841  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: April 19, 2023, 08:05:06 PM
I honestly think bulls are back on markets. You can currently watch markets and see anytime correction happens it triggers another demand and prices can't find chance to go lower. In past, like a month-2 months ago it was completely different. People were trying to make money but bears were killing demand. Although I believe we aren't in huge bull run this year as I think its too early for one. Next year will be better.
Too early to expect a huge bull run for this year.

With what I'm expecting, it should happen after the halving just as what the cycles that we have gone through for the past years. That's demonstrated before and that's why all thoughts are for it.

Just as 2020 when the halving was done, the bull actually started on that year so who knows if next year will be the start of the larger bull run.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: April 19, 2023, 07:08:20 PM
Trading is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Most beginners usually want immediate gratification, hence, they venture into crypto trading with little or no knowledge at all. I don't think people who are just starting our in crypto should engage in trading.
With people's success in trading, those that have heard about it are the ones thinking that this is an easy way and a quick get rich scheme wherein they think that they can do it as well.

IMO, nothing wrong with the new ones to engage with trading but they need to understand the risk and the fate isn't with them at the beginning.

They should get a good understanding of the concept before they begin trading. This would obviously take quite a lot of time but it would be worth all the mistakes and errors in the future. Information is power.
And little information is dangerous as they say, that's when someone think he's better than the others by just having the crowd source information.

844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HK envisions a positive outlook for cryptos, especially altcoins ? on: April 18, 2023, 10:14:31 PM
Situation in Hong Kong is becoming better. They're giving the option for everyone to be there and have some great business experience and so as they try to recover from the pandemic.

They have to extract every possible source of income that they can including cryptocurrencies. They can be a major hub in the South East Asia for those companies that wants to have their office operations there.

The adjustment is done because they want to quickly grow their economy and giving that exceptions and benefits to any potential source for their country.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: April 18, 2023, 09:10:18 PM
if asked to choose Bitcoin or Altcoin of course I prefer to invest in Altcoins,
especially now is the bearish season where many potential altcoins are experiencing severe dumps,
for example Verasity or VRA, Vsystem or Vsys, and Nervos or CKB,
yes these three coins are potential altcoin in my opinion, try to find out and you will understand how I chose it.
I don't think that all of those altcoins that you've mentioned I'll get one. Most of them, I'll pass. And if that's your choice to choose more with altcoins than bitcoin.

You probably might have taken lots of profits with altcoins and that's why you're saying that you prefer it than the king of cryptos.

I've heard of Verasity and it's ATH was 10x from its current price.
if you look at the fundamentals, I think Verasity can also be considered even though the price of verasity is already 10x because the fundamentals of verasity are very good,
especially about the POV or Proof of View which is very useful for users and makes VRA probably even exceed the ATH price in 2021
Honestly, I haven't done depth research about it but if you did that and you think that they really are that based on what you're saying.

It's up to you whether you think that they'll be one of the kind in the near future since the altcoins' season is about to get in here before bitcoin shoots up.

2021 was the time of bull run and no doubt that verasity gets on that peak but we'll see if it's going to be broken when the next bull comes.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC calls Algorand a security - thoughts? on: April 18, 2023, 12:58:44 PM
They'll call any project they think as a security and they're unstoppable for that. Anyway, if you do solely believe on the project they're calling it security or not, you'll just stay whatever they say.

Because SEC's move are not going to change and soon, they're going to call other projects as security as well whether it's on your portfolio or not.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your tips and tricks to orange pill your family and friends on: April 18, 2023, 10:57:55 AM
If it's from my immediate family, it won't be a problem to me if someone from them asks me to do it for them since I know all of them and I know their traits towards me and their approach with money.

But if it's not from my immediate family, I'll have to decline but will still give them some advice and tips on what they must do.

And only from there, they can't extract more from me and no any favor aside from those tips.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: April 17, 2023, 05:45:28 PM
1. What will happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes a legal tender? Will they have a massive growth,or would people sell and jump into  Bitcoin?
Nothing in general. We're just seeing the natural growth for bitcoin and its adoption.

2. What would happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes relatively stable( when it is fully mined and will solve its problem of price volatility)? Will alt coins survive the test of time? Will new alt coins be created later? What would become of the various countries'currencies, especially the Dollar (the global reserve currency) after Bitcoin's general acceptance?
Creation of newer altcoins won't be stopped and that is because a developer think that he's better than the others and solving their scalable problems.

3. If alt  coins survive in the next century what is the reason it would.
We will never know, we might be no longer here in this world by that time.

4. Should alt coins be traded rather than HODL?
Yeah, I guess so that most of them should be traded.
849  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: April 17, 2023, 04:41:36 PM
A  side job/business of course it can support our finances, for example I do a side job by being a home marketing and when I'm lucky I can get a big income, even 3 months ago I can sell my house and get a commission equivalent to 2 years if I work in an office.

If you got this kind of break, then it will really bring a decent amount of profits, and from what I understand, 2 years of your monthly expected salaries, a very huge side job which if you manage to invest that money,

There's a big chance that it can grow more and will be a big saving for you. It's really good to have
a side income that will help you to finance other expenses.
A commission type of job is worthwhile for those who have been earning from it. That's a tough job at the beginning but when you make connections and network then that will be an ease for your task of selling properties and things.

This is why this type of side job becomes full time for those realtors that have been earning a lot from their commission, they just can't ignore how much they can earn from it if they fully commit their times on it.

851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: April 17, 2023, 12:16:27 PM
Trading approaches that were profitable in the past may no longer be effective in the future. When considering a strategy shift, it's critical to analyze previous tactics and decide whether to dismiss them entirely or keep them in mind for the future. While a new strategy may be operating well, an old one may become useful again in the future. It is critical to remain adaptable and open to modifying techniques as needed, while still recognizing the potential usefulness of previous approaches. Finally, the most effective approach is one that is adaptable to changing market conditions. Willing to learn some new strategies, any tips?
Just keep on trend and see if you can also adapt those trends.

With that, you'll get to have some advantage by knowing what are on the trends because that's reflecting on the market. Knowing such will give you the idea on what coins to trade.

But with combination of market knowledge and strategies, you'll get better results by applying all that you know.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 😉; It's The Weekend,Banks Are Closed, Bitcoin Is Up 24/7hrs on: April 17, 2023, 10:08:48 AM
It's a good sunday evening to remind lots of people who must have lots of trust in the government and the banks. They are all in for the control and power forcefully placed to deny those who aren't self aware of the freedom they should hey whenever they utilize bitcoin.
Bitcoin network has been current, up to date, and also transparent with the help of the blockchain, I just want to say, stick with bitcoin and even if currently cash is king and we can not over run it yet, Bitcoin gives you the power and control over your money not the fiat.
Just have bitcoin and have the control over your wealth. Unlike remaining it on fiat, it will be lessened by the inflation unless you start buying assets that can beat inflation like real estate, gold and other assets.

Bitcoin is giving everyone to become our own banks and yes, banks are closing every weekend, some are open on Saturdays but during holidays most of them are closed.

While for bitcoin, it doesn't stop and its network has been healthy 99.99% except those few moments years ago when I was still not on this space which had been reportedly abrupted.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: April 16, 2023, 10:46:33 PM
Many new projects use such tricks to attract investors, but I can say that many newbies believe it to be true and buy new coins without doing proper research. If you buy based on enticing posts without researching, the chances of losses are very high. Therefore, any investor should always be cautious and satisfied before making a purchase decision, rather than being swayed by emotions.
And one of it is about PR marketing.

That's the most used way and strategy for the new projects to emerge from nothing into something. All of them have come up with that idea because it's best to reach out these publishing companies and give them some exposure from their projects.

With a hefty amount of money as payment, they'll be published and gets some quick sort of attention and fame through their agencies.

It's a must to do research, so DYOR is always what we see from everyone who gives answers for people asking if this-that coin is a good investment.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Meme Coins? on: April 16, 2023, 07:38:48 PM
It's a risk to invest in meme coins, and I suggest that you put money that you are willing to risk because it will be a problem if you risk everything. You need to know that you are getting into something that is not predictable and more volatile than Bitcoin because it needs to be established. Be careful with that for sure.
Most newbies that I've encountered not just in the forum but also IRL have been welcomed to meme coins, that's a far introduction for them and it's true that investing in meme coins is riskier these days because pump there is done.
That's probably the most interesting thing that they have seen aside from Bitcoin. I believe there are some pushbacks to what crypto currency is especially BTC and that might have become a kind of resort to meme coins because it is easy to relate to or something.
It's because they've been told that it's the type of crypto that has gained the most and all they hear is Elon, doge, shiba and meme coins. That's why they get to have the idea that the market isn't really all about bitcoin but most to meme coins.

It's the first time I read of FMCpay. Any reviews anyone?
I haven't seen someone review them but every time they create some topics like this, they always get to have that introduction being inserted in the discussion.
Now that I have looked into the profile, I understand now. It's an advertisement. I hope someone, who tried it, would give an honest review or something.
Yes, that's it!

An advertisement on their end while making some active discussions which isn't a new strategy that we've seen here.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: April 16, 2023, 06:45:04 PM
I see people that are ETH maximalists and claiming that ETH has gained more than bitcoin. I won't contest anything to them and if that's a fact then so be it but I hold both and I've gained more with bitcoin.

Also, after BTC surviving for more than 10 years and not even the Chinese government being able to stop it, I am quite confident it can not be stopped.
But can ETH somehow be stopped? Confiscated or devalued when exchanges are attacked
As of now, it can be said as a yes.

But what's difficult on the altcoins market, you'll never know if another altcoin is about to emerge and we all know the fact that no altcoin can be at BTC's current situation because it's there to last indefinitely.
856  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe Not Possible For Governments To Get Off Fiat?? on: April 16, 2023, 05:46:54 PM
IMHO, this is more of Economics topic and not a Bitcoin Discussion.

More less to drop a fiat system altogether for the international business aspect for that countries exports and imports.
They won't drop the fiat system because that's the standard of all countries in the world. They have no other means of exchange but through that unless they all agree that they can receive trades through gold or silver.

But then, in today's modern world, most of these countries are starting to think who should be at the top and who should still be at the top and that's being decided now. And everything is still in paper right now unless the changes has come.

858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 15, 2023, 04:13:14 PM
If it increases rapidly, the you can not invest it. So, you invest slowly and smartly.
You can still invest if the increase is too quick. That's what the common people does and they're only investing when they see that the price is going up so fast.

But then, they don't like the slowly but surely way of investing thus, they're all missing the whole point of DCAing even if they don't want that to say, that's it.

People do underestimate the slow process of investing and are only enticed with quick and great gains but ignores the risk it bears.
859  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 15, 2023, 03:22:55 PM
In those financial literacy contents that I'm watching, they're always suggesting to have an emergency fund first before going on with any investment.

Like an EF that's good as 3-6 months worth of your salary then you may proceed to the next stage of having an investment.

That's just a suggestion from them you know what's best for you whether that small amount could be into your savings or additional EF or go directly it with an investment or asset.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge can it go 1$ on: April 15, 2023, 02:05:37 PM
The increase in meme coin price is just because of the help from hype made by Elo Musk. Dogecoin has no strong fundamentals, so it is always very risky to invest in this coin.
I agree with that but Dogecoin has been there with being as is, as a meme coin even without Elon and hype before.

It's been preloved by the community for being what it is and the image did just became ugly when too many meme coins were made and after it has got the pump and attention done by Elon.

You can't expect to invest in this coin for the long term, it is not a safe investment.
They saw the pump and still think that there will be a better pump for it again but we don't know if some gains will be made again. But I reckon what you said, if it's for long term, better choose another one.
