Much pumps.
Such boring.

Taking the 1 Bitcoin without any hesitation because i don't like having a fat ass lying in my bed every night.

Yeah, these asses are FAT. Almost artificially fat. Not even a sat for those. OK, maybe a tiny fraction of a BTC. But 1 BTC? They WISH!

Edit: Somehow they remind me of the Bogdanoff twins...

LFC Bitcoin Price IndicatorTM: $98* (96% gain)

I predict that a time will come, when I'll be able to use LFC's prize money to fly to the UK, spend a weekend with him in Liverpool (beers included), and fly back home. And that time may be sooner than we think.

Onwards & upwards.

HoDL.

In 2017, a couple of friends asked me how to get into crypto. I told them "not crypto, Bitcoin!" They said it was too expensive, and bought Ripple and Lumen instead. They pumped, my friends ended up with 10x their initial investment. I told them "sell them NOW and buy Bitcoin!" They didn't listen to me.

Yesterday, I was chatting with one of them, and casually mentioned that Bitcoin is pumping and we'll soon reach ATH and beyond. He was not so happy. He changed the subject...

(My pain and fatigue story)

i had no clue about all this. wishing you the best for your health.

Thanks, man  Smiley Appreciating it!
It all started after a viral infection which started out with very low fever but kept me busy about four weeks, followed by fatigue and muscle weakness.
Doctors said it's a burnout (i was a workaholic, but i didn't really suffer from it), so they reccomended b-vitamins, those made me get better to some degree, but some more health problems came up at the time, because i didn't address them before (sorry, i had to work  Grin)

FMS seems to "make whimps out of men", as some victims are describing it, and i can totally understand that point of view, but i got used to a lot of pain from skateboarding already, and i also wasn't the type that tends to give up on himself. Additionally, i was positive about whatever life was throwing at me, most of the time at least.

Taking an extra 250mg of Thiamine (five times the usual dose) resolved all this within a matter of three days.

Five? Are you sure about that? The US RDA for Thiamine is about 1.2mg/day.

Right. 50mg was my daily dose (added to 4mg from my daily b-vitamin pills), an absolute minimum to be able to cope with an ordinary day. It's a lot better in summer (an FMS fact, as i also found out lately).
Doing more physical work requires higher doses, if you don't want to get the pain and fatigue for days afterwards.
It's tricky, because as long as you are active, you don't get really exhausted, but after you stop and start to relax, the hammer comes and hits you.

Warning: Nohomo  is the least funny joke in the universe. It was that unfunny the first time and to this day. Everyone sprouting it over and over thinking its hilarious.

I wasn't aware of it as much as a joke, but more like a statement.

Just saw this, and your other post (too many beers...).

Thanks for sharing, all the very best! We all will have to deal with health issues at some point in our lives, and it is then when we realise how important our health is. Even 1,000,000 BTC is worthless to you if you can't enjoy it. That's why we have to seize the moment and enjoy our lives whenever we can, and not postpone things for "later"...

Posting from mobile, sorry if post doesn't look so good. With good friends, having a BBQ, drunk as hell, don't know what I'm typing... Hope auto correct works well...

Fuck COVID-19, fuck everything. Just enjoy life, we only live once, give love and enjoy. Bitcoin will take care of the rest.

Don't know where the price is. Don't care, coz I know it will be higher in the long run.

I love you all, WO has a special place in my heart, I'm pretty sure it's the beer talking, but it's what I really feel, so I love you all brothers and sister.

Take care all...........

Such wonder and awe,
The Wall Observer exerts,
To those who read it.

A magic shroom thread,
It's got everything covered,
To your heart's delight.

From the ancient Greeks,
And their beautiful sculptures,
To Nietzsche, and more...

Need a guide for drugs?
Wanna see Elvis again?
Instructions are here.

Left-wingers who swear,
Right-wingers who cannot spell,
Blame the cat for that!

It all seems so weird,
Alice In Wonderland stuff...
Down the hole we go!

These are the reasons,
My Ignore List is empty,
And always will be!

Breaking News; World’s second-biggest bank embraces bitcoin.

Quote
The second-biggest bank in the world is the latest institution to embrace bitcoin.

China Construction Bank (CCB) has announced that it is working with digital securities exchange Fusang to raise up to $3 billion through a publicly-listed debt security on a blockchain.

A special purpose vehicle has been established for the purpose of issuing the “Longbond.” Retail investors will be able to purchase digital tokens on the Fusang exchange using dollars or bitcoin, with investments of as little as $100, Finextra reports.

Further down they mention Bitcoin, but phrases like "a blockchain" make me feel a little wary...

Smart move of Bob, to sell at $16250. At least in the short term.

For us small fish, it's still HoDL mode, 'til next year at least, it seems.

Today was a good day Smiley

Rick is officially planning his exit/retirement tonight Smiley

Please let us know the form of Rick’s retirement announcement.

please do. will it be a "sod off" announcement and split immediately or will he give the traditional two weeks notice (or whatever). personally i gave a few weeks just to ensure a smooth transition to my replacement but not that management cared, they are work to rule (whatever its called). they can fire anyone for no reason and people can quit with no notice. im old school though so did the notice.

I've posted about this before, about "FUCK YOU!" slides in PowerPoint presentations, etc., but I'd never really do it IRL. It's just not me. I'd rarely say FUCK YOU to anyone (in real life or online). Not necessary. I would not drop to their level. If someone deserves to receive such words, I'd let my actions do the talking. As you say, I'd give a few weeks notice, so that the department can prepare and adjust. I'd also offer to help for a while, in case they need something that only I know how to do. Even training my successor, if necessary (with pay, on my terms).

I'd do a big party on my last day at work, all costs on me. The good guys will be happy for me, the haters will end up self-suffering because of their own hatred and envy. It's the universe's way of balancing things...

6 months after halving?

11/11

That's tomorrow!

Yes, 6 months after halving. Is it really tomorrow? What a coincidence!

As Bob says, my body is ready.

I think 2021 will be a milestone for many WOers. SOMA prediction: by the end of that year, many of us will have reached financial freedom (not necessarily "fuck you" rich status, but still completely free from wage slavery—which should be a big enough goal on its own for most). This will not mark the end of the journey, but, rather, its beginning. Unless we, ourselves end it, by selling all of our coins. This, IMHO, will be the biggest mistake a coiner can make, getting off the rocket that's just making a rest-stop at the moon. The next stop may take several years, and it won't be in our solar system, but I believe 2021 will mark the beginning of the "rewarding" phase in many HoDLers' lives. It all depends on corn amount, wants, needs, living expenses, etc., it's different for everybody, I'm just averaging out. Spending up to 10-20% on rewarding yourself with whatever pleasure you may seek (Lambos, hookers 'n' blow included, but not limited to), should be fine. Even up to 50% could be OK depending on what you want to do and if it involves family (spouse, children). But I wouldn't touch more than 50% of my stash. It's cold out there in outer space, and I don't want more than half of my body hanging out of that rocket...

Great times ahead. Our discussions, right here in WO, a year from now, will be very interesting indeed.

Onwards & upwards.

HoDL.

I remember I read somewhere (can't remember where), that each halving causes around 7x BTC/USD price increase, and that there is a delay of around 6 months before said rise starts. Math & science was supposedly used to arrive at these figures, but I can't be certain.

Either 7x or 16x is fine by me.  Cool

1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 09, 2020, 01:51:44 PM
AYH of 2016 = $978

AYH of 2020 = $15969

About 16x in 4 years.

By extrapolation, AYH of 2024 = $260,745. At least that much, as AYH of 2020 may should will rise.

Math & science = Bullish!

HoDL.

Sean, Roger, Daniel,
All worthy and capable,
To bear the Bond name.

But, once more, it seems,
Political correctness,
Rears its ugly head.

And here comes a chick,
British, but ain't got no dick,
Wanting to be Bond.

She says it's all good.
Equal opportunities.
Tell that to Fleming.

Wanna be called James?
Are you into sexy girls?
Used a gun before?

I will not accept,
A spy who won't wear a kilt,
And be a proud man.

So, steer clear of Bond.
Oh, and one more thing you bitch:
It's shaken, NOT stirred!

On the subject of Sean Connery/007, have you heard that the next James Bond will be a black woman, Lashana Lynch?
She sees it as "challenging stereotypes" and "is greatful to challenge these narratives". We are moving away from a poisoning masculinity, she says to Harper's Bazaar.

Don't they realize that James Bond is so popular because he is a stereotype?
Remove the stereotype and there is no James Bond. This is going to end up a disaster, go woke, go broke.

Oh no. Please. Don't do this!

How can "James" be a woman? At least make it a tranny, then maybe it'd be more believable

I wonder who (what) the "Bond girls" are going to be... LOL!
