861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SELL ALL YOUR FIAT AND LIVE 100% CRYPTO!!!! on: May 10, 2018, 01:52:29 PM
this is a very risky step, it takes a lot of courage, they are very lucky. I would not have been able to do this, since my family will be totally against me.
Yeah, they are just pretty much lucky because any risk that is way beyond normal reasoning and the person getting the best from it is pretty much just luck as it could have been the other way round. I am not sure I can actually do something like this as well as that was way too off the hook and it only takes someone with so much gut and a don't care attitude to pull this off.

He actually said it back then, that he believes this is the future and even if anything happens, the worst is that he will have to start over, but a risk he is willing to take. It paid him off though.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: May 10, 2018, 01:21:07 PM
if ETH reaches $ 2000 then it is a very unusual thing, all possibilities can happen in the world of crypto, we can not predict altcoin growth for sure, because altcoin growth will experience up and down, and it all depends on ICO shareholders who play the market.
based on my observing, it will be happened in the ber months. yes, the Ethereum will reached the price of 2,000$ in the ber months. until now the price is fluctuating it is not stable, it is not continue in rising only, sometimes it dropped and sometimes it rised. the ethereum are not the kinds of coin that explode. it is rising up little by little. we know that.
If I may ask, based on which observation ?
It just seems we have a lot of clowns on this forum who thinks their assumption really counts in the market that is obviously very volatile and complex. I get it! We are all optimistic but we should at least always place reality into our optimism. So far, no one knows how long it would take for Ethereum to ever get close to hitting the previous ATH, let alone a new ATH, but however it is, we just HOPE for the best really.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Guide ★ Don't Panic on: May 09, 2018, 07:25:19 PM
Investing in ICO is actually a very risky thing to do honestly as long as you are not a very sound investor who would know how to filter out a good ICO and at least use that one to minimize the risk to some pretty good extent and as long as you can do this, it is actually worth it most of the time.

Nevertheless, holding bitcoin and ETH or any other good potential coin is already an investment and considering how the BTC and ETH market has been doing though, the any holder should be fine in the long run rather than struggling with ICO. Instead of trying to contribute in ICO, I do try to hunt the bounties because of I am ready to spend my time and efforts rather than my hard earned money.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: May 09, 2018, 06:11:47 PM
Ofcourse gamblers mindset will be a winner.Ofcourse he wish to win in every game.
No gamblers will think that he's playing because he wants to be a loser.Maybe if he is crazy,he want always to be a loser.

And that mindset is the reason why he is losing, the other side of this mind is saying that he should stop but he listened to the other one saying to do what he sets already in his mind before playing, and that is very wrong. Being emotionally weak in gambling might lead you to some serious problem, like for example is you might get crazy over the money that you have lost in gambling, you just can't stop yourself thinking about it everyday.
It is just quite unfortunate that is the way most gamblers always think and the funny part of it all is that they will never change from that mindset.

I wonder why someone would be counting on a game of luck to set them up for life and rather than see gambling for what it is, they are focusing on winning, or making profit. It is even that idea of making profit that always make me want to puke most of the time as it is a terrible way of thinking when it comes to gambling.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New gambling ideas on: May 09, 2018, 05:36:05 PM
Why not just release the dice website first to know if there are players interested in your site because these ideas could be useless if no one would be interested to play in your website just to get a feel of what it's like. I said this because i've seen a lot of gambling sites that doesn't last long and suddenly stop. Also by releasing it early you can build up your reputation faster then the rest should follow.
That would actually be a start but the thing here is that he will definitely have to come up with something pretty enticing to be able to break out from the stiff competition in this industry since there are so many reputable and reliable ones already offering that. I doubt if anyone will want to leave bitsler, cryptogames, fortunejack and the rest for a new site knowing how some have opened their own gambling site in the past just to end up as a scam eventually.

Still, looking for new gambling ideas must be a great initiative by OP to entertain all of us with his new venture. Success of that venture may be a secondary. But being innovative for change is the thing attracted me too here.
866  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 09, 2018, 05:04:20 PM
I just thought it would be difficult to fix the price of the goods to be sold or the services offered because the price of crypto sellau changed. eg today btc price $ 7000, whereas tomorrow may change, down to $ 6000 or rise to $ 8000. it will be difficult to ensure the right price.
It is really difficult but there is always an easy way out. Normally, even if you are fixing price, you are not going to be fixing the price in bitcoin, but probably in USD or in your currency with the mode of payment in bitcoin enabled, which anyone who wants to use this mode of payment will get the equivalent at that particular period in time, and a time interval to make the payment, otherwise, it would be reviewed. The thing here is you just have to find a way to play it safe due to the volatility in the market and most especially when rendering online business as the volatility can just send you packing out of business.
867  Economy / Economics / Re: Prices will some day fluctuate less? on: May 09, 2018, 02:47:37 PM
Do you think that someday the prices for Bitcoin will fluctuate less and ppl will be able to use more as a currency, and not only as a form of investment?
This is one of the main problems of bitcoin. Until bitcoin is used primarily as a means for investment, that is, as a means of accumulating value, it will grow in value, manifest itself as a financial bubble, and its volatility will become more and more. In the end, it could ruin him. The more its price becomes, the more risky will be the investment in it. If negative news coincides with a decrease in its value with the next manifestation of volatility, it can lead to panic and bitcoin may fall to its original value.
Until bitcoin is used primarily as a means of investment ? I guess you know the fact it is more like a speculative asset now that we have it as it is. Nothing drives the price except for just pure speculation and then you wonder how it is ever going to be sustainable in the long run.

The real usefulness of bitcoin was mainly supposed to be as a currency and asset base is just one of the positive sides of it, but it seems more attention is being focused on the investment aspect than the real life usage aspect which the latter is really what we need to see a less fluctuating price.
868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which coin safe for trading? on: May 09, 2018, 02:14:40 PM
There are generally no safe coins to trade else everybody will be trading it.. But if you're thinking of alts
note companies that will burn there coins for example this below
https://themerkle.com/education-ecosystem-to-burn-30-million-education-tokens-ledu-on-july-31st-2018/
You can join their tg: @educoins
Yeah, all you just need is the understanding on how to trade safely and try your best to not get screwed. The market is generally volatile and no matter the coin, if there is simply no strategy at all, then there is no way anyone can get the best from trading. Trading is not that simple and no coin can make it easy, the only thing that can make it easy for anyone is just that person himself. It is also important to know that there are some coins not to be traded anyway as they are mainly shit coins, but that is simply different from trading itself.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: May 09, 2018, 01:31:15 PM
Perhaps in 2018 ICO makers no longer focus on the project's objectives, they just want to raise capital so much, the project still has many shortcomings but they still want to raise funds to develop them. As the ICO has not officially intervened, the opening of the ICO is rampant in the market.
I bet only you can understand all the things you have just said. You think 2017 was not worst ? Even though we have some pretty good ICOs in 2017, we still had a lot of scams that evolved and ended up running away with investor's funds.

So far so good, I believe 2018 will even be a better year than last year with the way regulation is taking shape and this should at least help us to see some sane leveled environment. Also, looking at the way some of the social media sites are going about to verify legit ICOs and companies, we might as well start seeing the start of scam ICOs being washed down the drain.
870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: new to this things on: May 09, 2018, 09:52:41 AM
im new in this trading.so i dont how to start.im affraid to do something wrong..help me please 😊
Since you are new, then find a way to read. The problem is a lot of you do not like researching because if you do, you would have been able to browse through this forum to know pretty well that there are some discussions that would be of help to you rather than opening this topic to ask the same question over again. However, there are so many resources online that you can make good use of and except that; you may not be able to get the best from your trading.
871  Economy / Economics / Re: Can it be possible for the whole wide world use a single currency? on: May 08, 2018, 07:02:17 PM
I think if the world is gonna have a single and common currency, it would benifit all, but trading currencies wouldnt be possible then, but I think if the world is gonna have one, then cryptocurrency is gonna be their choice and the most commonly known cryptocurrency is bitcoin, I think it would be better if we will have different currencies for us to be able to trade and earn big.
The benefit is not even something we should be thinking about when the impossibility is more. Moreover, I really do not see how one system of governance is going to benefit anyone, as this is what it exactly implies in case we are not seeing that picture.

Secondly, I do not believe any government will even want to make that decision of picking bitcoin over their currency unless things have really gone so awry with their economy and this can only be done by accepting it alongside the fiat, and not imposing it as a single currency before we even start referring to the whole world.
872  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather see steady growth in Bitcoin or strong upward spikes instead? on: May 08, 2018, 04:57:28 PM
I wanted to see what the general thoughts of the community here are. With bitcoin being in a pretty steady state for the past few weeks, it seems like there's going to be a set up for some kind of growth. With that, there can be many paths, but after seeing today's price (which was up around 5% when I checked), I was wondering if the volatility is what people actually like about bitcoin.

So, do you guys like the volatility and the strong spikes upwards or would you rather like steady growth, around 5% gains over time?

I like the volatility and the strong spikes but it was very hard to determine when we should invest or hold our coin because there might be changes if immediately on prices after a day so i prefer to hold my coin in a very tight spot or volatile days.
It is funny you said you like it and then you are still stating the disadvantages as it applies to you. Spikes are caused by greed and that is one fuel in the market that does not come out well at the end just like what we have seen so far.

Every unnecessary spike in price usually come with a crash most especially when it is not a sustained one or nothing serious driving the value except speculation and FOMO. Steady growth on the other hand is more like having a much matured market with everything going on smoothly and the greed factor being limited.
873  Economy / Economics / Re: Five reasons 2018 could be the best year yet for cryptocurrencies. on: May 08, 2018, 02:20:31 PM
Regulations, institutional investors, very great projects and so on are really crucial for the future of the market but for me, this is just a beginning of something very big, expecting 2018 to be best year is not reasonable.
Yeah, the real beginning of something superb. I am pretty sure the whole ecosystem would have changed a whole lot by this time with massive adoption that could come as a result of regulation, like you said, high level of investors stepping into the space and so many more. Which I am sure this is the thing we are all looking forward to anyway and the things we will get to see over time.

I cannot say how 2018 would be like but I am sure we will start getting to know how the future is going to be playing out from this year on.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can the ICO scams be identified? on: May 07, 2018, 08:12:52 PM
Next time try to google things you want to ask as I am sure that this question was already answered by many sources out there, even you have some very similar topics on this forum regarding your question...

For instance here is your answer that I easily found on cryptocompare: https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/guides/how-to-avoid-scam-icos/
The problem with a lot of new investors or those in this community is they cannot just do some research to be able to give an answer to their own question and this is why they always end up a victim of these so called scammers until they realize how foolish they have been for being allowed to be played. A lot of investors focus mainly on the idea of the project and forgetting if there is actually a team that can pull it off or if there is a product on ground and this is where they always miss it.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading on: May 07, 2018, 07:03:42 PM
That's so called day trading, with $358.60 I'll implore you to invest in bitcoin, it has a very less risk and has the ability to give rise to profit in minutes, you can start trading bitcoin I'm sure you will gather 2x your capital within some days.

you are right, thats called day trading
but, in my opinion day trading is not good in crypto investments
i advice you to choose a coins with have a good future and hold it for long period time
because crypto is good for long term  Wink
Anyone who is daytrading should always be ready to be set out for some pretty huge loss if they do not have any knowledge at all. Considering the nature of the market and how easily they can get screwed, no one without knowledge much about the market or trading should even be considering making any move.

A lot have lost their little savings when they could just watch it grow in their wallet and that is what happens to anyone who is just looking for the easy way out without knowing all the conditions attached. ifthe OP insists anyway, Bitcoin, Eth, LTC and some other high volume coins should be his target.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: May 07, 2018, 05:34:55 PM
No one knows which coin will explode in 2018 or after that,it all depends on the market situation. If you invest on the altcoin it also comes with great risks because many altcoin will lose its value in years, but coin like DOGE is in the use for long so it might b a safe coin to invest.BUt I always go with bitcoin and investing on altcoin is just wasting of time in my opinion.

I'm beginning to read people having hope in doge coin , I'm being surprised about it but it will be nice.

On the other side you are saying you think altcoin is waste of time but dogecoin is also altcoin.
What most people are not understanding with altcoin is that they are more like a speculative instrument which is more like in and out all the time and most people are only use this medium to increase what they are holding in the long run which is something no one should place so much of their mind on unless they are just so sure of the coin they are holding to have an extremely explosive future with respect to growth.

As long as it is making money for them, shit or not, you will just find people trading them for profit (short term) ?
877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy bitcoin! on: May 05, 2018, 04:52:23 PM
Buy always when the market is red and sell when it’s green. Follow this rule of thumb.
It is funny that when the price was mooning last year, a lot of people were asking if they should buy and now that is way low and at the ground level, some are still asking when to buy. I would simply say they should wait till in the next few years when they finally get what they want. The idea is to buy and hold for the long term as long as you keep seeing the great potentials for the future, but I guess greed is just going to keep blinding people in making decisions on the way up and on the way down.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ? on: May 04, 2018, 05:44:01 PM
At the moment, I hоld the coin for 3 months and got 4 times more, and some coins have a much better performance.
Also, I always believe holding with some level of wisdom is way much better and in that case whenever there is an unnecessary FOMO one should always know when to call it a day for such investment and look for better position to buy back in the future. The market always have one behavior, it is more like money interchanging in between bitcoin into altcoin and into fiat as long as traders are going to keep making huge profits from all these.
879  Economy / Economics / Re: Prices will some day fluctuate less? on: May 02, 2018, 07:24:01 PM
Do you think that someday the prices for Bitcoin will fluctuate less and ppl will be able to use more as a currency, and not only as a form of investment?
Yeah, that is definite but not very soon and we cannot know if this will even be the case in the next decade or even more. The thing here is with a larger market cap, the prices of a market actually would be fluctuating less and that is when we will end up seeing more of a matured market than some pretty huge volatile market that we have today.

With bitcoin fluctuating less, we would have gotten to the stage of mass adoption as currency usage already and by then; I can imagine what the value would have been like.
880  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: May 02, 2018, 05:08:53 PM
I've seen the proof that this bitcoin business is very lucrative and profitable, some of my friends who have been playing Bitcoin for a long time, the average of them have become successful people! it also motivates me to join and join this bitcoin world. and I hope to be like them, who have been playing Bitcoin for a long time. successful, rich, have a luxury car and all the needs of his life fulfilled even can be said more.
It is even a good thing that a lot of people can even be able to find something pretty useful to do with their life just due to bitcoins. A lot of people in low income countries, so many people who do not even have a job to cater for them-selves, have been able to find one way or the other to benefit from this space. Also, for early adopters who never really imagined things to turn out this way have been able to build a whole lot for themselves and create more opportunities for more people to get huge benefit from the community.
