821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why wouldn't you invest on ripple? on: July 06, 2018, 09:21:51 AM
it is not just Ripple but all the altcoins:
investing in them can be good and bad at the same time. you should only master the market to know when to go in and when to get the hell out of them. so for example at some point when XRP was getting pumped it was the best investment but when its pump ended and the dumping began it became the worst one and you should have stayed away from it until the dumping is over which is not yet done.
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy on: July 06, 2018, 09:10:54 AM
I see here there is an attempt to increase investor confidence to bitcoin so that bitcoin prices go up.

to be fair if someone is naive enough to be influenced by a topic on bitcointalk and make decisions based on them then they shouldn't even be investing in anything, not just bitcoin!
it doesn't really matter if it is a positive topic encouraging investment or some negative one discouraging... you should only make your own decisions and have your own analysis. and if you can't then maybe putting your money in a bank or under your mattress is a better choice for you.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTH??? Is big bitcoin holders panicking?? on: July 06, 2018, 09:02:44 AM
you don't have to even think about it to know how wrong this is!

you just have to take a look at bitcoin price for the past 2 weeks and see how it has been rising slowly but with a big strength ever since it hit the bottom and all the dumps could not break that level because there has been a lot of huge buys happening at that price.
824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Multiple choice. Select the letter that corresponds to your answer. on: July 06, 2018, 08:56:30 AM
What do you think will happen to crypto market price?

what others say they think shouldn't really be of any importance to you specially when money is involved.  history has proven that most people will only give you answers they wish to happen not the things they think will happen.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will other coin beat btc in future ??? on: July 06, 2018, 08:50:21 AM
no shitcoins can not do that

you an continue bag holding these shitcoins and continue losing more money just because a pumper who dumped on your head told you it is a good buy Cheesy
826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy on: July 05, 2018, 09:37:20 AM
whenever you want to buy bitcoin you consider two things, the potential of rise and the potential of drop. bitcoin obviously have the potential of rise in the long term and for years you can buy it without losing any money in the long run.
but the drops in short term are inevitable. right now i'd say price is dropped drastically and has even reached -71% of the ATH so there isn't much room left to go down.

considering $6k has held up quite nicely you can easily see there is only one way to go and that's up.
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: 8 of the richest btc addresses logged in at the same time on: July 05, 2018, 09:22:37 AM
now that price has started rising back up again and many have been left behind, they cling to literary anything to create a dumb FUD out of.

Yup, +1 on this.
While the OP admitted he was wrong, he still didn't correct the initial post to reflect the reality.

i obviously don't know OP's intentions but there are at least a dozen topics like this talking about how "big amounts" are being sold. the funny part is that they all call it "dump" or "sell", etc. none of them seem to even assume that someone bought that much and is receiving for instance 50,000BTC!
look at the first reply by First77, he is the biggest of them. if he spent 1/100 of the time he is wasting on bullshits on bitcointalk he would been a millionaire by now Cheesy but he is just some butthurt who shorted bitcoin when it was rising and lost a lot of money.
828  Economy / Speculation / Re: 8 of the richest btc addresses logged in at the same time on: July 05, 2018, 09:09:33 AM
I am still in bemusement as to why it should even draw our attention in the first place that a particular address suddenly becomes active.

it has either one of the following 2 reasons:
1. there are many people who never look at the blockchain and never seen other transactions, their size and amount transferred every day. for example did you know that about 1-4 billion dollar is being transferred through bitcoin every day?

2. it is about price. now that price has started rising back up again and many have been left behind, they cling to literary anything to create a dumb FUD out of.
829  Economy / Speculation / Re: 8 of the richest btc addresses logged in at the same time on: July 05, 2018, 08:54:07 AM
first of all "logged in"? are you kidding me. do you know what bitcoin is? if not please go read a little about it and educate yourself.

second of all big transactions are happening every day. real large transactions like 10kBTC are common every week. bigger than that is also happening at least twice a month.

finally where did you even get the idea that these addresses were accessed recently? i don't see any outgoing transactions in any of them that belong to 2018 let alone be recent!!! (i only checked half the list, i won't waste my time anymore)
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Watch only btc address issue with private keys on: July 05, 2018, 08:49:41 AM
im told that any btc address starting with 3 is near impossible to

if any address starting with 1, 3, bc1 or any other format in the future is created using a good wallet then it is impossible to get its private key. that is the security of bitcoin that you are talking about!

how did you get those addresses? are they some address you found on the internet or did you generate them with some bitcoin wallet? if yes which wallet?
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Cardano one day charts look suspicious! on: July 04, 2018, 09:59:36 AM
all i see is another normal situation with another altcoin which was being pumped and dumped. right now there is nothing going on except for a tiny pump that increased the price a tiny bit and that was the small volume rise that you saw.

Cardano has never gone up and down one cent like that in the past!

it is going up and down a lot every day. and specially 6-7 months ago when it was pumped from $0.1 to $1.0 and then dumped back down to $0.1
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price jump - Is this a bullish sign? on: July 04, 2018, 09:52:01 AM
the important thing to me is that price is staying above $6k so you can take that as a sign of a bullish trend to come in the near future. we may end up seeing another desperate attempt to push the price down below that strong support but after its failure (which is the most possible outcome) we will see a rise take place as the money gains  the confidence back and comes in.
833  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you trust your Bitcoin exchange? on: July 04, 2018, 09:36:14 AM
I have been using Lykke exchanger for about a year (by the way, at the very beginning, when it appeared, it was without a fee), as well as a bot in the telegram. All happy, everything is clear, the not yet seen.

one of the serious problems with exchanges is that they are all good and trusted for a while then they someday scam you and run away. for example a couple of years ago we were all happily using Cryptsy and we never had any problems. the fees were good, the rates and volume and everything. they someday they scammed us and ran away just like that.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korean Government Formally Proposes Lifting the ICO Ban on: July 04, 2018, 09:21:51 AM
Suppose a car is manufactured with all it's features except the breaks.  Many people will still be saves provided they do not find any traffic in their way.  Or  in other words they are so lucky that they are still safe and reach their destination.
In the same way I think without some regulations; scammers will always be able to cheat others.  There should be some one who is keeping eye on their activities.  Though their powers should be limited.  With unlimited or more powers they may become dictators.
Rules and regulations need to be formed at international levels because ICOs have international reach.  World Bank may be the rule maker in this case.  Or any other new regulatory agency may be formed under whose guidance all the countries are working in this field.
Crypto currency is the currency for the future; so entire world should help develop it and remove hurdles from it's way.

we don't need regulations to prevent scams. this is a decentralized world with decentralized rules and we as a part of this decentralized system, should be able to prevent scams from happening by having more educated people who use their brains instead of their greedy emotions.

but when that clearly doesn't happen and we still have idiot newbies who continue to give away their money to ICO scammers then we need some external force to come in and clean it up for us. which is sad to be honest because it shows how the altcoin market has failed.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe BTC wont last because NO ONE really profits from it... on: July 04, 2018, 09:16:13 AM
your problem is that you think bitcoin was created so that you can make money/profit from it which is why you think if there is no profit in bitcoin or there is more profit in an altcoin bitcoin will die!

but that is wrong. bitcoin is created to be a decentralized currency and when it does that it stays alive and strong. and the fact that it is rising and giving you "profit" is because it is a currency and majority of its adoption is because of that.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Steemit? How much do you earn on Steemit? on: June 30, 2018, 09:34:39 AM
Steemit was only good for earning in its early days where they were practically giving away a lot of money. but ever since everyone found out about it and started spamming there the earning potential dropped drastically. and also with the spam the quality of the forum dropped. for example now if i see an article on medium or steemit i will read the one on medium because i know for a fact that someone spammed in steemit to get paid.
also the price of altcoins including steem is dropping hard so your earning is decreasing that way also.
837  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC under 6k? on: June 30, 2018, 09:25:27 AM
I don't understand why everyone goes into a panic whenever BTC goes down?

most of the things you read on bitcointalk is not "panic" it is instead people FUDing to pretend there is panic and create panic in others while they buy...

Do you guys think there is a correlation between the sudden pump above $6K and the miners? Since some people claim that bitcoin at this moment costs $6k to produce. Therefore miners could be pumping up the price to be in profit again.

there may be a correlation but not the way you said it. miners didn't pump anything. it is all about what people were expecting to happen.
for example as you said people expected the "mining cost" to be X and expected it not to go lower than that X, so when it went below that price, it acted as a buy signal for them so they started buying effectively increasing the price back up.
838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is falling. So what? on: June 30, 2018, 09:18:47 AM
usually those who actually panic during the price rise/drops are those who are brand new to investment (not just investing in bitcoin but in general). they see rises and falls and they can't understand what is going on so they panic and eventually they come up with the idea that trading is like gambling!!!

the funny thing is, this is bitcoin we are talking about. even if you make the mistake of buying at the peak of the bubble you still are going to make a huge profit in the long run. like buying at last bubble peak ($1200) and having it now!
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin will drop to $1000 and why we should be happy about it. on: June 30, 2018, 09:02:33 AM
it doesn't matter how long a comment you make and how many reasons you bring, certain prices are simply impossible under normal circumstances. and you bringing reasons after reasons is jut showing that you don't know how the bitcoin market works and you are trying to convince yourself that it can happen.

you first come up with the price then try to think of reasons for it.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH for the win? on: June 29, 2018, 09:20:27 AM
ETH is falling hard. it is currently $416 and the ETH/BTC pair is also not performing well at 0.0703BTC, this is officially a mass panic sell where even the bag holders are starting to dump their ETH.

this is a good news though because that means ETH is having its bubble burst and it is going down to its real price. we all want profit but before we can make profit price has to go do the bottom. which i think for ETH is  about $50 with the current supply.
