841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Crash on: October 23, 2018, 05:10:00 AM
Manipulators are manipulating the market, creating panic in investors/traders, big institutions are waiting to invest, do not give up your coins, hold it, market will be back to track in coming months, banks are doing everything to make this market dead but common people are not understanding the power of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, bull run will resume shortly.
The idea of manipulators in the market is apparently not to scare everyone, but just the weak hands and as long as there will always be weak hands in the market as the market is highly speculative, then, that in its own is a huge problem I must say as manipulators will keep seeing it as a chance when it comes to making a lot of money off the weak ones, so it is left for you as an individual if you want to be in the category of weaklings or not. If you do not want to be in such category, then the best bet is to stop assuming crashes that are not even there and focus on the future.

We know that the market is suffering from big corrections but it doesn’t mean that it is going to crash. In the near future we will see big growth again not like the previous one but with according to the market capital.
You are not the just first one to expect another big growth in near future whereas another big growth is an assured one but may not be in near future. We must give it enough time to consolidate to have another big rally. Markets are known for ups and downs hence, we must take these crash too as part of markets and should not as a big thing.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market manipulation on: October 22, 2018, 07:15:08 PM
This market is full of dangerous and manipulative organizations that are very much in the Crypto market. There is some information that these organizations will pay more attention to Margin games. If there is a large amount of bets, they will be willing to manipulate the market in a certain time to get great profits. In my country there was a loser at $ 2 million Margin and he committed suicide. This market is so hard!
Manipulation is not the only reason the price is low and the price manipulation on the market is definetly not the only reason why we are not moving upwards. Manipulation can be done in any shape and form and buying/selling to change the price is definetly not the only way. I believe that the news and the media has been highly manipulated towards the rich just like fiat because it is the easiest way to shape peoples minds.

If you keep writing how ethereum is going to be amazing than eventually you will get enough people to believe you and it will skyrocket, if you write enough times that x coin is not delivering on the promises and is a scam coin enough people will eventually believe you and leave that coin. The blogs, this forum, reddit, cointelegraph, everywhere you go there is manipulation all around you.
843  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: October 22, 2018, 09:25:36 AM
It is said that central banks plan to release their own curypto currency in some countries, for example Japan..

How do you think about these crypto?
I do not find these any further improvement over regular fiat. Regular fiats are not too much "banknotes" anymore anyway, we are here talking about how much money we have and we spend it and so forth all via our debit cards and credit cards and all of our money is tied to a bank account that shows numbers and when we pay it to someone else it changes hands and my numbers go down and wherever I gave my money gets their numbers higher thanks to it.

All of money changing hand is digitized right now and there are really only a few places we use cash anymore and spending cash got littler and littler with time. So I do not think having a crypto currency issued by a government would really make a huge difference anyway considering we already have a digital currency by the government anyway.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: Portfolio on: October 22, 2018, 07:46:37 AM
How many cryptos should Ihave in my portfolio? Are there one recommended diversification ( like having 3 or 4 coins) ?
I usually only keep few coins in my portfolio because of two reasons. One I do not like getting spread to thin because I do not see it getting any better when you get to too many coins, there are few ones that gets pumped but usually if the market goes up everything goes up and when market goes down everything goes down as well so getting spread to thin makes no sense to me.

Second reason and definetly the biggest reason is that I do not have too much invesment amount and without the proper funds there is no need to invest 10 dollar into 200 thing when you can invest 200 into 10 things. So right now, I have most of my money tied at bitcoin, a bit on ethereum and used to have a ton of investment into nano but it worths really low now and now I am investing into spectrecoin hoping it would go up really high with the new v3 wallet and mobile app.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Stocks Just Suffered Their Worst Loss in Months on: October 22, 2018, 07:16:37 AM
Stocks are usually not green things all the time but only great on some couple days with some horrible days. It is said that if you were not invested in just 20 highest earning days of the stock market and invested in all other days for the past 10 years (afterwards of the stock market crash) than you would have made almost no profit at all, those 20 highest earning days are the ones that make the market what it is today.

Hence, if you are heavily invested in stocks you should always know to stuck with your papers until the market corrects itself. Yes it fell incredibly but it is not like bitcoin where it stays there for a while and swings side to side constantly, it is a steady investment where you do not get out and if you need more cash for your investment than you find one that pays dividends for your investment to it.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam projects, what should we do! on: October 22, 2018, 06:14:32 AM
If you are in a scam project there are really not much you can do about them.
It is definitely impossible to comeback from something if you are already in it and we can only try to get out as much as we can no matter what.

For example, even tho it is not the coin itself back when nano didn't change its name I was using bitgrail and they blocked everyone from getting their money out of it, I had some nano there and I was trying to get my coins out and the only option was to turn them into bitcoin and cash out directly with bitcoin, which I did but at that time it was already worth 70% of what I paid so I lost that 30% never to see again but at least I still kept 70% of my investment.

Same with other scam projects as well, you try to get out as much as you can and just move on, there is no other way of surviving scam projects.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dying off? on: October 21, 2018, 08:05:04 AM
I don't know about that because I see that the ICO still trying to survive at this moment and some the ICO continue the progress. But there is many ICO still delay their time to end the project and makes many people ask about this. Maybe the ICO needs to extend their project because the market situations are not good for them to end the ICO phase.
There are lots of ICOs that even just came up lately and it is more like the ICO space is just busy saving the best for the last as the case may be.

Judging from the great ideas I get to see these days and with more legit ICOs popping up, with minimum viable product and great business solutions, I must say that the ICO space is growing and in this way, not growing in quantity but in quality which is one thing I know we will get to see as the space just keep getting matured as we forge ahead. We are still in a very early adoption phase, and ICOs are not dead at all; neither are they dying off.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will hold my Alts but I do not care if the market goes to hell on: October 21, 2018, 07:35:48 AM
I have ALTs in the top 10 and have lost a lot of money!
I will hold and hope this market goes to hell: It would Please me to lose my money and watch the market burn!
I am not happy and say thank you to the market manipulators who got rich destroying crypto.
There is no way an ETF will be approved in this manipulated circus.
The founder of ETH needs to book into a mental hospital: This guy is on another planet and is not well mentally!
Saying that a bitch might pump BTC and we might never look backwards!
At this point some of my altcoins are so low that there is literally no reason to sell them. Some of my investments went down more than 80% in value so selling them would make absolutely no sense at all, why would I do it ?

I am focusing more on getting more from those altcoins at these low prices than actually selling because seriously even if I sell them right now they would worth fraction of what I have invested into them and that would cause me to realize the losses I had and I do not want to do that. I would rather keep them there for years before I sell them at 80%-90%+ loss.

It is not really that easy to get more of a coin when it keeps going down, sometimes I purchase some of the same altcoins when I have some money to invest but than I check back at it and it is even lower, that really kills me but it is still better than selling it for such a big loss. If my loss was like %10 or so than I would have sold but %80+ is really too late to sell at this point.
849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going towards the dark on: October 21, 2018, 05:04:30 AM
developing and destroying crypto currencies depending on the investor itself because crypto currencies are crypto currencies moving with and through investors, interest in investing might make crypto currencies grow more rapidly
Investors really do have a lot of part to play in the general growth of the market. The only issue I have though is that newbie investors are just not getting the gist and they are making themselves to miss out on the fact that they need to understand this market pretty well and that is the only way they can at least get the best from it in the long run. Bitcoin is just in a downtrend and that gives an opportunity to buy lower, but since a lot of people are in the aspect of trying to get rich fast, they tend to not get focused on the future and that is where they will always get it all wrong.

I won't be surprised if we get to see a final shakeout in the market, before we get to see an uptrend suffice, but all the same, there is nothing like bitcoin going towards the dark here
Yes, OP is just mentioning about continuously decreasing prices as dark but now a days we are experiencing somewhat stable prices. I do believe the final shakeout had already done and now we are in consolidating phase which is just the beginning point of upward trend.
850  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't like this stable price! on: October 21, 2018, 03:22:18 AM
Bitcoin reaches to 3000$ and 1500$. It's absolutely impossible if this year. In the future, Price of Bitcoin will go to the moon in the year 2019. Because, Recently, Price neither not increasing also not falling. In next time it makes to big jumps.
Nothing is impossible but even if it does, I see no problem in that at all, as I just believe it would be a good time to just be getting into the market more, which is all. I still have the feeling though that we will get to see a huge shake out in the market before we will even be able to think we have reached the bottom and in that case, we will see the volume kicking in real big.

Stable price at the moment is just the market trying to pick a struggle and for what it is worth, however the market tend towards, it will always be an opportunity for huge gains or buying lower. People who do not want to lose their current worth of coins, ask for stable prices as no one will not wish for upward volatile prices. OP must be one of them.

851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: October 21, 2018, 02:10:33 AM
This is the major reasons why online gambling is booming and also it is effecting lot of youngsters who has now got addicted to it and losing a lot of money just in the greed of making making from gambling and end up losing the money. Hopefully they would understand and play for the fun.
Youngsters that have seen the avenue to stay off the radar of the government and despite their age still be able to participate in online gambling. The freedom that online gambling and most especially with blockchain brings is the freedom and that is one thing that has so much affected a whole lot of people who are young and exposed to it at an age in which decision making is something pretty hard for them to make the right ones most of the time. Well, it is what it is when it comes to advancement in technology and some of the negs it brings as well.

There are many good things in traditional gambling, like you can meet your old friends, you can entertain yourself in the atmosphere of casino, spend some time with free mind, drink and dance in pleasant mood and also some gambling.
These are the things which are not at all possible while gambling online but I just wonder, do I really need all of these while gambling ? If I need these kind of entertainments then why should I gamble ? I understand you people are into hang-out hubs but in the name of gambling.

Quote
I don’t like online gambling because of the scams also.
Scams are everywhere, i.e. it is common among online and physical casinos. But, you may have an extra edge if gamble online and remain anonymous then no one could target you.
852  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why has the cryptocurrency market been so stagnant this month? on: October 21, 2018, 01:31:18 AM
For over two months Now, the market has been stagnant. No show of a solid bull in the market. some of my trading friends have abandoned there accounts believing that it might take months before we can see a bull market.
I would not call what we have now as stagnant, this is just a market that is obviously just trying to find a direction and since bitcoin is the main driver of the market train, we guess we will just have to wait for bitcoin to pick the winning side, either the bulls or the bears, and with that we will get to see the market also picking a side based on bitcoin's movement. Patience is all you just need at this point in time and as long as you understand that there is a future, and for the fact that the market is still young and there is chance for huge growth in the long run, then you will want to be taking advantage of the market now.

Honestly most people are so much excited for the bull run but when it comes they didn't know how to deal on it.
That is the thing with a lot of people, they are just so much in a haste to see the market growing up even if there is nothing to even be driving the market up than speculation and this is the main reason why this market keeps becoming a more speculative market and then we tend not to be seeing any form of real life usage. Anyone who wants to abandon their accounts, then probably like you said they have no understanding of what they are doing at all. Apparently, some of those guys who just see trading of the market as a joke and really have no knowledge on how to trade a market effectively.
853  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Positive or negative promotion strengthens crypto market? on: October 20, 2018, 02:35:13 PM

positive promotion? yes because it can attract more potential investors to enter the cryptocurrency scene but negative promotion ? no i dont really think so , negativativity can greatly affect the overall performance of the cryptos and it can also decrease the existing investors resultling for them to leave and quit because they will get discourage .

thats why, we should be careful on what we promote online .  lets make sure that we are only promoting legit projects that doesnt affect the status of other peope or organizations .
The thing with positive and negative promotion is that you will always get to see both, depending on the extent to how negative promotion tends to affect the market. For a crypto market though, I am sure no one will really want to use negativity to get linked with their project which is one thing I believe that even with negative promotion, there will still always be a limit to it.

Sometimes though, awareness is quickly created with negative news than even positive news as questions get to start rising in the minds of investors, but at the same time, positive promotion is still the thing that drives the market to new heights.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 20, 2018, 02:05:08 PM
Maybe not directly has something to do with bitcoin.
I read that Africa, despite it's poor country, they built a lot of blockchain that's now being use and will be sustainable in the future.
I would not be surprise if soon they'll have their own currency.
Built a lot of blockchain ? I would like to know where you possibly got that news from in the first place to at least verify that you are not just saying what you feel like. It is one thing to be considering the aspect of knowing how to use cryptocurrency and it is another thing to even seeing them adopting blockchain pretty fast. Something they do not even have an understanding yet.

Yeah, there is no doubt some few blockchain businesses have popped out from the ideas of some youths in Africa. At least, I know of Kora, as well as KubitX which are not some bad projects which I bumped into, looking for some ICOs to invest in. However, there is still so much to learn generally before we would even be able to see the whole continent at large getting to adopt cryptocurrency, let alone, blockchain technology.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: The production of money... is SCAM! on: October 20, 2018, 07:34:01 AM
The printing of money could be scam but "production" of money makes no sense at all. No one produce money at all, they print it for free and give it to the market and during the 2009 deal it was printed so that the money that just went up in smoke could be replaced and the market wouldn't cripple at once because of the bankrupt banks.

Obviously, it was no surprise that no one in those banks actually gotten any jail time or even a proper earful considering it should have been a real trouble for all of them but I guess that is what you expect the banks that control the governments to be saved by those same governments when they are in need as well.

If the banks fall than almost everyone in the world falls and than politicians wouldn't get the money they are getting from them as "lobbying".
856  Economy / Economics / Re: PNB looks into use of bitcoin! on: October 20, 2018, 06:36:17 AM
This clearly shows that banks have different approach or stand against Bitcoin existence in which some banks like this one is fully supporting Bitcoin currency. Therefore we should not be worrying if they says that banks are against Bitcoin or threaten by Cryptos currency as the banks that against crypto are only few compared to the numbers of banks that are belong to the nation that legalized the use of Bitcoin.
Of course, I do not expect that in the long run banks will not want to find a way to benefit from the sphere. This is a system that is growing daily and globally and that shows that anyone who is even here now and applying the usage for their own growth will always be the ones to reap the huge benefits eventually.

I feel as we keep forging ahead and as we are seeing already now, banks will most definitely not see bitcoin as threat but an advantage to just step up their own game so they do not get left out. At least, it is a good thing that we have another system of payment and spending, that serves about right as a competition for the banks.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: October 20, 2018, 05:13:51 AM
The famous Dan Larimer blockchain developer knew what centralized trash means, do you really  think he'd develop one?  Why people are shout scam is because they are aiming to buy. Are they still shouting scam on eth after what happen? EOS is the future. They are giving incentives to developers developing on their platform.
Lol, you really do have a point there and then we saw ETH growing and growing and growing until we are now even seeing $200 as a bottom. I sure know how much I bought ETH early last year. The thing is no one knows what the future holds for anything; it is a market and as long as you believe in what you are holding, forgets what anyone else is saying and just hold on to your thing. No one can make your decision for you than you yourself. People tend to get carried away by what they hear, but the truth is as long as you can do your own due diligence and you are convince enough, then go ahead.

Collecting funds is not easy for new ICO project and once your coin in listed in exchange you will be able to price it the most promising coins in the market. Thousands of coins in the market and when there are many option for investment, selection become very difficult for future investments.
Selection should never become difficult for investors, what is important is to just invest in what you know you can handle and then stick with it for the long term which also depends on your strategy and the criteria with which you make use of to pick your coins anyway. There are plenty options for investment quite alright, but for one thing that is certain, as long as you believe in the future of a coin, you know what makes it tick and you know there will be good growth and demand, then, you should be investing in it.
858  Economy / Marketplace / Re: WHY INVESTORS (INVESTORS) SHOULD ATTEMPT TO ETH AT THIS TIME? on: October 19, 2018, 01:54:13 PM
The chance now in ethereum to earn is high because it drops 2x already this year like it can back anytime or grow little by little again i think that's only cycle of btc and alts like they are so volatile then base in the developer of eth i assure that this will stay another thing this will going high in the future like btc in past december 2017 that no one imagine it so just hold some so your prepare in that time,Moreover we see already the potential of ethereum so this is solid for investment like really trusted
Ethereum is recovering again and the market cap is increasing again. The investors also know this thing and they realize that in the future they can make handsome profits from ehtereum. Bitcoin price is very high and small investors cannot afford lose in bitcoin investment. It is much better to invest in Ethereum instead of bitcoin because the price is quite reasonable.
It is something that will most definitely happen and there is no doubt at all about it. The whole market has been down and Ethereum really took a huge chunk of it, which I believe it is something that I am sure once it recovers we should see some pretty good movement upward.

A lot will have to do with the price of bitcoin anyway judging from the fact that a lot of people are trying to see what comes of bitcoin before they make any serious decision at all. This is the zone where most people would want to be waiting it out first before making any serious attempt on the market but it is a really good time to be buying Ethereum anyway.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Monero become next BTC? on: October 19, 2018, 01:01:45 PM
I think it's very difficult for Monero to beat Bitcoin. even so Monero remains the best altcoin at the moment and even they are also the old altcoins that still survive today. maybe to beat bitcoin is impossible but there is still a chance to enter top 10 the best altcoins.
It is always going to be difficult. I would always call Satoshi a genius for even coming up with the Pseudo anonymous thing in the first place which is more like he kind of fore saw some of the things that could actually delay its growth in the long run. The same thing that makes Monero so good when it comes to being fully anonymous is the same thing I see destroying it in the long run. How do we think government is going to end up coming down on such cryptocurrencies like Monero, Dash and the likes when regulation kicks in ?

Think about it! We may say we are not there yet, but regulations are something that is bound to happen at some point and with the way things are going. I know it is a P2P, but if regulation limits exchanges from listing such coins, what do we think would happen?
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your guess for how high Ripple XRP prices will go? There's a limit. on: October 19, 2018, 12:28:16 PM
no wonder if the ripple is supported by many people. several times the ripple showed his strength and tried to take second place from ethereum. ripple is very ambitious and this attitude can make him commit suicide. ripple reaches $3 more as its ATH and I think ripple can reach $5 with the help of the pump.
Ripple cannot be accepted by so many people and no matter the strength it tries to pull it will still be suppressed somehow. Highest I will ever see ripple get to as well is going to be $5 and I would not expect something pretty big like what we had in bitcoin or any other market at all.

First and foremost, this is a centralized market and it is going to be controlled obviously, and just like the OP said, the idea is to have a banker's coin with fast speed and pretty cheap so it can be transferred at very little cost, and if we start seeing ripple get off the hook, that changes things. Also, I wonder who would want to be buying an overpriced market where the developers are holding most of it.
