761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: February 03, 2023, 08:26:42 AM
usually people leave invite codes to me to represent the community so that they are distributed to the right people, now not many people leave invite codes anymore and also the demand is increasing so that invite codes are rare in my community

Great to hear that. Means that a lot of new people tries to join network. Thats surprising because total number of nodes is constantly decreasing. If you have any problem finding invitation I can share them with you. I think I can get ~10 each validation from me and my friends. Just PM me.
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the black swan event not to be expected anymore? on: February 02, 2023, 06:22:42 PM
Why is no one talking about the black swan event? Or are you saying we aren't going to see that again? Is there a chance that things won't always be the same with crypto? Is the FTX crash the only pain part we will see in this bear market? If the pandemic of 2020 never happened we won't have seen a buying opportunity of 3500$ for 1 Bitcoin. What do you guys have to say about this? Are we going to keep side ways until 2024 BTC halving now?

Oh I see you are a type of person that, after seeing first black swan, bet that every next swan will be black. Its not how it works. Black swans are not called black swans without a reason. Its because of the fact that its an extreme rare event that no one expect to happen. Its not an every bear market must have. It would not be a black swan if it would happen every time market expect it to happen.

And stop thinking about halving as a 100% certain pump event, because a black swan event for you may be a dump instead of pump after halving. How about that? And why halving is not that important in my opinion?

1st halving reduced monetary inflation from 25% to 12%. Second halving reduced monetary inflation from 9% to 4,5%. Now we are getting closer and closer to the 4th halving that will reduce bitcoin monetary inflation from 1.5% to 0.7%. Both numbers are negligible compared to 8% official CPI in US, 10% in EU or 80% in countries like Turkey. Halvings fundamental impact on bitcoin price is getting lower and lower with every next halving in oppose to macro data, FED decisions, interest rates, recessions and of course ADOPTION.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: February 02, 2023, 06:14:14 PM
2,275

At least not another 20% down. Hope its a bottom because less than 2k nodes is nothing to be proud about.

the Invite code crisis seems to be driving validated users down  Angry

What you mean by invite code crisis? First time i hear there is any problem on this field.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: The Dedollarisation is on the road on: February 02, 2023, 12:48:12 PM
Countries dedolarize (especially after us seizing Russia reserves after invasion on Ukraine) but individuals and companies are dollarizing which is reflected in growing DXY. Especially in hard times when local currencies face a risk of hyperinflation. I mean that USD is a peace of toilet paper, but there is no better alternative. Its the currency of the biggest economy of "west civilization". Civilization characterized by respect for private property and the individual human. So no one will go use china CBDC as china does not respect basic human rights (latest 0-Covid policy, 1-child policy just to serve as example). Also china is a potential US competition and in the event of a potential conflict, assets will be frozen. So the only people that will use China CBDC are china citizens and citizens of countries that are allies to china.

So far its a long way to go with a high probability of failure. So far "dollars are involved in nearly 90% of all transactions.".
765  Local / Polski / Re: Binance vs FTX on: February 02, 2023, 06:43:48 AM

Sprawdzam dziś ponownie, a tu taka niespodzianka:

Czy to nie pokazuje przypadkiem randomowych wartości ?Wink Wczoraj BNB to było tylko 500 mln, dzis już blisko 10 mld a całość rezerw sie nie zmienia.

EDIT: Ponownie odświerzyłem stronę:

Chyba to jest zbugowane i myli giełdy. Te rezerwy wyglądają na rezerwy Gate.io
766  Local / Polski / Re: Binance vs FTX on: February 01, 2023, 07:52:29 PM
"CZ alleges FTX paid $43m to run Binance FUD in media"
https://crypto.news/cz-alleges-ftx-paid-43m-to-run-binance-fud-in-media/

Taki oto news mi się rzucił ostatnio w oko. FUD działał i byliśmy dzięki temu świadkiem stress testu największej giełdy.

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/binance/
Sprzedali do bitcoina, czy kreatywna księgowość, by uciszyć ferment?
767  Economy / Economics / Re: Throwback - Tesla lost $204 million in Bitcoin, but learn the lesson from this! on: February 01, 2023, 06:31:56 PM
The important lesson: No matter if you are individual OR big company you have to have perfect timing for buying and selling. Moreover, you need to know proper strategy to play (no matter how many fouls it would do) but you have to save up your investments and make profits.

Lesson learned? What lesson?

Official story is that:

1- Elon invested in bitcoin long term ... as it turned out later, without checking what bitcoin is and how it works.
2- Elon did research bitcoin and find out its not environment friendly XD (after initial investment)
3- Elon FUDs bitcoin
4- Elon shill shitcoin like cumrocket
5- Elon post "diamond hands"
6- Elon dump at loss

So bad timing is not the whole story... Being a dumbass or market manipulator with fake official story or on drugs is much closer.
768  Economy / Speculation / Re: FED seem like the most powerful manipulator overall on: February 01, 2023, 11:36:41 AM
FED does not have tools to impact markets. They have a tool to make you think they have tools Smiley

But surely that means they have the tools to impact markets if they can impact enough people in those markets..

Yea, but only to the certain degree. As I said. 10% doing 90% talking. So if talking is no longer working those 10% means nothing. And we see how its being played out last months. Powell is trying to be hawkish, raising rates, but market is pumping for last 3 months knowing that monetary system is totally out of FED control. They simply made everyone, who believes in their lies sell and now they just tilting at windmills. They control only those dollars that are on their balance sheet. They don't control whole Eurodollar system which is cashless and reserveless (offshore dollars). Simply too many identities all over the world can put new units into circulation. USD is out of control. Especially out of fed control.

"Since the Eurodollar market is not run by any government agency its growth is hard to estimate. However, the Eurodollar market is by a wide margin the largest source of global finance. In 1997, nearly 90% of all international loans were made this way"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurodollar

Try to controll that mr Powell.
769  Economy / Speculation / Re: FED seem like the most powerful manipulator overall on: January 31, 2023, 04:48:40 PM
Once upon a time I used to have no idea about the so called FED meeting while I was in crypto space but now everyone seems to be more interested in the FED as if they hold the key to where the market is heading, in fact it looks like the case, is FED not the greatest market manipulators to ever existed? Every people in crypto are now looking forward to February 1st for either a pump or a dump, depending on what the FED offers us. I feel like the FED has the power over everything stock or crypto.

That's what they want you to believe Smiley And they are super successful with this. 90% of monetary policy is talking, 10% is doing. They tell you they will be hawkish so you sell and limit spending. Its kinda self-fulfilling prophecy.

Jeff Snider explain it in a simple way - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNa-fewraJA&t=36s&ab_channel=WhatBitcoinDid
FED does not have tools to impact markets nor they even know what is going on and how money works. They have a tool to make you think they have tools Smiley

What we will see in February 1st is a single day strong volatility that does not influence rest of the trading month. People get excited about huge dump/pump, not realizing its being eaten up in next 2 trading days and market continue to do its job going in direction it would go without announcement. We just have to look at wider picture and ignore the fact that market changed in a casino for 1 day a month. You will see trends that makes FED do what they do istead of gambling on single FED decision. Who cares if they will stop rising rates this time or after 3 months? They will do it sooner or later, inflation is already dumping. Market knows it and buys the dip. Will sell the top after FED pivot to guys who still wait for better times.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest fear about Bitcoin Halving. on: January 31, 2023, 12:59:22 PM
Bitcoin halving is characterised by price boom and this is a general believe of some bitcoiners and members of this forum.
My greatest fear is; what if 2024 halving comes and go without any kind of bull run? Don't you think that there will be a serious problem and panic in the industry?
This is because 2024 halving is the greatest available hype that can move the market. Besides that, I don't see any possible wave that can move Bitcoin to a new ATH. Unless US government will have to make BTC a legal tender.

Of course every next halving will have lesser impact on price. At least fundamentals of each consecutive halving are much lower.

So its exactly like DooMAD said. You are scared that dumb buyers will get disappointed. Thats your biggest fear? in worst case scenario they will dump cheap coins at the bottom for smart money because bitcoin is not all about pump and dump around halvings.

The above post could just as easily be phrased: "What if the mindless hype isn't generating enough hype anymore?" and would convey much the same sentiment. I mean, come on, this is just silly.

771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan was a major early investor in Ethereum? on: January 31, 2023, 08:43:33 AM
Reason #1001 why I only invest in bitcoin. Everything else is a copycat scam token.

What makes you think that bitcoin is 100% clean? That it was not made by CIA or other organization?
Why the fact of J.P. Morgan being secred, seed investors makes ETH not worth to use/invest?
What's wrong with consulting ETH's business model (tokenomics) with the bankers from J.P Morgan?
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: January 31, 2023, 08:30:30 AM
I want to ask everyone, now the number of altcoins is increasing and the prices are various, do you know, in your opinion, what altcoins are still cheap now but have good potential for the future?
I want to hear an explanation from you?

BNB still have good fundamentals/price ratio. Here is a thread I made about BNB back when it was @15$.

Phenomenon of BNB (Fundamental analysis BNB/USD)

Now, despite the fact its at 300$ and we are in 600 days+ bear market it still looks good. I'll update calculations (P/E indicators) when i'll find a time.
If you want high risk/reward coin with tiny marketcap take a look at IDENA. First Proof-of-person blockchain. No KYC. Sybil resistance achieved via Turing test.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks soon on: January 29, 2023, 09:37:38 AM
Traditional banks will adapt to crypto sooner or later. Some banks are already offering crypto related products. And more to come

I hope its gona be later than sooner. Bitcoin does not need banks. Banks needs bitcoin to steal purchase power from bitcoiners by fractional reserve system and money creation.

Money creation system - is bitcoin creation resistant?
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big Banks and MainStream on: January 29, 2023, 09:33:56 AM
What do the big banks and mainstream institutions think of bitcoin?

It depends if we are in bear market or bull run. In bear markets they are calling "bitcoin is dead" - https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/ to create even more fud. In bull runs they call a 100k$ or 1 mln$:

JPMorgan says bitcoin could rally as high as $100000
JPMorgan: Bitcoin price could rise to $146K as it competes

So they are like counter indicator for us, experienced crypto traders.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will BTC do in event of US default on its debt? on: January 29, 2023, 09:28:41 AM
My limited knowledge leads me to believe that BTC is truly independent of the U.S. dollar, and of all the U.S. markets.  However, watching the value of BTC, and indeed pretty much all of the crypto currencies, it appears they are very strongly influenced by markets.

"Earnings don't move the overall market; it's the Federal Reserve Board... focus on the central banks, and focus on the movement of liquidity... most people in the market are looking for earnings and conventional measures. It's liquidity that moves markets."
Stanley Druckenmiller

Stanley Druckenmiller was one of the best traders. Working as lead portfolio manager for Quantum Fund (George Soros).
And liquidity affect all markets equally. If there is a shortage of dollars, all assets dump. If dollars are print into economy, all assets are booming.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 28, 2023, 07:42:57 PM
Yes that's a strategy to beat casino but with extreme low probability that is not paid with high enough reward (poor risk/reward ratio) so its not the strategy that can be used for anyone because on average 60 out of 100 will not even double before loosing everything. So its not like every person who starts wins and only those who stays long enough in casino are losing. Some lose everything without being in a profit even a penny. It's a myth that new gamblers (first time in a casino) are luckier than others.

Casino is a place to have fun and feel extreme emotions. Not a place to easily win first million.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: January 28, 2023, 07:36:19 PM
Yes, we are working on it. If you have any suggestions about soon coming final/semifinal matches, be free to PM me or share your thoughts here.

Great to see developers building use-cases on idena. Whats are your palns for future? Any other product?

I think you can write few posts about your betting tool in gambling section or gambling duscission to find userbase.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found long forgotten sats in my wallet but. on: January 28, 2023, 07:23:50 PM
I have some Bitcoin in my old coinomi wallet, the amount is not much as it's in Sats but I want to know if I can make transfer to any bitcoin address on Binance exchange for example, my BTC address is three in number, Default starts with bc1, compatible starts with 3C, legacy starts with 14, since Binance deposit address did not differentiate it like this does it mean I can send with no issue?

There should not be a problem. You can always do a test transfer with tiny amount to be a 100% sure (minimal deposit to binance is 1 sat), but I don't think that there will be any issue.
779  Local / Polski / Re: Binance nowy terms and conditions on: January 28, 2023, 08:20:55 AM

Jeśli chodzi o twoje obawy podglądania zawartości konta to przecież zawsze taką mieli.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moody’s Developing Rating System for Stablecoins on: January 27, 2023, 06:19:57 PM
Could this move rekindle interest in stablecoins?

There is a good move about how market works and how rating compaies did not worned us before GFC in 2008. In "Big Short" there is a memorable scene about how a person from an auditing company explains that he have to give A rating , in another case his client will go to another rating company to get it. The only difference is that someone else will earn for the service.

They are not comming here to help us. They came here because they see a product they can earn on which is "bribe for a good rating". Can't wait for 2030 huge crypto collapse after A+ rating stable coin going bust.
