761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 31, 2023, 03:21:40 PM
I have already seen some videos about slapping contests and tournaments. I'm not amazed at the sport really, if it is to be called that. What amazed me was how people are interested in joining the contests.

I guess many have watched that slapping match between the tattooed small guy with long hair against a much much bigger guy. What happened was expected. How could that small guy win over that giant on a slapping contest? There was not even a way to beat the big guy.

Yes indeed, the advantage is high and what to expect with the outcome? I see your point and still there are people who continue to patronize this event, not sure still if we can call it a sport but from the people who are supporting and playing this, they can take it as one kind of sport that they might find themselves getting some advantages from different opponents that they might take.

All will be depending on how those people will take it and how the venue will be filled out of viewers and participants that are willing to play and support the events.

Joining this kind of contest is interesting for other people because it doesn't need much skill but rather strength to knock down the opponent. Of course, it can provide fame and money but I honestly don't like watching this type of so caller sports. I just don't like watching women slapping and hurting each other because I don't find it appropriate for women to hurt each other that way just for money. The organization is surely earning a lot from its events.
762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 29, 2023, 02:18:40 PM
I think that safe safe buying is not a way to say it, because the Bitcoin market is known to be very volatile, it would be irresponsible to say that the safest time to buy is now, because the market can go down without realizing it, so comparing it with another Market stage I think it is time to buy, I think that now we must make a sketch of what can happen in a while, around 2024 I already think that it could be above the $70k that was its last ATH, then these things are what must be taken into consideration to invest, in addition to the fact that the money invested in Bitcoin will never be a bad decision.

If you are a long-term investor, then I think this is the perfect time to buy, even if the bitcoin price drops again it's not too scary as long as you hold your bitcoin, you never lose because you also know bitcoin always recovers. But if you are afraid of bitcoin falling deeper but decide not to buy and bitcoin will not decrease but will increase, you will regret it even more because you will buy at a higher price than the current price. Looking at the ATH bitcoin will reach during the next bull season, you can see that the current price is the best.

If you didn't buy the last bearish price, you can still buy right now because the market is still trying to approach its recovery phase. It is not too late to buy especially if your goal is to hold for a long-term investment. It's still safe to buy and the opportunity to invest is still open for everyone. The bullish season isn't happening yet and it may still take time. It will only be unsafe to buy during the bull trend.
763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as wealth. on: January 29, 2023, 01:40:23 PM
Engaging in crypto doesn't guarantee that you'll become financially stable or wealthy. Because not all traders are able to gain when they trade even they're long been here and used to the market movement and knowledgeable on how to make an analysis. That's why many of us don't go full time because we can't only rely on trading (though there are traders who managed to do so) and it's wise to have another resources where we can earn a stable income.

Anyway, trading/investing are profitable but it can't make you wealthy using a small capital and in a short period. Hence, be aware of the facts before trying to engage yourself to avoid having disappointment.
This is a misconception which is very common, newbies seem to believe that just because they become part of this market riches will come their way and nothing could be further from the truth.

In order for anyone to make profits they need someone else to lose, this means that if we buy bitcoin there is someone else out there who believes bitcoin will go down soon and this is what makes them willing to sell, the trader which can take the correct decision the most often is the one which becomes a long term winner, and it is unlikely a newbie has the necessary skills to compete against traders which have been here for years and will end up losing their coins to them.

Trading is wealth only if you have the skills and the ability to trade wisely and successfully but keep in mind that trading can also take everything away from you once you can't deal with the volatility of the market. It requires knowledge and understanding about the aspects of trading as well as technicalities for you to understand everything. Trading isn't as easy as others think because it has lots of risks if done without proper knowledge.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: January 28, 2023, 07:58:35 PM
Money becomes the root of all evil because of greedy people who are doing illegalities involving it. It creates the worst sins like corruption and crime. Money alone isn't evil but people are making sins because of aiming for it. The purpose of money is for people to survive life but others are committing sins because they can't earn money the right way and some people are too greedy and focus on earning more regardless of how to earn it. It's fine to focus on earning money but we have to earn it without violating anything.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about Terra Luna Classic on: January 28, 2023, 07:33:24 PM
I was still hold Luna for $ 350, I bought 7 months ago when Luna drop price was significant and if calculated there was a profit of around $ 30 because I bought $ 320, I think Luna still had power for rising, this could be seen from the volume of large transactions and binance It is still a power of Luna to continue to pump in the future.
The ecosystem is practically dead, I don’t exclude pumps and dumps from manipulators, but in order not to lose money, I would wait for growth by 200-300% and take my investments, and then calmly wait for growth with free coins. But I would not invest large sums in this project.

We can't rely on this coin's capability because its reputation is completely ruined but we can take advantage of its pump and dump and just make a profit out of it. We only have to make sure that we are taking profit wisely because this type of coin isn't reliable when it comes to long-term holding so we should still be careful.
766  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 28, 2023, 07:07:42 PM
What about laptops? They give the experience of a desktop with their large screens and full keyboards, along with the battery that in most cases will allow you to use the device for about 2 hours.
This is the best option for most uses. Probably the only downside of a laptop is its weight when you move around a lot, but there are no perfect devices. You always sacrifice something to get something else.

You know what's cool? Tablets. They're like the perfect mix of smartphones and computers. They have a big enough screen and good resolution to make using them comfortable, but they're still portable so you can take 'em anywhere. Plus, you can get online whenever, wherever. And the battery life is way better than a laptop.

Tablet with a desktop mode feature will be much better, so the experience will be similar as using laptop or pc. Of course this kind of tablet costs more money than normal entry level tablet, but if the main purpose is about to play anywhere, mobile phone is more than enough because currently most mobile phone has big enough screen. I myself mostly gamble at home, so I use my laptop/pc most of the time. I will not gamble in public place although it is easy to gamble with phone, but the main problem is that it is dangerous to gamble in public places since gambling is illegal activity in my country.

Situation like this gives PC/laptop an advantage for people who are living in a gambling restricted places, you can't just enjoy your gambling anywhere, fearing that law enforcers will catch you and will be the reason for you getting in jail, you can simply stay at home and use VPN to enjoy playing, there are casinos who allows the use of VPN though it's still dangerous as they can easily tag you since there is VPN who are being detected as suspicious due to some abusive usages.

Vpns could also be used in mobile phones if you only know how to use it properly. Personally, I would prefer to use mobile phones because I'm not always at home. I find it more convenient to gamble every time I travel through using a desktop is easier at the convenience of our homes. I just appreciate that online gambling can be done everywhere through mobile phones, especially during the times that we need to go out of the house. We only have to bear with the smaller screens.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 28, 2023, 06:47:59 PM
Why people are really that making it as a big issue about exposing off their identities which considering that we've been long time submitting our info into those services and other things dealing in real life?
It doesnt really make sense though, myself wont really be bothered on submitting info as long i would be seeing that it would be something you could really trust on.KYC is getting stricter and
becomes wider on which even crypto related services and platforms is no really exception into that which we should really gradually expecting the reality that we are dealing
of with.

It's because, for the majority of crypto-gamblers, crypto-gambling is not supposed to be that way. We can't blame these people as they are not really comfortable providing KYC that's why they consider gambling in crypto.

However, these people should at least accept the fact that crypto-casinos will eventually face full regulation as part of being a legal business.

I'm always vocal about accepting KYC-related terms and I'm fine at complying with KYC in crypto-gambling. But with the rise of new crypto-gambling sites that we just want to test the waters, do you consider complying with KYC at those right away?

Some people have chosen crypto gambling because they prefer to keep their identities in private and they don't want to expose their identities for some reason. If they will just keep in mind that complying with the KYC is no big deal then they won't make it a big issue. They Shouldn't fear KYC anymore because most casinos nowadays require it. It's also for our own safety and so far, I haven't heard any bad feedback about KYCs.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 27, 2023, 05:10:45 PM
Bitcoin is a good and profitable option but altcoins could also be a good source of profit specifically the potential coins. They are also volatile but we can take advantage of them and earn from them in the long run. We can't rely on Bitcoin only because altcoins also offer an opportunity for us to earn. There will also be a big risk but good altcoins especially the top coins that are well-established are worth the risk.
769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your successes over the past 5 years on: January 27, 2023, 04:19:23 PM
In the past few years, I can say that I have taken lots of risks and it went all well for me so far. I invested in hyped coins despite their issues and made a good profit from them and when I sold them during their pump, I bought potential coins like Bitcoin, Etheteum, and BNB and made a good profit from them again. I cashed out the profit and reinvested during the bearish season. That has been my crypto routine which I think is an effective personal strategy for me.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 27, 2023, 03:52:52 PM
From this thread and others that have been opened before around here, I would say that some people underestimate the money required to start a casino, which can be an expensive business.

It is not supposed to be about paying lucky ones with the money of the unlucky ones, there must be a solid reserve of money for the casino to pay things like bonuses, advertisement, salaries of their employees, lawyers, licenses, etc. So while indeed, the casino earns money from the activity of gamblers, it not so simple as a transfer of money between people who gamble.

One needs to have several millions in order to open a sturdy platform, like any other kind of enterprise.

I agree and they could have other resources to pay their winners but money from lossing players could also be another source of funds for them especially for casinos without a strong foundation yet. That's what actually what they do with the loss from their players, they use it to pay for everything to keep their business running which also includes the payment for winners. They need innitial funds but they also need to make a profit.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 27, 2023, 03:29:58 PM
<snip>

I believe it is possible. But the thing is, it rarely happens. In the past, I had registered on various casinos and then did not played thought of playing there even once. If I did not miss anything, I don't receive any bonus from that.
Your plan could be a waste of time or any effort (do it's easy to do), especially if you tried hundreds already and nothing happened. But who knows?
Real gamblers register at the casino after getting to know the casino well before registration. Moreover, a regular gambler will definitely try to make some deposit at that platform after joining. There are no such gambling sites that offer bonuses with out any deposit. But there are some gamblers who are eligible to receive bonus as per their requirement. Bonuses are given to those gamblers who deposit a certain amount and conduct gambling accordingly and sudden inactivity for any reason.
Yeah maybe some casinos will offer welcome back bonuses? but i haven't heard any of it . And yes you are right they will not give any bonuses if a player will not deposit any amount of money . Maybe they can be labeled as OG of the website but bonuses for early registrant are not possible, maybe a referral is more possible than that.

I haven't heard of it as well. Maybe they will only do it for their VIP players and big-time wagers. It will be a big loss if big-time players will quit on them so it will be a good way to convince them to play on their site again but I don't think casinos will offer any bonuses to players who have just registered and didn't deposit or wagered on them. They will just send invitation emails but I'm sure that they won't spend funds for free as a welcome-back bonus.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tom Brady's Gambling and HUGE loss. on: January 27, 2023, 03:05:26 PM
Honestly, I'd say he took quite the gamble. Maybe the gambler of the year for 2022! This man bet his marriage on making it all the way to the super bowl. He also bet the majority of his wealth on the FTX scam. Unfortunately Mr. Brady has lost it all! You have got to feel bad for the guy. I am a huge Brady fan, and can sympathize with his losses. Surely many people that don't like him for whatever reason may be happy with his current predicament, which is honestly pretty sad if that is the case. We are all human here, and dealing with tremendous loss is difficult. Especially when you're in the lime light. I recently heard on a radio talk show a clip from a reporter asking Tom Brady just the other day what he was going to do now? Tom replied, " You know *name of the reporter* if I knew what I was going to do I would have already F$%king done it!" Poor Tom. I would bet that Brady stays at it, he is not going to end his career like this, having one of the most brutal years personally 1000% affected his game, I would bet that he gets picked up by another team soon, hopefully New England! Any thoughts on this?
I don't know who Tom Brady is, but after reading this thread I tried to find out who he is and it turns out that Tom Brady is an NFL legend. because in the beginning I never bet on NFL games.

it was so sad when the NFL legend lost so much money in the FTX crash and he lost his wife as well. but what if it is already a risk that must be borne by Tom Brady when investing in FTX. I consider investing in exchange platforms like gambling, maybe you will gain in the beginning but will lose in the end like Tom Brady.
it would be very sad if if I were Tom Brady there would be lots of questions raised and just silently lamenting the fate of not being able to answer anything every time there was a question about that incident.

I couldn't imagine how he chose the super bowl over his wife. That was such a desperate move. Risking all his wealth on scam which is also their conjugal property is too insane. However, he has his own reason for doing all these things but for ordinary people, we'll surely never replace our life partners in the name of money. For sure, he is already facing the consequences of his actions and might regret things later on. Well, we can't blame the people who would always ask questions about his decision.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: January 26, 2023, 05:13:19 PM
Developers will always find ways to make their project legit and reliable simply by making high-profit promises which are too good to be true. Investors who fall for their trap are the people that they will be milking to make money. Scam projects can easily attrack investord who want huge profit in just a short period. Despite hearing good promises of profit, we should still do our own research and analyze everything to know if a project is legit.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you into crypto at the moment? on: January 26, 2023, 04:35:48 PM
I've actually stayed with crypto even during the bearish season and I still find it as a good opportunity to make money. I'm still into crypto at the moment to invest and hold while I still have a chance. I don't want to miss the chance of buying while the price of potential coins is still affordable and would probably hold them until the bullish season approaches.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 26, 2023, 03:49:10 PM
Casinos depend on the people's return for cashflow. They know that at some point, winners will return to their premises and bet again, even if they won jackpots. It's just the way things go. Most of these jackpot winners end up losing their money to the same casino/people who gave them the prize because of poor cash management. Then end up betting again, chasing their luck on a win that you might as well expect would never come. You aren't supposed to turn a profit in betting within a casino in the first place, that's why I always advocate for gambling for entertainment only, never for profit. Because at the end of the day, you'll end up disappointed and penniless when you gamble for profit.

It will be impossible for a casino to release money for winners without taking funds for losses. The casino relies on its bettors and our losses will be their way to make a profit. Without our losses, they can't finance the jackpot prizes. That's the cycle of casinos and we can't blame them for making money out of our bets. Expect that we are spending in all our losses and it is already our part to be responsible iforit.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This Smells Like Hypocrisy on: January 26, 2023, 03:22:00 PM
^

As far as I know Japanese are forbidden to gamble online, except for those that are not on the list of allowed games, but as we all know this restriction is easily circumvented by gambling in online casino which is in other jurisdictions and as far as I know Japanese authorities are not even trying to fight it. So really the Japanese are not as restricted in gambling as the OP suggests.

If they will ban it, they should have set specific rules and released unrestricted games so their citizens will not be confused. Others might never know that they are already playing forbidden gambling games. However, they could have their own rule and law as a country because they might have different analyses about gamblingbut I hope that they willbe clearer about this case to their people.
777  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 26, 2023, 02:56:51 PM
Quote
In gambling, many must lose so that the few may win

This is the reality. Everyone couldn't be winners in gambling. Most of us have to lose so others would get their chance to win. Casinos can't sustain to provide winnings for all their players so we have no choice but just to rely on our luck. Things will only differ on how we deal with the risks of gambling by knowing when to stop especially if we're already losing too much.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Trustwallet Safe? on: January 25, 2023, 04:51:54 PM
There are many cryptocurrency wallet softwares like metamask, trustwallet. I'm currently using Trustwallet to store my cryptocurrencies. I heard some people say that it can be hacked!
Can people hack my trustwallet?
Is it safe?
How to protect my trustwallet account?
Thanks in advance ♡
I have been using Trustwallet for a long time, but until now no one has hacked my wallet. Basically, Truswallet is safe to use with devices that support the application. To protect your Wallet or Truswallet you should code and password or other privacy so that no one knows it. thus all devices will be very safe to use including trust wallet

I also have the same sentiments toward the said wallet. I've been using Trust wallet for almost five years and so far, all my transactions have been smooth. I didn't encounter any hacking incidents because I made sure that the application itself have a safe and secure password to protect it. Sometimes, the safety of our funds depends on how we handle them responsibly. Be careful in all the clicks that you do because scammers are just everywhere on the internet.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: January 25, 2023, 04:35:11 PM
So is there any Free crypto coins tokens ?
Like Youtube is full of videos but non of them brought to me Free crypto.
Can any legit old member enlight us here from where we get the Free crypto.
We have try faucets but it's waste of time.

So many newbies Also want to know how to get crypto for real ?

And we want instant payments into our wallets not like the faucets doing it we have to wait month before we can withdraw 2$ into our wallets.

So IS there any sure way to get some Free airdrops instant please dont suggest those here who might pay maybe not Im Looking for sure deals.
of course there are lots of free crypto tokens and coins that you can get here, but not instantly friends, you need to pass a few weeks and even a few months you will get all of that by participating in several projects with prizes and airdrops provided on this forum. I think you can check it yourself and get free crypto coins
There are open opportunities that the crypto community could offer but we can't just get free coins by doing nothing because we also have to work for them. Airdrops, bounty and signature campaigns, and other crypto-related jobs can help you get good coins for free but you also have to take an effort. There are free coins from fake projects and you'll only be paid with non-valued coins so you still need to be skeptical and look for legit ones.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 25, 2023, 03:57:21 PM
The accessibility and availability of online casinos shouldn't be an excuse for a person to fall for gambling addiction. Even physical gambling could also be addictive. Lack of self-control and discipline is the root cause of excessive gambling. We are in an innovative era of technology wherein everything on the internet could easily be developed including online casinos so we can't say that they increase the number of gambling addicts because the decision to gamble still relies on us.
