721  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you suggest a crypto sportsbook with video streaming of sporting events? on: May 31, 2022, 09:44:49 PM
I'll just take a look at the Stake now because I remember when I was still actively gambling here, they did have this feature. But almost all sports live events are disabled and can't really be watched in real-time. Even e-sports like Counter-Strike also don’t have a live stream available. So it's not really the same because there are other e-leagues like DOTA. The only thing I've seen with live sports events since today is table tennis. So you just really need to check if there is or not. All you have to do is watch your favorite sport on cable TV while betting.

Even videos on cable are delayed. Radio is fastest and some of the match trackers are right behind that. It depends on the match and sport.

This color looks even better.

723  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you suggest a crypto sportsbook with video streaming of sporting events? on: May 31, 2022, 09:28:00 PM
Matchtracker's, on the right, are nice as they show the ball moving. Video streams seem too lag too far behind.

In reading the dedicated threads from numerous books, players are having problems when using a VPN. Many of the bitcoin books are giving away bonuses. If a book doesn't do KYC on you, don't use a VPN. This is a safeguard in case a book claims that you are using multiple accounts for bonus abuse or to circumvent limits. If you are unsure if your country is banned, ask the book if it's OK to play from your country. Save the documentation to avoid problems. I've emailed or sent support tickets to many of the books that I've played at to avoid being hassled.
Very good point made! But the problem is beyond IP address & KYC. Let me shed some light on this matter please.

There is hardly any sportsbook in crypto that doesn't require KYC at some point. Partially it's because of the giveaways abuse but there are other angles to it as well. I've recently seen cases where players find ways of cheating the sportsbook which can be but are not limited to practises such as match fixing. To avoid getting scammed, sportsbooks are now asking for KYC from players as soon as they win something big.

Many sportsbook are also using this as a tool to deny the winnings for the players though. Completely agree with you, we shouldn't use VPN because if KYC is requested later, you are in deep water.
True, good additions since match fixing does happen. For ratings purposes heavy handed KYC hurts a book.

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

I rarely jump in a thread from a book and keep to my own thread but since this topic keeps coming up, as far as I know, Nitrogen allows you to play from the US. If you are using an IP from the US and are having problems, please pm me or post in the ratings guide so that I can look in to it and adjust ratings accordingly.

edit- after more research it seems that all sportsbooks located in Costa Rica take players from the US. There are sportsbooks from CR that advertise in the US. Others take bets from the US, but can't market in the US. It depends upon where their servers are located.  On the other hand, not all books located in CR take players from CR.

726  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pmalek’s Collection of The Best Gambling Threads and Discussions on: May 26, 2022, 11:09:34 PM
I just noticed 3 more topics which seems great in gambling section.
Here is the first one: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion
The OP of this thread has rated many well known sports betting website, also included few more details in it.
I came across this one but decided not to add it thinking it was outdated. The thread was created in 2014. I have asked the OP how often he makes changes to his thread and adjusts the ratings if the reputation of certain platforms require so. I will consider adding it after that.

This is the second one: List of truly instant and anonymous bitcoin casinos
The OP of this topic has rated some crypto gambling sites in different categories. This is an old topic and the OP isn't active in the forum. As a result the information of this thread is backdated, but the OP had shown some great effort when he created the topic for gamblers.
Quite outdated just like you said. A lot could have changed in the meantime. Those platforms he considered to be excellent could have gone bad and vice versa. I also didn't like some of the conclusions he made like saying I am adding all Croatian casinos to my blacklist because of the bad experience I had with one of them. I have never heard of any of those Croatian-based sites to be honest, but such prejudice can be harmful.

This is the third one: All Bitcoin Lottery websites
I haven't noticed this topic before, there isn't much discussion in that topic. As a result, it has rarely pop-up in the Gambling discussion. However, notblox1 has created a good list of bitcoin lottery website.
He seems to have made some updates to his OP recently and that's why it jumped to the top in that particular sub-board. I don't remember seeing it either while I was carrying out my research. But I like it and will include it in my collection.

Hi Pmalek - I posted a full answer in my thread but the ratings at #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS is current. It's updated more than any other guides that I have looked at. There is player chat that is always adding information. Thanks for looking in to the thread.
727  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: May 26, 2022, 11:03:50 PM
Hello,

I was made aware of your thread and advised to add it in my Pmalek’s Collection of The Best Gambling Threads and Discussions. But before I do, I wanted to ask you are the ratings adjusted and how often do you make adjustments. Your thread was created in 2014, how often would you say you have made rating changes and other updates to the OP?

Pmalek - you have a great thread, it's very comprehensive. As far as this thread, I normally check in daily and will never go longer than a week without checking in. The thread and ratings are updated continuously. There may be 5 changes in a week or no changes for 3 months. Each book's rating is updated on an individual basis. If there's a major problem at a book, they will be downgraded immediately. Upgrades are a little slower since that will only happen once every 6 months or so. New books are added to NR. Ralle and some others have been great at posting when there's a new book that I've missed and then they are added. Yekovski just posted a few that I'm looking at. It will take a couple months before a rating is given to a new book. Outside of reading BCT, I read other forums and ratings guides looking for any problems with a book so that warnings can be given here.

Hello,
maverickgames has a good rating in this thread but i couldn't find their own thread or anything on Twitter about them.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5233483.0 I found this thread but overall looks like not popular web site. Right now they are offering nearly 400$ %100 deposit bonus and asking for 8000$ wager for over 2,00 odds. Their odds are great but couldn't find my country on their registration list. Also KYC is required.

I would like to talk about my experiences with bookies which got ratings here. (I am using VPN for loging them)

Right now i'm using sportsbet.io (good odds with daily boosts, very high betting limits and not asking for kyc)
betcoin.ag low odds and low limits, no kyc.
playbetr never heard about it %100 i will check. website is so slow while using vpn tho.
nitrogensports.eu my account is very old there. They were taking odds from Pinnacle (asian bookie) and they were making cut over it. right now they changed sportsbook, do not have any experience with this provider. They have had bad odds with 'ok' limits, i played a lot there. %100 Trustworthy.
stake.com Stake was very good website with good market variations (you can play player bets) they did not asked for KYC from me  but limited my account.. Their normal odds are bad. If you play NBA player stats with higher lines, they could limit your account too. Also VPN was acceptable there, now im not able to see their page. While  trying to load stake.com with VPN you are having 'Your IP is Temporarily Limited' error... My friend got balance in his account but not able to login to website anymore. and he didn't have good conversation via e-mail. not helpfull support.
Anonibet -never heard. they have 5 btc deposit bonus %500? Is it safe? odds are really bad tho. never saw 1,72-1,73 before.
bitsler and fortunejack also first time hearing that websites, no idea.
Thanks for the input yekovski. It helps me but more importantly it's nice for the community to see opinions from others, not just what I post. Those are definitely some nice bonuses at maverick games. I know they have some updates in the works with KYC requirements but not sure what they are yet. Playbetr is the sister site of Betcoin. Anonibet isn't the safest of books. There have been some confiscations and some big delays in payouts.
Thought I would pop in here with an update on our KYC Smiley
Maverick Games is the same company as btb88, here is our thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5233483.0 When we re-branded we decided to keep our original thread so players can see our forum history. Peeps Place is correct, we’ve recently updated our requirements to make it easier for you to join us! Maverick players can now deposit, bet, play, and withdraw safely and securely without having to provide personal documents on sign up. We'll ask you for your KYC documents if you want to claim our bonuses, and if you're enjoying the site and want to verify your account and continue playing. We can't wait to hear what you think of the new site!

Hello Laura, thanks for the update.
So, am i able to pick any country listed to sign up? Smiley

--
Today i saw bitgame.com %50 deposit bonus up to 1000$, they accept players from my country, made a research on it, there are so many complaints about them. Anybody has own experience? ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5375686.0 )
Thanks.
I'm throwing a little in bitgame to give them a test drive.

Thanks a lot.
Looks like Playbetr and Betcoin is exactly same.
I have sent a few emails to sportsbooks, betcoin accepted me, maverickgames refused me.
Also i found different bookies accepts crypto deposit/withdraw, please consider adding them to the list.
wolf.bet,
gamdom,
moonbet.io,
betja.com
betfury.io (they limited me at my first day i placed bets on player props and yellow card market, they do not ask for documents(Kyc) withdraw takes so much time and you are able to be part of system and get some passive income. but they are limiting players after a few bets... so this might be a bad idea.

and most importantly wink.org when you are wagering, they are giving you 'live' tokens. and you are staking live tokens to be part of system. Right now they are giving %50 of the profit for stakers everyday. It was twice a day before. And most importantly if website makes profit, it shares. If website loses money, they do not cut it from you...

I guess future of betting is something like this. Every bettor will be the house one day. Who doesn't like passive income? Please share if you guys know any profit sharing system like this.
Oh, also there is rollbit, they are also sharing their profits but its around %20 at casino, %10 at sportsbook if i am not mistaken. plus, you have to buy NFT. They do have a rakeback system which is hard to understand. I will try Rollbit soon.
Thanks for the books. I'll look into them all. What's not in NR will go up. After a while a rating will go up.

Playbetr and Betcoin are operated separately, but are both part of a growing network of cryptocurrency casinos. You can certainly open accounts at both sites.

Payouts without delay is what is needed to gain trust. The rest can be used to set up a scam. KYC is a detriment to us players. It's a hassle not needed.

733  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a reliable sports betting site that offers a welcome bonus? on: May 16, 2022, 08:47:56 PM
Nitrobetting 100% bonus for sports.
Nitrogen Sports isn't really popular anymore which is the primary reason why they renamed their site and are trying to improve its reputation. This is also why many gamblers don't recommend it anymore for sports betting in this forum.

And, signup/welcome bonuses would be worth it if it's a legit gambling site and not just to bait the new players and it's like to force you to bet or deposit to get the bonus.
It's difficult to actually win free money through the welcome bonuses in legit FIAT and crypto sports betting sites due to high wagering requirements etc. They are only worth it for site testing purposes.

I don't think that Nitrogensports renamed their site because of reputation here since they are rated high outside of this forum. A majority of their business is outside of this forum and the Nitrogensports name helps. The reasons that I stated Nitrobetting for sports bonuses is that their margins are much tighter than other books being mentioned. High margins negate bonuses. Nitrobetting also has unique lines, from what I've seen, making them beatable. Vanilla lines with high margins is unbeatable. You can get edges at Nitrobetting on lines alone. Nitrobetting also has a low KYC rate compared to others mentioned solely for sports bonus.

Like i said i would, i've created an account on Playbetr and i'ill give my impressions to add to the thread, i will also post on their thread so people there can have more info if they want to.

Layout: C, the site has a clean layout but is kinda clunky and a little slow, it lacks some basic info like a page to show if your withdrawl was already approved, i found a visual bug where the numbers simply disappear when trying to bet O/U goals, it's also extremelly annoying how every time you open a new tab you have to choose a coin for the site to convert to so you can bet despite having it already set in my configuration page.

Deposit: S, instantaneous with my e-wallet.

Withdrawl: B, here i had a big problem but i can understand why, my e-wallet was just recently added and it looks like everything wasn't working 100% so the withdrawls were delayed, but after it was fixed things started working well, the withdrawl itself takes around 12 hours, not the fastest but not bad.

Coins: B+, A lot of options and you can use FIAT, the problem is when you deposit BRL it will automatically convert to USD, i wish i could just use BRL.

Bonus: D-, I don't like deposit bonus so i can't comment on that, but they have a very strange boosted odds system, when i asked the live chat support said that you have to request the boosted odds AFTER the bet is settled, wich sounds  VERY strange and laborious to me, i've tried 3 times but they all lost so i don't know what will really happen, but i have a strong gut feeling that this won't even work, i expected them to say "no it's not like that" or "you've got it wrong" or something like that.

Betting Limits: F-, Playbetr is without any doubt one of the worst experiences that i've ever had when it comes to betting limits. I love CSGO, and the biggest tournament of the year is happen right now, do you know how much they let me bet? 8 fucking dollars, that PATHETIC, why would even open a market to let people bet 8 dollars?

Odds: A, great odds.

Support: B+, live chat is just ok compared to the best sites, they take some time to answer, but in general they were very attentive in solving the e-wallet problem i've described before.

I consider them a C+/B sportsbooks in general, but if they don't fix these betting limits it's just impossible for me to use their services.

On another note, do you know if i can create an account on Betcoin without any problem now? I want to test them to see if they have the same betting limits.
This is great feedback, thanks! We need more of this.

This was Playbetr's response in their dedicated thread.

Quote
Thank you so much for the detailed, honest feedback. We love constructive criticism, and throughout the years, it has been the number 1 contributor to our improvements!

Regarding the layout, it is a work in progress. We have many updates going on constantly and tbh, in the past, improvements to the look have taken a backseat to improvements to the experience. Expect some major improvements to be rolled out within the *fingers crossed* next 3 months.

We know that claiming the odds boosts by support ticket is a pain. That is a limitation of our software, as well, but look for some exciting updates to that in the near future. In the meantime. we are offering very appealing daily specials that, frankly, put us at a huge marginal disadvantage, so we hope the additional payouts are worth the 30 seconds it takes to fill the support ticket and claim your additional winnings. And we assure you that everyone is getting their payouts, when claimed!

ESports limits... We are sure you guys have seen the many reports, here in the forum, of eSports abuse. As a fairly new sport, which pays its players very little for the lower leagues, we have no choice at this point but to limit players on eSports as a way of preventing abuse. It is far more widespread than you may think and our system has no way of immediately distinguishing legitimate players from abusive players. We have been hit countless times by eSports team members and their friends, as has every site on here. We have low limits on 4th tier football leagues for the same reason. That said, we are HUGE supporters of eSports and believe it is the future of sporting, in general. We are working closely with the odds providers and sporting leagues to detect and eliminate these issues. We are also working to raise our limits on the higher tiered leagues and events.

Finally, the average withdrawal time is 15-30 minutes for fiat. As you mentioned, we had some issues with the new payment provider, which should now be resolved.

Once again, thanks for the great feedback. We agree with your comments and can't wait for you to see all the improvements, which are coming!

738  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top Crypto SportsBetting Sites For US Citizens Abroad? on: May 07, 2022, 11:57:44 AM
US Citizen here but im abroad most of the year.  Where im located, i do have a utility bill in my name.

What crypto sportsbooks can i play on?  Remember i played on nitrogensports years ago and it was fine.  But now apparently they don't take US players?  Or is it only US players in the US?  im outside us and thus my ip address would show non us and would not be using a vpn etc.  But do they not allow us citizens so i cant play regardless?  Remember using binance abroad with no issues until they mentioned no us citizens allowed so i then had to withdraw my funds.  Had no issue using binance.com non us site for long time because i only logged in my binance account while abroad.

Are there crypto sportsbooks that do not have KYC or do they all do?  i have no issue with that but again im a us citizen so don't want any issue where a site kyc me and after i send in my usa id, well my utility bill is going to be a different country since well im abroad and you can see it from my ip address.  Heard someone mention nitrogen isn't that reliable anymore?  When did they ban us player?  So us players outside the us is fine?  Know many sites do that kyc thing where they ask for lot of documents only to stall and possibly lie or make new rules up so they won't pay your balance out so like to know this.  Or avoid all crypto sportsbooks?

I just sent a support ticket to Nitrogen asking if they took US players. They do take US citizens.

Hello all .Can you suggest a cryto  spoortsbookmakers with a diposit bonus

So that I can bet on this bonus straight away

The best that I've seen for sports is 100% at Nitrobetting.eu

Then they have 100% for poker and 200% for casino.

I’m not familiar with this sportsbetting website, Do you mean nitrogensports or really that particular website? Anyway deposit bonus is common offer by the casino for new players and sometimes they are adding free spin on top of the deposit bonus to make new players will be encouraged to play on there casino. The only problem was there wagering requirements which is so high and almost impossible to clear by just casually gambling unless you have patience to bet only small for a long period of time. I don’t know if there’s really someone manage to complete here but it’s very rare.

The site is nitrobetting.eu . I think that they are one of the few that are anonymous and offer a "sports betting" bonus. It does seem most offer casino bonuses. As long as you don't use multiple accounts, they aren't going to require KYC.

I am surprised that Sportsbet.io is rated at C. I also tested so many sportsbooks that accepted crypto currencies. I am still using Sportsbet.io up to now because I haven't experienced problems there. I can only remember 1 issue and it was solved in the same day. Nitrogensports with all due respect is now red-tagged. I also like Nitrogen but they don't have too many choices and I also prefer Sportsbet's UI. I haven't tried Playbetr but I already visited their site many times and their UI seemed cool too. But I am also surprised that they made it as class A because they just started few years ago.

Thanks for the input inthelongrun. Betcoin's been around since 2013. Playbetr is their sister site. The lines at Playbetr are nice. You'll find the very best line you can get many times. I play the NHL and today in the NHL right now the have the best line in 3 of the 4 games with Florida, Colorado and the Rangers. Sportsbet is definitely popular here at BCT. It's not that they are a bad book. There are just some things such as lines, higher KYC rate than other books, some strange rules (even though I haven't seen this invoked) such as requiring a 5x rollover if they suspect money laundering that pushed the rating down some.
