Smith's gone lol That too 8 runs short for a century.

Now they dropped the 9th wicket so 2 more wickets still left for 235 and 23 more runs to chase. England are playing well now.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 17, 2019, 02:16:11 PM
Damn! Smith got injured but no clue if the injury is serious. Now chances of Australia getting a score of 300 is more probable.

Hope England take these 4 wickets soon and end Aussie's innings with less than 50 runs to chase. Then having two more innings would look more possible in a 1.5 days period.

Quote
Steven Smith is coming back out to bat! Unbowed, unbroken, and still unbeaten. Lively reception, some boos audible this time...

That's fast :-P

England must be sad now but they got the 7th wicket. They should have been quick taking 3 more wickets but they did not get time and now with Smith back, it's going to be tough  Sad
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 17, 2019, 12:25:04 PM
Looks like Steve Smith is going to make another century today. At the end of the first session of today's play he is unbeaten on 53, with Tim Paine at 21 not out for company. But now this match is important only for statistical purposes. One and half days of play remain and there is virtually zero chance of getting a result. But still, it will be good if Smith makes another century.

Even if Smith scores a century, they need 103 more runs to chase plus need runs to put on board for England to chase. I don't think he would even be interested in this match as the result is pretty clear. It will just be an achievement for him instead of the team. England bowlers are looking bored now to take wickets and if they want to play again for their second innings, they should take Paine's wicket soon.

Telegram desktop app and even android app is working fine but it doesn't open in Chrome browser as the ISP is banned I guess while I use Opera and it works fine with VPN.

Regarding the article, Ambani has had a profit of ₹8.4 billion this year with Jio and there were rumors of it going in loss but it's not. It's other telecoms facing loss due to Jio like BSNL. Also, him adopting blockchain technology is not so positive as there is no ban on the technology but the currency is under scrutiny.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 16, 2019, 08:24:24 PM
Three days gone and still we have not completed two innings out of the four innings of the Test. We are not even half way. Tomorrow even if we see the match continuing, I do not think it will be that easy for England to wrap up Australians, not when Smith is there.

Only two days left but there are still 2.5 (more less) innings left to complete. This test possibly can end up having a draw.

Smith's wicket is tough to take but not impossible so hope so England manage to end up the innings before lunch. Still two innings cannot complete in less than 2 days so it's unfair for the teams too if the match ends in a draw. I feel they should declare the result based on 1 innings but then their rules are different. Also, if this match is drawn, chances of England winning the series are narrow then.

Looks like Australia won't manage to chase the runs with it raining and they already lost 4 wickets. Don't think they'll even get to play 2 full days till 18th as they already lost over 1.5 days with the rain. England played well in the first innings and now depending on how Smith performs tomorrow, I guess they'll manage another 150 more and England may win the first innings and this game too.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 15, 2019, 08:08:57 AM

Gayle did play excellent but Virat kholi outclass everyone again and won the match for the Indians. He is in superb form and rightly declared the Man of the match as well as the Man of the series. Well Played !!!

I seriously couldn't believe when I read India won the match. Virat supported the team till the end with Iyer else they had already lost 3 wickets early in the game and needed 160+ runs to chase. So happy for both Virat and Gayle Smiley

There are no spam sections but users who are create spam posts/topics. Even P&S society have some topics that have interesting discussions going on but users start with their personal attacks and keep taking the thread to 50+ pages and Speculation is the next where no predictions are made based on any logical analysis. Not to forget topics like the Wall Observer thread. People get most of their merits by posting images on that topic.

Just started watching the match now and noticed they are playing 35 overs game and they have to chase 270 runs. Damn! Rohit got run out and now Dhawan gone. They require a run rate of above 7 and I am losing hope now only. If Virat also gets out, I don't trust Pant and Iyer to manage a partnership of 100+ runs and they need one with 164 runs left now.

Gayle played fabulously in his 301th ODI. So happy for him.

Match delayed due to rain which means again the team batting first would have an advantage. Already over 2 hours of play have been lost which means less overs will be played. Hope England choose to bat first.

775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 13, 2019, 03:03:56 PM

Personal attacks ? Where ?

The whole thinking of dirty and clean coins simply does not work. There are no 'coins'. That's the point.

And i would defend any reputable business which is being attacked by people who don't know the technical details of bitcoin and therefore making wrong accusations.

You clearly said people like me sell KYC details for $20 for some shitcoins just because you want to support a site that supports money laundering. I don't know what was the reason you had to make a remark about what I do as that's not your concern.

Tainted cryptocoins' concept does exist even though they are difficult to trace but it's not impossible. You can choose to believe or ignore it it's your wish.

Quote
No, i do not own that business.

So, in your eyes.. everyone who cares about his privacy is a criminal ? That's some weird logic.

I never wrote you are a criminal or anyone who cares about privacy too. I only said that Chipmixer appears shady by being involved (if proved) in this money laundering which means it's involved in a criminal activity. Tomorrow other hackers/criminals will use the website and Chipmixer will still be safe according to the forum members is a weird logic as nobody is above the law. Exchanges have shut down for not complying with KYC/AML policies so I don't think Chipmixer too would be able to run smoothly if they get involved in such shady deals. And that's my opinion ONLY.

Quote
I am able to argue properly.
All i see in this section of the forum is some heavy misunderstanding on how bitcoin works. And this leads to wrong conclusions.
Whether it is how BTC technically works or how everyone caring about his privacy is a criminal. That's just plain stupid.

Caring about individual privacy is separate as you are not a business. Here the main subject is Chipmixer.

I said that people wouldn't use a mixer unless they want to launder money else paying extra fee just to avoid their coins from being traced but the point is that even these coins can be traced. Nothing is impossible. I did not call them criminals so don't change the meaning of my words as that's being stupid.

People who want to protect their privacy and who want to use mixers can do so at their own risk but that doesn't mean people like me who want to comply with rules as much as possible are stupid or fools or I don't care about privacy.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 13, 2019, 02:25:55 PM

My bet is on England or a draw for the 2nd test match. Australia is heavily dependent on Smith currently and I think they might be in trouble if Smith departs early this time around.

Me too. England have their homeland advantage too. Out of 5 tests, they should win atleast three so first one going bad is fine. They have more reliable batsmen than Australia currently. They should choose to bat first though to understand the wicket.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 13, 2019, 07:39:37 AM
No mention about Gayle playing his last ODI match but mostly people were cheering him for playing his 300th ODI.

BTW, BCCI wants to include cricket in LA Olympics now by 2028. I feel it's a great opportunity if they recognize Cricket also and was wondering what took them so long to include this sport.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 12, 2019, 06:41:40 PM
^^I find Clain's allegations pretty valid and even though it's not proved, this would be investigated. A mixer was most probably the best option for the hacker and if by any chance Chipmixer was infact involved, I don't see how can they not be blamed when the same happened with Bitmixer.

Quote
Bestmixer launched in May 2018. Only a month later, police began investigating the mixing service and found that over the course of one year, the "world's leading cryptocurrency mixing service" had managed to launder at least $200 million in cryptocurrency on behalf of customers.

The cryptocurrency processed through Bestmixer was considered potentially "tainted" -- in other words, connected to illegal activities and theft.

"Mixing Bitcoins that are obtained legally is not a crime but, other than the mathematical exercise, there no real benefit to it," Fokker said. "The legality changes when a mixing service advertises itself as a success[ful] method to avoid various anti-money laundering policies via anonymity. This is actively offering a money laundering service."

Honestly I do not think Chipmixer has something to do with this money laundering nor they are with the hackers. As we all know Chipmixer is a service that any of us can access.  It is probably automated, that disable it to stop any transaction made in it so I guess it is biased to accused them that they condone criminal actions.  I think it is best to see the next move of Chipmixer if they will cooperate with the investigation or not before saying anything against them.

I also want to see what Chipmixer does now and see them helping in the investigation. Since there is an allegation of such a huge amount involved, they should be cooperating while the members here are deviating the topic and personally attacking members to defend Chipmixer. Hope that Chipmixer replies soon.
