921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bots and fake accounts in Telegram channels on: August 17, 2021, 02:34:58 PM
Some admins in some telegram group often request that all members of the group should have a username (@username) to easily detect real from fake account i guess, but i am not sure if this method is very effective, who knows maybe the bots have a way of creating fake username as well, for now i don't think there is such app to detect fake from real account but who knows someone may invent one soon.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incredible stories of Bitcoin millionaires on: August 16, 2021, 06:33:03 PM
Fast forward to current time and price, this person has rip more than he/she sowed, I mean with such amount of btc at present price! Jaw dropping  i.e if the wallet still hold the btc or at least a good amount of it till this recent times (since I didn't click on the link to validate the post) but assuming he still hold till now, it will be insane, the early adopters really got lucky back then, imagine this amount of btc all from donation Shocked
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WALMART is hiring a cryptocurrency product lead ! on: August 16, 2021, 06:21:18 PM
I completely agree, sooner than later things seems to be unfolding before our very own eyes, few years back nobody would believe this giant will consider crypto as part of their activities, 'if you can't beat them you join them' they can no longer resist for too long, the road to acceptance is inevitable. Btc is gradually wining them over no doubt. I hope they can make it official and not act like Amazon who are still confused.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Cardano? on: August 15, 2021, 05:35:58 PM
To me I would have preferred a more stronger use case other than just smart contract, I mean eth and now bsc with other few network are already providing that and I don't see a strong point in providing smart contract except the ability to create more useless projects into the market, they should opt for something more useful, plus why does it have to take them so long just to provide smart contract! perhaps they need some lesson from bsc since they seem to get theirs done much more faster than expected.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 15, 2021, 05:24:40 PM
Everyday there is always a victim of this so-called giveaway scam, there lots of naive people in crypto unfortunately, it is very easy for them to fall for this type of obvious scam offer,  if it is too good to be true don't get involved, but some people are too greedy to notice the signs, let's just hope constant reminder will help to reduce the number of victims.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin as a local currency! on: August 15, 2021, 05:08:34 PM
Some countries may use btc as an option to their already known legal currency, even though some countries may decide to legalise btc I doubt they will have it as the main legal tender, btc is highly volatile which can be a strong point of consideration for many country, an optional currency will be possible but as main currency will be difficult.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB a good long-term or short-term investment? on: August 14, 2021, 02:27:45 PM
Long, mid and short term bnb will always appear to be a good investment, bnb is always a good choice among other investment decisions, I believe bnb has the capability and capacity to go above 1k in near future as long as things are going well for binance because anything that affects binance will invariably affect bnb too, beside this, bnb is good investment anytime.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin - bull run? on: August 14, 2021, 02:14:54 PM
Whatever it is am just happy and glad to see the a good part of the market looking green and lively, portfolio's looking attractive again (pleasing in the eyes) I will assume this to be the phase 2 bull run, btc, eth, bnb, and some other alts have appreciate in price a lot, and it seems the market is just getting started, I really want to see btc hit a new ath before year end in this second bull run.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-sale] Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin on: August 13, 2021, 06:34:29 AM

So far, I also still don't understand why SOV Token has not been traded on the main exchange, even though we know that several large exchanges invest in Sovryn, it should not be difficult for Sovryn to be listed on the main exchange.
Although some people don't like if DEX Exchange tokens have to be listed on multiple CEX exchanges, but I think being listed on multiple major CEX exchanges is a great way of marketing and increasing trading volume.

I also think now is the right time to launch in one of at least 2nd tier exchange to increase both liquidity and exposure, aside from not many people are aware of the project,  the Sovryn platform and rsk network is new to many people, which to me is a little drawback in the part of attracting more investors, I personally do not have any problem accessing it but I have seen some people mentioned this in their Telegram, which is why a list in one of cex can boost things up a bit.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn passive income with ethereum 2.0 on: August 13, 2021, 06:18:18 AM
As usual making the rich richer:)
It may be seems the concept of rich richer, but if we make some efforts and get into the validator.

No matter what effort you make, you cannot change the minimum limit for validator. 32 ETH now is $96000. Even Americans I believe cannot easily find this amount of money,,, what more to say other people. In my country minimum wage is something like $250 max so if you never spend you can get $3000 a year. not even enough to buy 1 ETH:)

This type of offer is for the selected few no doubt, not very many people can easily have 32 eth to run a node as a validator, that's quite high to begin with, and as for joining a pool, like someone already mentioned above there will be many fake ones out there, the risk of falling into the wrong ones is very high, from all indication this is not an easy way to earn passively, not in favor of the smaller guys, better to look out for other options with less risk.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or Binance Chain (BNB)? on: August 13, 2021, 05:59:42 AM
Aside from the now very expensive transaction fees (although occasionally at a reasonable fees) I don't see anything wrong with Ethereum network, after all it was the first smart contract and many of us were too familiar with it, I guess being the only one at the initial stage without any strong competition makes things take an unexpected turn, too much pressure with all the erc20 project under the network creating problems, but ever since bsc step in as a strong contender the pressure on ethereum network is much less which imo is not a bad idea, it seems they where bitten more than they could chew. Both network are good in their respective ways.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs, DEFI, NFTs, - what's next? on: August 13, 2021, 05:46:24 AM
-snip-
it sounds amazing but also sounds empty at the same time. i doubt a jargon like this can help them market their product better.
Just ignore him, DIVI shill already exist in this forum since a few years ago and they are still creating more and more post about "DIVI was the best project" lol.

Just hope people will not buy the shill coin or token. It's not even a jargon but he was promoting what they have been investing. this's called as a way to increase the demand  Cheesy

Thought I was the only one who noticed the Divi shill dude always talking about Divi at the slightest opportunity,  I have even at some point decided to take a look at the so heavily shilled project to see what is really interesting about it but to me it is just same old as rest of the projects out there, I am suspecting the Divi shill dude is part of the team, otherwise how a mere supporter will have such devotion except of course he is heavily compensated for his hard shilling work Tongue
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs, DEFI, NFTs, - what's next? on: August 12, 2021, 06:11:00 PM
I don't think nft and defi trends are going low yet, maybe whatever trend to come out will probably happen by next year, right now defi and nft are still very much in vogue and most of the project launch always have a connection with either one or both of this trend which is a selling point of the project, people are very much hyped on this trend and it will take some time before something new will take over.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 11, 2021, 03:22:34 AM
Except they have a legal issues that will go beyond fixing otherwise it is highly unlikely for such an established company (regardless of the rumored loopholes) to go to zero, however, there is a possibility such situation can happen when there are serious issues that may leads to government intervention, besides, there are many other recommended stablecoin options out there in the case where you are not comfortable using tether reserve your funds, it is hard to tell what actually is happening with tether, all I have heard is rumours of not being properly audited.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: August 11, 2021, 03:10:02 AM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that shiba inu is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in shiba inu?

Where did you get such information describing Shiba inu like btc! How did they come about comparing a meme coin with a full fledged high tech like btc! Certainly the most ridiculous thing I have heard, probably because Elon describe dogecoin in same manner same reason this irrelevant comparison, Shiba inu just like dogecoin are fun coins without any specific utility, they are probably good for pump and dump, short term profit things, if you are looking for long term investment, better look elsewhere.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu anyone? on: August 10, 2021, 04:58:35 PM
Project like Shiba inu is solely base on hype and nothing more, this is temporary type of investment that give quick profit if you are lucky, and from the look of things the market seem to be in a good shape and it is very likely it will be bullish till year end, project like Shiba inu can get an unexpected pump in the process, this are my assumptions, the rest is up to you to decide,  you should not forget about the risk involve too.
937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: August 10, 2021, 04:38:59 PM
There were many people who were wishing to see Bitcoin price going down below $20k to accumulate even more. But the price didn't even come close to $20k. It went down to $29k the least. After that, we know what's happened and happening recently.  Grin

When we were in the bear market, I was expecting to see the price going down to $25k the least so I was also surprised to see this sudden rise.

abuse, emerge, crumble, link, faith, nurse, action, job, plunge, monster, stumble, scanYou expect bitcoin to drop too low when the opportunity is in front of your eyes and you throw it away. but now you feel regret after you saw bitcoin price break through $45,000 in such a short time. will you wait for a second chance for bitcoin to fall or take the opportunity now to invest at the current price.

I know soon we will start seeing this type of post soon, I guess it didn't take long for them to start, this type of people are always in regret because they have refuse to recognise an opportunity when it was in front of them, btc was below 30k few weeks back but some people refuse to take advantage, some where even waiting for btc at 15k (maybe that will happen later) now btc has recovered and the regrets has started flowing.
938  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 10, 2021, 04:26:10 PM
As long as your investment is long term I think it will bring positive result in the long run, I don't see any other investment that will be profitable and easy to manage as btc investment, anyone can manage their investment from the comfort of wherever they are, aside that, investment involves risk as much too, all you need is invest according to your ability.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 09, 2021, 04:07:12 PM
Because it is fully decentralized and has a fast transaction without the need of a middle man unlike the financial institution, because of having financial freedom and not tied to the clutches of the government, for the purpose of liberation and many other reasons some people could think of,  I guess only people who are in this school of thought will understand and buy btc at any cost without hesitation.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin the most Bullish crypto of the moment on: August 09, 2021, 03:57:02 PM
Anyone still thinks they will be able to buy below 30k? Few days back there were several post on btc next level of price dump but just as always btc managed to prove everyone wrong, this is the of the majority, even though the market is very volatile, btc price always manage to come back whenever it experience a dump, congrats to those who have the nerve to buy when the price was really down.
