882  Other / Meta / Re: How can a hero account only have 99 posts? on: May 05, 2015, 10:02:35 PM
The activity Synced, but the Rank didnt. Is it supposed to be like that? He deleted all previous posts, so that his post count went down and the activity too. But does the rank stay at the highest you have achieved no matter how much activity you have lost?
This is exactly what I think happens with this forum. Although the activity levels drop, I don't think the system will automatically demote users to lower ranks. However I'm sure an admin could manually change his rank to Member now, because he should be ranked as one with that activity.
883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pbmining.com finally went dark on: May 05, 2015, 09:52:44 PM
Still though. It can't be smart to invest in cloud right now with the price of btc at what it is. I'm not sure how they could afford to do mining and make it profitable.
Well most of these sites aren't actually mining, they're just ponzis disguised as cloud mining contracts. Take a look at this thread. As you can see, there are many suspected cloud mining ponzis, and even more that have already collapsed, such as PBMining.
884  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can storing cheap electricity be used for mining ? (Tesla PowerWall) on: May 05, 2015, 01:40:33 PM
As long as your miner takes less power than the battery, then you should be saving a little money on power, since the battery will fill up at cheap times of the day. But as Stargazer said, there's no way it would be worth it for a small mining operation with just a couple Antminers or similar. Why invest in a $3500 device to save maybe $5 per month?

Do you have a process, a political affiliation or look for miners feedback? How would you go about assessing which fork to support?

What fork? Care to enlighten us?
He's probably talking about the 20MB block fork. I've heard that it's planned to happen in March 2016, and has been proposed by the main Bitcoin dev Gavin.

Here's a link if you want to read some more on it:

886  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: OVERVIEW: BITCOIN HARDWARE WALLETS █████████████████ Secure your Coins on: May 04, 2015, 11:28:09 PM
http://www.coindesk.com/case-bitcoin-wallet-pre-order/

Only 1,000 Case wallets will be available for pre-order for $199 or roughly 0.83 BTC .
Looks like an interesting concept, but a really expensive wallet. Don't think many people will be interested in a wallet like that at the current price point. Plus, most people already have a phone and it would be cheaper to just buy a Trezor + OTG cable to use with an Android phone.

889  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How do I verify downloaded electrum using signature files? on: May 03, 2015, 04:23:00 PM
On the Electrum download page, there's a note saying that "Sources are signed by ThomasV. Executables are signed by Animazing". Since you downloaded the executable version of Electrum rather than just the source files, it was signed by Animazing. Here's a link to his PGP key: http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewgpg.php?nick=Animazing

If you import Animazing's key, and then try to verify the signature of the executable, it should check out fine. I just tried it myself, and it verified as it should.
890  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: May 03, 2015, 04:10:26 PM
i want that always i will get last persent (101%) for these what should i will make ?

The last one is all time.  The first one is the past 24 hours.  It will be more inline with what you get paid.

What means all time ?

So that i will dont turn off miner and after i every day will get 101% ?
All time is the pool's overall luck since it was opened. 100% luck basically means that if you go to a bitcoin mining calculator, it will say you should make x BTC per day with x hashrate on average. The 101% luck means that the pool makes 1% over this calculation on average, since the pool originally launched.

Denied. The majority of your posts look to be in the Off-topic section, and aside from that I see very few posts that would be considered constructive in other sections.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to deny you. This campaign wants the majority of user's posts to be in a bitcoin-related area, and I'm seeing most of your posts being made in the Politics and Society area.
894  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: WTF is this? Someone found a trick for fast mining on: May 02, 2015, 01:24:41 PM
Nobody has found a trick for fast mining, that's just good luck. Sometimes it can be an hour or two between blocks, other times it can just be seconds between them.
895  Economy / Services / Re: [4 OPEN SLOTS] Rollin.io Signature Campaign - Earn up to 0.16 BTC Per Month! on: May 02, 2015, 12:49:23 PM
Quick question :
Why my stats aint updated at all on spreadsheet ?
Post counts are updated every 24 hours or so.

They were last updated ~ 23 hours ago, so I haven't counted any posts you've made since then.

897  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum on a VPS, Cannot connect at all! on: May 02, 2015, 12:05:24 AM
Do you by chance have a firewall blocking connections? It sounds like that might be the culprit here, especially if it seems to be running fine and you aren't getting any errors.

899  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: May 01, 2015, 01:42:22 PM
What is -i option used for? Can I have a list of Vanitygen commands? After I made post #2126, I started my Vanitygen again. With normal commands. It is now at 5.9 percent.
The -i command means that it will run a case insensitive search. So if you want it to generate a 1JTK wallet with the "-i" command, it might then generate 1JtK instead. It basically just speeds up the generation time, but you're giving up case sensitivity.
900  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 2FA, transaction partially signed on: May 01, 2015, 01:38:29 PM
Do you have your Electrum seed written down somewhere? If you're having troubles sending a 2FA transaction through Electrum, it's recommended to just restore your wallet from your seed. That'll remove the 2FA and let you send your coins wherever you please.
