditional ways for the longest time.

To the younger ones, to those who have been living their entire lives in the digital age, in the age of internet, crypto is very easily accepted.

I totally understand what you are saying! It is like a face-off between the old guard and the new wave, right? Trying to break down Bitcoin to folks who aren't super into tech can be a real challenge. The older generation, not exactly the tech wizards, might need some extra brainpower to understand something so different from their usual stuff. On the other hand, the younger folks is pretty comfortable with tech, open to new ideas, and totally used to the digital lifestyle. Growing up with the internet as a daily part of life, they just naturally embrace new digital concepts like cryptocurrencies.

But you know, change takes time, right? Looking at it as a recurring trend, it is similar to how new technologies have been adopted throughout history. Think back to when the Internet was just becoming a thing. The younger crowd hopped on board quickly, while some older folks were skeptical or uncertain. I still vividly remember how much effort it took to convince my old boss at the company I joined after college that email and IM would completely replace fax machines. Needless to say, he was somewhat skeptical. But over time, as the benefits became more apparent and people got comfortable with the tech, the resistance faded away. I mean, who even uses fax machines these days?

So, just like the Internet worked its way into our daily routine, cryptocurrencies could take a comparable path. As more folks grasp their ins and outs, recognize their possibilities, and get comfy with their mechanics, resistance might decrease, and adoption might become more widespread across all generations.
713  Economy / Reputation / Re: Super High IQ BenCodie vs Low IQ forum posters about gambling. on: August 27, 2023, 12:32:47 PM
@BenCodie, I am genuinely curious here. Is it you who gets to hand out the "High IQ" label to your own posts and toss the "Low IQ" badge onto someone else's? Or is there a committee for that? Just trying to get a handle on this prestigious ranking system!  Undecided

Yup, that's textbook narcissism, in case you missed the memo. Might wanna grab yourself a freaking dictionary or something!

And by the way, going on a rant about the gambling industry while simultaneously promoting a crypto casino in your signature? Well, that is some top-notch hypocrisy, at least in my book. Looks like you have a track record of that too, right after your two-year forum break.  Wink
714  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Failed to submit review and also did not refund the payment. on: August 26, 2023, 09:56:15 PM
Unfortunately, the OP shouldn't have paid in advance, but I'm guessing that he wasn't expecting an Sr. Member to scam him for such a minor amount.
~

What do you mean by OP should not have paid in advance? Those were the campaign's terms, and they were in place to attract higher quality participants. There were a 100 participants in this campaign! And, just because of one bad apple...?  No, I do not agree with that. The OP went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, even allowing extensions for late reviews. And even after all that, jamyr had plenty of chances to return the money. Yet here we are, and he still has not. Even if he spent the money, he could have simply asked for a loan, which shouldn't have been a problem given the amount.
715  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: August 26, 2023, 09:25:39 PM
While this is true that BenCodie knew nothing, none of you would have heard. The mastermind behind Whirlwind had a deep understanding of the forum and the appropriate starting points.

Oh, what a genius! Just leave 40k in escrow, which apparently covered all claims, including those from the signature campaign participants. Truly a "mastermind" move, I must say!

Had the campaign manager not been Hhampuz, some of you would tag the service and probably the campaign manager as well.

Nice theory! It would be an absolute masterpiece if you could sprinkle in a little something called evidence to make it truly shine.
716  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable JayJuanGee in the Wall Observer thread on: August 26, 2023, 07:40:01 PM
...I believe if we do some changes with merit distributions, it should be applied globally on the forum. Wall Observer should not be an exceptional place to apply special rule of merit distributions. Then other threads will need the same and it will lead to endless story.....

Nope, people say reddit is the front page of the internet but As far as I'm concerned the WO is.

I check that thread first and foremost before anything else including my voicemail on a daily if not hourly basis.

Much news gets correlated there hidden in the mess and disseminated for those able to discern its meaning.

If its news and it didn't hit the WO then its not news in my book.

Interesting perspective. It never crossed my mind to view the WO thread in that light. I tried to keep up with it for a bit, but I eventually gave up due to the overwhelming spam that I had to wade through to find anything valuable.

I could give it another shot, but it feels like I would need to do a lot of filtering and ignoring to make it worthwhile.
717  Other / Meta / Re: Qobuz Sublime phishing sent to my bitcointalk.org email on: August 24, 2023, 08:54:50 PM
I recieved a phishing email with an invoice from Qobuz Sublime to my single use bitcointalk.org email address on the 22nd.

I'm assuming this forum has been compromised, or that the mods have sold their email list.

What makes your account particularly special to be the focus of a phishing emails? Your account represents just a tiny fraction of the overall user accounts registered on the forum. Unless we start witnessing numerous reports of similar incidents, there is no basis for drawing such a conclusion. So your assumptions are wrong and unfounded.

Edit: I am certain of this folks. I signed up for this forum with an email address that is not used anywhere else. I own my own domain and register for sites with a unique emial address for each. I came here to warn you guys or collaborate, but it seems from your replies that you are either not willing or not able to do so.

There are various methods that spammers can employ to acquire your email, even if you haven't used it anywhere else on the internet. They might resort to techniques such as dictionary attacks, using malware or malicious browser extensions, or even making educated guesses based on common email address formats. Additionally, hackers could intercept email communication through unsecured networks.

The point is, do not rush to conclusions without all the facts. Just because your email ended up with a spammer does not mean you know exactly how it happened.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Past 3 days what did you brought in the crash? on: August 24, 2023, 08:09:20 PM

However, if I ever had to take part, I would bring a tank! Grin

719  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ✅PSTNET – Trusted Virtual Crypto Cards⭐️Reloadable payment cardsⓂ️ Review copies on: August 24, 2023, 07:32:56 PM
I tagged the PSTNET account and supported the flag against them. No one should use their service, at least until we get confirmation that the scam allegations have been resolved.

Stalker22    2023-08-24    Reference    Open scam accusation! Confiscated user's funds based on deceptive AMLBOT analysis, despite the fact that the funds were legitimately deposited from the Crypto.com exchange. (Delete)

They have no legal grounds to confiscate user's funds, relying on a dubious third-party blockchain analysis that cannot even recognize funds from a legitimate crypto exchange used by countless others. This business practice is highly questionable and, in my view, probably illegal.
720  Economy / Reputation / Re: What's wrong with btcchamp88. Some newbies behave so strange. on: August 23, 2023, 10:31:25 PM
I tagged him as well, particularly because of this:

Obviously, such a person cannot be trusted. And when we add to that the fact that he is also spamming on this forum, we get the whole picture.
