There are 9 in Season Tournament fixtures for tonight, and a couple of games I'm looking forward to, I'll be locked in on Brooklyn Nets vs Boston Celtics, I've been quite interested in Brooklyn Nets this season, I really love them as a team, to bad they've lost their biggest scoring player so far this season in Cam Thomas to injury, but meanwhile Cameron Johnson another elite shooter would be back into the roster, he might not be at his best so I'm expecting Mikael Bridges to do a bit of the lifting in terms of points tonight, I've got 3 players from Brooklyn Nets on players props.

I've got;

1. Mikael Bridges Over 24.5 points @ 1.86 Odds

2. Dorian Finney Smith Over 5.5 Rebounds @ 1.76 Odds

3. Kristaps Porzingis Over 1.5 Blocks @ 2.45 Odds

----------------------------------

Another matchup I'll be going in on is Los Angeles Lakers vs Phoenix Suns, however, that will be dependent on my first 3 bets above turns out, and then I'm trying to be sure which players will be available, as Anthony Davis for Lakers and Bradley Beal are still both considered as probable for the game, while these are supposed to be my primary targets, but I might have to improvise if they're eventually unavailable for the match.

He played for 12 mins, three minutes less Cheesy I blame the coach, maybe he should not have played Estupinan when they were already two goals ahead and could have managed without him since he was just new from injuries.

It is no concern of mine though, I had him before and earned me some good points in some GW, but I am not going back to him even if he recovers.

Blame the fitness coach who declared him fit to Play. The manager was only doing his job trying to manage and  to defend the goal.

At the end of the day it's always up to the player, fitness coach really can't if a player isn't fit enough for a game, there are no tests that could determine if a player his actually fit enough, some players are always eager to get back on the pitch and once a player have been able complete several full contact training session with the full squad, and the player often times don't hide that they still have some small discomfort and it's always not the fitness coach managers fault in this case, there is no better way to integrate him back into squad to gain proper match fitness than bringing him in after with 25 minutes left to go in an already wrapped up game against even a more so against a team like Ajax that aren't doing well by any means currently, it's just an unfortunate incident. I just don't think either the fitness coach or the manager would find it necessary to bring him on if they knew they'd taking any risk at all.

--------------------------

Transferring Maddison and Haaland out early enough after their respective injury scare was not a move solely influenced by lack of patience, but it was more tactical approach from me because I was already looking to be rid of either Son Heung-Min or Maddison himself to make room for an Arsenal midfielder Saka or Martinelli, and Haaland not being at he's best of form too was already something I was considering to have two more options upfront while Man City plays their next couple of fixtures which are all going to be against tough opponents.

I took quite a bit of points hit for this game week, and it is a really needed move for me, ngl.

Careful what you say about your underperforming team, Igebotz and notblox1 might be lurking around you know, and that's the last information you'd divulge to them.

cryptofrka is just doing this as a smokescreen to mask the cheating that will come later. Igebotz bad cop lurking.

I think you've won this round, Harko, too disappointed in my new boys to check if we can even possibly try for a draw. For all my luck this season, we might get the equaliser and get it VAR'd out anyway.

Too early to complain but I suppose I have to give back the free points from CLS63...

You can call it an instant karma, or even steven getting back at you, that's quite pretty fast though.

Going for the safest option have always been what cost me the most last season, especially those H2H questions and mixed options questions, I have decided that their no safe option for now, regardless of what is at stake I would likely follow my guts for those question, for the Europa League question, I went all yes without second though or considering the opponent, and the same thing goes for the AC Milan vs PSG question, if it were to be last season, I can certainly tell you that my result for the Europa League and Conference question would have been 0/5, while I would have also gone for AC Milan not scoring a goal against PSG.

Trofo would be glad to have his brother back to the Div 2 next season.

How could you ever go toe-to-toe without a side bet? I left Div 1 in a matter of months, and all the rivalry and side bets vanished? What's the point of beating you if he can't celebrate with your money? Spending your money irresponsibly hit like Ghanaian crack

I don't think side bets have vanished, I'd presume each team are just trying to build a better chemistry level within their squad before taking them on side bets at least for me, a derby match against buwaytress would sure have had some beers on the line at least  Cheesy

With 3 different answers left and a 2-0 deficit, it seems that I'll mark another loss. Definitely not the start the fans have expected after back-to-back promotions.

Careful what you say about your underperforming team, Igebotz and notblox1 might be lurking around you know, and that's the last information you'd divulge to them.

NB: Welcome! that's probably your official welcome to the Division it's a reality check, you still have quite some fixture ahead of you, buwaytress, and jeremypwr, are Man City and Liverpool of the division, so you might want to take it slow with your L's because there are still pretty much more ahead  Wink

For tonight's game, here are some of my picks for player props/bet builder all unders except for Giannis 2+ blocks. I didn't place a moneyline bet but my picks for tonight are both home teams: Indiana Pacers and Magic. The Pacers played well in their last game while the Bucks had a crucial match against the Pistons, with Giannis getting ejected last game. I chose the Magic due to the home court advantage. Not else. Lol thoughts?

The only way to get parity with your bet is to have it being rendered null and void since Damian Lillard didn't suit up for the game but Giannis is firing on all cylinders I guess getting ejected last night had it's effect on him getting all fired up tonight, he's got a chance to record a new all time personal high for points, he's currently got 54 with more than 4 minutes left to play, I knew it was going to be a huge day in the office for him when he scored 26 points in the first half alone.

Not popular opinion but Spurs and Arsenal are next to target for high-value losses.

Feel obligated to carry me along, that is if it is bound to the be a profitable experience  Wink

Now if only the blue side of Manchester can also show signs of infection. Or those financial crimes finally get resolved because that team is ridiculous. Counting on Chelsea to beat them. Happy to sacrifice BSFL point for that!

You said you're willing to sacrifice your BSFL point to take some profit from a bet against Man City, but I guess this time around, we'll never found out, as your L for this round is nothing but official already after both Brighton and West Ham won their respective Europa League fixtures.

---------------------

I can now take the next few days not monitoring the spreadsheet, and focus more on the betterment of my performance in other pools.

No Draymond tonight for the Warriors as they take on the Denver Nuggets. Given the already large size difference between the teams I think this will be problematic for the Warriors. Jokic should have himself quite a night. Draymond isn’t injured or anything as he’s listed as being out for personal reasons. Still, the Nuggets should easily get this win. We’ll see…

That indeed went down to the wire, It wasn't by any means an easy win for Denver Nuggets, Steve Kerr's warriors started with Saric and Looney the only two big available for the Warriors I believe that's to limit the effect Nikola Jokic, but there was just no way to stop the Joker, but then the Warriors huge squad depth despite missing a number guys that help out defensively like GP II and Draymond, while Curry was not at his usual best too, the Wiggins and Chris Paul playing below par, the Warriors still showed huge level of competitiveness.

Murray was out too, so Nuggets are also undermanned, if Murray wasn't injured, Nuggets could easily dominate the Warriors in that game IMO. overall, it was a very entertaining game, Curry was quite limited in this game due to the good defense of the Nuggets but it's a winnable game for them, they just made some bad decision down the stretch.

BTW, Murray is out for 3-4 weeks with  hamstring injury according to report, but it looks like Nuggets are still a very strong team.

https://www.nba.com/news/jamal-murray-hamstring-injury

You have a point with the Denver Nuggets missing a key piece in Jamal Murray as well, I was just speaking about the Nuggets being the favorites, and some expecting that it would be an easy win for them.

I'm sure it would have been a different kind of ball game If both teams were to have all their best players available for the game.

For the Nuggets Reggie Jackson is really proving to be a great asset right now for the team.

This guy is always been an underrated player, with the Nuggets which is playing like a real team, I believe Jackson would be a big help in the playoffs, like KCP.

I was one of the people who believed that Nuggets were the big losers in the trade that saw Reggie Jackson move to the Denver and and saw Bones Hyland going the other way to the Los Angeles Clippers, because Hyland was a young and very promising Guard, that I expected could be the face of the Nuggets franchise in the future, but as it would turn that they even still got young Guards for the future of the franchise while trading for a veteran that often is a leader of their 2nd unit, and does an amazing job with the said unit, at age 33! The next one month without Jamal Murray will surely show how great an opportunity they maximized by getting Reggie.

What do you guys think of this new in-season tournament that the NBA is putting together this year for the firs time in history.  Or at least I believe it's the first time.  I've never heard of the NBA even wanting to do something like this before.  This should be a pretty fun season overall and I can't wait to see how this new in-season tournament plays out.

This is a highly welcomed development or innovation if that's the best word to use here, it brings an extra level of competition amongst the team and you can see that the teams have taken it the tournament quite serious too because it somewhat prepares them not just for the post season elimination game since it's a one game per team in the group and also single elimination round after that too, and the season is way too long just for the post season game alone, while the All Stars weekend is just some boring competition that no player even takes serious. The awards such as MVPs, team of the tournament that and a title makes it a really worthwhile and would drive extra revenues and viewership too!

Hahaha man what a move made by Hhampuz it was a ALL-IN one. He go to the flop with a pair of 2 and he ended up having a poker.

Just when i was filling my picks in this week i think in the possibilities of having a mayor win in points if you go with a very weak one participant, but i never think to put the 10 points in one hahaha.
Congratulations, now you are in top.

It's a week to forget for me and re-strategize ahead of the next round, I had 1 result, 7 close results and 2 exact scores, that 10/16, it wouldn't have so bad If I had just gotten a couple more exact score instead of 7 close ones, 2-0 picks playing 2-1 final result, while my 2-1 picks all turned out to be either 1-0, or 2-1.

And fucking Man United deprived me of the last hope in the Pot B pool, I was glad for a minute after they took 2-3 lead, I felt that was it, and I would have gotten almost 15 points for the week.

And another day without a point while vd309 managed to score both today's points to make it 3-0. It will be impossible to recover from this because we have only three different answers so the best I can hope for is a draw, but I'm not that confident. I think it's time to change tactic because it's not working this way. I managed to get a win last week just because my opponent scored 1 point while I scored 2 points. I guess I can relate to Man United going trough the rough time.

Man United have successfully cost me in four different fronts, I should be 4 at the very least 3 points difference clear off Buwaytress, but as usual just like drug addicts, Man United can't their nose clean.

I lost points here, and I'm also getting zero points this for having my stake in the UCL pool on Man United as well too, what a week!

I’m probably out of the any race there is here, my team keep getting injury plagued after every fortnight of either double transfers or even after multiple points hit.

I was finally glad to be rid of Haaland after the injury scare and wasted captaincy, just to find out I’m just being victim of Guardiola’s roulette and mind games yet again!

As we saw in this thread, someone was so lucky that they scored 170 points with the “average” lineup. If you take a chance and are lucky, then such a number of points will definitely return you to the race (if not immediately to first place). There are already 27 rounds ahead and it seems to me that literally every participant has a chance.

Yeah, right!

I might have exaggerated with reference to the leaderboard point differences and how little my chances could be to still stand a chance to end up on the prized podium of the pool, my post literally was just rant about how shitty and unlucky my decisions have turned out to be in the past few weeks now despite using my wildcard already, but I was informed by FPL themselves earlier that I'm actually part of the managers that had perhaps below average, but still it should be considered a beautiful week compared to some other managers.
The standouts would be the managers with just 1 point for the game week, and another with a -2 point and majority of his squad out injured or suspended.

Damn... Another start of the week and another first day without a point. Congrats to everyone who got the first two answers right because there are not many of you. I can't believe that Leipzig had 24 shots out of which only four of them were on target. I guess it wasn't Zvezda goalkeeper's day because he let two goals in out of four shots.

I would say I saw it coming but not with 24 total shots from RB Leipzig honestly, I expected more of a physical game and very close game just like the score line suggested, but I was of the notion that it will be some 3-4 shots on goal from both sides, especially knowing RB Leipzig would be the away team.

----------------------

As for Manchester United, I think it should be a walk in the park for them unlike their recent results, and with a Man United win and cleansheet, Borneo headhunters would have been successfully incapacitated for this week  Cheesy

I'm ignoring everyone here talking about 7 points, 6 points, and such. I've thrown the hairdryer at all my players, demoted strikers to reserves, and given in to introducing some Academy debutants. I scored 1 point. Unacceptable.

Milan-PSG was off to a blistering start already, I picked Milan to score 1 so that was way too fast for my liking as they already scored 2... while RS keeper has yet to make a save (10 blocked shots, bus parked) so it looks like Harko's screwing it on me early. In fact, Cop-United and PSV-Lens also matter with different answers so we both get max excitement from these UCL ties!

I told you I was coming for blood this round, and it's not even going to be close my friend, would I say it's an honor to hand you your first big L for this season, or are you still dream of a turning the tie around huh ?

If I remember correctly the time last season, you were still very much invisible, maybe every other team can have their round against you too, after I destroy your mojo.

I put 10 stakes on Shakhtar to beat Barcelona, maybe this can put me back in contention for Pot B Cheesy

And there we have it already, one gutsy pick and it's all going one way already, what a timely strike!

Just right when no one saw it coming, and it's literally awkward, how you were point picked out Barcelona individually, and that's the only upset we've so far, and going all in, that's nuts!
