901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remains value haters on: April 05, 2023, 12:23:31 PM
According Samson Mow; Some people hate Bitcoin with an intensity that doesn’t make sense. You need to ask yourself why, and what exactly Bitcoin threatens for them to behave in this manner.

I think some people needs to understand that bitcoin is no man's business concerns. After all nobody is using another man's money to invest. Bitcoin could be greater with time, let's leave the hates about bitcoin.
Hate will remain, and it's everywhere not just to bitcoin. And to say that there have been no person that invests with someone's money, you're wrong with that.

We'll never know how many people have invested money that's owned by another person. But I do know that it should go that far for someone to get invested into bitcoin.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 04, 2023, 10:46:08 PM
Just don't.

You don't need to spend your energy on them convincing them that buying bitcoin is the right choice. Let them do all the talk later on after we hit a new all time high.

With that, they'll be the one to approach you again and say that they've missed the opportunity when you've talked to them. And you'll be like, 'okay' and then leave them alone.

Yeah, I've seen those people that have been scammed by those fake extension of ARB airdrop. That's why don't be greedy guys.

If the airdrop was done, it's already done and there will be new extensions of it unless it's coming from the actual officials and developers of the project.
904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: April 04, 2023, 01:33:41 PM
Thinking also of ROIs will make them think about such quick phasing in trading which I don't recommend to happen.

You need to take it one step at a time and the journey won't be that easy if we are going to think of it. About cyber security concerns, we don't need to be expert on it but by simply adding 2FA to our exchange and wallet accounts are good features to begin with.
When you are really thinking about fast ROI then it would really just distract you on going with the right path on which its never advisable on having this kind of intent but its normal when you are just a newbie but
of course when real experience kicks in then you would really be making that realization which is something that you would really be that aware. Mistakes and errors are the best teachers and there's no way you could
be able to learn up things from other people but rather it would be on your real experience. Its normal that greed would really come out but once you do able to gain that sufficient experience
then it would really be giving out that kind of idea on what are the things that you should gonna do along the way.
It's no problem to think of ROIs but when you're too much focused on it than learning as a beginner. The motivation will be different and difficult for you to extract.

And attached to it the thought that this market is an easy market where you can make money so fast. But not knowing that you're prone to many mistakes and those mistakes will frustrate you.

When it comes to that situation, you'll either stop because you're discouraged that your expectations weren't met. Learn from your mistake and from the others too.
905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with stock on: April 04, 2023, 10:55:23 AM
And those moments that they're throwing money are part of their plans to learn more from it. Someone who just plainly losing and throws money without getting any value back from it is totally wasting money.

There are people that understands that process and they'll learn from doing that. While others are discouraged to keep on getting losses, a few of them are using it as a motivation to become better traders.

Nevertheless, we have to remember that majority are losing in trading and those who wins have gone through huge losses as well.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: April 04, 2023, 09:24:34 AM
You'll have hard time to save money while the economic situation of your country isn't doing good. It's because goods will have to be expensive and your potential savings will just be spent on goods.

And that's why if you want to save, aside from budgeting and reducing expenses. I agree to what you're saying that you need to have other source of income.

That's how the economic ways of coping up with the situation of global economic crisis. Living from paycheck to paycheck will just give you crack in the head to find more ways of getting out of that type of living.
When you are just really that relying on your day job salary and economic situations becomes even more worst specially on your country then for sure you would really be having a hard time on surviving. What more on having  savings? Specially when you do have a family on which you would need to supply their needs and of course it would really be varying whether these things could be simply or not basing on how much you do earn. This is why its really that relevant that you should find another way source of income on which it would be an additional on  your current earning, with this you cant really be that
having those thoughts and doubts that you could withstand for whatever crisis that might happen.
On first world countries, they'll easy to make with it but then goods and things there are also becoming more expensive and with those situations that I've read and heard. They're not exempted from all of these crises.

I've felt how hard life it is compared to a few years ago pre-pandemic. Life was too simple and easy to get with and I can easily save as much as I can from the salary that I've got. However with few yet huge impact into our economies, things and life became more challenging such as saving.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: April 03, 2023, 07:38:06 PM
If your country is suffering economically then you cannot overcome it by saving money alone. And if you don't have multiple sources of income, you won't be able to save money too. But if you can save money by reducing unnecessary expenses, even if it does not solve the economic problems of the country, you can fight with your future poverty. So saving money is always a good thing.  So you can do it. It may not improve your current standard of living but it will help fight poverty in the long run. So I think the intention of saving money is good and this thought should be awakened in everyone then the economic condition of the world can be relaxed.
You'll have hard time to save money while the economic situation of your country isn't doing good. It's because goods will have to be expensive and your potential savings will just be spent on goods.

908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you still strong holding btc on: April 03, 2023, 06:39:14 PM
as we know today btc is in the range of 28000, and i was very lucky to be able to buy btc when the price was still low, and now if i sell it i have a profit but if i sell it now i'm afraid i won't be able to
buying from the bottom again,, and I'm currently struggling to hold btc so I don't sell it,

I want to ask if you also  keep holding btc?
Yes, I'm holding btc and will keep on holding it until the right time and price appears in my sight that shall satisfy me and without a doubt be prepare to sell it.

and the reason I hold btc is because I believe the price of btc in 2024 will be high and there will be no more btc prices like now.
Because of halving, yes.

That's to be expected and we'll need to be more patient until it comes and other speculations are saying that 2025 might be the better year. It's always like that when we come from halving, it appears that the next year becomes the actual bull run.
909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: April 03, 2023, 05:47:03 PM
There are a lot of mistakes being made by crypto beginners. I think they made mistakes like choosing an inappropriate crypto exchange platform, thinking only about pricing instead of ROIS, lack of research and planning, and underestimating cyber security. If they were aware of such things, it will be more beneficial for them.
Thinking also of ROIs will make them think about such quick phasing in trading which I don't recommend to happen.

910  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: April 03, 2023, 12:24:42 PM
I also do several side jobs and of course the results can help financially, around my house there are many empty houses that want to be sold, if the house is fully furnished then I will invite the owner to work with me to manage and rent it out daily to monthly, and this can make me earn about 40% of my monthly salary.
You're a property manager and that's a lucrative side job, you don't really need to be focused at all with it but just need to be patient looking for a tenant then you're all good.

That's one of the best side hustles that we've got on this current economy that we're in. You need to network with people even if you don't want to because that will show the best of you.

So, that's a commission basis or depending on the contract or casual talk and agreement you've made with those owners?
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My mind is unrest on: April 03, 2023, 09:45:01 AM
I have read about an OS where one can install it in a USB flash and it's a good way of storing Bitcoin if one can't afford a hardware wallet sooner, can you give me a name and also where to read the installation tutorial?

Why do I want to do this?

I can't afford a hardware wallet right away and I just got a job where we are always asked to drop our phones every morning, all workers only have access to their phones after we closed at work, and that's in the evening, so many hours away.

My phone has a fingerprint lock and others but those security men I don't trust them, there is also a company PC in the office at the checkpoint, I feel they might try something with my phone and as a hot wallet user I feel unsafe.
Why do you need to change the OS that can be flashed through a flash drive when you can just simply have a 2nd hand laptop where you can install a desktop wallet and keep your bitcoins there?

You're making it too complicated by having some flashable OS through your flash drive.

That's even riskier because what if it goes corrupted since flash drives aren't really durable at all to be honest. Just go with an old laptop, connect to the web, install electrum and keep it.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto world without CEXs...How would it be? on: April 02, 2023, 10:08:27 PM
There's the probability but I highly doubt it that every country will cease their operations. Those that are too little in their operations are going to be massively adopted by most traders.

US with their too strict rules will make every huge exchange that are not in their favor will just leave the US markets and will just leave the responsbility to their users to come and find them since they're no longer accepted into their country to retain their markets.
913  Economy / Speculation / Re: The US government sold 9800 bitcoin on March 14 on: April 02, 2023, 06:42:04 PM
Are they needing some funds now and that's why it took that long for them to decide to liquidate it and the rest for four another rounds?

I guess that they're on the right time and the last remaining batch could be sold when the bull run has come. But if they intended to sell that in the first place, they should have decided to sell it on 2021.
not mean to judge, but they seems have enough funds , instead they seems playing with market i guess, lets say i am crazy and they have idea to take some of supply of btc by forcing sell in the low price.
That's more likely then.

And with that money, they know that they can move the market a bit and if that's the plan to just play with the market, we'll see with the other rounds that they're going to do it.

But I'm guessing that they'll have no to little impact from the market.

He's also too vocal with their status whether it's bad or not, he's trying to make it look like an easy thing for them to deal with by guaranteeing their customers that there's nothing to worry about and it's like "I got you" statement from him.
Thats what other people think of him and seeing act as natural, I guess he did have the sympathy of the users within his grasp. Everyone is likely to calm if the person involve acts naturally and doesnt show signs of hostility or fear. Maybe thats make him stronger cause he has confidence thay they arent doing anything wrong with regards to accusation of if ever they did, they are willing to consolidate or compromise it with a healthy reasoning and possible amendments.
AFAIK, his assets are kept in crypto and he doesn't cash it out. That's what I've read but I doubt it that it's 100% kept in crypto since he has to spend for his trips and everything.

The confidence that he's got is a lot which is enough to encourage everyone whatever he says.

What basically we like about it is that he's explaining things what's happening. But I am sure there's also the advantage on him when he's doing that.
915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before You Go All In on: April 02, 2023, 04:32:27 PM
Those are good advises. Someone may think that it's too much but that's the reality in trading, you may expect to get some profits in the future but you have to go through with a lot of pain before going there.

And that's all about losing more, you'll have a lot of pains and losses before going to those successful trades.

That's why before going there, you need to prepare yourself not just emotionally but also financially and that's the real thing in trading unless you only want to try it with little money.
916  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia and others, move to use Yuan instead of dollar. on: April 02, 2023, 02:09:43 PM
It's interesting to see the development of this alliance and I've been seeing a lot of commentary videos that USA's dollar is being said that it's in the brink of death.

We still have to see the process on how things will go. Yeah, BRICS seems to be a powerful alliance that will revolutionize the a portion of world's economy.

But don't forget that USA also has some alliance in the EU and they have been in their place for so long and that's why they're doubling the effort of doing stuff right now.

I'm just stating what I observe and whoever wins this race, we'll see then. It's also said by around 2030, it's gonna be China's time to shine and will be on top. With all of these speculations and thoughts, we can just say what we're thinking but we will never know the outcome of its actuality.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling Ravencoin (RVN) on: April 01, 2023, 08:46:35 PM
Hey thanks for response.

I know that I can use some exchange to sell/trade. The only reason why I posted here is because I wanted to do it directly, well direct trade.

Not in a hurry to do it, so I can wait few days. If no one needs it I will sell/trade using the exchange.
Alright, I do get it.

Good luck if you ever find that person willing to have a deal with you. Do not forget to make your transaction safe and by having an escrow, that's going to help both of you to do it safely.

Here's a list of the Recommended bitcointalk escrow services.

I think CZ being close tied to his community makes Binance stronger despite all of the FUD and issues that it has been with. Remember also when they were hacked, they've guaranteed the funds of people are "SAFU" and that's why trust are still with them.

920  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: April 01, 2023, 09:33:01 AM
My biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom right now I'm just an employee who only relies on a monthly salary and often lacks money at the end of the month, this makes it difficult for me to save or invest, but the presence of bounties in this forum certainly makes me get additional income so that it can be a hope to achieve financial freedom .
You need to find a way to solve that problem and that's through having an additional source of income aside from the bounties because they're not secured and you might just waste your time there.

But if you're lucky enough to have some good adventures there and able to get rewards that are tradable and have given you some extra cash then that's good.

Being wise with the spending of that money is what you must do and you don't need to go that far because with the profit there, buy bitcoin and that's the investment that you need.
