Who was that that kept spamming to earn interest on that Celsius network?

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/r7py19/celsius_may_have_lost_900_btc_50_million_to_the/

Thanks for that. Interesting.

BTW, is it just me, or is reddit really so messed up and poorly designed for browsing posts? I just hate it every time I visit. I find it hard to navigate...

This is beautiful from every angle, at first you might think $1M looks like too optimistic or skeptical but more you focus on the graph more real it will look. Just we need to add one thing which is number of days on the inner circles. If price is increasing exponentially then number of days are also exponential. $100k is near and bitcoin will stay around 100$k for quite long time eventually reaching $1M, keeping in mind this halving will continue until around the year 2140.

I don't take this graph as a price prediction on certain date/month/year but Bitcoin price reaching $1M is fascinating. Which reminds me of Hal Finney's idea of Bitcoin price reaching $10M which has been discussed here million times.

Anyway let Hal Finney RIP and "Let's march to Q1'22!"

"I present the #Bitcoin Halving-Hype Cycle Spiral. Utilizing blocks measured in time and starting at the halving for being the cycle’s initiator due to its supply shock and hype, therefore preferable to the 4yr cycle.

Let's march to Q1'22!"

About 3.5 months ago I posted a comment here in WO, about the above type of graph. I find this type of polar graph very informative and containing lots of very useful information packed in a single image. The power of visualization! I'm including a summary of my conclusions here (and I'm glad they still hold true after 3.5 months):

  • The spiral step is roughly one order of magnitude (10x), meaning that there is roughly a 10x price increase between Halvings. This is equivalent to an average of 1.8x price increase per year.

  • The spiral circles never cross. This means that Bitcoin has always been profitable within any 4-year time period in its history.

tl;dr: HoDL.

What I do is just click "Quote", read the text in normal size and then click "Back" in browser.

No copy/paste needed.

RIPPLE CHAIR PROPOSES PLAN TO MOVE BITCOIN AWAY FROM PROOF-OF-WORK. $XRP $BTC #BTC

lol

I didn't know chairs could think, let alone propose Bitcoin code changes. Must be one of the the new AI models.

The question Meta really needs to address:

If 3 beautiful whores can barely keep me entertained in VR for more than 15 minutes why would I ever want to use that shit to watch Zuckerberg's face and his pathetic sidekick products and a bunch of garbage NFT asshole pieces of crap?

Are you talking about the Oculus Quest? I read somewhere that by purchasing it you're not actually buying anything, but rather, you're selling your body & soul to Zuckerberg. The thing costs more to make that what it's "selling" for -- guess what (who) the product is.

BTW, is VR pr0n nice? I've never had the experience...

Real hodlers don't care. Bitcoin taught me how to wait.

[...]

Exactly. Predictions are worthless anyway. 6-digit-stable price? OK, let's see... 2022 (mine)? Fine. 2025 (LFC's)? No prob. 2030? Hell, it's just 8 years away, no biggie (although too bearish IMHO).

There is only one prediction that matters. And it's not even a prediction, but a back-to-the-future, math&science-backed fact: $100k, $200k, $500k, $1M will happen well within most WOers' useful lifetimes (in the current decade is my guesstimate, buy what do I know?). And that's what matters. While in the rocket cruising, we'll be shaving off a few sats every now and then, to cover expenses, hookers, blow, etc., as needed and desired. The bulk of our stash still intact and growing. Win-win.

Chickens like mindrust don't have a place in that rocket. They never had. They were and still are daytarders/gamblers rolling a dice and hoping for a win. Guess what? A one-sided dice has not been invented yet, you fucks! Keep rolling and keep losing your coins. Real HoDLers don't play dice, they let time do the work for them while they sleep.

"It's going up forever, Laura!" Michael Saylor gets it. $57k was a bargain.

He was in crypto since 2017. The police is investigating. They managed to "freeze" part of the coins that were stolen.

I'd tell the boy: "I'll give my private key to the one that knocks out the rest of you!"
Hitting the back of the head of the exhausted "winner" with the baseball bat that is hidden under my bed should be easy.

Seriously: That's why i neither speak about corn in the public, nor reveal any of the "$5 wrench"-countermeasures i have already taken.

Some scammer woman phoned me some years ago and had my name and asked if I was interested in Bitcoin.

At times like these I just play dumb and said no I'm not interested in bits of coins. I don't collect coins. I did do stamps as a teenager but not any more, sorry. Bye. Click.

LOL, that's a smart reply.

Lately, many of my neighbors are asking me about cryptocurrencies. I had made the mistake of mentioning about Bitcoin to them, back in 2015-16, and now that prices have shot up, they changed from laughing, joking and making fun of me, to being serious and wanting to know more. I just tell them I had a boating accident, and kindly ask them to never again mention to me about Bitcoin, because it makes me depressed to be reminded of what I had and what I lost. Funny thing, they accept it, and I can see a hidden smile in their expressions, as if they are happy that I lost my corn. Envious bastards...

AFAIR, every image manipulation software i worked with (general reference is imagemagick, tho), uses bitmap representations of compressed image formats to apply manipulation to. This is the reason photoshop and the likes prompt you for setting compression parameters on save of destructively edited JPG files, which is any operation beyond cropping.

Right. But this is on the device, was my understanding?

I have to look into the details, but imo it should be. Likely it's processing (truncated?) RAW data directly. This is the way i would do it.
Offering an uncompressed output format is manufacturers choice. It's still a consumer drone.
But it's showing me an important point in choosing my next one.

You've probably already watched this video. I wasn't aware of Autel Robotics until Bob mentioned the Autel Evo 2 Pro, and I like what I see so far.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro VS Autel Evo 2 Pro Drone Review // This quality is INSANE

I had a similar experience, but after digging the web in regards of what the Autel does not do well, i found a nasty bug regarding focusing and also buggy software on smartphones.

Also, the Autel should be compared to the Mavic 3, because the cmos sensor of the mavic 2 is a quarter of the size of the Autel's sensor.
Needless to say, the image quality is beyond comparison. Furthermore, the Autel weighs a lot more. This is OK in countries where drones are not mainly regulated by weight/power.
My decision tends strongly toward the Mavic 3 now.
I had a look at the Autel and dismissed it some months ago. I didn't remember why, but it must have been the focusing problem(s).

EDIT: To be precise, i decided for both. Mavic 3 from the store (next year), Autel Evo II Pro (6K for 1" sensor size) used from aftermarkets some time later.

Thanks for the info. So, it seems DJI is still the king...

I've never owned a drone, but would like to own one some day. I've flown a Parrot and a friend's DJI Phantom 3. The Parrot was exciting, the DJI was simply awesome (to my inexperienced eyes). The thing is, I'm worried that the excitement will quickly fade away after a few flights. I think it's important to have a practical purpose to fly these things, and not just for fun. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I haven't bought one yet.

Yet another report from Kraken Intelligence:

Kraken Intelligence — Taking a Break

Shitcoin-sanitized overview:

  • Bitcoin prices retraced from all-time highs in November — an unexpected turn for what has historically been a positive-yielding month. Will the trend persist into 2022 or is there cause for concern?

  • Safe…For Now
Bitcoin’s retreat from $69K raised concerns of crypto entering a bear market. However, support was found at the key level of $54K, boosting optimism that the bull trend remains intact and the market dodged a large deleveraging event. While December averages a historical return of 13% for BTC, current price action is not trending like any other prior fourth quarter.

  • Whale Watching
The number of Bitcoin whales (wallets holding >₿1,000) grew slightly in November to reach a 2-month high. Yet, the total holdings in those same wallets dropped, an indication that profit-taking may have factored into the price drop.

  • Number Go Up
BTC technicals suggest that recent pullbacks are simply retesting levels of support, perhaps before a move higher.

Holy Cow.. you are correct.

There is a lot of shitcoin discussion in that report..so I merited you for saving us from the seeming shitcoin dominance of the overall report...

[...]

I won't hide it, I'm a fan of Kraken. I like it as an exchange, and I also like their reports. I like their writing style and approach to analysis. Very pragmatic. But Kraken is not a Bitcoin-only exchange (is there one?), so there's bound to be a good deal of shitcoin talk in their reports. Still, there's very useful Bitcoin-related info in them. I think it's worth taking a look.

Sorry, no drone pics of deep snowy winter today, shit my guts out last night.
Mood: Very much dark side.
Condition: Exhausted, dehydrated.
Actions: Cancelled all external activities for today.

Have a nice day, hope MF king daddy pumps today, after the european markets cleaned up their mess.

Get well soon man, hope whatever it is clears away in no time and you're out of memory again.

Things are really busy IRL for me, so I've got to skip long posts and resort to meme-type replies. I must have missed your drone post(s).

Speaking of drones, many thanks to Bob for mentioning the Autel Evo a few pages back, was not aware of it, had the impression DJI was still king, but it looks like there's a worthy competitor out there. Good for them, good for us.

Back on topic, let's hope King Daddy pumps much more than it dumped... Closing the year in 6 digits would be awesome. Not very likely, but you never know... King Daddy likes to surprise us.

Already going up again.

Turned my 100 Big Macs money into 102 Big Macs within a few hours.
That's better than losing 15 Big Macs per year if I'd kept the money in the bank.

 Cheesy

Seriously, I'm so hungry now, I could eat some of your Big Macs...

I will avoid it, in light of cAPSLOCK's good dietary advice, and will, instead, proceed to a nice BBQ (only meat, lemon, salt, pepper & herbs -- no carbs) at my COVID-19-recovered cousin's place tonight. I hope there's no virus there anymore, as I will not be using protection.

If feels so good to be a true HoDLer. Not affected by dippenings. Not at all.

Life's good. Enjoy every minute of it.

Between now and 1 year from now bitcoin will spend more time below $40k than above it. Write it down.

Nice safe pick.  Could be true.

Gives us moar time to accumulate fiat for some nice BTFDippenings before the new ATH and beyond.

No offense to Jay, but that line by vapourminer was a megaLOLer.

@serveria.com

Yeah... Moar pain... HoDLers are a weird kind. They are into S&M shit. The M part especially. They can't live without pain. So bring it on. And in Q1 2022 we switch to the S part...

-EDIT-  I see Torque already laid this out. Wink  I will say one other thing.  When I changed the content of my diet I did not have to even CARE about the amount.  I cuold eat like a horse and would still lose weight.

That's another clue.  If the system was purely energy in/out, then we would have skeletons and super fat people.  Because just eating an extra 100 calories a day that you do not need?  That will eventually make you morbidly obese... and same thing with a deficit.  The body would waste away with a -100 kCal deficit.  But our hormones and systems adjust and keep us in the "set weight" zone either way.  What MOVES the set weight are things that cause the body to produce insulin.

I like that explanation about diet. Very insightful. Thanks.

^^^ IMHO, the current bull run won't end until we go deep into 6-digit territory. I'm not even sure it has even started yet (Elon, ETF and all).

Take it as you will. I won't get into TA, because I can't do TA and I don't think TA can even be done by anyone. Cause and effect. Crystal balls haven't been invented yet. This is pure SOMA extrapolation / intuition.

And, no, I'm not saying it was aliens. But it was aliens.
