You know what I learnt today? Dejan Kulusevski is... Swedish!

I literally thought I was alone on this new knowledge, I had to doublecheck if it was the same Dejan Kulusevski, I don't know I didn't know for all this while, was this is first international cap ?

Rune managed to hold the 2nd set although that was actually pretty close. I really need Rune to win this round against Sinner otherwise Im going to lose another point because of this. 3rd set and Rune is catching up with Sinner. Anyway I just realized all games in Group A ended up with the 3rd set except for that one game from Sinner against Tsitsipas. I should have bet over 2.5 sets on all those games

It's 4 games apiece now in the 3rd set and pretty much anybody's game now more for Rune than it's for Sinner, because Sinner seem to be have some lower back issue during that second break and Holger Rune could take this advantage if he extends the rally much more to different part angle of the court with very low shots.

Jannik Sinner with a blistering first set of tennis, He's got it by a 6-2 score, going by the first set, this should be an easy wrap for the second set as well, and that would see Rune eliminated from the tournament, I can only hope Sinner doesn't get complacent just yet, the job is never over until it is over!

2-2 between Bulgaria and hungary which is a little surprising. Hungary scored an early goal and it looked like this would be an easy game for them. But Bulgaria managed to equalize but then Bulgaria got a red card and then Hungary should have no problem and win this match, but then they also get a red card and Bulgaria manages to score 2-1 before Hungary manages 2-2 in overtime. weird match 😂 and of course no points for me or mv1986😂

Do we have anyone that actually went for Bulgaria not to lose ? after that early goal from Hungary I just left the livesores app and felt that was a wrap already, little did I know that they were still much drama to unfold down the line. That result still, is of no relevance to me as opponent and myself have an aligned opinion on that match too. However, I'm keen on the Jannik Sinner vs Rune tennis game, it's starting in a few minutes, I'd be needing Jannik Sinner to win this game to have Rune eliminated, that would give me my very first advantage of my fixture.

Israel losing 1-0 so far, I actually wanted to go with them not scoring. However, statistically from all angles it averaged to 1 goal so I went with that option.
Funnily enough - other than cricket, that's the only answer me and my opponent have the same. Considering I fucked up with tennis, I like it better that way. More wiggle room to catch up.

Very lucky for you in the end, hopefully it will remains this way, Israel have just restored parity against Switzerland, It's 1 apiece and the game is into stoppage time already, Israel have played so well, and not getting at least one goal here would have seemed an unfair result, it doesn't change anything between my opponent and myself though, we both have Israel to score to no goal in the game.

-snip
I am not joking bro, you are rich and powerful coming from Division 1, and even poor Trofo has to win some matches this season  Grin

7 different answers between us ! and one of it would be on the tennis question with only Sinner being the difference between our question so I gotta need him to lose against Rune one the next one or Im losing point on this question ! Oh actually I would had Ronnie to defend the title if I didnt read anything about him withdrawing from the tournament so that would have been 8 different answers between us lol

First of all, I need Israel to score 1 goal tonight to get a lead Smiley

It's just 3 different answers between myself and my opponent, I can't categorically say I feel confident in the with the difference between our answers going my way, but the best edge I might have here is if Rune and Alcaraz don't make the semi-final and a Zverev and Sinner does, It's looking more likely for Sinner over Rude, but Zverev over Alcaraz is not guaranteed yet because, Alcaraz is currently 1 set ahead of Rublev and then 1 break up too in the second set, so it could be a 2-0 win for Alcaraz here.

Tsitsi also withdraw.... I love late submission

Well Tsitsipas has been very dissapointing over the course of BSFL tennis related question so I kinda doubt the majority of us would put him in as the answer

Tennis is a highly unpredictable sport, and that's why betting for handicap 1.5 is always the best market option on these men. Sinner is currently running Djokovic down from the left and right hahah I'm glad I chose Djokovic handicap 1.5 on my ticket since I'm fine with the second set win.

Djokovic didn't play bad to be very honest, Jannik Sinner was just extremely unstoppable he faced just few break points and was broken while on serve just once, while Djokovic lost the game in 3 set being broken while on serve just two times, in over 3 hours, man! That's just top level tennis bro, both players were serving at the best level you could ever expect that the topmost level of tennis, that was what we witnessed today, honestly! I'm glad I went with Jannik Sinner as one of the players to make the semi-finals, picking up a set against Rune should be enough to see him through, I suppose!

It's been a while I made it to the article and as such I could not have been more proud of my team especially since emphasis were made on how good my team was against buwaytress with that 7-2 arse whopping on his home ground  Grin

casperBGD, I'm coming for you next, beware! I just have an unfinished business with jeremypwr for now  Cheesy

Division 1
CasperBGD is now on top of Div 1 with one slender point lead in front of Harkorede and vd309. All three with the wins in this round but vd309 and Harkorede have put in extra good performance and provided 7 correct answers each which was more than enough to win duels comfortably. Team buwaytress started the season a bit slowly and just 2 correct answers in this round were well below their usual standards. Team slaman29 is rooted at the bottom of the table and will have to start winning soon in order to avoid relegation.

The phrase "self-proclaimed" hurt my reputation.  Huh

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any masseuse on the forum that could help massage your ego  Tongue

How is life in the championship league division 2? I can see that you're still unbeaten in the league after 4 matches, well that means you must be having fun down there, maybe you might want to stick around there for a little while longer to keep Trofo's company  Cheesy Cheesy

Omifikuse missing the round yet still winning the freebet? If there ever were a reason to enter your pick every time, late or not, this is it. Well done, winners!

I fail to understand that part of the rules; if submitting late disqualified all his picks what and why is he getting free bet over qualified candidates? He has no business with the past round honestly. Or am I missing something?
Of course you are missing something. buwaytress I can let slide, but you are self proclaimed sheriff and I expect more from you. Actual H2H duel was played in round 1 and Omifikuse was late submitting and lost that one and chance for free bet in that round. Later on we had to rework Div3B schedule which means Round 1 games got spread trough several rounds and this particular one ended in Round 4. Which meant Omifikuse  did not actually have a game in this round since he already lost that game, but he could play for free bet. He posted answers well on time for this one and earned a free bet.

Now this explanation makes perfect sense, I couldn't get a hang of it too at first, but I didn't bother much because Division 3 isn't anywhere near my jurisdiction, however, I knew the introduction of a new participant made the fixtures to be reschedule for the division, so I knew the statement of how he missed the round and won the freebet lies somewhere in between that new development.

@jeremypwr I hope you're fully prepared for the team flying without ings, because there is no stopping this team now  Wink

I've been working alongside Steve and Sportsbet for a while now and it's been an incredible journey witnessing this company grow firsthand.
One of my fondest memories is from four years ago when Sportsbet became the first Sportsbook in this space to sponsor a Premier League football club.
From there it only continues to get bigger and better; and I can't wait to see what the future has in store.

🥂

I can categorically say that I also have been a customer of Sportsbet.io for about 4-5 years now, and the progress have been next to none in the cryptocurrency gambling sphere, you all paved way for a much more social experience and exposure to cryptocurrency at large.

Jeremypwr and Steve are a really must have for any organization in whatsoever sector, from their professionalism and passion to extreme dedication to making the Sportsbook grow way beyond just this forum and made it a worldwide thing, and there is no even any form slowing down in sight in terms how progressive the platform gets as the years go by!

My fondest memory would be hitting a 1000x multiplier NBA parlay last season, however, that should have been subdued by the beers with Steve weekend offer, but I unfortunately missed out on it, due to circumstances beyond myself and Steve too (because he for sure did everything humanly possible to make it work our and also made up for it as well), Thank you Steve!  Cool

A big congratulations and to many more milestones ahead! 🥂

Another round with a few “strange” results, but I’m happy that at least for me there wasn’t a crash like in the last round  Grin
I'm happy for Bayer's record and amazed by Union, which finally dropped to last place. The distance to 14th place is only 3 points, but it is already difficult to believe that Union will get out of this situation. Fans of this club probably experience interesting feelings - playing in the Champions League and last place in the Bundesliga.

As for me, it was just another week to continue my slippery fall down the leaderboard  Sad

I really have lost my mojo for this pool too, I really need to find my form back, but I know what I need to do right to get back in contention, I've just been rather more of an unstable person and having one or two real life activities that's enormously time demanding have really shortened my time frame from prosper research and conclusive decision making to say the least  Roll Eyes I hope the international gives me a much needed time to find some clarity  Embarrassed

Before yesterday's game I felt great with the week - but then all hell broke loose and basically all City and Chelsea players that people are having scored a lot of points.
Chelsea might be recovering a bit - I will start looking at their team as well.

This GW will be hard (City vs Liverpool, Tottenham vs Villa), but after that my team will have its first big overhaul. I'm losing way too many points due to fantasy inexperience.

That was a very terrible game for calculative FPL managers because how do you have Haaland as captain against Chelsea, Cole Palmer and Jackson, all in that fixture alone and they yield massive points for their owners, I really don't think I can complain much though, 57-12 points for the week isn't something I can complain much though because at least I can say my team is in better shape going forward so those 12 points are sort of a Juice that is worth the squeeze for me.

So my team have got to play Buwaytress, jeremypwr, cryptofrka and casperBGD back to back to back without rest, I really don’t know who is in charge of the fixtures scheduling but every plan to have my team players worn out by these successive though fixtures will be thwarted by the management, as they’ve plan to bring in new reinforcements before the transfer windows finally shutdown.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 12, 2023, 12:31:05 AM
Okay, so for tomorrow's games, I'm eyeing two expected entertaining matchups.

1- Bucks vs. Magic: The Bucks might still be without Lillard, facing the home team Magic who are currently on a 2-game losing streak. The Bucks recently lost to the Pacers; will they bounce back with a win here? I'm leaning towards the Magic, but with points handicap +3.5.

2- Warriors vs. Cleveland: Curry and his teammates fell to Mitchell and company on November 3rd. Will they bounce back strong as they play at home? Well, I guess it's a no-brainer; taking the -3.5 Warriors is the easy call here.

I'll be tailing you on the Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers pick!

I didn't see magic pick earlier although, although, I might have hesitated a bit on that given how the Bucks played yesterday, but it looks like you made a very solid call with that pick as well too, Orlando Magic have played a solid game so far, and currently hold a 15 point lead at halftime so with a +3.5 advantage for them, your bet looks like good one to go unless there is some drastic change in momentum, like a couple fouls and Ts have already been issued to some players from the Magics, Banchero and Anthony Black, so emotions could be flying around like it was towards the end of the half.

Fun fact: seems like Guirassy has a release clause of about 15M, don't think Stuttgart will have him after winter transfer window.
You plan to buy him for your team in hopes of having better results?
I think you need to hire more good players after bad performance you and your mafia buddy showed in this round.
Better mentally prepare for Division 3 and dont waste money on expensive players  Grin

Chelsea might have already paid the release clause, or they could as early as January, all Guirassy just need to be available for is a 8 years contract, because as far as Chelsea is concerned, they will pay for anything available or partially available in the transfer market and with the need for a proper centre forward backup or competitiveness within the team. Except of course, if the information hasn’t not reached Todd Boehly  Grin

It seems to have been a defense game for Arsenal today, with Saliba and Zinchenko on the score sheet. Saka don’t seem yo be so phenomenal no more to produce great quality and needed goals. His unfitness and how the game seems to revolve around him makes it really difficult to get points.

It's just a matter of time before he gets out of a lot of teams, multiple options are becoming available yet again, choices like Eberechi Eze and Micheal Oliseh are back for Crystal Palace, and they were quite a dependable options when fully fit.

White with a knock today, I did not even know about that one.
So, my defence is White, Estupinan, Stones (all injured), Tsimikas (probably won't start) and Coufal. Brilliant.

At least Saka played - but looks like a terrible round in the making for me.

I can't remember what a really good game week looks like again to be very honest, it's been a very long while for me, Lol!

Serhou Guirassy with the heart breaking goal for those of us that either went with Dortmund or Draw, in the Dortmund vs Stuttgart match, and there could have been a better time to score the winning goal than less than 10 minutes left to for in the game.

This is a one-leg game, and you're telling me you're trying to develop chemistry so you can play back when? Season four? This season, Division 2 is garnering more attention than Division 1.

I must have a sidebet somewhere... just can't remember it haha. Was it with you, Harko?

Age and the rums must be catching up with ya, ain't they ? Our side bet was for last season when your kicked me in the arse twice, but my first shot at revenge and there wasn't anything on the side at stake, but that's fine, I wouldn't say that had anything to do with the entire division 1 schedule not being released on a timely manner as usual, but there is still the league cup, and hopefully we'll get any of the rivalry fixture come along yet again.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 11, 2023, 02:56:23 PM
My team really looks like shit for this GW.

Maddison, Estupinan and Stones injured, Saka doubtful for the game. Tsimikas doubtful to start.
It's possible I'll play with 9 players, from which one will be Semenyo.

I have some construction going on in my apartment and no option to sit down in peace and use a wildcard. Should have done it ages ago though.
I think the issue with Saka isn’t one that would leave him on the bench, he will very much be featured on the pitch although, Maddison seems to be the bane of most of us. Didn’t keep track on him until it was late past the limited time for transfer. I’m just hoping one of my benched players like Kabore or Edouard gets good points to substitute for Maddison.

I rally should have brought Mbeuno in, would be looking forward to that possibility in GM13 and the chances of getting Haaland back on my squad. Last GW11 was so out of expectation.

I hope it doesn't end up like the last time, where he had to miss more matches due to that, he's already made the line up though, I presume it was just a minor issue and FPL injuries notification (the yellow one) is just misleading as it often is the case.

I really hope Rasmus Hojlund can replicate the form he display in the UCL during the midweek.

EDIT:
It just wasn't meant to be for Hojlund, was it ? I mean he had quite an amount of decent chances, and he took some of them really the best way any striker possibly could but Kaminsky was just never going to let it slide.

I've got;

1. Mikael Bridges Over 24.5 points @ 1.86 Odds ❌

2. Dorian Finney Smith Over 5.5 Rebounds @ 1.76 Odds ❌

3. Kristaps Porzingis Over 1.5 Blocks @ 2.45 Odds ❌

Awful night for me, I went 0/3

Quite an abysmal display from Brooklyn Nets, they couldn't live up to my expectations of them at all, especially Mikael Bridges who I expected to take the biggest responsibility from the absence of Cam Thomas.

LeBron came through with a really efficient game to outplay Durant in my opinion and get the Lakers a win. I wasn’t expecting that, but am glad to see that the Lakers are capable of playing good basketball. LeBron also became the only player in NBA history with 5,000 turnovers.

Lakers have got themselves quite a really good squad depth, and being able to have players like Rui Hachimura, Taurean Prince, Cam Reddish and Austin Reaves as part of their role players is of great value while the likes of Gabe Vincent and Jarred Vanderbilt out injured the team still proved to be very competitive, at full strength, they'll surelly be one of the teams to beat in the league.
