where is my profit?

It's gone to the gamblers that are beating up the site.

You only make a profit if the site does.
822  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 17, 2016, 04:21:48 AM
so is this over now?
I just got home from the movies and forgot to place another bid, although I wouldn't have hit the silver spot price.

To answer your question, yes, it appears so.

No one actually outbid me indicating a quantity and price.

I am still interested and willing to negotiate, but not publicly.

PMs.

I am also very keen to invest in moneypot but I see the feedback from users that they are getting a loss of 1% ~ of investment for 1 week. how opinions. Investors from here ?

Feedback and stats are two diff things.

Feedback wise, MP is doing very well.  They respond quickly and no real complaints.
Stats wise, MP is not doing very well right now.  They are on a three month slump and this can be seen by the links provided earlier in the thread (several times).  So, no secrets to make up or cover up.  It's open and I don't know of other casinos doing this.  Of course I haven't looked as I don't gamble and am not an investor.
- No casino wins all the time.
824  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 16, 2016, 11:54:33 PM
@Michail1, if you want to purchase them as you mentioned and can possibly meet the OP's required amount or work something out with him, I can also take care of picking it up for you the group or whatever, I am not sure where you live, but if you are coming into any of the NY airports, I can pick you up as well, just let me know.

thanks!

I am in Seattle.

I would fly in because I would pay with a bank dollar transfer on the spot with the OP.  It's best if the OP would pick me up since we would have to go to his bank anyway for the transfer.
Paying in bitcoin is something I wouldn't do since I don't want to give up bitcoin which I would have to repurchase. Since Gemini isn't authorized in Washington, the only real option is Coinbase (which I fucking hate - another story and I have posted clear reasons before).

If someone wants to sell me Bitcoin at a discount (for bank money), I could apply that discount to raising my offer for the silver.  Unfortunately, I would not be willing to meet anyone while in NY for a sale.

I will up my offer soon before the 'auction' ends.  Actually, I might have to leave shortly for a while.  Might miss the end.

couldn't post since another post before I hit send:
geoffreyqp "i live near you, and if you do this i will take 100(5 tubes) of the coins at that price." - geoff lives near me in Seattle.

Also, no one specified an amount.  Maybe they mean silver spot at time of auctions end?
825  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 16, 2016, 09:40:50 PM
so, any update on the status here?

says will end tonight at 9pm CST.

At this point, I am the only one to publicly make an offer for the full quantity.
Others have mentioned they wanted a small quantity, but not made an offer.

Looks like sniping.

826  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 14, 2016, 03:57:12 PM
make me an offer i cannot refuse and ill take the whole lot.

Heh.

Basically, you just need to make an offer for an amount he wants or higher.
I just threw in an offer below what he wants to take into consideration as I said I would take the entire lot.

At least making an offer starts the line of communication and/or to show interest.

Dogedigital - since you're close to the area, it's possible a single purchase group buy is feasible with you picking up the lot.
- You will not pay anything in taxes in the USA since they are being sold in New York (there isn't even the question of the sub $1k tax); however, duties to bring them to Canada would be up to customs.  A coin or two if fine, but they might notice/charge for 200 troy pounds.

And, if I purchase the entire lot, then I would have no problem selling off up to 25% of them at quantities of 20 (maybe less) at the price I paid (plus actual shipping).  (Giving others the ability to still get them; however, in this case, I would want payment in BTC to avoid issues like paypal scams).

I am still interested and will watch the thread.  Smiley

If I buy, would you mind picking me up from the airport?
827  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: October 14, 2016, 03:32:35 PM
CONGRATUALTIONS to @sogerns who hit the 6.4 BTC Jackpot with 80 SATOSHI

Congrats
828  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 12, 2016, 01:59:01 AM
I understand you're looking at a minimum bid at spot; however, I would like to add something just to sub to the thread.

I would be happy to make an offer. Since your example is in dollar, my offer is:

2400 @ 14.50 = $34,800
I understand that I would pay for shipping.  200 troy pounds shipment with insurance is an expensive.

Of course you want more and should probably get it; however, it's my offer to get some more clarification in the thread.
Who minted the coins and/or any paperwork on the weight and silver content?

Where are you located? (More specifically where would they ship from?)

If close to me, we can walk into the bank together and transfer funds instead of escrow.
Basically, you should give a little more info as to if you're only accepting dollars (cash or bank money) or bitcoin, etc.
If you're close to me, I would raise my offer since shipping wouldn't be a problem.

Last thing.  The original post says 2500 coins, but the example is 2400.
Does this mean you're accepting offers of various quantities?  If so, many will want to know the minimum they can purchase.

That is true but so far MP has been doing a good job, just that recently the profit has been in the red for weeks or even months. Quite strange about this. I know there is up and down but did MP investigate if this is the normal or a loophole is found?

I am sure they are looking at everything.  Especially after a 2.5 month net loss to investors. Odds are they will come back up.
Also, there is more than just the owners looking into it.  Meaning, people are tracking the wallets to see if anything is going strange.  (example: people tracking the 32BTC transfers).
I have to admit, I would love to know if a loophole is found or a reason why the last two months has not been lucky for investors.  Sad

I have no investment in MP, but it might be time to put coins in seeing the profit going up.

Just to clear something up.  People are confusing the bankroll with investor profit.

The bankroll goes up and down.  Lately only down as investors have pulled funds.  It's gone from over 1500 to the current 1100.  This is NOT a loss of 400 coins.  Just simply loss and investors pulling their coins and/or simply divesting.

Investor profit is the gauge of profit/loss.
1 month  374.70 to the current 362.60 is a net loss of 11.9BTC.  Not good, but obviously not terrible and no where near the 400BTC loss once thought.
2 month  390.30 to the current 362.60 is a net loss of 27.9BTC.  Same thing
So, 2.5 months loss, but nothing even close to the amount of profit over the last year.

I want to invest, will I get scammed as usual given the nature of cryptocurrencies or what?
Any advice guys?

I wanted to invest with doge but seems only possible to deposit bitcoin.

Odds are that you will not be scammed.
If anything, you should worry about a hack in which coins are lost.  Anything is possible.

Just like gambling in a casino, you could win or lose.  With a real casino (or gambling), you know the results instantly and go away.  With investing, the shorter you have the money in the less likely you will lose it, but also the less you will make or lose.  You expose your money (coin) the longer you have it in.
Advice?  Don't invest more than you're willing to lose through natural losses or hack/scam.

Easy to invest Doge.  Just convert it to BTC first.  Then, after you make (or lose) coins, convert back to Doge.

Hate to bring up an old thread; however, I feel the need to ask...

How many of the Silver version (pre-production) of the Gold coin were made?  (Originally shown on page 5)

And, how many made it to the public?
833  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: September 02, 2016, 02:00:49 PM
Returns shown below assume you did not divest during the week

Actually assumes no change in investment (invest or divest).  "Which is difficult since many people make changes likely to add more funds or temporary divest in order to gamble, etc."

Question:
Do you have the same stats to go back further?  Example: to the beginning?
834  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: August 26, 2016, 03:07:18 AM
I still can't believe how many of these babies are crying about the TX fee.

These are the type of people that KNOW what the fee is and bitch about it afterwards.  If you don't like that fee, then don't withdraw or even deposit to begin with.  How on Earth can you be crying about 11cents.  If you're really that poor, then you shouldn't be gambling or investing in a gambling site to begin with.  Get over it.  Stop being pussies about spending 11cent.

For the prior people that have complained, please give me your bitcoin address and I will personally cover your 'losses' in tx fees.  (Note:  I don't even own any part of the site.)  OMG, these whiny children are amazing.

Also, for any of you kids that complain to any television station about having to pay Shipping/Handling fees on items you purchased (knowing full well what the cost was when you bought it) and find out the actual shipping was far less than you paid, I will double all your tx fee losses.

I just hope I can afford all that bitcoin.

(yes, give me a list of your txs so that the fees can be calculated)
835  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: August 24, 2016, 03:46:53 PM
On what casino did these recent drops happen, or who is winning this big?

as far as I know it was on BB like the one bet from institution. but why does it matter where or why. players are also winning and not always losing Smiley
Yes offcourse, just basic intrest i gues,
i just like to see how People bet, and this one is interesting because it's the second day that the bankroll Drops 10btc

it could drop much more Smiley in gambling everything is possible so let players also win and have fun
Everything can happen, but the bankroll allready dropped More then 20% so rather not for the time Being  Grin

Well, MP is currently a Gamblers delight.
I believe you mean the profits has dropped more than 20% instead of the bankroll. (Which is actually worse.)

Pointed out earlier was the website to see stats:
http://eeeth.com/mpstats/
Peak profit was on July 17th with 433+ BTC
Currently it is at 343+ BTC

So, yes, the profits have dropped more than 20% in the last 6 weeks (90BTC loss in profits).
This makes 'investors' very uneasy while making gamblers happy as all get.
(Site losing nearly an average of 2BTC daily).

Time to start gambling!  Smiley
836  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: August 23, 2016, 04:16:06 PM

My point is that if I paid 200 or 300 as a tx fee on mp, mp should spend how much I paid as the fee on site, no more or no less
567152795b5c272c69085af70d2f2363c94bb26108247bda90e57d41f9e5f091
317158003ac0d68385056cefb34912338233c0bb7376340bb41e68674ec428ac

And when I pay $9.95 for shipping and handling on a $20 ceramic knife, companies 'should' spend it all on postage?
(I know the knife is going to cost me $29.95 and I am not going to complain about the shipping costs after I get it as I know the costs up front.)

Fees in bitcoin are not an exact amount.  It's a formula which is calculated based on the inputs being used to send you coin.
If they spend .0001632 for your TX (a calculated amount), it will make NO difference in time if they spend .0002000

Just like paying $6.80 to mail a package will not be any faster or slower than spending $7.00 on that same parcel.
837  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: August 23, 2016, 03:40:31 PM

like i said in my post, its not about the money. I want my confirmations asap and it wont be any faster if mp is paying less than what i actually paid for

No one can help you if you don't provide any examples.  Simply complaining you didn't get your funds within 10 mins isn't enough.   Show people what you mean with sample transactions.

And, even with examples, paying a transaction fee (low or high) doesn't guarantee it will be included in the following block.

Take a look at:
https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

Currently 4500 unconfirmation TXs (which is very low by today's standards).  Since a block only has about 2000 txs in it, even if you pay more than simply the lowest, it could take several blocks to get a confirmation.

I don't believe people complained when MP was charging LESS than the actual TX fee.  Personally, I think they should charge 5 or 10 times the TX fee to stop users using the site as a Mixer and then complaining about the time it takes to get their funds back.  (NOT saying you're doing this.)

Last note:  You said you want confirmations faster.  Well, MP has nothing to do with this.  You could pay 20Bitcoin as a TX fee, and confirmations past the first one is not made any slower or faster based on what you paid.

I have seen this post a while ago and have been visiting it for a few time. I just want to say that thanks for this daily profit counters to let me have a better understanding on how MP is performing. This matters a lot to me. Thanks.

It's a great site.  Unfortuantely, it shows that MP is currently performing poorly.  That's the way gambling goes.  Hopefully to turn around soon.  It's basically a gambler dream right now.

Yo Moneypot how come that the transactions I send from my MP balance never uses the full 200 or 300 bits I pay?
I know its nothing much its slowing down my transactions and using less than what i actually paid for. Fix the problem or return the bits >.>

Is it 200 or 300 that you're paying.  Posts have more impact when you complain using real numbers.
I will clarify it for you....
200 is the default.
300 is the priority. (You have to select this).

200 bits (20000 satoshis)  = .0002 bitcoin.

Standard fee (bitcoin core) is 50,000 satoshis = .0005 bitcoin

If you run the default fee against the current USD value, that amounts to $0.11
Is your complaint really over 11 cent of which they might get a full penny from (not considering the time/hassle/security it takes to process the transaction)?
