not yet ;-)
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: April 19, 2016, 12:20:21 PM
Question remains:
Eth comes out with completly full decentralized app from beginning and full functionally smart contracts.
Lisk comes out with NO decentralized app. Maybe later......

So,this is enough for me to understand the differences.

Eth didn't release anything for half a year...

guys do you think that wednesday, when shapeshift will return online, there will be a dump?
just wait n see market, i hope a dump too   Grin

why should dump people more, if shapeshift is back? I don't find any reason...
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: April 19, 2016, 10:32:42 AM
Not entirely true. If waves decides to go to $25 i'd rather have 25k of them instead of 10k. Wink

What you say is like having a $20 bill in your hand and wishing it to be $100. Nothing prevents you from such a wish, though that would be economically insignificant.

you must be kidding. Isn't that reason why we invest?

Turning $20 bills into $100 bills? No. The number of the Waves tokens you have will not increase. Their value might increase, and that is the reason why most people invest. So, if we pursue the analogy further, you should wish to buy more things with your $20 instead of wishing it to become a $100 bill.

yea but at the moment we make a $20 out of a $100 and expect it to be able to increase in worth the same. With the same total amount and higher start marketcap. That can work but somewhen there will be a line, where it doesn't work any more.

806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Logarithmic (non-linear) regression - Bitcoin estimated value on: April 19, 2016, 08:53:03 AM
I have to ask again. Why do you think this kind of graph is fitting? Does it have any similarities to other commodities/currencies/assets?

For example gold long term, dow jones long term, any stock, nothing is fitting in there...

Quote from: Dr. Gabriele Widmann (Deka-Gruppe)
Also grundsätzlich, wenn wir über Geldsysteme reden, dann wissen wir alle: eine Geldwährung die gesteuert ist muss sich orientieren daran, was produziert wird, was an wertschöpfung passiert. [...]

TBH, Lisk sig campaign was fairer because early supporters get more stakes. I believed in this project since day one and some will join last few days  Undecided

whats wrong understandable in "distributed weekly"? Earlier adapters collect more stakes, so what are you talking about?
or did I understand something wrong?
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: April 17, 2016, 11:05:11 AM
There are plenty of space in the altcoins world.
Both project are positive and can precede the community interest.

There is plenty of space in the altcoin world
but
Not enough Bitcoins in my wallet to participate in all of them  Cheesy

True that! Smiley

I would call that "bad luck" ;-)

Wise and reasonable, nothing to say against.

As far as i could tell, it has always been a fanboy_girl war.

never bet on one horse only ;-)
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Ehereum - Can be bitcoin destroyed by creating false value ? on: April 17, 2016, 10:33:37 AM
Hi bitcoin community,

Please be strong! We are under test... the question is...

If technical way is not possible. Can be bitcoin destroyed by creating false value ?
And the tool used for answer is ethereum.

Ethereum - 1 billion market cap in some months of existence ? why ? becasuse it can ? NO! Everything have a reason.

Ethereum is innovative ? why ?
If everything is possible with bitcoin... bitcoin can have in future 1 seconds block generation, cutted database by saving actual chain state,
bitcoin can be PoS - if it will be better, bitcoin can implement smart contracts... etc

no i really don't understand who is now buying ethereum

Be strong and hold bitcion, which have 7 years distribution and real value, don't be confused from outside
Ethereum maybe will be pumped, but i am sure, that here will day if fall more than 100%

Love all, Be strong, we will win!

guy don't be afraid. There will be more than one winner here. Bitcoin won't die just because another coin is successful as well. There are different business cases for them. Bitcoin will probably always stay as acurrency. ETH for example is more an asset than a currency...

diversification is the key ;-)

People are still hyping waves in here? Oh dear  Grin

Too bad so sad for the people that got scammed / got sucked in by the fraudulent claims made about the Waves team members.

grow up and try to answer such kind of posts like waves does with lisk hyping ones...

...
We wish Lisk team all the best and hope to cooperate with them in future.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BITZ] Pure 10% PoS [On Bittrex, Bleutrade] + Cloud-Staking, nodes, explorers on: April 15, 2016, 11:41:47 PM
If you need support with donations - we can talk about everything.
But I don't see any reason for buying another coin of yours. I invested in one already.

We also lost someone who was working on BITZ. I am now working with another two and as I said we may come back to BITZ later.

If you want to switch, why didn't you offer a certain percentage of mojo for the bitz holders?
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: April 15, 2016, 11:19:20 PM
I guess its strategically better to wait until waves ico is over...

As we all know, BITZ is the smallest community in crypto. There are no posts in the thread, except to ask for a comment from the dev. There is very little trade. There is no interest in even donating a Satoshi for block explorers and nobody really cares. We made Mojo to be able to develop with some backing and funds. BITZ will have to manage by itself for a while and then we'll get back to it. The network is still running. I think some of the ideas we had for BITZ is being explored in MOJO and then it may find it's way back to BITZ. I don't know. Maybe we will use BITZ for some experiments, we'll see. BITZ is still here and we are still here but we are in a critical phase of MOJO right now.

You say, that there is less interest, but how can be, if there is no progress.
I see, that you made another coin, but honestly I don't understand it. Its hard to get a coin on bittrex, and its done already.
If you put the same amount of effort in bitz, there would be:
- same possibility for improvement
- more trade
- higher price
- as a result of higher price, funding of your bitz holdings

Is it too much to ask to have a few comments from time to time? What should the community talk about, if there is no news?
819  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: April 15, 2016, 05:06:47 PM

820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: April 15, 2016, 04:53:09 PM
The below are ROUGH estimates based on how much WAVES I have, divided by dollar spent.
35 WAVES / $1
350  / $10
3500 WAVES / $100
7, 350 WAVES / 0.5 BTC
14, 700 WAVES / 1 BTC

Thanks for your estimate, but ICO has only started 3 days ago and there is literally no way for us to accurately represent the actual worth of waves since there's so much time left until the end of ICO. We can only speculate. So far the only thing we can say for certain is that WAVES is going to be huge.  Smiley

I just don't know, whats the point to show it there, if it will be 1/4 at then end...
I somehow feel like its a trick to let people spend more. I don't like it... lisk did the same and that didn't feel better...

It felt way more professional with ethereum style selling, although its more or less the same shrinking percentage...
but you feel more safe like: I bought that amount and it stays that amount...
