921  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Your Crypto Safety Net: Reliable Research for Worry-Free Investments on: October 08, 2023, 05:15:42 PM
No one is allowed to post a link shortener here you are breaking the forum rule
5. No link shorteners that require users to view an ad.
Rebrandly is a url shortener that doesn't require users to view an ad, so it does not break the rule #5. But i can't access the url, saying a dns error.

Regarding the OP, i don't think such third party service is really a must have. As long those details are on the internet that can be research publicly viewed, then no need to hire someone to do it for you.
922  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kailan Kaya Tayo Magkakaroon Ng Cryptocurrency Summit Na Involve Lahat on: October 08, 2023, 04:47:21 PM

924  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga Artista Na Scam Ng Crypto Investment on: October 07, 2023, 11:57:44 PM
Any kind of business na mag offer ng ganyang kalaking percentage ay too good to be true parang 60% profit a year ang matatanggap mo diyan lalo na pag sinabing puro profit ang makukuha mo, hindi ganyan ang investments. Masaklap kase ang laki pala nakuha sa kanila
925  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: swaplab.io swapslab.cc and other phishing swaplab websites on: October 07, 2023, 11:51:56 PM
When any of those websites are up and running we usually contact domain registrars and ask to take the scammers down. However, the scammers continue to jump from one registrar to another.
This is true, and you all need to do us report it again or buy the domain names too which obviously needs a financial budget.

It's good to see you reporting scam phishing sites even though you already stopped your service. If you still have access to your social media sites you can just post such info for people to be aware and not become responsible when someone got scammed due to these phishing sites.
926  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Moneygram ginamit narin ang blockchain technology on: October 07, 2023, 09:27:38 PM
Never used Moneygram before so di ko alam anu ang fee stricture nila compare sa ibang remittance, pero if isa ito sa mga ginagamit ng mga OFW for remittance then it is really a good news to hear about sa mga OFWs natin. At sa business side, since alam naman nila na volatile ang crypto, i guess they already find ways para maiwasang pag kalugi if ever na mag de-decrease value nito.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Still not a safe practice even if it works on: October 07, 2023, 09:18:40 PM
I have seen a few pieces of content online that are saying Stake, Fortune Jack, Casino Gap and few others are VPN-friendly.
Most casinos prohibits its users users to use vpn, but there are some who doesn't. If it's stated on casino's ToS then users should not try to use it while playing, simply as that.
These mentioned casinos are probably strict about VPN especially if you are in countries that has strict casino regulations like US, Quatar, Singapore,.etc.
928  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PDX Coin is a Scam Project 🚫🚫 on: October 07, 2023, 09:04:50 PM
To think that the campaign was run by a newbie user without much reputation and funds are not escrowed such incident is really inevitable, that's why participating campaign should consider this aspect too.
It's unfortunate to think such success project through the work of bounty participants effort yet didn't get paid. And the project deserve to get criticized its hunters should get they deserve.evem though or most them will never get any value
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Governments Ban Cryptocurrency {Bitcoin} on: October 07, 2023, 03:00:45 PM
For obvious reason, cryptocurrency is the opposite of how government wants to fiat, it's a matter of how they can control it which is they can't over crypto. For those countries who accepts bitcoin (crypto-friendly) are those government who understand y really well and used it for their advantage.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best suited place for bitcoin symbol's before or after amounts? on: October 06, 2023, 11:07:42 PM
That's not true (though I'm not sure if by "currencies" you mean cryptocurrencies or are including fiat ones).
Well, just what you explain, most people used the left one, and there are some use the right one of placing currency sign.
Which i've come up that there is no standard of placing it in numbers, it's just preference.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many BTC does the Forum's Administrators Have? on: October 06, 2023, 10:56:52 PM
To be honest, I thought the administrators might have thousands of BTC in their holding as they are the ones who made it this far from the start.
Broken logic. It's not always the case. Do you think an oldtime holder won't spend their bitcoin? What's the purpose of holding it, just for show that i have this kind of numbers? And become rich virtually?

Well, with those numbers, you could say at least its their average holdings, users here are not that open for public viewing.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today in history: The first recorded Bitcoin exchange went live on: October 05, 2023, 11:04:09 PM
Not that I am interested very much with that exchange but I have a question, Is it still running up until now?.
Not anymore, the mentioned user is not active anymore since late 2012. And i see no site is up with that name.

Here is the last archive[1] of the website

933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I lost my money due to an exchange error (I think) on: October 05, 2023, 10:38:04 PM
do you think I should already contact support o maybe wait? sometimes usdt transactions might take longer than 15 min or if I didnt get the usdt already there has been an issue
?

If this happen already hours ago considering that it won't take 20 minutes then you should message the support of the receiving exchange already. Knowing you already used this address to deposit before, then there is probably a known error on the receiving exchange.
934  Other / Meta / Re: Can one plagarise unintentionally? on: October 05, 2023, 04:19:20 PM
Unintentional plagiarism in google is not giving proper credit to original owner either its an image, research, sentence, etc. even there's no intention of doing it,  which is really bannable here in this forum (to forget to include the source).

I will agree what nutildah said about the long of the copied text, only if it was copied from other users also on those "known phrase" like "prevention is better than cure" not on what you can see on google and other blog articles in the internet.
935  Other / Meta / Re: Merited Changed Color? on: October 05, 2023, 05:11:37 AM
It's always green since the day it was introduced. I search and found this github page[1] with a screenshot a merited post/reply posted 4 years ago.
Btw, i don't know whos github page is that.

936  Other / Meta / Re: harizen - ban appeal on: October 04, 2023, 11:36:04 PM
It will not be easy to restore this account. Because it is unknown how deep the hackers penetrated the account.
Is it the verification or signing a message of the staked address and the email used is enough for account recovery? regardless how the hackers able to access all of those you mentioned?

If that's really the case, OP should reset its account password, email associated to its account, and lastly reset/reformat its device to a new one.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pillow Fight League on: October 04, 2023, 11:12:44 PM
First heard it as a sport, never seen any fights on cam of it as well, surprisingly there's a league already. As i didnt see any fight yet on how the winner is recognize i can't give any opinions but would love to see it really there is.

Edit: Searched some vids about this, and yeah it looks like fun, but didnt see any KO, maybe just the more you hit the more your score is since it looks like fighters not getting hurt of the pillow punch lol so getting KO is impossible.
938  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PhilHealth under siege: US$300,000 ransom set by Medusa ransomware group on: October 04, 2023, 04:37:34 AM
I'll just give insights sa current issue ng philihealth which was na leaked na in public ng medusa yung data from philhealth. Which philhealth employees from different regions lang talaga ang nakuha, check this public post[1]. Sa mga interested to see, ito yung site ng medusa[2] with philhealth leaked data. Nandyan din yung mga screenshot ng vid na na-share ni bhadz which is taken down na yung link. If being cautious just use vpn sa pag access ng site.

939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the Gambling Sportybet (Company) Refund the Money? on: October 03, 2023, 11:48:20 PM
People nowadays really using the power of social media just to get advantage in every situation either it's good or nonsense, especially if it trends. The management should take this seriously and shouldn't listen to those who side with the boy, it's him to blame in the very first place.
And just like that, the management already said their side and so be it.
940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need Escrow Explanation on: October 02, 2023, 10:45:49 PM
Hi, i want to use this topic, to ask another question, if a sell/buy transaction is performed sucessfully with a escrow, Who need win more trust? i mean if am the buyer Who do I need to give positive feedback?
You can give both, since you transacted both of them, but it's not required.

If escrows or seller/buyer required you or insist to give positive feedback, is something that trust farmers do, and its always be suspicious, especially to lower ranks, or untrusted users.
