721  Economy / Economics / Re: Monthly or weekly pay? Fixed or percentage earning? what is your prefrence. on: February 11, 2023, 05:02:44 PM
Weekly pay is my preferred payment for I will be able to buy all my necessities for a week and I will also be able to cope with the expenses. Dividing my weekly salary for my expences and savings will never be a problem if I will receive the right amount of salary after a few days.
I also prefer a fixed amount of payment so there will be a guarantee that I could receive a salary with or without workload without worrying to reach a target quota. Percentage earning will be a risk especially if our job needs a target number of workload to reach.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is Gambling? ChatGPT Responses. on: February 11, 2023, 04:43:42 PM
The way the ChatGPT explains this is almost the same; it is just that the things that it is giving as an example are just appropriate to the age, but again, the message was to control ourselves and also spend only what we can afford to lose. Though it is the basics to not do in gambling, many of us fail because this is more difficult to do. But as long as we are mindful of what we are doing in gambling, we can prevent this, and if those who are already addicted to gambling seek help from professionals, they can be cured.

The main idea is, gambling is too risky for everyone regardless of age especially if they can't deal with the risks. Yes, we can't define it based on the level of a person's understanding but the thought will always be the same. We can enjoy gambling and see it as a source of entertainment but when abused, we will surely lose track. Abused of gambling could lead to compulsive betting which might also lead to worse cases if not cured or controlled.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's been 2 months and now I am doing well.(I guess). on: February 10, 2023, 10:26:45 PM
Sad news guys. I had to stop this after sometime. It was done recently. There's been some legal issue going on here in my country and people are getting arrested for their involvement in cryptocurrency. I will have to continue my business, but in order to do that smoothly, I had to remove the crypto payment method. If you wish to know more about this, here's an update I made few days ago regarding this matter.

RE: I am stopping for legal reasons. Is it really worth the trouble?

Read this, and thanks to all for showing their great love and support.
That's a sad way of making you stop doing crypto payments. You will be on a hard situation if you don't follow your current country law. Actually you can still accept crypto payments but this time you will use a decentralized wallet to receive a payment and not using those centralized exchange such as what you are currently using Binance. Though there are still risk in accepting crypto payments even on a decentralized wallet because you can be put in a set up or someone will snitch on you which is a very bad thing. I'm sure there are people in your country that is against your new law and I believe that sooner or later, The law you are having right know will be revise into the much friendlier state.

I'm sorry to hear that your country restricts cryptocurrency. It should have been a good way to develop your business with the involvement of cryptocurrency but it seems like it isn't the best time for you to adopt crypto as a mode of payment. You have no choice but to continue your business with the other mode of payment but I hope that one day, the restrictions will be lifted and you will also be able to use the same method again. It was a nice try, Op, and good luck to your business.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 10, 2023, 10:03:47 PM
Farmers who have chickens for eggs especially on a large scale, easily get tired of eating the eggs from their chickens or even eggs in general. Caterers get tired of eating their own pastries, just as people who are exposed to certain produce get tired of them due to over exposure. Do you think this experience is the same for casino owners and owners of sports betting platforms?

No they are not the same.  The law of diminishing returns apply to food consumption.  The more same food we eat, the lesser we get satisfied with it.  So out taste buds opt for another food just to reset the satisfaction factor.  Gambling works the other way, the more winnings we get, the more bigger winnings we urge.  So instead of looking for another games, we tend to bet more to fill the satisfaction.

Do you think that the owners of casinos and sports betting platform, gamble as much as other people do? If they gamble, do you think they gamble on their platform?

I believe owner of casinos do gamble, and it is possible to that they gamble in their own betting platform.  As people say, patronize your own products.

I certainly agree with it. A person who puts up a business based on his interest so I believe that casino owners also gamble. An owner will not build up a business that he doesn't know anything about. It will also be an advantage if the owner is a gambler so he would know the weaknesses that his casino has and he will also have an idea of how to improve and develop it. But an owner must be a responsible gambler because if not, it will affect his casino in a negative way.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features in Crypto Casinos for the Elderly on: February 10, 2023, 09:46:56 PM
I visited an uncle in another city. His birth year was 1960. He has been an avid gambler for a long time and frequently visits brick-and-mortar casinos. He currently wants to test out an crypto casino. He has heard a great deal about it. He did, however, note that despite possessing the cash, he has no knowledge of how to use cryptocurrency for gambling but would really like to. I would like to suggest that crypto casinos put a video tutorial explaining how to use cryptocurrencies for gambling on their website.

What other features would you like to see in crypto casinos for senior citizens?
Doesnt need that much when we do talk about tutorial or some sort because you could simply explain to them on how they would be able to get some bitcoins or crypto via their fiat on which
depositing on a certain platform doesnt really that much of a huge problem or not really that hard.Once they do know the basics of making transactions in between deposits and withdrawals
then playing on online casinos wont really be that a problem.

This is why its better to teach him about the basic principles on how to acquire crypto and the rest is to teach on how to pass it up on an online casino account
which it isnt really that hard to understand.

Teaching and mentoring him will be easier than searching for elderly features that don't exist yet. Much better if you will explain the risks of crypto gambling and told him the basics of using it. It will be hard for him to understand if he is not familiar with the usage of crypto so you might be needing time and patience to explain everything. Just help him with the account creation and at least show him the step-by-step procedures to start up crypto gambling.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest casino property... on: February 10, 2023, 09:29:57 PM
There are also a lot of Chinese whales in 3 of the biggest casinos in the Philippines, there were even hearings about it and some junket related to other hacks if my memory serves me right.

As for Marina Bay, yeah it is one of the biggest in Asia that time and the design of it is unique.

And I believed up to this day, still one of the renowned not just in Asia but in the world.

I guess that's already expected given that these kind of business is not that very honest as in the first place, their goal is to make money and not to give advantage to the bettors to make money as that will also means losses to them. All of these things are becoming normal but the issues won't be floating that long as these whales and big time business magnets surely have their own respective influence.

Truly, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is very famous. If you're thinking for a casino in the Southeast Asia, Marina Bay would be the suitable place but for Northern part of Asia, you got Las Vegas of Asia which is in Macau, China.
There’s a lot of money in Casinos and Philippines is very active as a gambler that’s why they are all fighting just to get what is right for them, imagine a family casino business turns out into a big issues when it comes to ownership.

Anyway, Marina Bay seems to be one of the luxury Casino in Asia since Singapore is a rich country and other things there are expensive as well, haven’t tried visiting that place yet but hopefully in the next bull run.

Philippines will always have a big number of gamblers so no wonder why there foreign whales that put up a business in the said country. They are also open and don't have much restrictions for foreign gamblers so they can build a casino easily.
I've only watched videos about Marina bay before and I find it luxurious and expensive but I'm also hoping to visit it someday.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What most gamblers do. on: February 10, 2023, 06:50:21 PM
There are still responsible gamblers who are mindful of their savings. They still know how to spend wisely and save for their future at the same time. Gamblers without saving are those who can't control their gambling activities and even use their supposed to be saved funds for gambling. They are the people who can't discipline themselves and flcus only on spending without thinking about their future.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new Projects (Need Suggestion) on: February 09, 2023, 08:19:57 PM
Investing in new projects needs a lot of research because some of the new projects nowadays were created to scam people so if you won't do anything to recognize what's a scam and what potential projects are, you might only fall for scammers' traps. There are still things that you have to consider before trusting a new project so if you want to save yoursef from possible losses, just focus on well-established coins than risk on new projects not unless you will have a guarantee that a project has a big potential and is being managed by trusted people.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a crypto project reliable and trustworthy ? on: February 09, 2023, 07:49:26 PM
Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrency and most altcoins are way less qualified in terms of credibility, fanbase, high returns with minimal risks etc. I am trying my best to analyze altcoin projects but the results are not pleasant. What makes an altcoin really trustworthy ? And why ? Please let me know your opinions.
When talking about altcoin , there are no concrete idea of how we could find a legit or trustworthy project though we are tend to believe that there are a possible big reutrns.
altcoin is a fall of risk and that is not a fact but a reality so better to check your project wisely as even those who are being promoted by big people sometimes end up not progressing to the top.
find your risk and invest only what you can afford to lose.

Those who seek assurance cab focus on coins that have been running activities for a long time. Those who have a bigger community and have dealt with the ups and downs of the market. I would say that some of the top coins can perform better and will be more reliable. It's hard to rely on new projects nowadays so focusing on old and trusted coins will be wiser.
730  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nebeus: the easiest way to send money to a Crypto Casino!! on: February 09, 2023, 07:34:22 PM
unfortunately I don't have a money account and usually, I just look for free crypto on the internet via airdrop then if I get the result I use it to play casino, but sometimes when I want to cash out I always sell it to my friend who has a money account and that's the easiest way to I

I find it risky to deposit or withdraw directly right from my bank account straight to my crypto wallet. As much as possible, it will be better to use another wallet before transacting straight to our casino wallet to avoid being tracked or even tagged by the bank negatively. It's better to be safe than sorry. There are still other ways to save fees.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm looking for a Casino which has a similar VIP Program of Stake on: February 09, 2023, 07:07:21 PM
No casino is going to reward you if you're not actively playing. That's just a losing business model. Even stake only rewards you based on wagered amount per week/month I believe. What you are looking for is a sure way for a casino to go bankrupt and be multiaccounted.

I absolutely agree with you. The casino can pay bonuses for a while to VIP clients, but as soon as there is no activity on the account, all payments will stop. The casino owners are not fools to pay bonuses regularly. There are limits to everything.

Casinos nowadays always reward their Vip players based on their wagered amount. They will not reward you not just because you have purchased a VIP account because if so, gamblers will do it as a way of earning even without wagering or playing on the site which can make them have business losses so it is impossible. You can get rewarded in the beginning but the site will not provide bonuses continuously if you are not betting on them. It can't be a passive way of earning.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs of compulsive gambling on: February 09, 2023, 06:54:27 PM
Chasing your lost is the worst of all because you wouldn't know that you will end up losing all that you have. Gambling every day is good, as long as you have a budget for it and you don't go beyond your budget limit.
That is the worst thing to do while trading or gambling, this is because if you are gambling and you lose and lose again, the chase for the money the gambler has already lost will make the gambler lose more money. The best the gambler can do if he has lost in gambling is to just stop until he no longer thinks about the money and he should not see it as lost, it would be good if the person does not gamble that day again.
Compulsive gamblers always have the thought of getting rich through gambling and they could recover all their losses once they have one good hit which usually falls in more losses. As long as they have funds, they always follow their urge to gamble and are unwise when it comes to budgeting. If these things become a habit, a person's life could be a mess. Irresponsible gambling could easily ruin a person's life so as much as possible, we should lesrn how to control our urges.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake paid promotions on Twitter on: February 08, 2023, 04:46:54 PM
There’s a lot of fake promotions in social media and even celebrities, some of them promoted a scam project and they are aware of it. Promotions is fine but of course it is still your job to analyze the project before you invest because not all are worth to buy. If you are going to buy new projects don’t look for any promotions because all you can see is the hype about the project, try to analyze deeper.
Social media is now a place for everything including being used to promote new projects that are done by everyone. Don't look at who is promoting the new project, because not all influencers can be held accountable for what they say. In my country even artist circles make new projects, and in the end the project doesn't work and everyone ends up blaspheming it.
We can't blame it all, because it all comes back to us, are we easily influenced or want to do our own analysis, because the decision is in our hands.

Fake promotions is now all over the internet and we can't actually stop them since fake projects are also doubling their efforts to pursue their promotions. Influencers are also not reliable because they only focus on earning money regardless of what they are promoting. Fake projects will use influencers because they have a bigger number of target community so it will be easy for them to reach out to their target victims. The only thing that we can do about it is just to be wise and as much as possible, we must avoid projects that have red flags.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 08, 2023, 04:24:35 PM
Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.

Bounties nowadays are far different from the bounties that we had a few years ago. Scammers are now using bounties to scam people where they will add you to their telegram group and will ask you to perform different tasks with the promise of getting paid yet you will still end up being blocked on their dead channel. It's rare to find legit bounties these days so you really have to research so you will not get scammed.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many times have you intended to stop gambling on: February 08, 2023, 03:57:05 PM
I honestly tried to stop gambling more than twice before especially when I have big losses and even used the funds that aren't allocated for gambling. I was so distressed at that time and didn't know where to get funds to repay thw money that I used for gambling. I stopped for a year and learned my lesson but I still got back and have been a responsible gambler. I have learned enough from that experience so I already know how to discipline myself when it comes to gambling.
736  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Lottery players here? Pick 2, Cash 3, Cash 4, Pick 5 numbers in particular. on: February 08, 2023, 03:29:51 PM

Basically, you can win in a lottery draw if:

a) you're extremely lucky
b) you buy a boatload of tickets

I'm not a math guy really, but I guess you can find all the necessary calculations online. You need to buy A LOT of tickets, only then you have a decent chance of winning.

I agree with the use of the word IF because you can still do these two things but you still cannot win a lottery or you can buy one ticket and there's a possibility that you can win, there were and will be countless of winners that only bought or will buy one ticket and won and win a lottery, I don't believe in mathematical calculation or divination it's been proven that these two has no effect on the result.
Luck would be the only factor for a player to win in lotteries. Some would say to check on history such as number combinations and such but bottomline is that there's no such thing as a way to expectedly win on lottery betting. Algorithms do play a huge role. Buying multiple tickets would indeed logically increase the chances of winning but if you are just unlucky, then the other way around may still happen. On the other hand, there are individuals who bet in  solo manner but are just lucky enough to hit the jacpot. Pure luck based gambling games are indeed something. So if you are into it, expect more of a losing transction than anticipating guranteed victory.
Lottery could be a pure luck-based gambling game because there are people who bought only one ticket but still got lucky while there were also bettors who have bet using multiple tickets and still got unlucky. Others are betting with randomly chosen number combinations while others have been betting with the same number combination for a long time. It could be the birthdates of their family members or a date of special occasions. The result usually depends on a person's luck.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Roller Tailing on: February 08, 2023, 03:05:15 PM
Question: Has anyone been successful in doing this?
Haven't tried it yet before but I think it's wise if you trail high rollers with a good percentage of winning and not just some random high roller/s that has an n amount of bet. I think it would be rare if you find yourself a high roller that is good on his/her bets even if it's only one, just minimizing the risk until you prove it's good then slowly increasing your wagers.

I haven't tried it either because it's too risky. After all, we don't know the things that run in high rollers' minds. Some of them are just betting without thinking and just betting for fun while others apply their specific strategy to win.  Well, it's a good thing for those who are curious why they often win because they can copy their strategies and perfect timing. Let's just be mindful of the risks.
738  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Island Retreat - Sasama ba kayo? on: February 07, 2023, 04:52:47 PM

This actually seems a great idea to increase awareness sa cryptocurrency dito sa bansa! Hopefully, magkaroon ng parang open forum at discussion where outsiders are also open for free given na madami rin talagang curious dito sa cryptocurrency sa bansa.

This is a good start to increase its overall awareness and hopefully magkaroon pa ng mga katulad na events na ganito in the future.

739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rejecting odd provider's limit on: February 07, 2023, 04:05:05 PM
The best way is to monitor gaming providers, because they're a different section but exist in all casinos, and that makes it look like all Casinos communicate with each other to detect players. I think if a gaming provider flags a player for being underage or fraudulent disputes they can easily track that person on other casinos using their detective systems. And this time the player may be unlucky and the account will get restricted after they've won some money. They could be a way other than changing IP, proxies, or even Kyc how these people determine a suspicious player. So, the way out is to change games and try focusing on games that has different providers. That way the user can be difficult to trace.

Keep in mind that there's another reason for someone being limited, and it's his/her gambling addiction. In some jurisdictions gambling providers are obliged to limit someone's stakes just because they are too big, or there are too many of them to consider them affordable for the gambler. So, providers put a limit on the stakes of such person, and then this person goes around forums saying he was limited because he was so good at betting and that casinos fear him.

I personally think that this is the main reason why someone is limited, but I have no proof of that, so, let's just keep in mind that there are such cases.

Indeed it's among the right reasons why a person can be traced till forever never to gamble anywhere again, gambling addiction, if a person is restricted for such reasons they may not be enabled to play anywhere, but how exactly it's been achieved is like gambling we can't be sure of it, there are more than enough cases why a person gets limited, yet the game providers play an effective role in tackling these limitation disputes.

We can't be sure of it. Absolutely. Besides, gamblers always can find ways to circumvent  these restrictions, but the harder to do it, the better for them gambling addicts. If they are restricted to the most reliable gambling platforms, they can go to less reliable ones, but they know the risks, so, some of them stop gambling for that reason.

Overall, it's a good thing that providers are required to limit people who are sick and need professional help. It saves many lives, I'm sure.

If they would limit them, they should also let them know the reason why the are being restricted. The providers must provide an acceptable reason so gamblers would know their mistakes. I agree that gambling addicts will always find ways to gamble. If they are being traced and restricted, they will try even the riskiest casinos to fulfill their urge to gamble. However, it will still be a big help for them to be restricted so they will be aware and would have enough time to realize that they need to seek professional help already.

at mismong scammers.
