921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ADX]*NEW* AdEx Network - Decentralized Ad Exchange on: June 30, 2017, 02:59:47 AM

I'm a bit new to ICO's as I've been mostly mining, and it's not obvious to me, but how do I get in on the ICO?  I kept seeing on the first few pages of the thread things like "I just joined this campaign".

I also looked at the Adex website and see there's the countdown and I signed up for the announcements, but again, forgive my ignorance, but it's not obvious to me... how do you purchase the tokens (I know it's purchased with ETH..)  when they are released tomorrow?  Is there an exchange for it?

I assume the purchase would be same as Status ICO, which a smart contract address will appear when the sale starts.

In my opinion, they should have published a tutorial for the sale.

the Status ICO contract address was known for a long time before the presale. It was almost a deal, people started bombarding the contract before the correct block, contributing to the network congestion we all experienced. Since this doesn't require preregistration, IE a whitelist to the contract, and dynamic ceilings have not been implemented,  this will be a free for all. The large target will help, but this might be a lot quicker than we are all expecting.

Greenbits,

the fact, that you are race obssessed cuck, doesnt mean, that all of us on Bitcointalk forum are also.

Your little racist brain wouldnt even consider majority of our global community "white" enough to bother with arguing.

The fact is, that African Americans owe their very existence to the past, that along time ago, african slave traders made a deal with greedy Anglo-Saxon and Jewish bussinessmen. An evil pact for sure, but one, that paved way for formation and accomplishments of one of those most prominent groups of United States of America. African-american people. Now, 40 million strong.

They did it all even without you patronizing them. And speaking about them as "third seaters". You are not helping them, just making yourself looking like a commie homo. On bitcointalk forum, place for profit and learning.

"colored people breeding scares the dog shit out of y'all"

Then go watch interracial porn for Gods sake! Your mental disease with cocks of one particular color is of no public interest.

Yezzir Wink

I have officially been called a cuck. I'm seriously about to go take a shot, you just made my day good sir.

Fuck it, you get a baker's dozen of fucking cookies Smiley I just gots to quote this my man, this is truly a badge of honor. I'm not trolling you, me and the Miss think the fact that cuck is a mainstream insult now, especially given the origins of the contemporary usage, is fucking hilarious. We call each other cuck like an inside joke; to be fair, it was after y'all adopted it, it was parody at first but we fond it so amusing we still do it out of habit. I haven't shown her this post yet, but bruv, we are going to laugh about this shit for a minute. Everyone that not familiar with cuck, please go look this shit up on Google. Specifically, search alt right + cuck + origins. Mad interesting Smiley

I agree with everything you say. I'm a race obsessed cuck that considers everyone colored. And African Americans benefited immensely from slavery. You can tell now, it's obvious. Oh, and I like dick too, and Communism. Greenbits: lover of socialism, race baiting, and dick. I like what you did there Cool

When I look at porn, I'm pretty much oblivious to the fact that there is a guy there, let alone his race, so interracial porn is like any other straight porn. I've never like, specifically searched interracial porn , but I will concede I haven't seen a race of females that I don't find attractive, I can't exclude any off the top. A bad bitch is a bad bitch, I don't care what color they are dipped in myself. As long as they are thick..

Oh wait, I'm a huge fag, I forgot. Cock and dick and such Smiley

I'm smiling and nodding profusely.

Please go on, we are all watching Wink I want to hear you defend slavery more, this is actually interesting now.

switching over to the ADEX campaign. Going to take a break from the Politics section for a while, dont want to say anything too controversial Cheesy I'll be back.
923  Other / Politics & Society / Re: philosophical question on: June 29, 2017, 12:21:31 PM
I don't mean any offence or to offend anybody at all, it's simply a question.

Was slavery in the US that bad? By having slaves and abolishing slavery later on, yes it was cruel and wrong BUT with slavery they've saved the many generations of africans from potentially dying from a disease, war,etc... and gave the new generations of slaves to live a normal and a lot more happy life in the US later on. So was slavery actually that bad?

I hope that you've understood the question I wanted to ask, really sleepy right now but wanted to hear your opinion on this one.

I'll bite Wink I love these, and no offense taken. Also, in before the racist crew comes out to play Wink

Life in America isn't normal or happy for some black people. It's hard to explain, and I'll sound butthurt, but suffice it to say this is not the American dream. Your potential for growth is limited, it kind of makes you just want to give up. People assume they know your character because of how you look, it's frustrating to say 'Hello Ma'am' to an older white lady in Walmart, and have her glare at you. And then repeat yourself politely, because surely she didnt hear me, she reacted wrong, and have the lady pfft and glare and leave. I hate it that my skin bothers people so much sometimes they want to harm me.

Slavery was no gift. The horrors of slavery engendered social policy that persists to this day. We aren't in chains, but a prison does not always require bars.

So no, I don't think systematic torture, rape and genocide is justified by a third place seat in modern America. Also, from a numbers perspective, the breeding potential that was usurped to create more slaves would have more than made up for those lost to misadventure/calamity.

Would you be a slave?

Genocide? Do you even know meaning of that word?

The 'Age of Totalitarianism' included nearly all of the infamous examples of genocide in modern history, headed by the Jewish Holocaust, but also comprising the mass murders and purges of the Communist world, other mass killings carried out by Nazi Germany and its allies, and also the Armenian genocide of 1915. All these slaughters, it is argued here, had a common origin, the collapse of the elite structure and normal modes of government of much of central, eastern and southern Europe as a result of the First World War, without which surely neither Communism nor Fascism would have existed except in the minds of unknown agitators and crackpots.
— William Rubinstein, Genocide: a history

You should educate yourself more before throwing arund such a strong terms. There is over 40 million african american people today, despite the fact, that at the time, when transatlantic slave trade with west african warlords ended, there were around one million.

African Americans persisted quite well until 1960´, when liberalization and secularization destroyed notion of black family. They need you white knights stop patronizing them, not throwing "genocides" around.

Yeah, OK Wink what ever you say bro. Not fielding this silly shit Wink don't have the energy this morning. Too bad you don't like my term.

Its genocide. Sorry don't agree, honestly, no fucks given.

And colored people breeding scares the dog shit out of y'all Sad
924  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Duterte's promise to get rid of drugs 29 days left on: June 29, 2017, 04:00:45 AM
But at what cost? Sure, the dealers may have left, but the sourcing (China), is still right there, producing precursors by the tanker full. We killed a lot of people, most of which were addicts and not dealers. We militarized the police against the populace, degraded civil liberty, orphaned children. And although the level of users might be down, one thing occurs to me.

What happens during the next drug epidemic? He won't be in office forever. Will all those people have died in vain? Because this won't be repeated in a modern country, this is literally genocide, even if it's unintentional.

At least we can hope that these deaths will not go in vain. A few thousand deaths now will hopefully prevent an even greater number of deaths in the future. I won't call it a genocide, since they are not targeting any particular ethnic group or religious community.

That why I gave it the unintentional qualifier; it may not target a particular ethnicity of culture, but if it effects one group disproportionately, then genocide it is. I equate it with the inadvertent aparthied going on in Israel/Palestine. Not the aim, but the effects are chilling.
925  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Duterte's promise to get rid of drugs 29 days left on: June 29, 2017, 03:41:38 AM
Duterte promise to the solve illegal drugs activity in 3-6 months. Can he fullfill his promise? Can he do it in this short period of time. I hope he will be successful at the end of the day. Life must go on. So live our life to the fullest. Its Philippines time so we can work together to change the Philippines for the better country.

i hope duterte can solve illegal drugs activity in its given period. As we can see in the news many drug lords and drug syndicate has been captured and crime rate decreses.

So far the signs are good. Most of the drug kingpins have either fled the country or have been apprehended. The number of drug addicts has declined, and so has the crime rate. The challenge is now to maintain these levels.

But at what cost? Sure, the dealers may have left, but the sourcing (China), is still right there, producing precursors by the tanker full. I do not think you are living in the Philippines that is why it is easy for you to say this things.  We feel safer now more than ever.  People around the world would not mind when innocent people dies in the hands of these drug addicts.  But would care and more concerned when drug addicts were killed and concerned about the abandoned families.  We are okay and we will support our President.  Mind yourself.

I'm not trying to be rude, but do you think you are the only country with a drug epidemic?

And have you ever used an illegal substance? I have, many types, and a lot of them.

Support your President. It doesn't make the shit right, simply Democratic.

And your culture will learn the implications in the next few decades of 'the war on drugs'. I hope it works as well for you as it worked out for us. Your children will bemoan the civil liberties you gave up to feel 'safe' Wink

Mind yourself. Smiley you will never justify the killing of a sick person for expediency, to me. fix the underlying problems that engender drug use in your society. Educate. This fosters change in a generation, an ideology that will grow and persist. Or, you can shoot people in the streets like fucking dogs, not even incarcerating them. Because a one time mistake (slipping into addiction) is a swell reason to leave this earth badly, right?

And if your kid (I doubt you have any, you seem to lack compassion) falls in with the wrong crowd or gets tricked into the enslavement that an addictive substance is, well, let's hope those hard men that would judge his fate, don't judge him too harshly Sad
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin on: June 29, 2017, 03:18:13 AM
Signature campaigns used to pay more bitcoins because the equivalent on USD was low, and that's no longer the case now so It really won't be that easy If that's all you are planning to do. If you however have some skills such as programming, or photoshoping then you could offer your services, and If you are actually good at what you are doing, It won't take you much time until you get your first bitcoin.

My first bitcoin was on the Faucet, and I'm very addicted to it way back then since I'm just a newbie, I couldn't join any Signature Campaign that time because of my rank, but yeah, it is true that the Signature Campaign is paying more bitcoin than any other ways on how you could earn bitcoin, especially if you are going to put a lot of time on it and hard works, you could save a lot of bitcoin and going to be a millionaire someday if you are going to hold it wisely.

Many of us came to the point that we start on faucets but the funniest time with me before is I think that the collected money i get from faucet is huge but turns out to be annoyed when I converted it to fiat since my expactation on faucet turns down. But I continue to earn with that thing untill I have funds enough to open an exchanger account and put some capital there.

Bro, I purchased a 100 dollar tablet with my first bitcoin earnings. When bitcoin was 90. I paid 2500 for a 100 dollar tablet. And I lived on bitcoin during those years, I was paying rent and buying groceries with bitcoin earned at 100-150. Which would amount to  400 trips to restaurant, or a 200 dollar tank of gas. I think back on those wonderful times, and I beat my head against the wall, slowly.

I could have purchased a house with the rent I spent Sad hindsight, 20/20 and all that.
927  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money Transmitter License for a Crypto Exchange Required by Every US State? on: June 29, 2017, 03:11:08 AM
Could get very expensive very quickly.
Quote
Forty-eight US states regulate money transmitters although the laws vary from one state to the other.[3] Most of the states[4] require a surety bond with widely ranging amounts from as little as $25,000 to over $1 million and maintaining a minimum capital requirement. There is an association of state regulators, the Money Transfer Regulators Association (MTRA)[5] that seeks to create uniformity and common practices and efficient and effective regulation of money transmission industry in the United States of America. The MTRA membership consists of state regulatory authorities in charge of regulating money transmitters and sellers of traveler’s checks, money orders, drafts and other money instruments.

I had to help write a feasibility report on this at CEX: ( you don't have to have a service offering in every state, and it's certain states that have a long history of financial regulation, that make up the bulk of the surety. Like New York and California. Some states are damn near freebies, inversely. The capital requirement is pooled, that is, there are only a few times where the state requires their capital requirement to stand alone, for liabilities sake (again, Cali, New York). Ultimately we hired a company to do this for us Wink

This is gatekeeper regulation; allowing citizens to run exchanges without oversight is dangerous from a liability standpoint. And without the AML/KYC (my part of that report), an exchange is facilitating money laundering, as per the law. The US gov does not fuck around with KYC/AML.

It's a neccesity, the regulations, but I do agree it's limiting.

930  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC a chance to change the deadlock of 1% rich peple holding FIAT capital on: June 29, 2017, 01:56:49 AM
There is no way to prevent uneven bitcoin distribution.

In the end when Bitcoin will turn out to be a legit, true and successful asset then rich FIAT holders simply liquidate their fiat positions in favour of BTC.
Nothing will really change, rich will be richer and poor wouldn't still be able to afford to buy enough BTC to change their life

As to me, this is an unlikely scenario

With Bitcoin we likely have a wave of new money coming in (the so-called nouveaux riches). Obviously, fiat deep pockets (those will represent old money) will be in a subdued position if we assume that they would ever want to switch to Bitcoin one day (they will be running after ever evading prices like a kitten trying to catch its tail). This is certainly not what they will like because they simply can't accept this state of affairs. So they will likely try to fight Bitcoin whenever it starts to threaten their financial hegemony

Amen. The capitalization of the average 'rich' bitcoiner pales in comparison to the dynastic wealth of the truly rich, the actual 1%. Bitcoin would have to go to infinity to catch up with these guys,, there are folks on the Forbes list that are worth GDPs of small third world nations. Old money wouldn't have time for all the new, disruptive money running around, lobbying and whatnot and mucking up the general state of affairs.  And the government gets the most of its bread and butter from the top of the ladder. If bitcoin threatened the status quo, it will be regulated to a fine mist Smiley
931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 29, 2017, 01:49:24 AM
You could like, write a report on bitcoin with some of the responses here. There's this 'Sig campaign' style that exist only on this forum, it's like 4 declarative obvious sentences that are relatively ambiguous. For adding xirqtions, viola, research paper Wink

Anyway, I digree (and I can't make a low quality post whilst shitting on others).

Bitcoin will never see 1000 again, and if it does, you won't want to touch it. Since Gox, it seems we have established psychological price floors, usually based off the former ath. We met 1000 after Gox, when we passed 1000 again after the Great Bear Run of 2014, we didn't fall under it during our subsequent crash. For BTC to breach the new price floor (I imagine 2000), we would need a serious technical breakdown. If that happened, like I said, you wouldn't want to touch bitcoin; no longer as safe of an investment (it isnt) and 1000 wouldn't be the floor I'm this scenario, it could go to ruin.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fake News has potentially ruined Ether on: June 29, 2017, 12:50:27 AM
Fake news can also skyrocket it back

Amen. Coins pump on rumors and lies all of the time, that's kind of the way it works here. None of these coins have a valuation based off of reality; the prices of these assets are purely speculative.

Fake news may impact a coin for a short time but the real big investors have enough tools and experience to detect those fake news.

Sometimes. Not a lot of reliable sources of breaking news in this sphere; we are dealing with money so you can't really trust advice here. Diligence is necessary, but sometimes it's damn near impossible (which used to mean 'don't invest'.)

And if you don't react, you might get left behind Sad it's a enigma, LOL
933  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: June 29, 2017, 12:45:06 AM
I think it's not so important to be the first. There are many coins which are more developed in technical sense than bitcoin. But keep in mid that bitcoin started it's "career" almost 10 years ago and LTC and ETH are kids if to compare them with BTC. I am sure one or even some of altcoins may replace bitcoin one day and get even more success, but I can't tell you now when exactly it will happen.

With that being said, bitcoin kind of happened before the banks were aware of it, it crept up on everyone. Bitcoin is a goverment/bank nightmare; funds whizzing around not attached to socials, capital flight, and citizens hiding assets. In other words, hard to regulate. ETH and XRP are mutable in that regard.

Bitcoin is the oldest and most generally trusted blockchain; that's why it will always be here. But it won't necessarily be the most popular blockchain forever, that will be a corporate sponsored blockchain, and most likely Ethereum.

If Google makes a coin, ID drop bitcoin like a bad habit. Because Google and it's coffers simply wouldn't let that coin die.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets on: June 29, 2017, 12:32:13 AM
was more keen to get a keepkey but last month they told me to wait for their email letting me they have stock back again, so far nothing

will eventually buy a trezor but yes, being limited to the number of coins supported is a minus

I was lucky to grab a KK off of Amazon a while back before they became like unicorns Wink it's fuckin great, Im still running the beta Chrome extension that gives you multiple cointypes and ShapeShift™ integrated (can't help it, I'm on a phone and it just looks so damned official). And if I break it, meh, I'll buy another and use the key phrase to restore. If I can buy one now, LOL.

Best purchase ever. But I would kill for it to have buttons (numerical) and the shifting pin thing (it's hard for me to explain) is an absolute pain if you unplug the device frequently.

Like, why do I keep hearing hardware wallets are so hard to find? Is the demand really that bigger than the supply, or are they simply not making enough of these?
935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why God exists in all people mind? on: June 29, 2017, 12:20:26 AM
Who create God? Why there is always a confusion, misunderstanding and debates on the topic of God? Why do people want God? Isn't we are the one to make everything possible? We don't have to give our faith and hope to God. Isn't it ? Why God exists in all people mind? Embarrassed

God is in all people's minds because he is the only figure we are made out to fear. Believing in God keeps you controlled, disciplined, and on edge. The word god is a social construct and man-made, we as a people feel as though we need something to believe in because if we do not have this kind of relief then we will go crazy attempting to cope with the mysteries of the world. Most people cannot handle the fact that if there is no god then there really are no rules to life or even purpose. Living is a sick joke.

Love your name, but I prefer indicas myself Wink fuck being cogent.

I've always interpreted the 'fear of God' thing to be 'overwhelming respect of God'. I grew up Southern Baptist, if I sneezed hard in church, I was going to Hell LOL. But an infinitely loving being wouldn't want you to be scared, much like a parent. They want obedience through respect. Things compelled by fear are never as permanent, and fear is a enemy of free will, which is what a lot of all this is about.

God being in everyone's mind is actually the basis for one of the arguments for His existence (modus tullens);

Quote
Here’s the Ontological Argument in Modus Tollens form:

1. God is the greatest conceivable being
2. The idea of God exists within the mind
3. A being which exists in the mind and reality is greater than a being that exists only in the mind
4. If God only exists in the mind then we can conceive a greater being which exists in reality
5. We can’t conceive something that is greater than God
6. Therefore God exists.

Ive seen more compelling arguments that this, but it gets the job done.

I kinda think we exist in the mind of God, myself, but I have not researched if this belief is compatible with my faith. I'll get around to it eventually Smiley
936  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: June 28, 2017, 11:58:07 PM
Which sex is God?

Does He have a penis or a vagina?

If He has either...and there is only one God...why would he need reproductive organs?

In all honesty, God is the universe therefore he/she has no gender. Jesus is the personification of the sun which is why many religions all seem to have the same kind of characteristics i.e. rising after three days, etc.
Check out the documentary titled: Zeitgeist. It's really good.

Christians don't believe that Jesus is a sun God. He is the Light, but it's the illumination that the Trinity (Love, Beauty and Truth) provides us .

First, God is a Spirit and does not possess human characteristics or limitations. Second, all the evidence contained in the Book agrees that God revealed Himself to mankind in a male form. Not that I think it matters, but I think a dude was a good choice for this earth. Patriarchy won like, centuries ago. Like a female president, I don't think we are ready for a Goddess Wink

Also, I don't think God is going to hump, so gender doesn't really do  Him a whole lot Smiley
Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy you just done the same  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy..ARE YOU QUACKERS?

so gender doesn't really do  Him < HIM Roll Eyes Roll Eyes DOZY ASS Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It like, literally says, in the Bible, multiple times, He is a Him. As in when he chooses to present himself to us, I can recollect no time in the Book where he was represented as a female.  In fact, no Celestial is portrayed as female in the Old or New Testament. For one, gender is a biological construct; you need substance to have gender. Things beyond the veil exist as ideologies, concepts. There is no substance in Heaven. The stories which concern angels taking wives and having children (Nephelim) occur on the material plane, IE Earth. You clearly must have substance to exist on this plane. So when you cross the veil, ideology becomes reality, and  somewhere in all that, you get balls and dick Smiley

I bet I sound fucking bananas to you right now Wink meh.
937  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: June 28, 2017, 10:53:17 PM
This is something that European union has tried and partialy successeded, to use one currency for all member states. And still there are problems so I don't think it's possible for entire world to use only one currency. Many countries consider currency as part of their sovereignity and something that economy is dependent on so it's hard to abandone that.
The experiment of the euro has been a completely failure in my opinion, they tried to impose a single currency to different nations with different needs and we are seeing the consequences of that terrible mistake, I would not like to live in a country in which politicians are risking the future of the people in order to try to make an experiment work.

Consequences such as....? The Euro has made doing business and banking across borders much easier. Traveling has become much more comfortable without having to exchange money all the time. I don't want to think about how complicated buying Bitcoin would have been without the Euro.
The euro was not needed for that, they could have used the dollar or exchange their own currencies for that, the euro has caused that countries with high debt to be unable to inflate the debt away by printing their currency since they no longer have control over the currency, this means that an economic crisis that could be cut short by taking such measures now seems to be something that is never going to end.

To many trade-offs with a global currency. Developed nations would love it since there would no longer be currency risk in international trade. Nations like China could no longer use currency exchange as a means to make their goods cheaper on the global market. But like the Euro, regional monetary policy would have to take a back seat to global momentary policy, and those that fall behind will stay behind because they can't manipulate their fiat, say, lowering interest rates to lessen the severity of a recession. But places with rampant inflation, is corrupt third world countries, it would be the bees knees. Imagine Zimbabwe on a dollar standard. Or Nigeria.
938  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: June 28, 2017, 10:43:29 PM
When you get a little older, you will find that banks are a neccesary evil. Cash is great, but the government takes a dim eye when citizens collect large amounts of fiat. For example, try purchasing a house or a car above 10k with fiat; you can't. In the same vein, it's damn near impossible to remit certain bills in fiat (you would need a money order at least, it's a PITA). And although it may be cheaper if you make under x annually, you will die a death of a million cuts from check cashing fees. Banks aren't a bad idea, they just do it wrong.

Banks shouldn't be able to issue shares, IMO. Shareholders (pleasing them at least) cause so many issues.

Excellent article man. I'm going to reread this over a drink after I post this, I want to digest the minute details (I grind fine but slowly Smiley ) My mind melted a bit when I read the 'sum of' sign, LOL Smiley

Most of the currencies out there are floating currencies, which means the markets dictates their value. Even if there are fixed rate currencies, they are pegged to some major, like the USD, so anyway, the market will dictate their fate.

Bitcoin, to be honest, is purely borne on speculation and manipulation. It doesn't take a very big whale to make a splash on any of these exchanges, as evidenced by the frequency and severity of 'fat finger' errors. The majority of btc traders are novice traders; the volatile reflects this. The price is simply what the majority wants it to be. The value doesn't reflect the cost of production, that is, miner power and maintenance. The lack of a basis of valuation (they are non physical assets, don't correlate to real world assets) makes this essentially monetized knowledge. You can't put a price on knowledge, hence, this.

Serious question, does Steem generate a decent income stream? People were making bank posting fucking recipes,  this is a goddamned thesis and you only have 1.50?

Support this man people. He cares, obviously Wink

And that is the different between decentralized and centralized coins . As much as I love ether and love the money I made from it but still coin with one man behind it >> ( decision making ) can easily get manipulated .

To be honest, the Bitcoin Foundation/core devs are the point of centralization for us. Sure, it's distributed amongst more actors, but they pretty much all reside at a central point. I'm not defending Ethereum, I actually agree with you, but I prefer ETH in this case because for once, corporate interest will ensure the longevity of a thing rather than bring it's early demise. R3, Azure; the amount of research and development funds invested in ETH and related projects will ensure it will most likely stick around.
