Okay, was away for a little time and got work to do. Back, watch the price. Not 50k instead again down to 48k we had this game last week I think. Hopefully this asshole, who dumps everytime we came close to the 50k,went out of coins.. Or his fingers should fall of his hands... I am good with both events Cheesy

Are you fucking nuts, dieselmeister.  You continue posting about dumps for ants as if they matter for anyone who is not looking at 1 minute charts. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The last material and significant bitcoin dump that had any proximity to meaning was going from $42k t0 $30k-ish... and we stayed in a kind of uncertainty status for about 3 weeks, which such relatively short period of uncertainty even might end up placing that conceptualization of a "dump" in "ants" territory in the whole scheme of things.

Think about this matter a wee bit before getting all excited about whether we are breaking through $50k or not (and sure you continue to assert that some kind of major or meaningful "failure to break through $50k" exists.. which remains a premature proclamation and even a likely overexcited proclamation).   We have been pushing up and pushing up for 6 days and floating at the top of a BTC price range... which should not be characterized as a dump but an ongoing UPpity price pressures and ongoing consolidations at the top of a range $42k to $49,715.

I look a 1h charts Tongue

But am I now allowed to complain about the 8-9% dump that night? We saw what happened. 50k is near 50k is near... Btw we saw this also on the edge of 40k.same here. There is someone who has massive BTC and don't want the price move above the psycholical barriers.

Oh no... I am not allowed to say that here or what?
It was the same as I wrote this text, you complain about. It was the almost 10% that night.

But I am certain, that this Market is manipulated and this particular pool I often mention is one of them. I know it's no news. We all know BTC is a manipulated markted. But it's now so huge, that we only see currently dips in the 5% oder 10% range. And not 40% or more. Hopefully these massive coordinated dumps don't trigger so much Stopp loss orders any more.

That's my opinion. But I HODL so in the long run we win. But it's sad to see.

But I have to go to work and get some fiat money to buy more Bitcoins. So no Complaining about the price for approximate 8h... So long...

I don't know how long ago you started accumulating BTC, dieselmeister, but complaining about a 10% drop in Bitcoin price seems very newbie-behaviour to me. I've been accumulating BTC and following the price since 2015, and right now, even a 50% drop would not make me even blink, let alone worry. Why? Because I know that's how Bitcoin behaves short-term. 10% drops are just noise. Sit back Zoom out, relax, have a coffee, and enjoy your long-term near-certain gains.

In some sense, some of us likely feel bad for him (referring to Mindrust).. because it is difficult to know how to get such thoughts to stop..

it is a kind of post hoc rationalizing after having had sold too many coins too soon (referring to bitcoin).

If fuzzes up and fucks up the thinking of maybe even the smartest of peeps - kind of demonstrating that we don't want to end up going down that road, because it likely becomes almost impossible to come back.. including the thoughts that you always want to try to stay ahead of the game a bit - but continuing to be overinvested in BTC rather than underinvested, even if a large amount of suffering might have to take place during longer term BTC price corrections that do happen from time to time and we have no reason to believe that they are not going to happen in the future, even though some peeps talk about supercycles that are suggesting that such longer and deeper corrections might not happen from here on out (that is if we enter into a supercycle).

I think mindrust's current behaviour comes from the natural protective reaction of the human mind. It protects the human from going insane, by creating (and amplifying) reasons to justify one's wrong decisions. I wouldn't be surprised to see mindrust behaving 10x like r0ach, shilling PMs and supporting 5G/alien/COVID-19 conspiracy theories.

A wonderful morning to all WOers!

Just checked the price and observed the nice pump (and subsequent small pull back). This is the first time we've had a deep 40+k € action. Hopefully to stay.

A little more, and we'll be conquering $50k today.

Onwards & upwards!

HoDL.

Have fun staying poor, mindrust... At least your username checks out.

... and we are only at the very, very, VERY VERY beginning of it

I would love riding Bitcoin to mainstream together.

"We are here" alright, except the graph always rises, there's no peak and subsequent fall... Maybe take the integral of this, or something... and, can you imagine how much fiat the last 3 groups will have to pay to join in? This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that few understand and fewer will take...

As for the Pompliano tweet, it reminded me of that brrrrr video:

This Rubini guy is a professor, right? It just defies belief that he is frantically asking like a madman "What's the purpose of Bitcoin? Where does it help us?"... It's just mind boggling. Hasn't he even bothered to read the books by Antonopoulos and Ammous? I would understand if it was my grandma saying this nonsense, but him? A university professor and economist? Man, this is some crazy shit.

And that voice... LOL! Everyone in the studio was laughing!

Some audio-visual stimulation while we wait for 40k €:

Delerium - Flatlands

Clip is not official (it's taken from The Chemical Brothers), but matches the music perfectly. Holly Weston is a beauty.

Mine was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K. Made in the UK. Featured here in an earlier post. Still have it (complete with box, PSU and "Horizons" cassette tape). Still working (last time I checked, 30 years ago).

Mine was actually the '81. My dad convinced me I should trade it in for an Acorn Atom which was definitely a mistake. The Spectrum corrected that. I eventually sold and upgraded to a variety of them over the years but have since reacquired from boot sales. And now there's the Spectrum Next.

I gave mine as a present to my cousin, but after a few years I got it back as he was about to throw it away... It was working fine then, but I haven't powered it up since. We're talking 30 years ago... Thinking of re-capping the PSU and main board just to be on the safe side, but I also feel the urge to take the risk and power it up as-is.

Good times.

300 € left for a Euro ATH

500 € on Kraken currently.

Waiting for it too... Will it happen today? Possibly even 40k+ €.

Ah, those were the days... cassette tape i/o, command line UI, system RAM measured in kilobytes, saving up to buy a FDD controller and drive... but we felt so cutting edge at the time... kinda like Bitcoin a few years back.

My first computer ... Robotron KC 85/3 (Made in GDR)

This is GenX / Boomers material.

I remember 56k damn that thing was slow!

Not as slow as 300 baud.  Cool

Sparta grabbed the meme for $300. Will we post pictures of dial-up modems for $56k?

My first Model was a 28.8k High Speed Machine ...

Btw... Watch the movie hackers. They talk about super fast 28.8k Modems Cheesy

My first 300 baud modem didn't even connect automatically.

You had to listen for the modem at the other end and manually flip a switch.

I'll tell you what: whenever Elon wants to sell me a new car for 0.1 BTC, I'll buy it Smiley

I'll tell you what: whenever Elon wants to buy 0.1 BTC from me, I may consider a new Tesla car as payment. Smiley

Bored + night time + Bitcoin stuck at $47k (are we poor?)...

Sorry OOM, I just had to do this...!

None of them saw Bitcoin for what it really is: a revolution. They merely saw it as a means to splash out on Bentleys and holidays. Calling them amateurs is very generous...

HFSP indeed.
