861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst story continues again. on: February 26, 2019, 03:45:31 PM
i did not expect a bull run and therefore it was clear to me that the prices would not rise any further. it was still good to see that the prices can rise and not just fall. that is why i have hope in the crypto market that he will eventually recover from the bear time.
It would be very strange if the bull came now, the market is simply not ready for this, I think many understood that the growth is temporary, and big plans were built by those who in the crypto currency not so long ago and are not accustomed to such rapid UPS and downs in prices
I think that those who are not traders while the market only follows the interactions of bitcoin buyers and sellers, when traders are ready to buy bitcoin and the interaction at the place of exchange starts to rise by showing higher trading volumes, the bull run will easily occur.

Yeah and that's what i've been telling people all this time. A few hundred dollars up in a week is not by far an indication that the bulls have returned. I wouldn't even be surprised if we don't have a bull run this year. There will be less people jumping in on fomo this time compared to 2017.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you are deceived? on: February 26, 2019, 03:42:58 PM
When we are lied to, there is not much we can do. As a merchant and bounty hunter, if fraud occurs I would be better to immediately look for another project. And for ICO search, then you must be careful and do research. And that will be my experience.

Right. No sense in running after the bounty manager or developer since it's pointless. Best to just put it all under you, move on and be productive. That's the nature of bounties and before you sign up for a campaign you should already be aware of the risks. Better to move forward than to cry over spilled milk.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dead cat bounce or the start of bull market? on: February 26, 2019, 03:37:37 PM
After a long correction, Crypto should have started to recover itself. Because many traders predict that Bitcoin prices will rise, and last week there was a slight pump at binance. However, I myself am still relaxed waiting until mid-2019.
I think mid-2019 will be a terrible period for this market. The market has begun to recover but it will soon collapse in the following months. At the end of 2019 I believe the market will grow strongly
I also believe that market has to completely die before the new cycle could start. This is the theory of cycles and we met all criterias, but only dead phase (phase without daily volumes) is still missing.
Not sure about that this time bitcoin is even stronger than before and the fact that the last bounce was a dead cat bounce. The dead means if all of crypto worth zero value and that's not the main point.

You think there'll be a dead phase at this point in time? We've probably bottomed out at 3.2k this year and with the pace this market is moving, it's probably a slow recovery. Not a dead cat bounce and not, by far, a bull run.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the current situation on the market? on: February 26, 2019, 03:34:19 PM
In my opinion the crypto market still stagnan for afew month because there no new money come in to this market, some people afraid to enter to cypto because the price so high volatility and there are some price manipulation. After this long bearish the crypto market will change to bullish, and i predict we will see next bull market in the end if this year because more institutional investor will enter in to crypto.

Well i wouldn't really call the current state stagnant since there have been a couple of big drops and rise the last week. Remember we traded above 4k already when we dropped back to 3.7k in just a few hours. Though we're likely getting back on track and it's likely that any movement from here would be slow and boring.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if 5 head of the big country are Cryptocurrency supporters? on: February 26, 2019, 03:30:42 PM
So imagine you have 5 heads of the top country in the world  a firm believer of cryptocurrency do you think it will fasttract adoption of cryptocurrency, imagine the head of USA, CHINA, JAPAN FRANCE, GREAT BRITAIN are a firm believer of Cryptocurrency do you think it's the start of something huge for the crypto community.

Well of course their decision would be a big influence to other countries especially those who still are against crypto use. The fact that you included china would already be a big boost since most of these 5 countries ypu've mentioned aren't really against crypto except for china. It's going to be a big step towards mass adoption.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency has come to stay on: February 26, 2019, 03:16:10 PM
Crypto is definitely here for good. If it was a waste of time it would have fizzled out within the first year but instead its growing all the time, year after year, with hundreds of new coins being launched every year.
Well, the time will come and all these coins that are constantly appearing in our market will fail ... people just  have not yet understood that nobody needs them
For 10 years, the cryptocurrency is gradually gaining momentum and does not think to slow down, so why should the coins turn into garbage? You can see what a huge capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency, just so it does not turn into 0

On the contrary, the longer crypto stays, the more people will understand that it will be essential nd probably necessary in the future. Forget about the value of coins and the up and down prices, the use of blockchain will push innovations way ahead and with that will be crypto for better transactions.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: February 26, 2019, 02:01:52 PM
Regulating the ICOs are not possible but there are some guidelines issued by SEC to approve ICOs but still no ICOs were following that regulations.

It should be regulated but not sure about how it can be done because this is decentralized market, any one can create their tokens and start selling it.

Well yeah i don't think it's a quiestion whether it should or not since icos are very prone to scams and fraud. Although people should already be wary if they're to invest or not, with the number of scams in the past, governments should find a way to efficiently implement their regulations on icos.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen Now for ETH? on: February 26, 2019, 01:52:57 PM
At the end of 2018, Ethereum did go down to number 3 and was skipped by XRP. At that time the condition was quite worrying that Ethereum reached under $ 100. But entering 2019 the market looks good and until now Ethereum can return to number 2. With this pattern continuing, I think the Crypto market can recover.
but it still worries Ethereum, because he is not too strong to grow so he still often goes up and down.
the market is not yet stable, making it difficult to move.
Ethereum has great potential so that it can definitely rise again and grow taller but requires a process to increase its value, because it is not easy to restore it again.
You need to denote ethereum as it not as 'he'. Smiley

Why it still in worries, the prices reached nearly 50% in the last two months while is a huge growth in my opinion.

Right. I think it already regained it's second spot in marketcap so i don't think eth holders have anything to worry about esecially if they're into long term. With the large community of eth supporters out there and with the project itself already being used, it'll stay as a top alt for a very long time.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone agrees that bitcoin rise will help the all crypto currencies to rise? on: February 26, 2019, 01:48:51 PM
Bitcoin is the heart of cryptocurrencies, the question is illogical as everyone knows the entire Alts follow BTC, crypto market is still dependent on BTC I can clearly state that without a doubt. Else we could have seen changes in the Alts, well a lot of them are eagerly waiting to see a pump and hopefully it will recover very soon.

Indeed, bitcoin is main currency and thats why bitcoin affecting on others crypto price. Most exchanger using bitcoin as main pairs and altcoin price depend on bitcoin fluctuation.
Well not all of course but majority of the market does follow btc's trend. Just look at the recent correction 2 days ago. The market was doing fine but was then dragged in the red when btc dropped below 4k again. They react to how btc moves and that's been proven for the longest time.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money? on: February 26, 2019, 01:46:10 PM
it used to be back in 2017 that you only needed to have a website and nothing else to raise millions of dollars out of thin air because the market at that time was filled with a lot of foolish people.
but slowly they all went out or realized their foolishness. nowadays nobody trusts any ICO anymore.

The advertisement strategy is importat on raising fuds through ICO,

again it used to work like this, but people stopped falling for the scam so they can no longer succeed no matter how much they try.
Didn't talk about the scam projects, even the legit projects needs advertisements plans or they won't get enough recognization which will result in prject failure as well.

Well whether it's scam or legitimate, the money coming in to icos considerably decreased over time mainly because of people being more doubtful and wary. I think you can still raise funds through icos but not close to how much you'll be able to raise 2 or 3 years back.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: February 26, 2019, 01:31:48 PM
Interesting idea. I believe that only those people who are confident in their future earnings remained on the crypto market. All those who came on the wave of big money, have long recorded losses and left. Now the most resistant people will be rewarded in the future.

Well they'd be back. The thing is, people don't have that much understanding of crypto yet aside from getting easy money from bitcoin, which clearly is far from what crypto really is. The value now is not how you gauge your investment. Crypto has real use in the real world. I think we should consider that as well.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Somehow tired of bounty/airdrop (share your story on this thread) on: February 26, 2019, 01:22:10 PM
I got tired on bounty campaign coming from ICO that is the reason I shift to Bitcoin casino campaign, it's not worth doing a campaign at this point of time, one of the campaigns I've done I only managed to earn $5 after 3 months of a campaign I think majority of the bounty hunters has this issue also.
Yes, it is not worth it for us to participate in the bounty during this period. We will waste a lot of time and will not get anything from bounty. The most recent campaign I participated in was at the end of August 2018 and until now I still haven't received a token from that project

Well for bounties mostly you're get tokens from icos and it's very seldom that these tokens have high value after their release. And sometimes the ico dies before getting into an exchange. It's a gamble unless the bounty includes certain amounts of btc or eth along with the tokens.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: February 26, 2019, 01:19:02 PM
Now is a good time to buy coins because the price is decreasing. I think the market will suddenly pump again after the price falls. I think instead of holding a coin, you better do short-term trading. Because this unstable price situation can generate profits.

That can be appliccable for some but not for all though. Actively trading can be a one miss you die  deal and many of us don't have the experience or skill to be efficient in a highly fluctuating market. Though whether you can do that or just opt to hodl, it's always important to keep your cool. That's how you keep your emotions in check to avoid making sudden bad decisions.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you bet? on: February 25, 2019, 05:00:07 PM
Im just curioused about this one. How do you people bet?

Is it low risk and low price or higher risk with a full jackpot price?

For me i prefer mix. Low bets with low price at first and i will change my strategy based on what ive got. If i win, i change to high risk high price. If not then i continue to that lowkey betting.

How about you?

I've never been the one to go all in on gambling in general unless i'm drunk. Small bets that will use up a lot of time is preferred since i usually gamble only to pass time. And i can't afford to spend a lot of money in something that has no assurance.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: February 25, 2019, 04:58:00 PM
There is a huge difference in the playstyle that Jordan used to play and in which Lebron James plays right now. Opinions may differ on the way that they like to see basketball been played. I don't blame any of my counterparts and I respect if they believe so. For me, they are both great players that have given us amazing times in the NBA.
his popularity was twice the one of Lebron today.
Whether you are a Jordan fan or not, that was a fact Smiley. One of the proofs is that his name never fades in the basketball industry until now. Every famous all star players of this generation are still compared to him as if he is the standard to be followed lol. Oh! I forgot, he is the only player who got a very own shoe brand, that one definitely speaks a lot.

Well one thing is that jordan's plays and basketball thinking is adapted to his generation. That's why you really can't compare. Yeah the nba probably was tougher back then and that's why mj had to adapt and he was really the best in that time. Take lbj to that era and for sure we'll see a different lebron from what we're seeing now. Comparisons are useless if they're not on the same playing field.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies (beliefs) on: February 25, 2019, 04:22:20 PM
None.

Strategies are useless if you are not lucky enough when you gamble. Some may say that you must wear this kind of clothes or get a lucky charm since they believe that they will win in gambling but I don't believe in that beliefs. If I will win then its good but if if I will lose then its good too. I don't use any strategies too. Data analysis helps me in gambling when I gamble in sports.

Wearing certain color of clothes and thinking you will win are just superstitions and one beliefs and it has nothing to do with reality. Lets suppose one person believe that if he wear black shirt, he will win. Maybe he win it few times and therefore his belief become more strong on it. In reality this has nothing to do with winning or losing.
We all knew that, it's just adding some psychological beliefs that from doing such they will add some luck to their gambling activities,
but one thing is for sure, there's nothing that will be added im the real essence, gambling is always be for your luck and your enjoyment
after that there's nothing else can be added.

Having Psychological beliefs is ok but what make this belief more strong is that when few times due to this psychological beliefs and act, you started wining in real. This makes them believe that if they follow the same act again and again, luck will always favor them.

Coinsidence. This is what boosts superstitions like this and it can be good for emotional confidence or bad if the person relies heavily in it. Planning can be important as well. Not so much in winning a wager but how you'll handle the money you put to the table.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So, Crypto Market ALL RED Again!! on: February 25, 2019, 04:19:32 PM
I'm not surprised anymore. To me, this is just a normal cycle in crypto market and i believe some people must be happy with such condition as they can load more at the price that they considered as the bottom.

I myself am a person who uses the situation of this market movement. luckily I wasn't left behind when the market continued to rise yesterday and finally fell. I sold some of my assets when I went up yesterday and now maybe I will buy them back with more.
This is exactly what we need to do now, because such UPS and downs, apparently, we will observe most of this year, on such fluctuations, you can earn good money

This is when people are already talking about a bull run brewing lol. I thought the market will have a correction like this soon instead of continuing its uptrend since there's really no solid reason yet for us to assume the bulls are here. I wasn't able to make profit from last night but i wasn't planning to short anyways.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL HODL portfolio on: February 25, 2019, 04:15:57 PM
Hold is indeed done to be able to get big profits later. but sometimes we also have to make sales to be able to control our finances. the point of all is that we have done our investment plan beforehand so that we are not wrong in making decisions

Flexibility is the key. That's why it's important to have a plan formulated that you can tweak in response to certain market movements. Hodling for me is still the best option if you're keeping top coins like btc and eth but you still have to have an exit plan eventually.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 25, 2019, 04:13:25 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?
Marketcap is bigger and bigger? And where did you see it? Cryptocurrencies are falling down for about 1 year and money has gone from crypto-market, there are no new investors, no new money in the market!
Now begin to come a new investor. No need to sow panic, many players and tech is not easy now. Wink
It's easy when you can understand it perfectly. The market still not yet finds its best fundamental to support the price to get the bullish trend or this is just another kind of bulltrap that created by the whale.
I'm one who stuck actually on last bull trap, i think price already moved and then bull trap come. But now crypto price dumped a lot and hope market still have support to defend it so it not dumped more.

It is completely open where the market will go next. Nobody can predict it with certainty and those who claim to be able are just lying. Markets are what markets are, and that is unpredictable for sure in the short term.

Well trading and investing is basically a game of patience and waiting so you really can't get tired if you want to gain from this market. There are several ways to let the bear season pass without losing interest. Unless of course the current trend took too much from you emotionally and financially. But other markets like forex and stocks also have this kind of movement.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sign of bull run? on: February 25, 2019, 04:09:09 PM
The green in the market may be a sign for the bull run, but it is still worthwhile to be cautious. We have experienced this situation several times and the market is red again. I hope this time the bull starts running.

Since December until now, I have been fooled by the market 3 times. The market is blue for a few weeks and then after a serious collapse, I am afraid that this time like other times, the market will collapse again.

Unfortunately we have been fooled by the market again. It was a false signal for us. The only thing to do for the moment is to wait and see what will happen and how the market will react.

Lol. Imagine my surprise yesterday when last i checked, btc was happily trading above 4k and then just a few hours later, it's down to 3.7k with the market in general glowing red. I guess that tells people that bull runs aren't easily initiated. We can't even sustain getting above 4k for now. Back to reality guys.
