942  Other / Meta / Re: why are more posts deleted in this few days? on: July 23, 2019, 06:09:55 PM
Please move this thread to Meta

Also, share the posts that were deleted so members could help you. As mentioned here, posts may get deleted if they seem repetitive but some members have complained that their posts in mainly gambling section have been deleted as they were reported and mods found them spammy. No clue why it happened as the posts were not off-topic.

943  Economy / Reputation / Re: For how much money heroes and legends are willing to advertise fraud and scam? on: July 23, 2019, 05:17:03 PM
Exchanges cannot be regarded as scam till they start scamming everyone like yobit and livecoin. Yobit recently paid me my pending money (which was in their wallet since a year) so it wouldn't be right for me to give them a negative trust because they did not pay others who were withdrawing thousands of dollars while exchanges like cryptopia who cheated all users including me deserve to be called scam as they ran away with users' funds that were not stolen and claimed bankruptcy. Livecoin recently cleared themselves by solving one accusation and even though they are shady without a doubt, they can't be termed scammers just like hitbtc and yobit. Those who are wearing the signature don't care about the consequences users who have been cheated have faced because they are earning and haven't been cheated by livecoin which is really a shame. If livecoin was genuine, they wouldn't have locked their thread and self-moderated it.
944  Other / Meta / Re: How many posts deleted will lead to temporary ban (the first one)? on: July 23, 2019, 04:46:52 PM
I always knew there was no limit to the number of posts deleted that can decide whether the member will get banned or not as many times without any post getting deleted, members have got temp banned. Also, the user needs to understand the difference between post deleted by the TM and by the moderator as many get confused by this too as they receive notifications for both.

What other assurance do you need? The bill is approved and will be passed soon.

Who said it will be passed soon? It has just been drafted and like that so many bills have been drafted and have never passed. Also, I don't think they will pass such a rigorous imprisonment for people who hold cryptos.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 23, 2019, 04:32:52 PM

One of the reason for cricket not being watched by too many people is duration to finish a match. However T20 matches are helping cricket to get more exposure. But for a real cricket fan, Test and ODIs are the best format and satisfactory to watch.

The older generation consider that the only form of cricket is test match because in that you can judge the true capability of a cricketer but I've seen that so many times the matches end up with no result. T20 puts too much pressure on the cricketers and doesn't give them anytime to settle down and hence we see that atleast 2 wickets fall in the first 7-8 overs as even the openers want to start scoring for the second over itself. But IPL has changed things in India where we get to see great batsmen all in one team. I still remember how Delhi Daredevils had 5 batsmen that were the best cricketers coming together from different countries.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 23, 2019, 01:31:48 PM
We have a separate topic for T20 discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5102095.0 :-)

Back to the Gayle thing, I do not know any update available about his retirement but it's very much predictable that he will retire from ODIs if he can not perform well but for T20s - he is still non-replaceable I think and Gayle should carry on to it.

Posting here since this is the T20-related thread.

It's really sad that Gayle in not playing in T20s as he is the best player suited for this format. In ODIs, I understand that his performance is bad while for T20s, WI needs him as their previous performance against India was miserable. I've never seen a player in IPL who could hit 6s back-to-back like Gayle and   once he sets in, he is capable of taking the score to 200+.

There's no point in being sure they are going to be banned but it's more probable that the announcement can be delayed like the case. There was the RBI-crypto hearing today as well and looks like again it got postponed.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 23, 2019, 09:40:44 AM
There's a T20 series coming up between India and WI and I just checked the players list and noticed Gayle is not in the team. He said he would retire from ODIs after the WC but did he retire from T20 also?
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever looked at how much you have wagered with a hanging mouth? :P on: July 22, 2019, 04:05:58 PM

OP, are you sure about that amount? As far as I remember you recently cleared your high school and preparing for engineering ( it means you are not older than 20 years) and you are from India, West Bengal. May I know how long you have been in gambling?

Your statement might be correct, but I am sure then you mistakenly posted this topic with your Alt account Tongue. if not then stop posting BS plz

This is your post.
Hi, I am a recent high-school passed out with decent grades in Math, Physics and Chem and currently preparing for engineering entrances for undergraduate courses in computer science engineering in a good college. I am fluent in three languages which are English, Bengali and Hindi of which Bengali is my native language. I would love to know if there are any jobs I am suitable for  Grin do lemme know  Cool

It's not impossible with bitcoins actually as in gambling sites, so many times people have managed to triple their amount and then wagered it again and again and plus gambling sites give bonuses and all. It's the wagered amount and doesn't mean that he deposited it.

954  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin sudden dump, when it will bounce again... on: July 16, 2019, 06:56:31 PM
It will reach $7-8k soon so there's no need to panic or sell bitcoins and even there's no particular reason for the bear-bill market. Altcoins also are suffering as ETH price dropped too so instead of buying bitcoins now, it's better to wait for 2-3 days when it reaches below 8k and then hold. I don't think it would be stable in the coming 2 weeks as well.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 16, 2019, 08:38:30 AM
Thanks Royse777 for organizing this prediction pool.

Morning all,

I'm still recovering from that game yesterday, my heart was beating through my chest during the last 20 balls and the super over. So much drama, so many moments of luck that changed the entire game - I've never seen anything like that Stokes overthrow boundry before!

Congrats to the other winners! I won't be claiming my prize so happy for it to be split between the other winners, or put it into the next cricket pool!

What's next for the cricket pool crew? Ashes?  Grin

Since the tournament is over it's about time I dished out the prizes for the latter rounds! I'm going to go with the yellow caps this time round:

Rajavu (Round 6)
erikalui (Round 7)
fifaworldcup (Round 8 )
Harkorede (Round 9)
Timon (Round 10)
vishnu (Semis)
eaLiTy (Finals)

If your name is listed above then please drop me a PM with your Cloudbet nickname and I'll get your bonus added ASAP   Cheesy

Have a great day!

Thanks cloudbet for this prize although never expected to be a winner but feels so great Cheesy

Knew that England would win from the time India lost but never knew the match would be so thrilling. Am still confused that how Eng won when they tied the match and the extra over just because of boundaries. But still it was their first ever win so congrats to England.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stop Blaming Bounty Hunter! on: July 12, 2019, 09:10:13 AM
Some tokens are reserved and mostly the tokens of the investors and bounty hunters are trading on exchanges which is the reason investors blame bounty hunters and to some extent I agree as the hunters who participate in FB, Twitter and other content campaigns dump their tokens on Etherdelta and exchanges as they aren't interested in holding them and since many hunters have multiple accounts, they dump thousands of tokens for a worthless price. This has reduced lately though.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 11, 2019, 08:29:44 AM
Still heart broken, don't know what to say about yesterday match. 1 of the big loss of the year for me, but heart broken not because of financial loss but because India lost to New Zealand.

We can't do anything but feel bad about the loss. Till the 44th over, I still had hope but when Dhoni got out, all my hopes were shattered. I really felt they could reach the finals Sad

They managed to win all matches except for the NZ one being washed out and one against Eng. Wish the openers could perform well.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 10, 2019, 04:17:13 PM
I did not watch the semis as did not have access to the internet but heard people talking about it and keeping their all hopes on Dhoni. Checked the players scores and they say "teen tigada kaam bigada" which suits today's play. Rahul, Rohit, Virat all getting out for 1 which implies our loss was sure. Congrats to NZ and its fans as they truly deserved their win.
