881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC announces ether is not a security!!! on: June 15, 2018, 09:38:54 AM
this was a great opportunity to make a nice amount of profit in a very short time. as this announcement came out the altcoin rises started. in fact i bought some ethereum for this which i have already dumped for the profit.

it is always important to keep your eyes on news like this to take advantage of the dead cat bounces like this one. you just have to be careful not to miss the timing for your sells.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Ethereum be dumped to $300? on: June 15, 2018, 09:25:05 AM
I am going to buy Ethereum but i don't know when its price will be good to buy. I need your advices, thanks!

well when you buy in a bubble no price is ever going to be good. so it doesn't matter if it is $500 or $400 or $300 you are buying in a bubble and there is a huge risk that it will go down a lot suddenly.

but at the same time when you invest in a pump and dump you can always make profit in short term as it is pumped a little for example from $400 to $450 is a nice profit.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire Investor Tim Draper Explains Why Bitcoin Will Hit $250,000 in 2022 on: June 15, 2018, 09:10:09 AM
This talk is pure propaganda."It does not benefit you to listen to him"

to be fair, i remember back in 2014 how we used to make fun of draper. he was perpetually bullish and making outlandish forecasts in the middle of a brutal bear market.

turns out, he was one of the few vocal visionaries who have been spot on with their analysis. in 2014, he predicted that BTC would surpass $10k by 2017. he was right then and his fundamental analysis hasn't changed. so i wouldn't ignore his next prediction either.
I don't believe on the news honestly and I don't believe that he predicted that bitcoin will surpass $10k in 2017, what I heard from their prediction before is bitcoin can reach again back to $1k above

We don't know what will happen to bitcoin in the future, but I am expecting after another block halving we will experience a huge price increase after this event just like what happens after block halving last 2016 and I don't believe that bitcoin could reach more than $15k. So I think we can see a large improvement in the price after the block halving event.

one good thing about futuristic speculation like this is that you can always verify it with a fast google search. this is what most people who are spreading FUD forget. they think we forget about their bullshit if they change username Wink
https://www.coindesk.com/tim-draper-bitcoins-price-still-headed-10k/
the article was published in 2014.

to be fair people made fun of those who were saying bitcoin is headed to $10K back in 2013 when price reached $1200 just like we make fun of those who said bitcoin is headed to $50k-$100k when price reached $20k. of course bitcoin is headed to those prices but not as fast as those who are expecting it.
it takes longer, 250k by 2020 is not that unrealistic in my opinion. we will see the recovery possibly before 2018 ends or worst case scenario in 2019 and then we have the halving in 2020 which will definitely shoot the price up and it is 4 years of adoption which will increase the price by a lot.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: June 14, 2018, 09:19:00 AM
when it comes to altcoins and tokens that are around these days my answer is a big NO because they have no clear future ahead of them and in long term many of them are not even going to be around to justify holding them that long.
it all comes down to potential and risk and while altcoins have small potential of long term rises they have huge risks.
885  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin $50K by 2018, $100K by 2019 on: June 14, 2018, 09:07:30 AM

I think reaching $50k by year end is too much and your feeding us too much prediction without any references where you get those figures. We are all hoping for a higher value of bitcoin but It's like a bull trap for me.

it is not too much at all! we have had a much bigger rise last year. in the last month of the year alone price went up 100% so going to $50k is nothing compared to that and with the way bitcoin rallies have always happened.

but it won't happen only because the market is not ready for the rise. not because it is big.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take your Bitcoin out of exchanges now! on: June 14, 2018, 08:57:59 AM
The price of bitcoin is crashing because the price is being manipulated

Take your bitcoin out of the exchange.

it is one thing to tell people not to store their bitcoin on exchanges because of the risks but it is another thing to tell them to withdraw because price is crashing and being manipulated!!!

of course you need to always keep your bitcoins with you in a secure cold storage but when price is falling and IF you are a trader then you need to sell your bitcoin and start buying back at the bottoms when the manipulation ends. for example 3 or 4 days ago when the dumping began you should have sold the coins you had on exchanges and then started buying back now to have more bitcoins.

in the end as a trader you always leave something on exchanges unless you don't want to trade for a couple of days anymore.
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up and Down Movement on: June 14, 2018, 08:46:18 AM
the most important thing to know is the point #1 to learn how the market works. specially in cryptocurrency market and most importantly when it comes to altcoins. the rest of the points such as analyzing the market and charts is not important and i can say it is completely useless in altcoins because of the high levels of manipulation and pump and dump in altcoin market.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: June 14, 2018, 08:40:58 AM
there is always a certain level of risk involved in any kind of investment. when you invest in something new be it a new company or a new technology like bitcoin it is always a little riskier. but when you blindly invest in useless hot airs called altcoins the risk becomes ridiculously huge.

in the end all that matters is whether it is a calculated risk  that you are logically making or just a hype that you got caught into.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Below ICO prices on: June 13, 2018, 08:34:45 AM
if a new ICO goes below its ICO price it is because of the initial dump that always comes. some shittier ICOs will always get dumped harder and go a lot lower than their initial value.
but if it is an old ICO that has passed the initial dump and got already one pump at least and now is dumped so hard that it is lower than its ICO price then it means that the chances of this token to go back up is near to none. because that was THE dump to end things for that useless token.
890  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: June 13, 2018, 08:03:38 AM
just because you bought silver for some reason that is beyond me, that doesn't mean it is always a good investment which everyone should make.

gold is a bit different. it is a well known store of value but silver is like the other option that you go to if you don't want to buy gold or if you want to trade it to make some profit during rallies. otherwise it is not a wise investment at all.
891  Economy / Speculation / Re: As bitcoin plunges, mega-bull Tom Lee stands by his $25,000 target on: June 13, 2018, 07:55:49 AM
history suggests that these types of predictions that are made at the peak of the enthusiasm in the market would never happen.
for those who love comparing this to 2013 Cheesy:
back when it was rising to $1200 and things were crazy there were similar "perma bulls" calling for $10k in a short time span.
the similarity between today and 2013 stops there though...
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Market's Future without all Cryptocurrencies? on: June 13, 2018, 07:43:00 AM
we will have a lot of good days ahead of us if we could find a way to eliminate all these useless shitcoins. there are about 1500 of them currently available in the market and they are making the whole cryptocurrency scene look bad specially when some of them are too huge that gain the top ranks on websites such as coinmarketcap and stay up there like a sore eye.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulating agencies are quiet now! Anyone suspicious? on: June 13, 2018, 07:35:09 AM
i honestly don't see any change!
the only thing different is the fact that there is less FUD now compared to when price was above $10k and that price was very strong and hard to break into!
for example things you call "countries going for ban" was 99% FUD by news sites being spread at that particular time.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verge is Being Hacked, Again on: June 12, 2018, 09:16:49 AM
this is why i laughed when i heard there is a partnership between PornHub and Verge and they plan on accepting this altcoin as payment! this is exactly the problem with doing something like that, which is accepting an altcoin. they are untested, weak, full of bugs and exploitation and a lot of unknown things that will come out if there is incentive enough for it.

you see bitcoin is not just a name and a first starter. it actually IS the best and strongest coin which is why it has the highest value and most number of merchant adoption. it is tested and reviewed by thousands of people many of whom are big in their own fields like cryptography and Hal Finney.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin discussion importance! on: June 12, 2018, 09:06:02 AM
this topic should answer any question about altcoins and any kind of discussoun about them! read all the last replies. most of them don't even make any sense, 2 pages of mostly nonsense.
nobody cares nor understands altcoins to discuss about them. everyone here only cares about money and how they can earn more of it using altcoins. that is why all of them are so bad.
896  Economy / Speculation / Re: CTFC and 'manipulation' on: June 12, 2018, 08:56:15 AM
i honestly don't think anybody cares about CTFC and their probes of manipulation at all. because if they gave a rats ass then they wouldn't have manipulated bitcoin price further and price wouldn't have dropped this low. but the reality is that they continue their manipulation without even slowing it down.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 1K$. on: June 12, 2018, 08:39:09 AM
Remember, When BTC was 20k$ , I told u it will be dump to 7k$, most of u laughed at me,
now price is 6700$
20K$ to 7k$ was difficult but  Now Happened,
6700$ to 2k$ is very easy and it will be happen soon,

So what? Bitcoin was worthless before. And besides a thousand dollars per Bitcoin is still equal to an ounce of gold.

bitcoin has never been "worthless" ever! where did you get that idea from?
from day one bitcoin has been the most valuable currency that anybody could find and this has not changed one bit up until today and it is not about to change.

the price however always had swings up and down. sometimes bigger than others but it will always go up because it is valuable and it has real usages as a currency.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC has accepted bitcoin payment in Canada? WOW! on: June 12, 2018, 08:25:09 AM
as avikz said this is old news.
what it means is that it just shows to the whole world that bitcoin is a currency and a very good one at that. this is one of many different real world use cases of bitcoin and in short this is why bitcoin price rises in the long term whereas everything else drops in the long term. because bitcoin has real usage.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the Biggest Bubble in Human History? on: June 12, 2018, 08:22:26 AM
when it comes to bitcoin, the word "bubble" has always worked as a brainwashing technique used to manipulate the minds of newbies into selling their coins to the whales who buy their coins from them enjoying the cheap coins just to sell them back to the same newbies after the prices went back up again for a big profit.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy time for ETH from 300$ to below 400$. on: June 11, 2018, 10:08:36 AM
ETH buy time is only when its price goes back down to match its real value. meaning somewhere below $100 in 2 digits numbers. and until then you'd better stay away from it or if you are capable of day trading only make profit from its dead cat bounces.

in the end to see a proper ETH pump we need to first see it dumped and the whales to pick up cheap coins before they decide to pump it again.
