901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: every country has crypto currency on: August 20, 2018, 10:26:11 AM
I know that Venezuela has petro, Japan has MUFG Coin. anyone please tell me, are there other countries that have created their own crypto besides Venezuela and Japan?

I think it's interesting, maybe we better call it a national cryptocurrency. do we need it for the future? and what is the important role of cryptocurrencies created by the state?
I really don't think that countries creating their own cryptocurrency is a good thing, because the whole idea of using it to get away for the control and the centralization that governments impose on the people through controlling fiat, and having a crypto created by the government will not change that because they would probably be monitoring it and controlling it
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum price now under 300$ !!!! on: August 20, 2018, 08:53:41 AM
The price drop is not just specific to the Ethereum it is a drop for the whole cryptocurrency market, and this comes to no surprise since this market has seen some regulation and tough decisions and also some unexpected events that made investing in them really hard, and it is true that ethereum lost a large amount of investors but i am pretty sure as soon as the market starts moving a bit or bitcoin starts going up so will etherum, because all the crypto follow bitcoin.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any ALTCOIN ever overtake Bitcoin ? on: August 20, 2018, 02:42:17 AM
It's almost 8 months of 2018 and we have not seen any reasonable hikes for the altcoins,
It was only Ethereum that hit a good value of almost 1.4k$ in the beginning of the year . Since then it's pretty dull.

Forget overtaking can any ALTCOIN ever reach a value near Bitcoin.
I really don't think that any altcoin could ever overtake bitcoin, because bitcoin was obviously a new idea back when it was created and people liked it and since it brought a whole new way for us to revolutionize the way we do thing they supported and it got big and so its price, and baiscaclly all the other coins that came after it are all considered copy cats, just they want to be like bitcoin but obviously they can't and they won't.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which month most properly invest in crypto currency? on: August 18, 2018, 11:29:04 AM

hello i am confused what month i am investing in crypto currency because now months i do not know because too low market value.

should I invest now what is it and lost?

thank you Smiley
No one can really tell you the exact time which is best to start investing in the crypto currency as they tend to move a lot and they are unpredictable, but defiantly right might be the best time to invest in them since as you said their prices are low, so don't think deep about it if you are able to invest than do it, because their prices could start climbing at any time without a warning and you will regret it.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between a "coin" and "token"? on: August 18, 2018, 10:56:31 AM
I've heard of some companies offering tokens instead of coins, is this the same thing?

Coins are a method of payment and have a many uses like bitcoin or litecoin, you can use them in many ways and for many things, while tokens are just a type of currencies issued by a company or a site, specific to it so you can only use it for getting things or services from that specific place, and usually you are able to buy tokens with coins but not the other way.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify if the ICO will be successful? on: August 18, 2018, 09:42:29 AM
How to identify if the ICO will succeed??
What is the first THING to do when you are investing on an ICO? Or how can you identify if the ICO will be successful before investing?? As a beginner I don’t know where should I start first before investing, what is the do's and dont's before investing on an ICO??
The first thing to do before investing in an ICO is to carefully read its white paper and really know what the project is all about because the most important thing about an ICO being successful is having a good project, a good project will always have a purpose a new thing to add to the cryptocurrency market, and it will make investing  in it and supporting it worthwhile, and also you should look uo the team of the project that you are trying to invest in because a good and dedicated team will surely make it successful.

910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are alts heading to 0 earlier then we thought? on: July 31, 2018, 07:54:22 PM
The alt coin market has been in decline for considerable amount of time.

There are many new coins coming on to the market daily and performing poorly on listing.

Look at the last 5/10 coins that have come onto Binance…. most have dumped immediately on listing,  possible by early investors or ico buyers.

Other than occasional increase in value, the trend has been very very bearish...

Many analysts have already said, the value of many alts is 0.   So the question im asking is could the move to 0 already have begun.

Why are many on these forums very bullish and hoping for a rise in value that may never happen.

Without a doubt many of these projects have failed and many many more will fail within the next 12/24 months due to the drying up of funds for project teams.

So the big question is... is it time to sell up many of these alt coins that will go to 0 or will you continue to HODL

I believe that this is happening due to the extreme diversity that the market witnessing, I mean ever since a couple of ICOs last year were successful and popular the whole market was flooded with altcoin , it even became hard to spot the good ones from the bad ones it all evolves around pump and dump, and there is no long term investment in them as soon as they go on exchanges they start losing their value.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: July 31, 2018, 02:20:03 PM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
Bitcoin has helped me and a lot of people in a lot if ways, and probably on the financial side more than anything, being a student and living by myself and having to work part time to cover my daily expenses, at the end of the month I would not have enough to do things with my friends, but ever since I was introduced to bitcoin I was able to do more than just live in a better life, but to do things beyond I even dreamed of.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: July 30, 2018, 10:22:06 AM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.
I defiantly think that loneliness plays a big part in making people fall into the wrong roads and do things that are illogical, no having friends and not having anything to do, makes you look for anything to do even if it is wrong, and gambling and drugs or anything that gets you hooked up on it, I personally only gamble when I have nothing to do, but when I am with my friends I don't even think about it, and probably that is the best solution for addiction.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Who Agree with me On this picture about ICO projects? on: July 27, 2018, 12:13:48 AM
Ever since ICO projects became successful and popular, a lot of ICos started flooding the market l, maybe one of tow of them did what they really were created to do, but for the most part the rest of them are all shity and don't go far in the market, their prices don't get the the expected points of the developers so they don't put a lot of work into them.
914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the usual mistakes that newbie traders usually do? on: July 26, 2018, 11:48:34 PM
As a new kid in the cryptocurrency world, we often have our share of first mistakes in trading which helps us to be able to become better and wiser in the next transactions. What are these usual or common mistakes that newbies commit?
Probably one of the biggest mistakes that new traders do is flow what they see on the net, if they see somone saying that this coin is good and you should invest in it they belive them and that go put their money on it and they end up losing it, because they invest all of their cap thinking that they will be profiting from it, so if you ate new don't do litterly what people say and don't invest all of your money into one coin or one token.
915  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: July 26, 2018, 11:43:18 PM
As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?
Well that is something that is hard to do because, bitcoin mining is really hard and requires a lot of hardware power and electricity and putting all of that into a small device is really hard, high performance computers struggle to mine etherum let alone bitcoin and you are talking about phones, that will require reducing the mining difficulty of bitcoin and that will cause a lot of complication.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still believe in btc price predictions? on: July 26, 2018, 09:55:38 PM
Many predict their own bitcoin price. Others say the price of btc at the end of 2018 is $ 50,000. And others say that it will cost $ 100,000- $ 1,000,000 over the next few years.

But at this moment your prediction price of btc is still the same  or your predictions have changed?
Price predictions are just mere talk and hopes that people say, just to make them selves believe that the price of bitcoin is going to go up and reach those prices, but they are all not true because none knows what the future holds for it, I personally don't predict anything I just go with the flow and just keep on holding to it until I need the money.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: July 26, 2018, 04:54:57 PM
Spotting scams is much easier then people make it out to be.
If a company isnt a scam, you will be able to know from the beginning.
Look for plenty of community involvement and proper spelling in posts.
Scammy ambling sites not always start off as a scam, they maybe let people win a few games at first so that they get some reputation but than gradually start not paying and than walk away, so I think that in order for a site to be completely trustful, the owner the staff should be known and every transaction and winnings should be completely transparent.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid? on: July 26, 2018, 04:37:14 PM
Just wanted to ask if we need any kind of wallets to recieve those tokens after the completion of campaign. And also how can token be traded into bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.Any idea?

I think that these tokens usally could be exchanged on exchanged sites such as kucoin and poloniex, abut the problem with them is that their value is low so when they get listed on exchange which takes a long time to do so, they take a large amount of fees to send from the etherum wallet which you usually store your tokens on, and the exchange wallet, so when you get tokens you should probably wait for it to rise a bit before exchanging them.
919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which countries's ICOs you invested on: July 26, 2018, 12:23:18 PM

I wonder which countries ico you prefer, like Japan, Korea, China, Swiss, America, Germany, Singapore~~~

And why Wink
I don't think that ICOs should be picked based on the countries, because there are defiently plenty of good ICOs out there that are not from countries that you excpect them to give much, however there are some countries which have restriction and they require documents whenbyou want to invest in an ICO in order to prevent money laundring, it is not good to judge a book by it cover, because many good ideas and good projects come from places where you don't expect them.
920  Economy / Economics / Re: Greediness leads to market manipulation. on: July 26, 2018, 12:03:47 PM
Sometimes many people try to manipulate the market and buy precious tokens cheap and selling high later. They intentionally cause fear and panic in the inexperienced members and take advantage to perpetrate their greed activities.
I think that this is only specific to some markets only, like the small altcoins where they pump their price so that people invest in it and than dump it, but it is no enough to manipulate it, they need a lot more than that to influence others, like they go on social media and forums and start claiming that the coin that they are ting in is hood and will go big, and people who are new to this will believe them and that is how they manipulate the market.
