It looks like this fight is going to be moved on November 25 at it will be in the undercard of Benavidez vs Andrade.

https://twitter.com/MikeCoppinger/status/1712893339123499448

I think it's good though, at least they will have the exposure as a undercard or co-main event. Fans will surely see how this this fighters are made are. I mean we really don't know about them to be honest, but from the looks of it, they could be the potential star of boxing.

And being under another great fight in Benavidez vs Andrade, the exposure will really bring them closer to boxing fans.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: October 14, 2023, 02:11:20 AM
Here is the kick off press conference:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXgLd0gCEZY

No trash talking between the two, they give each other respect. Even the dad of David is giving credit for Andrade being a Olympic and a great boxer.

Hopefully this can live up to the hype. Two undefeated boxers, maybe the winner getting Canelo next for the undisputed belt. Let's see how David will respond against a southpaw in Andrade.

Yes, there is mutual respect between the two sides, however, we all know that during fight night, this two will like to try to get each other heads off so for sure at one point all their respect will be thrown out of the window. But I do agree that this is a great fight, as compare to Canelo picking up a 154 lbs champion and make him come in weight and fight in at his best at 168 lbs. Both Benavidez and Andrade are undefeated, both are champions, Andrade 154 lbs and 160 lbs and seems that no one wanted to face or avoided him.

But Benavidez really has some balls to call and willing to challenge Demetrius so this is going to be one hell of a fight. I do think and for sure everyone will agree that Benavidez has the advantage if terms of power here. But Andrade will pose a challenge because he is a lefty and very slick and moves a lot. While Benavidez is flat footed so he might have a hard time cutting the distance. But if Benavidez lands that one big punch, it might be over in an instant.

Thank you for the kind advice

I provided internal screenshot, password and address last deposit came from.  Still no response

"Daniel Evans" is not accepting pm's on here from "newbies"

Not sure why they are treating me like this, funds I sent over were fine, cleared properly etc and it should be a simple matter for them to just approve the withdrawal
that I originally requested and is sitting pending because I can't access the (now deleted) email account

All the best

Maybe just give them a couple days and see how it goes. Perhaps they are looking at it internally and what went wrong and what could be the solution in your problem.

In any case, they have what we call a ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2897545.0.

You can post your issues there and hopefully they will reply.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: October 14, 2023, 01:07:41 AM
We have to imagine some life mystery as we are living, have you asked yourself of investment profit and investment loss. The mystery is behind the both when it occurs. Right now I'm thinking to myself of my investment and if only investment i have is bitcoin, and when I'm no more who will manage my bitcoin investment and how will my family know about my bitcoin investment, when  I was ill, I was asking myself series of questions in my mind.

> should I show my family my seed phrase ?
> If I die who will take over my bitcoin since nobody knows my seed phrase?

So I'm asking if it will be good to show any of your family person your seed phrase or should we keep having the secret of your seed phrase personal.

You are the one that can answer it, whether you let your family or at least your wife or your partner in your little secret about Bitcoin and the seed phrase. And that is if you really trust her to give everything even if you are still alive.

As far as your second question, maybe you can dig on this old threads here:

865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 13, 2023, 06:50:52 PM
These will usually depend on the individual's own will to gamble at work outside and in the office, where you have to do everything yourself and be under the control of the boss if there is an obsession with gambling it will have a negative effect on work. Both will cause harm at work when gambling becomes addictive gambling at work can get out of control. Along with the negative social consequences associated with business serious social and financial problems arise. That is why it is better to take your office work seriously without putting yourself in harm's way at work.

I think more than that, it's the mental effect on us gamblers. Assuming that you are working, of course you will do everything in that 8 hours of your job. And after that, maybe you can think of your gambling activity and that's where the problem starts. Specially as the OP described or any other threads here in this board, after a big lost, some of us suffer some health issues, whether it was just in our brain or physical issues.

So it's really very difficult for gamblers to overcome this kind of mental problems. I for one, will have also have to go to this kind of unpleasant feeling. But I have to fight it out because I know that I have work to do the next morning. So I just usually play on weekends so that even If I don't feel like going out of bed early morning, it will be just ok on my end and my job are not going to be affected.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 13, 2023, 05:40:59 PM
I met a friend who used about $1 to play gamble to win about $2500 in a game of different matches, all the early games went well but the last game cut which made him loose the game.  This lose made him to be sick for 3 days, the reason for his reaction was not because of the money he used to bet but he felt so bad because he has already put all his hope on the money he would have won.

Oh that is the danger of parlay betting, it's very complex kind of betting system, and believed me, you will not feel good after a close win. Imagine the odds of betting $1 to hit $2500? You really need to be perfect and I will assume that your friend could have a minimum 5 - 10 bets to win successively in order to get that $2500. So the chances are very slim but sports bookies are not going to tell you that. So it has a big effect on his mental health perhaps he is already thinking of that win already on his mind.

People needs not to put all their hope in games they are not sure of winning, because relying on it can be very dangerous to the mental health. Play gamble and remove your mind from the money that will be gained till it is achieved.

As I have said, very slim chance to win, of course, there can be gamblers that can magically hit it, but it's not going to happen everyday. And unfortunately, your friend has to experienced it the bad way. So it might be recommended that your friend should stick with just one single bet and maybe that will be his best strategy and not target X amount of returns in a parlay.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: October 13, 2023, 05:40:17 AM
I think it will still a go though for Casimero vs Inoue, that is, if the camp of Inoue will be interested on the Filipino base on what he shows against the sparring partner of Inoue in Oguni. I'll give the first round to Casimero as he caught and wobbled Oguni in that round. And same in the second round, although Oguni tried to have the fight in his phase and own game but Casimero fighting some good shots from time to time. Unfortunately, it ended in a technical draw because of the clash of heads. And as per the judges scorecard, two judge has Casimero ahead by score of 29-28 and the other judges had it Oguni with the same score. It's just too bad that it has to end this way, as the fight is shaping to be a good fight as neither boxers is not backing up although from what I see Casimero is ahead on my card. But I do agree with the concerns of some of the boxing fans here, seems that Casimero doesn't have the gas tank or maybe he still has problems with the climate when he arrives in Japan and wasn't able to adjust.

And on the undercard:

Quote
Upset in Tokyo, Japan! Former world championship contender Froilan Saludar (34-7-1) 🇵🇭 surprises Keita Kurihara 栗原慶太 (17-8-1) 🇯🇵 and stops him in the very first round.

869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tszyu vs. Mendoza Confirmed for WBO Title Showdown on October 15th on: October 11, 2023, 01:30:14 AM
For those who are interested on who will be the judge as we might be talking some home town decision, the judges are:

(a) Australia (Adam Height)
(b) Hungary (Zoltan Enyedi)
(c) Japan (Katsuhiko Nakamura)

Judges Enyedi and Nakamura has worked or scored Tim's previous fight against Harrison. While Australian Height hasn't scored any fight of Tim.

The third person in the ring will be the familiar US referee - Kenny Bayless.

Latest odds put Mendoza by a huge 5:1 underdog.

So for those who think that Mendoza has a shot against Tim Tszyu, this is the right time to bet on him as the odds are very attractive.

872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]Adrien Broner vs Chris Howard (Welterweight) Nov 4. . on: October 10, 2023, 09:37:31 AM
Pacman didn't do much damage to him but Maidana humiliate Broner more which I thought he'd actually stop fighting after that fight. Broner considerably has a good record though despite his showboating that end up badly.

He is fighting an unknown boxer. I tried watching Chris on youtube he seem a slugger. A perect pair for Broner.

Absolutely, it was a defining moment in his career when Maidana defeated him. Broner seemed overly confident as he entered the ring, underestimating Maidana, who had already given Mayweather a run for his money in their first encounter (which was a controversial fight).

As a boxing fan, no one will really forget how Maidana beat and dominated Broner back then. It was one of the worst beating for that year and Broner was never the same after that. But he is still arrogant and boastful after that and seemingly can't accept that he was defeated. And he was supposedly the next Mayweather, AB (About Billions)  Grin was his monicker. But after his defeat, his relationship with Floyd went sour and he was out from TMT (Team Money Train) of Floyd. Not only his boxing career went down, if I'm not mistaken he also has some sexual battery case and has been arrested.

As for Broner, he's still in the fight game, but it's evident that he's approaching the twilight of his career. Nevertheless, watching him in action is always entertaining. Broner's not just a fighter; he's quite the showman, especially during face-offs. He's known for his trash talk, and that adds another layer of excitement to the whole spectacle. Let's tune in and enjoy the drama!

He is already on the twilight of his career, he is no longer in his prime although he is very lucky that he still has been given this kind of fights, specially he got a big paycheck on the Manny Pacquiao sweepstakes that time. And even if he wins here against a no name fighter, it won't resurrect his career anymore. And just like any other aging boxers, they are just fighting for the paycheck and try to squeeze as much as they can before they retire.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not keeping records makes me a bad gambler? on: October 10, 2023, 07:05:34 AM
Good day crypto Famz, I will like to ask gamblers this question, is there any gamblers on here that keeps record of their wins and losses? Do you keep a record of all the pennies you use to gamble and also the result?

Nah, it's hard to record the number of wins and losses, unless you bet on a online platform. But if you go to land case casinos, then there's no way you can track of everything. On the other hand, why do we really need to know though? I'm just curious. Because for me, if you gamble and that money is allotted for that, then win or lose, that is going to be ok.

Someone whom we both have this discuss yesterday said this is a good practice, I still don't see a reason why because I don't keep record of my losses, I tend to only remember when I win a certain amount, if its good enough you won't easily forget, but apart from this I don't care.

Yes, same for me, I just have some numbers in my head, but I don't really jotted down everything in a log or notepad or something.

So Famz, is there any benefits when one keeps record on their losses and wins? Is there any thing to gain when you write down all the money you spent in gambling and also how much you have made so far?

Not keeping records, does this make me a bad gambler?

Perhaps if he had records though, maybe it's one reason why he will quit specially if he see the records and he is losing big amount of money. Something to pounder upon maybe when you are alone and think that maybe it's time to really stop this gambling for good.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: October 09, 2023, 01:05:58 PM
And most likely that's why we wanted to see first if Nery can win against Casimero before going to Inoue. This two are well known trash talkers so it will be a great and interesting fight. Both of them are power punchers, so they are proud and wanted to knock each other out. And so I'm not surprised on what you describe on Nery.

Maybe have tried to undermined the Japanese and I think we do see it before. Just like in the case of Manny Pacquiao wherein guys like Ricky Hatton, Oscar Dela Hoya, Margarito or even Miguel Cotto doesn't consider Manny the monster that time, but they all eat their words as Pacquiao wins by KO/total beatdown and dominated them.

What we read probably isn't true; it's likely just a marketing technique to get people invested in their story. As for Inoue, he's at the top, so challengers are normal to throw trash talk at him to get noticed. But I agree with you that Nery vs. Casimero should fight first, and the winner will have a chance to face Inoue. I guess Casimero vs. Nery is also a 50/50 match, so if Casimero dominates, I think he deserves to face Inoue.

Agree. Fighters wanted attention so many of them resorted to trash-talking with some of them even tried to act like they were underestimating the guy but they knew the real situation. Pacquiao was actually the betting favorite over Hatton, Margo, and Cotto so those guys knew they were in for a hell of a night. It's just that Margo has a big mouth so he tried to act in front of the media that Pacman will lose. Only the De La Hoya fight where Pacquiao became a huge underdog since he moved up 3 divisions in less than a year which was crazy.

I think it's more of this fighters or their trainers underestimating Manny Pacquiao. They also said that he has the left hand. But Hatton was knockdown successively in that fight with a right now and then the left finished him off. Dela Hoya thinks that his height does matter, but he was already shot when he fought Manny and can't pull the trigger anymore as per Freddie Coach. While Margo, took the worst beating of them all, he as so macho personified that he thinks he can just uses his height and weight advantage, the bigger guy. But Manny was too fast for him that he might have regretted his decision to continue because his face was reconstructed. The good thing though is that after years of the fight, he think that Manny was no in way using any performance enhancing drug, when being ask by one Mexican reporter.

Anyway, I want Casimero to get the winner of Inoue-Tapales since the Nery fight is too risky unless it's a title eliminator which guarantees the winner a title fight. And the fight should not happen in Mexico. Casimero-Nery would be a guaranteed war and it could be 50/50 or something close.

Yes, we wanted the winner facing Casimero next, assuming the John Riel winning against Oguni. But it make sense as well to see Casimero vs Nery going for a like title eliminator as you have said, winner facing Inoue. And I like that fight because as you have describe it, going to be war and who will see if Nery can handle the power of Inoue at 122 lbs.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Crypto Execs Confident SEC Will Approve Spot Bitcoin ETFs on: October 09, 2023, 10:39:36 AM
@FinneysTrueVision. Thank you and agreed. I was also looking for the source in their websites and on google. I cannot find them, however. This might be paid for tweets from whales who might be trying to hype everyone before they start dumping on out faces again?

Yeah, it's possible that we might see some whales or entities that wanted to push for SEC to approve the Spot Bitcoin ETF. So I wouldn't be surprised if there is such an army at the same time there could also be at the other side of the spectrum creating FUD around.

It might be inevitable though that approval is coming, just a matter of time for Gensler to give it a green light. And I think that there is huge pressure on SEC right now as obviously, the biggest name in the financial industry are putting everything they can to be in this space. If this happens then we can say that crypto is here to stay and no one can stop it.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to play Poker with bitcoin and altcoins? on: October 09, 2023, 10:11:44 AM
Surprisingly, Crypto poker hasn't boomed the way I was expecting it to. Had a fairly decent start with sealswithclubs that turned into swc and now, im not sure what's going on with them. Nitrogen Sports had poker inbuilt into their platform as well but I used to find them a bit fishy. Stopped playing poker completely after bad exprience with Nitrogen and that's pretty much about it. Reintroduced via coin poker, experience has been decent so far.

I do agree with SWC, when it was introduced in this forum years back, I think there were a lot of buzz on it. I still even remember that they have a local version of Poker from the Philippines known as "Pusoy" or something like that. But really sure what happen though, this is pre-pandemic and prior the the influx of huge casinos that we have right now, I guess the competition might be one reason why suddenly it went death. As for Nitro, I might be wrong, but there's also one casino that have been accused of colluding in a poker table, either bots or insider from the casino itself, and yeah, it's very fishy and I think it's one accusation that really put the spotlight on Nitro and that's why they rebranded itself.  Although there could be some casinos that will sponsor like a poker game again as this is also popular here back in the days.

877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Popular Themes for Online Slot on: October 09, 2023, 09:48:42 AM
I'm more interested in trying online slots based on Chinese-related themes.

Either a Chinese Dragon, Chinese Buddha, their calligraphy, Chinese font style, etc.

I don't know and there's no explanation for it but playing at these themes is like giving me more chances of winning either we all know that in reality, whatever the online slot theme is, our fate still depends on our luck and not anything else. Just hope for the best. Smiley

But I will say that Chinese related themes dominated the slot games, my favorites currently are:

(a) duo fu duo cai
(b) jin jin bao

Well probably it's because that the Chinese has traditionally is very superstitious that's why almost of the Chinese related thems are very attractive and we wanted to try our luck and hope for the best.

And the jackpot as well are huge, seen a lot of videos on social media wherein with just a small bet, the player won the grand jackpot.

There's even a version of mahjong as well, either 2 way or 3 way slot machine games.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: October 09, 2023, 08:47:18 AM
I am in awe of Benavidez's rapid punches they are crisp and hard for a big man, and he loves to go inside and impose his size and weight, Benavidez suffers his first knockdown against Gavril but it was a flash knockdown and he's not even hurt, there's no fighter that has dominated Benavidez he always dominate all his fight and I don't see why he cannot dominate Andrade.
I like to see a Canelo - Banvidez match than a Canelo - Andrade fight and I'm sure Benavidez will not fail the boxing community who expect him to knock out Andrade.

If we look at the recent video of Benavidez firing rapid punches, yeah, you will be at awe at his hands spend as a big man. And we have seen his doing that as well during in real fight. Not just the speed though, the power behind that punch is really very scary that if it hits someone, for sure he will either get knockout or David scoring that knockdown in that fight.

And it's very interesting what David's father said in Canelo vs Charlo, He said that the power of Canelo is no longer. Anyhow, it's really hard not to talk about Canelo vs Benavidez future fight though. That is what the boxing fans want, and hopefully in the bigger picture we will see that fight happening in the future and hopefully that Canelo is willing to fight another Mexican again to defend his belt and he has no other choice as well specially if the young David Benavidez won this fight.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: October 08, 2023, 03:18:44 AM

Going back to the Tapales, the only thing I heard is that he should used his awkwardness if there is as such tactic in boxing. And be somewhat unpredictable so that Inoue will somewhat be confused. But I don't see it enough to upset the monster. Unless Tapales landed a perfect punch and then Inoue can't recover from it. The only one that can beat Inoue here is himself, if he slacks on training and underestimated Tapales.

I don't really think Tapales is capable of beating Inoue even to survive up to the last round is a miracle for him because he is too slow for Inoue and he will take those power punches as if he is a punching bag. looks like he will be just like Charlo when he fights Canelo, he will just try to survive unless he has the power to shake Inoue but in reality, he does not and it might be just an easy win for Inoue, easier when he beats Fulton. If only Casimero holding those belts, it would be a fight of the year when they finally meet against each other inside the ring.

I really hope that Tapales has the power to earn Inoue's respect. Or maybe it is better if Inoue won't respect his power so we will see how it goes if Tapales lands his strongest hooks. I think Tapales has the power to shake Inoue if the Japanese underestimate his power and focus on getting the knockout.

Tapales has decent power, so if he can hit Inoue flash on the mouth, maybe he will feel the power and respect Marlon in their fight. I'm watching some highlights of Tapales fight and he really seems to be a thinking fighter. I mean he will read his opponent before making an attack and doesn't over commit, let's say like Manny when he throws his left, most of the time he will lunge making a huge opening for his opponent to counter. But not Marlon Tapales, maybe his ring IQ is underrated for know but we will obviously see it against the Monster. Yes, we know that Tapales chances are very slim to almost none against Inoue, but that's what they said on him against Akhmadaliev. Although I'm seeing that Inoue will work on Marlon's body, to try and slow him down or maybe even score a body blow.

880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 08, 2023, 02:41:03 AM
^^ Wasn't able to watch the fight mate, but it was a great fight as from what I read.

Leigh Wood was behind from the judges scorecard and can't seem to find his rhythm while the underdog Warrington keep pushing the phase with his volume punching. But when everything seems to be not going on the way of Wood, but suddenly he scored a dramatic knockout in the 7th round. Denying Warrington a 3rd time for the featherweight belt.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptbrbzTFduU

Man, they were both running on fumes by the end, but Leigh Wood landed that killer shot that had Warrington on shaky legs. And he couldn't catch a break from the bell! Talk about an entertaining brawl, the crowd was totally hyped.

Honestly, I've been missing this kind of action. I mean, I caught the highlights you shared, and it was a blast to watch.

So what's next for Leigh Wood?

Yes, they are domestic rivals so it's really good to see that this fighters didn't left out anything and just throw bombs thru the first seven rounds and it seems the Warrington has the upper hand early because we all know that he uses volume punching as his main weapon to throw his opponent. And Wood really has nothing to offer early because of the akwardness of Warrington and the way he throw his bombs. But unfortunately, Josh can't maintain that phase without him being open for counter and that's what happen in the last few seconds of the seventh round. But I really though that the referee will just let this continue because it was at the bell and it's unfortunate that he didn't let this fight to continue. Because at least he will have a minute to recover in the corner. But I guess he saw that Josh is already badly damage and it's just a matter of time before he would be dangerously knockout cold by Leigh Wood.
