"not well accepted" or "nothing"? We know the second statement is wrong, so I'm guessing the first? If so, are you monitoring how many darknet transactions happen? And if so, how? I'd love to get a factual basis for future reference, and if there's a tool out there that I'm unaware of, that would be a great help. |

Big competition? All of those coins have richlists/taintlists. Bolting tor onto a protocol that isn't private to begin with is like putting a Bugatti body on a Hindustan Ambassador frame--sure it looks fast to the uninitiated (and you may be able to sell it as such), but anyone looking under the hood is going to be thoroughly unimpressed. I don't know if you bought these coins, but if you did, you should get your money back. |

How knows about near xmr future? Do they try to make something interesting? Have about 100 XMR right now and don't know what to do. Sell them or try to wait till next movement
If you can't get on the GitHub and find reasons to hodl, then you don't deserve XMR and should give them to a better home. |

Aaaaaahhhhh goddammit *THIS* again... when oh when are ppl gonna get offa this fucking 'anonymity' focus and REALIZE that Monero is best because of FUNGIBILITY (a critical necessary absolutely essential aspect of what makes it possible for *anything* to be used as actual "currency") The happy accident that makes full honest-to-God fungibility just conveniently also provide untraceable anonymity ain't the point. That's just a lucky nice bonus that we get BUT it's NOT THE POINT OF MONERO AT ALL in fact. Srsly we monero-early-adopters really have GOT to GODDAMN get ON this message much STRONGER. ... that bug in my head telling me. Diveerrrrrrrsifffffyyyyyy, diiiiivvvveeerrrrsssiiiifyyyyyy I had that same voice saying that in my head last couple days BUT I managed to shout it down, LOL, and instead lately have un-diversified a bit... presumably just temporarily. By that I mean even though I was already "too heavy" into Monero vis-a-vis reasonable portfolio balance, lately I have cut deadwood and trimmed pruned slashed to the bone on *everything* else in order to have as much freed-up working capital to pile into XMR (and one other coin that shall remain unnamed here so as to not incite faction-wars) As a result at the moment I'm 91.5% into XMR and "the other" with only about 8.5% anything else. Not quite "all-in" but pretty fucking as close as I'll probably ever get. Srsly hope this isn't a mistake and hopefully I won't miss out on too much going on in other areas of crypto-space... but, ya know, it's just, like... man, seriously? right now... everything just looks SO MUCH like the STARS are ALIGNED in HoneyPony's favor!! P.S. I'm still srsly of the opinion that as *soon* as multi-sig hits, we will see coinbase announce XMR as their next coin...  I went so far as to dump that other coin--won't name it, but it reminds me of litecoin |
