1641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite casino reviewer here in Bitcointalk? on: March 20, 2022, 10:44:33 AM
Those are actually great casino reviewers but my personal choice is Gamblingbro simply because their rating is reliable and they're straight to the point when it comes to explaining which is necessary and helpful, especially for beginners. I found reliable reviews about casino sites here which gave me the comfortability and assurance of what site should I play with.
1642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Hafthor Bjornsson vs. Eddie Hall - 19.3. on: March 20, 2022, 08:21:12 AM
These guys will get exhausted immediately, and they'd probably just be giving power blows every single time which will make this fight over shortly. The one with more stamina to move around the ring and trade blows is more likely to win this bout. They are both extremely powerful and their strength is their asset, but they are quite lacking in the stamina department.

For the lulz tho, I'd go for Thor Bjornsson just for raw power alone. Eddie is still massive and powerful but I think Thor takes the bout more efficiently.

That's expected for sure due to their weight but I believe that they have enough training for stronger stamina. They're still a great match here but I'll go for Thor because I've seen his training video clips and I'm impressed by his strength though I'm also expecting Eddie's massive performance. I have high expectations for this fight.
1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its not official btc bull run now on: March 19, 2022, 04:57:01 PM
This isn't the best phase for Bitcoin and the current market status couldn't be considered as a bull run because we're just in the correction period. Bitcoin and other top coins are just on their recovery period so I wonder why others see it as a bull run. There are still lots of events that are affecting the market situation so I'm sure that lots of changes could still happen in the coming days.
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming a Bounty Manager on: March 19, 2022, 04:31:07 PM
Hello, I have a few questions regarding bounty managers and becoming.

Are bounty managers still in high demand? Is it difficult to become a bounty manager now and is it worth it to try to become one? Is it true that only reputable bounty managers get paid in BTC, while others get paid in tokens they are managing for?

Thank you for your help.

Bounty managers now are not in demand anymore because project managers will likely hire established and reputable managers and we have a lot of good bounty managers now, your chance to become one is if you can offer a much lower rate and can prove that you are better and can offer something new to well-established managers, you should also consider that many projects now are scam and you might end up promoting scam projects.

I certainly agree with this. Most projects these days prefer to deal with reputable and trusted bounty managers here in the forum. Their job is hard yet challenging but to be honest, they worked hard to build a strong foundation of trust from projects and users. There are a few trusted managers here who are well known for their promising handling of good projects.
1645  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 19, 2022, 03:49:48 PM
They can for sure.

What do people think of Russia, as a small country that won't recover or will be a big hit by those sanctions? I think that it's going to be an easy thing for them.

Just look at their allies, they have China on their back, and for sure that it will help them to cover up those sanctions if ever they can stand on their own.

But I think they will.
Sanctions left and right made Russia hard to recover from this war but knowing how huge this country is and how capable they are, I think Russians will still be able to survive and recover from all these sanctions. However, with these different sanctions, Russians will find it hard to live a normal life after this war but with the help of China, things will slowly recover until all the damages from this war will only be part of history.

Despite all the sanctions, I believe that Russia will still be able to survive their economy and after this war, other countries will still help them rise again. It's just that some countries don't want to intervene. Russia is well prepared for the possibilities and consequences of their invasion so I'm sure that they're firm enough to survive this crisis.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 19, 2022, 03:08:33 PM
While you're true about that, I think we cannot take away Bivol's anxiousness towards his family because Russia is also in an imminent danger as the said country could be retaliated in any given time by other opposing countries who supports Ukraine and even if he's a professional boxer, he is still a normal human being. I'm just saying that everything is possible during the war.

Despite all these issues, I do also believe that this fight will belong to Canelo and Bivol here cannot possibly upset him, but if ever Bivol will then his career would be soaring high and Canelo will surely want a rematch.

It's undeniable that Canelo is the crowds favorite in this battle but I would like to give a hope to Dmitry Bivol to have a chance to ace this fight. I know how great fighter Canelo is and I believe Bivol could be a great opponent for this man. However, I am also hoping that whatever the current situation Russia was in now it may not fully affect the training preparation of Bivol for his upcoming fight. We truly cannot take away the anxious that Bivol's may felt because of the situation but he still needs to be professional and still need to prepare for this battle.

Of course, Dmitry Bivol has a chance here, it might be slim but still, some underdogs can perform very well under pressure. But it's more of his opponents, Canelo is one of the best that's why sport bookies are going to put him as the favorite despite Bivol's number. Unless Canelo didn't train hard because he thinks that he can go and just knock out Bivol and that kind of mindset might set him up for a failure. But then again, with good trainer around Canelo, for sure he knows that training is very important in any fight.

We know Canelo is not like that kind of boxer to be overconfident by his prowess, he is the kind of boxer who is well disciplined even he already knew that his opponent is not the type who could upset him. But yes you have a point mate, if indeed Canelo's mindset is something like that then a defeat won't definitely shock us.

Besides Bivol does have a chance on taking Canelo but only for a UD and not by a KO.

I don't think Canelo would only be underestimating Bivol because we know that Canelo doesn't have that kind of attitude towards his opponents. He only focuses on his training. I'm sure that he's preparing well for this match because to be honest, it will still be a challenging match for him since Bivol has also been preparing to beat him.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 19, 2022, 02:45:27 PM

Now we are in the Semi-Finals already and look at the match-ups. Meralco Vs. Magnolia and Ginebra Vs. NLEX.
Anything new? Again its MVP Vs. SMC in the Semis and in the Finals, we will see them fighting for the championship or worse we might see a SMC vs. SMC team or MVP vs. MVP team in the Finals which I hope will not happen. My team SMB didn't enter the semis but I will still watch.

Meralco vs Ginebra in the Finals, would be a good Finals I guess. What do you think?

The last time I witnessed the Finals between Ginebra and Meralco, Durham was their import and I believe that the current import of Meralco is not better than Durham, so if they will face in the Finals, I'm sure Brownlee will take advantage of the match up.

It’s so early to predict Ginebra and Meralco in the while in fact Magnolia and NLEX are very strong team in this season. I’m actually aiming one of this 2 team in the finals. Ginebra is indeed strong to sweep TNT but TNT import is not that good compare to other teams in the league. But as usual, Ginebra is always strong during Semis to Finals due to the amount of support they are getting from bandwagon pinoy and pinay fans.  Cheesy

TNT is actually a threat to Ginebra because we've seen their dedication this year. However, we can't deny the fact that Ginebra's fandom is also consistent and it's always been an advantage to them. It seems too early to conclude but I guess Ginebra will dominate and would be on finals again.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos invest on endorsement from celebrities on: March 19, 2022, 06:39:30 AM
Should casinos invest in the endorsement of celebrities just like what Stakes is doing or it's better to just stick with giveaways contests and maintain their reputation, we know we all know the high cost of celebrity endorsement should other casinos follow Stake's lead to partner or pay celebrities to promote them.

It depends on the celebrity that they're picky. They should  consider its reputation and the number of its fandom. We can't deny the fact that being endorsed by well-known personality has a huge impact on a certain site so just like Stake, I personally see it as an effective way of promotion.
1649  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 18, 2022, 04:23:04 PM
Two weeks later will held world cup play off and Russia still not get good respond with suspended by FIFA and UEFA exactly will give free way to Poland pass to next stage without have against with Russia. I think still have any possibility because world cup play off first leg held on 28th March and maybe have little chance for unsuspend Russian national country, but if can't get chance Russia will be most disappointed because they have success lead to play off round and have little close way pass to world cup qatar.
If the sanctions were withdrawn, their opponents in this play off had already said refused to play against them, this would be next hot issue.
Pity the Russian players who are also affected by the choice of the leader. It looks like Russia will absolutely not be playing for the world cup qualifiers meaning there is no chance for Russia to compete in the world cup.

It's really frustrating that even the Russian football team still has to suffer and face the sanctions because of this war. As for me, there's no way for them to play and compete in this year's playoff because there are already lots of complications. Though they don't deserve this, I believe that things like this still have to happen but we can't deny the fact that the Russian team has always been a big challenger.
1650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 18, 2022, 04:10:53 PM
If meta gets into gambling then we will see things like virtual games having real effects on the gamblers as though the are in the scene despite playing those games online. it will be the biggest blow in the gambling industry and might trigger lots of none gamblers to give gambling a try. This is no sought of impossible mission i can actually see it's reality soonest

I do expect that whenever metaverse come into picture of gambling world we will going to experience a virtual reality gambling experience. I am not so sure if this is already been adopted by other online gambling sites but as I have heard that someone have had experienced this one already. I can say that we may have different approach about this new feature that someone may well not be good at this new technology or some were excited about this, and for me as long as it will give a significant entertainment and experience for me as a gambler I will be excited with it.

I'm also excited about it. Developments and collaborations in gambling make the whole industry more thrilling and exciting. It may need time for developments and improvements yet it's something to look forward to. Metaverse could impact or even change our gambling experience which is a good thing because it could even attract more crypto players.
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 18, 2022, 03:39:02 PM
yeah, he is actually an owner at Real Valladolid, did not that as well, and he invested as well in his Cruzeiro, to celebrate 100 years by the club and give back to them

Now I am beginning to wonder what all the other retired footballers are doing in terms of ownership and management,,, mostly from English football they end up as pundits or commentators but to actually lead a club and call the shots by being an owner and president that is so unreal. What a nice guy.

Yeah but im not a "tiffosi" of Milan, i like they win because i like to see in the tournament teams with history.

One thing i really dislike of Serie A its a lot of "medium teams" never can fight for anything serious like UCL spots.

Atalanta its one exception and also its not a "medium team". For mediums teams I say Fiorentina, Lazio, Udinese.

I guess I can understand this because Spurs is what most of my friends would call a medium team. They probably will insult it much more if I am not there Wink Lazio though is that not a team of history as well at least if not in achievements in being one of the most famous derby members in football with Roma?

Most retired footballers are still in the industry grabbing opportunities that are related to their profession and that I think will benefit the organization as well as the retired players. It's better to grab opportunities that are closer to their passion except for investing because they could still excel in the field despite their age.
1652  Economy / Gambling / Re: Paddleboat Mississippi, new poker site with low fees and good privacy on: March 18, 2022, 03:10:52 PM
The idea is not bad, but I think there will be quite a few people who are hesitant about this domain of paddloboat.ms
Nowadays it is.com if perhaps to a lesser extent .io   .ms exudes little confidence. However, if you can gain trust in the forum here and advertise, you can win a lot of players with it. Maybe play some freerolls for free so players can try the site without having to deposit money right away.

Honestly, people now are very skeptical that even domain is being checked. I think it's because of the previous scam history of fake sites that users are now being more careful. I guess proper advertising of the site would be a good idea. Gaining the user's trust is also a way of building an important good reputation.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 18, 2022, 02:53:03 PM
The game of Chess is part of the very few games I didn't know how to play. I realize that chess is better learnt when younger in school because at least you have all the free time to throw around. I watched few times people that played but it wasn't so much a popular game played around freely, may be it was a reason. However, Chess is highly calculative. You need to read up the opponent next move and try to checkmate it, I think that's mostly the technique of the game.
really? at your age you don't know how to play chess? you are part of the few people in the world that knows nothing about chess playing lol.

I think it is somehow rude to say that he does not know how to play chess- even old people are unaware of on how every chess piece works!

I agree with most of the people mentioned that there is a fine line between playing vs knowing the respective move of the pieces. As someone who has been playing chess ever since my childhood, I still struggle a bit to increase my ranking as this sport involves mental and psychological battles with your opponent. I do believe, however, that his sport takes into account the natural talent of a person vs a hardworking one.

There are still lots of people who don't know how to play chess and I see nothing wrong with that. Yes, it's better to learn about it at a younger age. Not everyone can learn about this game since we all have different cultures. However, the chess game is a strategic game that most of us could enjoy so playing it online will also be exciting. I've tried it a couple of times and it really tests your patience just like the old times.
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 17, 2022, 04:09:59 PM
Elon Musk won't sell his bitcoins, he tweeted this and we see no big movement in the market. There was a time when his tweets had big effects on the market. This guy is losing his value by promoting Dogecoin.

Yeah, he won't sell his Bitcoin or his shitcoins, who cares. I think that in this forum we don't really care what he says, although it must be recognized that he has a short-term influence on the markets.

Anyone could hold and decide for their holdings but as for me, Elon's statement would help any of us. Maybe he's trying to tweet things about crypto again because he wants to manipulate the market through it which isn't possible anymore because people are now skeptical and learned from what he did to Doge before.
1655  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 17, 2022, 03:34:19 PM
Being a full time trader is not that easy, like you'll quit your job and decided to be a full time trader, trust me, you're not gonna make profits, you're gonna make a mess. To be a full time trader who make profits, you need time as well like you do in your job being an employee. There's no shortcut for being a successful person, but I do agree that being a full time trader has more bright future than being an employee.
There are successful stories of traders or crypto related job in my country that quits there job and focus in crypto activities like content creation, playing play to earn games and trading. When we quit we must have other sources or sidelines to deal with not just in trading since the market is too volatile. It’s risky to quit full time job but that will only be the chance to built our own wealth once we stop working for others.

Quitting a stable job for crypto isn't advisable not unless you have already established a strong foundation of knowledge about trading and other opportunities that crypto could offer. You should always have a firm backup because anything could happen in crypto. After all, it's volatile so any current event could affect its value. There are things that we have to consider, our skills, funds, and ability to adapt to changes.
1656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: March 17, 2022, 03:14:36 PM
It's honestly hard to predict the moves of whales but I think doing research or keeping updated on the events that will have a positive impact on the market would help. Joining social media platforms that provides legit updates and announcements would help. Also, check the previous market movement will give you a hint on what could possibly happen in the market flow.
1657  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction is the right option? on: March 17, 2022, 02:56:27 PM
I don't think sanctions would make the situation better. It only makes innocent people suffer and to be honest, people from other continents are also affected by these sanctions that cause economic breakdown globally. Sanctions couldn't stop Putin from invading Ukraine and it might only make the situation worse. I guess before imposing sanctions, authorities would think twice if it would have a positive impact to stop the war.
1658  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice! on: March 17, 2022, 02:47:49 PM
I hope Op would also consider adding Duelbits to the list because it also offers great rewards and bonuses and has a good reputation as well. On the given list, I also pick Stake and Robert simply because I tried using those sites and I could say that they're highly reputable because of the good service that they're providing.
1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play to earn game tokens on: March 16, 2022, 04:06:31 PM
None of them are promising. I honestly didn't tried to look each of those games and what they are all about since until now I don't see any games where their own generated coins was used in other things aside from their own games, in my experience they are only profitable at the early stage and was not good for long term. Even though they became known and has many players but if their ability was limited to the game itself and no actual use or at least can be use as a mode of payment to other services and no other utility I don't think they are a promising one.

I also had the same realization. I invested with multiple NFT games and tokens but still didn't succeed in the long run. Play to earn tokens will only be profitable in the beginning not unless a certain project would be able to control the token supply. Lots of NFT games have turned into rug pulls so I would still prefer investing with trusted and reliable coins.
1660  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: March 15, 2022, 03:44:51 PM
I am married and have 1 daughter.

As we know, the economy is very important for families, of course, to support daily life and plan for the future. In addition to working we also need a savings or investment and this is the responsibility of parents. But if something happens that we don't want, such as death. By leaving a little treasure to our children, do we need to provide crypto investment education to our children? is it necessary?

As a parent I want to give my best.

I want to hear your opinion guys.

Since we're now on the modern days where cryptocurrency is continuously developing and evolving, I believe that it's a good idea to provide crypto education for our children or we could do it ourselves by enlightening them the importance of cryptocurrency and how it could function for the betterment of the economy in the future. Our economy isn't in a good shape right now and we don't know the possible things that could happen in the coming days so planning for our kid's future through crypto would be a wise move.
