821  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Nvidia + ATI? on: May 17, 2012, 11:02:06 AM
Quote

No, you can't.

This is because ATI computing goes through video driver. So Xorg must be loaded and running upon the ATI video driver. On the contrary, Nvidia computing doesn't need Xorg.

Damn it !!! So this means that you cannot use Nvidia for monitor / games / desktop usage while ATI is mining only ?

What about Intel integrated GPU in the CPU like Sandy Bridge ? What about ATI integrated graphics ( providing you stay in 8 GPU limit ) ?

Or maybe there is no way to have a crap GPU for desktop usage and all the rest powerful ATI cards mining Huh
822  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 4 x 7970 psu? on: May 17, 2012, 10:58:22 AM
Couple of questions :

-does the underclock memory trick work with 7970s in Linux without needing BIOS flashing ?

-can 4*7970s at full overclock be used with a PSU of 1200W without power problems ( cards overclocked high ) ?

Thanks !

And ... where are my 7990s Huh Looks like AMD has given up Cheesy
823  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Dead 7970 DD Fan Alternative on: May 17, 2012, 10:55:13 AM
I don't understand. Why not buy aftermarket cooler from Arctic Cooling Accelero Huh
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Magazine ~ The Online Version on: May 17, 2012, 10:53:32 AM
I did not get a mailed copy yet.  Went to Barnes and Noble.  Not there either.  So sad.

Well, at least you did get to see girls auditioning for the Bitcoin Magazine (US) Model Edition.

Indeed. I understand that Matthew has got the hots for young 'uns.

People saying BTC is used by pedos, terrorists, drugs smugglers were not that far from the truth, now where they Cheesy
825  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - DisContinued/ important announcement on: May 17, 2012, 10:46:25 AM
Good luck selling your FPGAs. It's what I have been saying ALL along but some of you don't listen.

Once the new generation like Lancelot comes out then your Icarus becomes useless but now since mining is profitable it is OK but good luck selling Cheesy
826  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: NamecoinGUI (with bitcoin support) - v0.5.0.18 on: May 17, 2012, 10:43:12 AM

828  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mini Rig announcement by Butterfly Labs - 25gh/s on: May 17, 2012, 10:41:32 AM
Yes.

Sorry, I should have removed your quote as I meant to direct it to Bulanula.

If they don't provide a bitstream for MicroCash then you won't be able to mine them smartass !

Also, good luck mining things like scrypt on these crappy FPGAs Cheesy

If FPGA is so great then why nobody use it to mine LTC yet Huh

Not really but I think he is now demanding like 30 BTC to get the scammer tag removed. Nice bit of cheating me.

Cry

Not really, thats a pretty fair late fee.

Yep. You also get the "Gigantic-Douchbag" fee. You need to apologize to everyone involved in this and kiss their asses.

Have fun paying all of that, Bula.

So now I have to pay 30 BTC + 1 BTC to everyone who posted here or what ... Embarrassed

In San Francisco, not signed into Google and cleared cache.

Microcash is a scam is ranked #1

For just plain ol' Microcash, it is number 5 and most of the front page results are ugly.

Funny to be the most vocal supporter of MC without a stake in its development, don't you think ...

I like your reverse pump and dump !

When I read this I thought : "more trolling, magazine has been out for ages now" but after reading a bit more into the situation ( and finding out nobody has a copy AGAIN ) I ate my mucus in laughter.

Y'all got played, sir !

Clap for MNW and his gang of hooligans.

837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dwolla changes TOS to prohibit Bitcoin transactions? on: May 16, 2012, 10:19:31 PM
The gov is very smart and since they are in a recession they are looking to save some dough.

Attack BTC not by technical means but by things like prohibiting Dwolla and Paxum transfers due to AML regulation.

Like Solidcoin 2.0 DejaVu....

As it turns out he never released the source code for Solicoin v2.0 which had a few of his dirty tricks in it. He eventually released a cleaned and revised v2.04.

No doubt he will do the same with Solidcoin 3.0 aka Microcash

~BCX~

It is illegal to pronounce that word anymore.

All references to SC are automatically adjusted to MC.

Just like the USSR and deleting photos of people when the regime does not favor them Smiley
